About Motion

Hi everybody, my question is, how can I make a freeze frame or still image in motion, I know How to do it in Final Cut, But I don't find the way in motion.
Some Help?

Or if you really wanted to get complicated you could keep the frame on the canvas, open up grab, take a screen-shot of the canvas, then edit/crop the image in Photoshop.
Attempted point is there's many ways to do it but Export/Current Frame is probably the easiest.

  • A bit of evangelizing about Motion 3

I was invited to a small event in Santa Monica with the Motion developers - a sort of Motion 3 roll out. Trish and Chris Meyer were there, JJ Franzen of South Park Studios was there, among others. There were several demo rooms set up and we were treated to demos of new features along with face time with the actual engineers who wrote the features being demoed.
First of all, though it will be focused on by everyone, 3d was only one aspect of the improvements. Tracking, Speed changes, Filters/Generators, Integration, Audio are some of the other new facets of Motion 3.
Although it's been portrayed as being lifted from Shake, the new tracker in Motion was written from scratch. It has some nifty features, like the ability to suggest tracking points, the ability to track a set of pixels even if they rotate from their original position. And you can do the typical tracking things, like stabilize or match motion or cornerpin.
Motion 3 allows you to alter the speed of clips with the standard "nearest neighbor" or frame blending, but it also will create new frames using optical flow analysis. Motion 3 does borrow code from Shake for its optical flow retiming. The addition of this speed change ability allows Motion to properly recognize speed changed clips when they're passed in from FCP.
The Audio changes are very cool - you can set any parameter to be affected by not only the audio volume, but audio changes as well (which is pretty close to a "beat detector"). Additionally, you can select different bands of frequencies to affect parameters. They had one demo where bass affected the birthrate of a particle emitter and the higher frequencies affected a drag behavior. I can imagine adding an audio track to a projectthat will never be heard just to trigger events in a natural rhythmic way.
There are new Filters (Bad TV is one fun one) and generators. Motion 3 finally has a grid generator - and a very nice one at that.
The integration with FCP is something that will be SO handy. Basically, you can design and save a template in Motion, during which you will mark specific text and graphics that will be accessible from within FCP. Then in FCP, you can cut in this template, then type in the text (just as though it was a Text Generator), drop any new graphics in their respective drop zones - and voilå! So credit sequences, lower thirds, all that kind of stuff becomes INFINITELY easier. You don't have to have umpteen jillion separate Motion projects, just a template. AND if you make changes to the template, it will instantly be reflected in your sequences, unlike the difficult route of propagating a change to many separate motion project files.
OH! Content... To quote one of the engineers, there is a METRIC TON of new content in Motion 3 - little things like widgets, gauges, bar graphcs, etc - you can throw together a mock HUD or cockpit display in about 20 seconds. Along with brushes, shapes, etc...
And I haven't even touched on the Paint capabilites - but a tidbit - when you use a tablet to paint, Motion records the timing and pressure so when it plays back, it mimics your timing exactly...
I could go on and on, but I'll stop there for now...
AMAZING - the difference between Motion 1 and 2 was nothing compared to the quantum leap that is Motion 3. I was there for 4+ hours and could've stayed for 4 more.
    Have fun!
    Patrick

Motion 3 finally has a grid generator -
and a very nice one at that.
For anyone stuck with Motion 2 still, it does have a (crude) Grid generator already if you know where to look. Just apply the checkerboard generator, apply the Edges filter under the Stylize sub menu, and adjust to your liking. Perfect? Hardly. Workable? In several of my projects at least.
Thanks for the very cool update though Patrick. Sounds like the event was fun!
    Peace,
    -Harry

    Hi guys,
    I have one problem.
I have two boxes and one line. If I connect line with two
boxes and if I move my boxes the line should be automaticly redraw
according to the position of the box.
So if anyone can help me out how to do this stuff I really
    appreciate.

