Abap to mass create business scenarios, business process, and process steps

HI,
Really struggling to figure out how to mass create "folders" in the business blue print structure.      Periodically we will need to add in a new business scenario with everythign associated with it.  the business has already written up all the information in excel sheets and we would like to avoid having to manually enter this data every time..   These scenarios and process etc are project specifc.
Has anyone done this before? I have been playing with SOLAR_STRUCTURE_CREATE and while i can see the lines being added into table, i can't get anything to appear after wards in SOLAR01.
Any and all help greatly appreciated
Sara

Hello.
I was searching how to use the program RS_SOLAR_IMPORT_STRUCTURE for mass create business scenarios in Solar01.
I saw you was in the forums about this. Do you got to do?
Can give me this development?
Thank you for your help.

But in XI 3.0 how do you differentiate Business scenario in ID and IR

    Hey Gabriel,
I think you are getting confused between Integration Scenario and Business Scenario.
Business Scenario's are build using ID where are Intergration Scenario's build using IR.

  • Back ground processes, dialogue processes and Process chains

    Hai all,
I am going through making process chains and I am struck with one thing:
"How many background process chains and dialogue processes you have during run time"
This is the problem. I understood everything else except this. The concept says that I have to know what is the capacity of the system, how many background and dialogue processes it could accomodate, how many are left and how many you can use for your process chain. How do we find out this? and could somebody please explain me or refer to documentation about the Back ground processes, dialogue processes and Process chains.
    Thanks.

    Hi Visu,
You can see the number of dialog and background processes by using transaction SM51 and then double clicking on the server (we only have one but it may be different for each). Our BASIS folks take care of the number of processes as well. And, for us we have a schedule that changes the number at a certain time of day because you tend to need more dialog during the day but more batch at night.
The transaction to look at and change the settings is RZ03. Then use the menu path Edit->Operation Modes you can select either Configuration or Timetable here. Both give information in different ways. I tend to double click around to see what it might tell me.
I hope this helps a bit,
    Diane

  • Business scenarios on SD and MM modules for generic datasources and enhance

    Hi,
Can anybody send some documents on SD and MM module on generic datasource and on enhancements.Pl send it to my MailID:[email protected]
    Thanks,

    Hi,
    MM Process flow:
The typical procurement cycle for a service or material consists of the following phases:
    1. Determination of Requirements
Materials requirements are identified either in the user departments or via materials planning and control. (This can cover both MRP proper and the demand-based approach to inventory control. The regular checking of stock levels of materials defined by master records, use of the order-point method, and forecasting on the basis of past usage are important aspects of the latter.) You can enter purchase requisitions yourself, or they can be generated automatically by the materials planning and control system.
    2. Source Determination
The Purchasing component helps you identify potential sources of supply based on past orders and existing longer-term purchase agreements. This speeds the process of creating requests for quotation (RFQs), which can be sent to vendors electronically via SAP EDI, if desired.
    3. Vendor Selection and Comparison of Quotations
The system is capable of simulating pricing scenarios, allowing you to compare a number of different quotations. Rejection letters can be sent automatically.
    4. Purchase Order Processing
The Purchasing system adopts information from the requisition and the quotation to help you create a purchase order. As with purchase requisitions, you can generate Pos yourself or have the system generate them automatically. Vendor scheduling agreements and contracts (in the SAP System, types of longer-term purchase agreement) are also supported.
    5. Purchase Order Follow-Up
The system checks the reminder periods you have specified and - if necessary - automatically prints reminders or expediters at the predefined intervals. It also provides you with an up-to-date status of all purchase requisitions, quotations, and purchase orders.
    6. Goods Receiving and Inventory Management
Goods Receiving personnel can confirm the receipt of goods simply by entering the Po number. By specifying permissible tolerances, buyers can limit over- and underdeliveries of ordered goods.
    7. Invoice Verification
The system supports the checking and matching of invoices. The accounts payable clerk is notified of quantity and price variances because the system has access to PO and goods receipt data. This speeds the process of auditing and clearing invoices for payment.