  • Advice About Switching To Motion

    Hi all,
Just wanted some advice, I'm coming from Adobe products like Premiere and After Effects and wanted to know if the Mac products were just as good and you can achieve everything you can in After Effects? If someone could let me know the best Mac packages to buy would be much appreciated...
    Cheers!

I can't speak about Premiere Pro 2.0, the last version I used was 1.0. Let it also be said that I learned on FCP, so naturally, I'm going to prefer that. Although, Premiere does has a very similar interface, at least when compared to other NLEs like Avid or Vegas.
I used Premiere 6.5 and Premiere Pro 1.0 on my personal PC before I switched over to Mac. 6.5 had numerous incompatbility problems with my hardware (liked to magically reboot my computer when playing back audio recorded at 32Khz). And it was a memory hog. Pro 1.0 was a pretty big upgrade, but still had stability and performance issues for me. On a comprable Mac, FCP was always more responsive and stable. Since I haven't used it in a while, I can't really compare the two feature-wise now.
As far as choosing a motion graphics package, it's going to depend entirely on your needs. Motion, After Effects, and Shake are three very different programs with different feature lists and workflow capabilities. If I had to personally choose, I would go with After Effects over Motion because of its 3d compositing and camera features. I feel like more can be done with AE. What I really like about Motion, though, is how fast things can be accomplished. It feels more like a sandbox, where animations and effects can be quickly drawn up and played back at full speed (with the right hardware). I think AE has tends to have a little more overhead (pre-comping and RAM rendering is a pain).
Shake is a wholly different beast than those other two. I really haven't had an opportunity to use it seriously, but Patrick would know more. From what I've seen it's really good at compositing elements together, creating mattes, doing motion tracking, keying, etc. It's more of a tool for live action footage and/or 3d footage. AE and Motion do a lot of that stuff, too, but also focus on 2d animation and motion graphics.
EDIT: Just wanted to mention that Shake has a steep learning curve. The interface is not the most user friendly.

  • Motion 2.1.2 crashes, quits unexpectedly, seemingly at random

Bear with me, as I am a relatively new Mac owner; however, I did try to first find, and read, all of the existing posts concerning this same topic, beforehand. I thank you in advance your input, and will mark this thread as "solved" or "helped" if we can get this issue resolved.
I have a Quad G5, running 10.4.8 with 2.5 Gb of RAM, and using the GeForce 6600 video card. In the FCP suite of programs, I have had no problems running Final Cut or DVD Studio (can't say I have found a use for Soundtrack Pro yet).
Motion, on the other hand, has crashed a great deal, and with baffling irregularity. It often aborts on loading (I'd say about 1 out of every 5 of 6 tries to open the problem). Sometimes it crashes when I try to create a new project or open an existing one. In order to dedicate my resources to Motion, I have been closing all other programs before launching.
Other times, I have been working in Motion, and it terminates unexpectedly. This has yet to happen when working with text (unlike many others who have posted here about Motion crashing). Also, I am not using any 3rd party filters. Two of the most recent crashes happened after trying to apply the Basic 3D filter to a replicated object. Another crash occurred when I tried to play a 10 second clip I was working on, with the Light Streaks 1.mov in one of the layers.
Following the advice on the motionsmarts site, I have checked the "fixed resolution" flag of each layer as I create them. I have also been keeping the projects at 8-bit Bit Depth.
The following are some of the header entries in the Motion crash log from the most recent abends:

    Quad G5   Mac OS X (10.4.8)   2.5 Gb RAM, nVIDIA GeForce 6600

Finally placed a call with Apple support, and they also recommended trashing my preferences. I tried to do that before, but I was apparently looking in the wrong directory (whoops). The correct library is user -> library -> preferences and then the file is "com.apple.motion.plist", just in case others are looking in the wrong location.
I am going to leave this question as unanswered for now, because I want to work with Motion for a few more days before I mark this as "solved". However, at this time, Motion has not crashed once, and I have been giving it a real workout.
The other recommendation from the tech, in case trashing the preferences doesn't work, was to remove the 2 Gb of RAM I added, and then use Motion for awhile. That will be my next step if Motion acts up any in the next few days of testing.
Some things to keep in mind if you are having the problem with Motion crashing:
    - Trash your preferences and then reboot
    - Try to remove any devices since the program last worked, and try Motion without them. If that works, then re-add those components and test Motion again.
    - Upgrade Motion AND the FCP suite (don't just upgrade Motion by itself).
    - Uninstall any 3rd party filters and test again.
These are just some of the recommendations the tech gave me. Like I've said, it looks like my problem has been resolved, but I'm not counting those chickens just yet. I will post again to this thread if it hasn't crashed in the next 5 -7 days.

  • Resized images and video seam blurred in motion 4...

    Hello,
I don't know if my problem is a bug or a stupid mistake I did, or something basic I haven't understood about motion, but here it is:
I had to edit today a project I created in september 2009 with motion 3. (I installed 2 weeks ago motion 4). The project is made of images and text. When I opened the old project the images looked ok but seamed blurred although the render settings are at best quality.
I then made an experiment and created a new project in Motion 4 and imported one image, and when I put the quality at best, again this image look unfocused. I would probably not have noticed the problem and thought that the problem comes from the image or from the capabilities of motion, if I didn't have that old video done in motion 3 with the exact same images in the exact same size in perfect crisp quality...
I did a research in forums, but haven't found any one with a similar problem. People usually have pixelated images because they didn't put the best render quality...
I then tried to test this on a different computer with motion 4: same problem. I tried all the settings I could find in Motion, but still no result. I trash the preferences, I repaired the permission of my mac, I reinstalled motion 4, tried several images format and size but still no result.
I noticed that the problem occurs when I resize an image or when I resize a video. At 100% I get perfect quality, but when I resize them, they look blurred. Anything that requires a render seam to be a little blurred when the render quality is set to best. It seams like the anti-aliasing is working so well that it blurs everything... If I put the quality at normal settings, the elements that have been resized look sharp but pixelated...
I haven't tried to test all this again in motion 3 because I don't have access to any computer that still have that version installed. And I haven't phoned applecare yet because they are closed right now in my country, but I will phone them tomorrow morning and let you know if I get any result with them.
I really hope I simply forgot something obvious, or maybe there is a new or old setting in motion 4 that I don't know about or haven't understood properly...
    please help me
    Louie
ps: My version of Motion is French, so I might not use the right english words used in the english version of Motion.

    Thanks for responding.
I'm of course sizing my picture down. The project I was working on yesterday that helped me notice the problem is 300x300 pixels and the images are around 500x1000 pixels, scaled down to around 20%.
I haven't notice today that the problem occurs in other project as well. Before I was not looking in detail at the quality, and if no one tells you about it, you won't notice it. But right now all my old projects done in Motion 3, once opened in Motion 4 seam to have that blurry effect on any image or video that is scaled down.
I understand that Motion might maybe not be very good at scale down things, and might do it less perfetly then Photoshop. But what is odd is that all my old video exported when I had Motion 3 have sharp perfect scaled down images comparred to what I get today in Motion 4.
The blur I'm speaking about is very light. You won't notice it easily unless you have an old version of the same video to compare it with. But in the project I was working yesterday at 300x300 pixel, the difference was really very obvious, because at this size every detail counts.
My idea to solve my problem temporarly was to change my Motion project settings to triple its original size (from 300x300 to 900x900) and blow up everthing 300%, export the video at 900x900 and then scale it down through Quicktime instead of Motion at 300x300. This worked and my images are as sharp as they should be. This project is short and light, so I didn't mind doing this conversion, but when I will work with projects that need more render time, it's not a productiv way to work!
I noticed another odd thing about the problem, I hope I will explain this clearly by describing 3 situations:
    1. I create in Motion 4 a new project with any preset.
    2. I import an image or a video
    3. I scale it down, by pulling one corner (=> the image or video becomes blurred)
    4. In the properties inspector I type the word "100" to get it back to 100%
=> the image is still blurred, it is difficult to see, but when I import again the same image and put it next to it you can see a difference althought both image are at 100%!!!
    or
    1. I create in Motion 4 a new project with any preset.
    2. I import an image or a video
    3. I scale it down, by pulling one corner (=> the image or video becomes blurred)
    4. In the properties inspector I click on the arrow in the top right corner of that reverts to the original settings the image or video
    => the image is perfect
    or
    1. I create in Motion 4 a new project with any preset.
    2. I import an image or a video
    3. I scale it down, by typing any number in the properties inspector (=> the image or video becomes blurred)
    4. In the properties inspector I type the word "100" to get it back to 100%
    => the image is perfect
So it seams that my problem occurs even at 100% but only if the image has first been modified in its size by pulling one corner and than put back to 100% through the properties inspector...
    hmmmm
    very odd.

  • How to create creative, unique "motion" typography

    Hello Apple Support Community friends,
Please bear with me, I am new with Motion 5 along with Final Cut Pro X. I would like to learn how to create interesting use of "motion" typography in Motion 5. And how to import the finished Motion project file into Final Cut Pro X.
I plan to put in some unique motion typography in different footages, and combine them in one Final Cut Pro X.
Can anyone help me to point me as to how to do this way? I also would like to import some of Adobe Photoshop files of creative typography files (also which file works best in that case... .TIFF or .PSD)
Please give me some guideline and steps to make it work. Then I will be doing some series of experiements to figure out what works, and what's not.
Any assistance and help would be deeply, deeply appreciated.
    Thanks!
    Brian
P.S. I am trying to find a good handbook on Final Cut Pro X and Motion 5, and some sort of theory and practice... so that I do the right approach, not the wrong approach all the way. BTW, I am Deaf. Thanks once again.

    Bonjour GFXZen,
The easiest way to get your text into FCPX is to start with a blank Final Cut Title in Motion.  Once you save it, it will show up in the Title Browser in Final Cut Pro X. Of course you can utilize text in any of the blank starting files, so don't think you are limited by the blank project names. Like I said this is just a good starting point.
As for the file format question, you can use Photoshop to create images (or text) and then import those into Motion as PSDs or TIFFs. Keeping the images as PSD will give you some advantages, especailly if you expect to go back and make revisions, but if you are creating simple elements, either one will work (I'll let others argue about which is "better".) Layered PSDs are also popular because people use them for basic layout befor animation. Once you've created it you just import it or drag and drop it into Motion.  Then animate.
To give you an example to that of footage I saw on, I believe on vimeo the other night. It is very intriuging and interesting, indeed. Very simplicity and efficacy. I really enjoyed them. I love the use of typography with motion matching done in it. Hopefully that you understand what I am saying. I have over 700 footages of my recent European vacation, both by land and sailing on cruise from Spain to Italy on a 12-days vacation. Of course, I don't plan to include all of these 700 clippings into one large project inside Final Cut Pro X and/or Motion 5. Definitely would like to do lot of interesting experiments with interesting use of typography along with motion matching.
Example of what I really like and enjoyed this one:
    Live The Language in London
    http://vimeo.com/18967093
I like anything that is simplicity with ease. Always like things simple with specific message come across at all once.
-Any Motion 4 tutorials you can find (Google is your friend).  Motion 5 builds on the previous version, the UI is different but you should be able to apply any techniques in older tutorials to Motion 5.
I didn't say I have Motion 4, I have Motion 5. I don't really think anything that made in Motion 4 into Motion 5 are doable, attainable and workable nor editable. I prefer to focus on Motion 5. I get this impression that any legacy files edited in Final Cut Pro Studio, for example, won't work in Final Cut Pro X. Therefore, I assume that it applies the same issue with any legacy Motion 4 files into Motion 5. Or am I misaken just about Motion 4 vs Motion 5. Of course GUI interface between Motion 4 and 5, it is totally different engine. Totally different between Final Cut Pro X vs legacy Final Cut Pro Studio.
As for Google, I did some research, and wasn't sure where to start with. Because there isn't much of anything related to Motion 5. All I see mostly related to Adobe Effects and some with Apple Motion 4, so forth. I also own Adobe Creative Suite CS5.5 Master Collection (upgraded to Master Collection from CS5 Design Premium as I own Design Premium for years). I used to do some creative stuff with Adobe Flash (at the time, it was formerly Macromedia long before Adobe acquired formerly Macromedia).
Mark Spencer is a well respected trainer and he's got plenty of free and paid tutorial, look at some of the MacBreak videos, I know he's covered Typography tricks there.
As for Mark Spencer and Apple Motion website, I see that was included in Apple resource, I believe. The problem is that all of his educational trainings and materials are not closed captioned. I don't see much of Motion 5-related topics. I suspect that he would develop some new educational trianing related to Motion 5 and Final Cut Pro X, and some cases with Adobe Premiere CS5.5 and After Effects CS5.5.
As for term of expermiments, I love to do lot of experiments with my photography stuff. This also includes experiments with all kinds of fine arts paper outputs and all. So, I am not afarid to experiement new stuff with Final Cut Pro X and Motion 5.
In closing, you mentioned understanding the fundamentals is especially very true. Thank you for your help and assistance. I would love to have others' perspective and insights.
    Have an amazing summer day!