    SD Process Flow:
The sales documents you create are individual documents but they can also form part of a chain of inter-related documents. For example, you may record a customer’s telephone inquiry in the system. The customer next requests a quotation, which you then create by referring to the inquiry. The customer later places an order on the basis of the quotation and you create a sales order with reference to the quotation. You ship the goods and bill the customer. After delivery of the goods, the customer claims credit for some damaged goods and you create a free-of-charge delivery with reference to the sales order. The entire chain of documents – the inquiry, the quotation, the sales order, the delivery, the invoice, and the subsequent delivery free of charge – creates a document flow or history. The flow of data from one document into another reduces manual activity and makes problem resolution easier. Inquiry and quotation management in the Sales Information System help you to plan and control your sales.
    Transaction Codes:
    Inquiry - VA11/VA12/VA13
    Quotation - VA21/VA22/VA23
    Sales Order - VA01/VA02/VA03
    Delivery - VL01N/VL02N/VL03N
    Billing/Invoicing - VF01/VF02/VF03

    Production Planning:
For example, consider a pump manufacturing plant, based on the customer requirement, planning is done for future months ( we plan for a qty on particular
date). Pump is an assembly - were main component would be manufactured in the plant and others would be procured. As PP, we are concerned only in the inhouse
manufacturing but the final assembly (considering BOM) can be done only if the procured components are available. MRP helps in planning the shortage, on
particular date based on the planned date. Work center (ex. lathe) place the components are machined/assembled (were the operation is done). Sequence of
operation is routing (lead time scheduling data is got from routing). In the MRP Run,basic or lead time scheduling (need to know when to start/finish date)
is done. On creation of the production order, system checks for which BOM and routing to be picked up (if there are many routings or BOM for that particular
finished product). Availabilty checks for material,PRT and capacity needs to be done. on release of the order, confirmation of the order can be done (on
completion of the order or after manufacturing the quantities). GI and GR have to be done.PP flow ends here
step 1: creation of master data (Material master,BOM,Work center,Routing)
step 2: Planning - can be done by Planned independent requirement (MD61), Independent requirement (MD81).
we plan for a quantity, on which date (it would be finish date).
step 3: MD04 -stock/requirement lsit (plan made can be viewed in MD04)
step 4: MRP run - MD02, PIR is converted into Planned order
step 5:Planned order to be converted production order - CO40, CO41
step 6: production order to be released - CA02
step 7: confirm the production order (order confirmation-CO15 (after which GI and GR is done)

  • Creating a script for Notification and Processing of document status change

    Hello,
I work for a company that uses SAP.  I'm not sure how much of what goes on in our company is company-specific, and how much of it would be understandable by anyone who uses SAP as this is the first company I've worked with that uses SAP.
    I'll explain my issue.
    See this picture: http://imagesi.com/8e08d.png
I would like to write a script, if it is possible, that will automatically notify me when the Document named "Credit memo Request" has changed to the status of "Completed."  I would like to set this up in a way to possibly scan all credit memo requests raised by my SAP username, and monitor this on an hourly basis.  I would also like SAP to then send me a copy of that Completed document.
Is this possible?  I know a little bit about scripting, and I would be able, I think, to learn whatever language I had to to write this on my own, but first I wanted to ask if this was possible to do.
    Thanks very much,
    Brian

    Hi,
I think you didn't post your question to the right forum... you won't be able to solve your problem with any scripting language.
To solve your problem you'll certaily have to use the SAP Business Workflow and/or write some ABAP program to implement some user-exit or badis.

  • Process and Forms - Using IT0000

    Hello,
I am creating a form in hcm Process and Process.
In form i want to have values from IT 0000.
    Fields i want are:
    1) Effective Date - P0000-Begda
    2) Action - P0000-MASSN
    3)Action reason - P0000-MASSG.
Now when i am trying to add these field from IT0000, using service fields(Form Scenarion->fields),
    1) If i map P0000-BEGDA to Effective Date, then when i execute form in backend, it gives dump.
    2) When i try to find massn and massg in structure for IT0000 (when addng fileds from service fields), the structure HCMT_BSP_PA_XX_R0000 does not have fields MASSN and MASSG in it.
I am new to this topic, please explain me the reason for this. And how can i use these 3 fields in my form.
    Regards,
    Ashish Gupta

    Hello Ashish,
if i understand it correctly you try to create an action / new entry in IT0000?
You don't need a mapping to SAP_PA for the default fields EFFECTIVE_DATA, MASSN or MASSG.
In order to create an action just provide a value for MASSN, using e.g. default value option and this should work.
Have a look at TERMINATION sample process to see how it is done exactly.
    Best Regards,
    Piotr