  • Motion 5 Not Launching Correctly

Purchased, for the first time, FCPx, Compressor 4 and Motion 5 from the Mac App Store. Both FCPx and Compressor launches and works fine. Motion worked upon the first initial launch after installation. Every subsequent launch of Motion comes up with the menus. Project Browser sometimes, but not always, displays. Most options in the menu drop-downs (things like New... and Preferences) and buttons in the Project Browser (you have to leave the app and then return to it to have the Project Browser appear) do not work. Even the buttons located on the Splash Screen (Apple Menu...About Motion) do not work. I have deleted the user preferences: com.apple.motionapp.plist I have also uninstalled, re-downloaded and reinstalled Motion from the Mac App Store. Any assistance in getting this program working, will be greatly appreciated.
No previous versions of Final Cut (anything). Updated to OSX 10.6.8. Machine info: Mac Pro 2,1 8-core 3GHz, 8GB RAM, 1900XT and 7300GT

    This issue has been resolved.
It seems there was an issue with the System and not the Application or User space.  I tried to restore 10.6.7 (with M5, FCPX and C4) installed.  (I installed these apps prior to 10.6.8.)  This resulted in kernel panics after restores from different dates and OS numbers.
Re-installed SL on a clean partition and updated to 10.6.8 with the Combo download.  Ran Software Update once. Restarted to verify the system was working properly and then used Migration Assistant to restore the Apps and Users from TM.  Everything in these spaces restored except for Motion.  (It was not in the Application Folder in TM but the Application Support and User prefs were.)  I copied Motion from the 10.6.7 version of the TM backup to the now clean and fully migrated OS.  Motion works now as expected.  I don't know what was going on with this but am happy to report this resolution.  (I really don't want to go digging through Console to find out what really was causing this.)

  • Use Flash MX or Motion for animation to FCP 4.5?

I'm writing a one-man performance piece for myself, consisting of spoken words, text display of phone conversation audios, songs and instrumental music, video sometimes with stills, and in particular one song (4 minutes) right now that I need to do animation with. The animation will consist of stills of a dancer (me, such as I dance) in movement composited over both video and stills backgrounds.
I'm just going through the tutorials in a book I got for Motion 1, Getting Started with Motion by Mary plummer - very good. I have Flash MX, and searching the archives it appears that at least one version of Flash can export a QT compatible movie to import into FCP. In what I've read so far about Motion 1 it seems to be primarily for 8-10 second animations. Will Flash, the MX version, be better? Or Motion 1?
I haven't learned Flash at all and I'm under deadline pressure. My final output is to DVD Studio Pro 3 to DVD with which I'll interact for the performance. If Motion 1 can hack it, I'd rather stay with it, but I don't know.
    Gracias.