  • Process Chains AND process error

    Hello all,
I have process chain for weekly master data loading. In one step after loading master data we have AND process and there after Attribute Change Run process.
When I ran process chain the Master Data load process is successful ( upto that it is green in log view ) . After this process AND process is showing RED.
The display message is as follows:
This AND process is not waiting for event RSPROCESS , parameter
    423HLT8HZUIQTNDHWZJFNPBRC
Please let me know if any one has SOLUTION  to this. Thanks in advance.
    Yours
    SRM

    HI SRM,
That means, The proess after AND is watining for one process, the same
process which ur process waiting is already using by some other process.
That means for one process two process chains are calling at a time.
So this process chain failed due to the process is running by other process
    chain.
Now, after 10 or 30 min run again your process chain. if it runs successfully
then maintain the time gap between the two process chain which are using
    the same process.
Hope the answers is suitable for u.
    Thanks

  • Creating a Business Scenario for CPM BPC 10

    Hi Everyone,
I've been trying to create a Business Scenario within my Solution Manager (TCode: SOLAR01). But I've don't see any option related to our version of our Business Planning and Consolidation (BPC 10). The only option I see that is close enough is "SAP BusinessObjects Business Planning and Consolidation" but it shows an older product version "SAP BPC 7.0 FOR MICROSOFT, SAP BPC 7.0 FOR SAP NETWEAVER".
To be clear, the ff is what I'm trying to do.
    Steps:
    1. TCode SOLAR01
    2. Project >> Business Scenarios
    3. Source = Business Process Repository
    4. Add Scenario Name (F4)
Our SAP BPC software has been installed within our "SAP Netweaver AS ABAP 7.31" as the following Software Component:
    Software Component: CPMBPC
    Release: 801
    Level: 0001
    Highest Support Package: SAPK-80101INCPMBPC
Description: CPM Business Planning and Consolidation
So my question is, how do I properly add the business scenario that matches my BPC 10 software component? Is there anything I must do/check first?
Apologies if this might sound very basic, but I'm new to Solman.
    Any help is appreciated.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Brian

    Hi Brian,
I have the same scenario in my environment consisting of Solution Manager 7.0, "SAP Business Objects Business Planning and Consolidation" but it shows an older product version "SAP BPC 7.0 FOR MICROSOFT, " Only
But in Solution Manager 7.1 System it is showing both ""SAP BPC 7.0 FOR MICROSOFT,SAP BPC 7.0 FOR SAP NET WEAVER".
Please Suggest is anything needs to be done in Solman 7.0 System  ?

  • BPM - Restict display of Business Scenarios and Processes to Process Owners

    Hello Experts,
I have thoroughly researched but have been unable to find an answer to this question. Is it possible within BPM to filter either the business scenario or processes to the owners of that process or scenario. For example if I have BPMon turned on for Finance or OTC scenarios, I only want the people in finance to be able to view and monitor only their finance processes when they receive their alert and the same for OTC and the other process teams. Even at the process level I only want certain process owners to only have access to the processes that they are monitoring. Do you guys know if this is at all possible either through the work centers or dswp to restrict they view based on the business scenario or process?
    Thanks
    Mike

    Hello Mike,
at the moment there exists only an authorization object on "Solution"-level. So if it is an absolute must to allow views on different processes you would have to plit it into different solutions. But I don't recommend that as you might end up with an unnecessary amount of solutions.
The problem is known for some time and we forwarded it to the group which is generally responsible for the graphical display in Solution Manager, as we are only responsible for BPMon. The plan is to provide the option to create different views containing one or several processes and assigning then only these views to different users or user groups.
The shipment of this solution was targeted for ST400 SP23 but I have currently no information if it is finally within this Support Package.
I will try to follow up on this.
    Best Regards

  • 3.3.8 Create a Business Scenario Configuration

    Hi,
I am trying to create Business Scenario Configuration via the SCL SOAMANAGER site.
I click New, key in STARTER_SERVICES as the name and then proceed Next.
I click on Add, the Search page is displayed.
But I only have the option to search by Service. The guide states to change it to search by ServiceGroup.
    I dont have that option.
Is there another way of doing this?
    Thank you in advance.
    Haridev

    Hi Haridev,
all these steps should be taken care of by the installation Wizard.
However, if you want to do it manually, then make sure that you are in Step 3 Consumer Side. Click on Add and a new Window should open. In here the "Search By" field has "ServiceGroup" selected by default.
My guess would be that you are still in step 2 "Provider Side" where you can only search for Services.
    Regards,
    Holger.