    G4 800 (2002)   Mac OS X (10.3.9)   1.5 GB RAM, FCP 4.5, DVDSP3, Motion 1, Finale, Digital Performer, MOTU 896HD

I haven't learned Flash at all and I'm under deadline
    pressure.
When the deadline is tight, go with what you know. In my experience and professional opinion, using Flash is a better and more efficient way to create animations for use in video.
But you need to be a pretty sophisticated Flash authorer before you can start creating those animations in a manner that will actually work out for you to import into video. Flash is a very difficult program to learn, at least initially.
If you understand Motion, and you can do what you need to do in Motion, then do it in Motion.
If Motion wants you to work in short clips, then that's OK. you are going to edit them together in FCP anyway, so transitions will be seamless. There's lots of good logistic and project management reasons to chop up your program into modules anyway.
I've done lots and lots of animations in Flash, both for web and video. I love working in the Flash environment.
I've also spent a good chunk fo the past 30 years doing various kinds of media production work, especially video.
So I repeat to you my initial advice, when the deadline is tight, go with what you know. If you know Motion, then use Motion.
    Good luck

  • Nervous About The ATI X1900

I have a X1900 on backorder-should ship any day now. Having some time with my new Mac Pro and reading up on the X1900 makes me very nervous about glitches, bad drivers and heat issues. Are these problems being blown out of proportion or should I be looking for a different card?
The 3D rendering on this thing is amazingly fast, but I'm also concerned about Motion gaining any real speed from this card. I also enjoy intense 3D gaming as well-soon to include Windows games via Bootcamp.
What other cards are available for the Mac Pros? Can't just be the three Apple has on their site. Thanks.

Sorry if what I posted earlier about a rev2 card turns out to not be the case, but it seems that there is some confusion among the people who have been talking with AppleCare. Some seem to have come away with the idea that there was just a bad "batch" of 1900xt's and others seem to have heard about a "v2".
It seems there are 2 different manufacturer's numbers, but the ROM # of the cards is the same...
    Here's the link:
    http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/thread.html?topicId=94000596&sid=1&pageNo=7
Regardless of how they are differentiating between the cards, the fact that apple is shipping out replacements speaks volumes..
I can't be sure, based on this WOW forum thread, what exactly is going on, but if I end up using Apple Care myself I will be sure to report back.

  • Motion Short Cuts

I am new to Motion and getting a pretty good handle on it, but I could work more efficiently if I knew some short-cuts.
For example when I have a clip selected can I toggle back and forth from it's in and out points. In FCP I use Shift-I or O to do this, there must be a way in Motion?
Can you hit a magic "all keyframe" button? Sometimes I want to set a keyframe in multiple places and I have jumping from clip to clip, tab to tab to locate where I need to select a keyframe.
Last After you select record why doesn't Motion set a keyframe at the timeline marker? After I select record I still have to select all my keyframes I want to start with and move the timeline marker to my destination then make my move. If I don't set keyframes first the entire clip moves and doesn't stay put from my in point.
I hope I can get some help and everybody understands what I am talking about. These are a few issues that annoy me about Motion. If I could work this out I would be so happy!

Shift-I will jump the playhead to the In point of the selected layer, effect, or group; Shift-O to the Out point. Shift-[ will move the In point to the playhead; Shift-] will move the Out point. These are all listed in the menus. I and O will trim In and Out points. Etc, Etc.

  • Can motion do this?

    Hi,
I dont know much about Motion (I am a photgrapher) but before investing time and money in Motion, I would like to know how/if it can be used for still images.
    So my questions are:
    - how well do is work with stills?
    - are they any fx to make blood splashes like in 300 (the movie)?
    - are they any fx to make gun blaze?
I have tried in PS to do these effects but I think it would be easier in Motion.
Oh and if you wonder what I am trying to achieve, it is basicaly a small video clip shot with a MarkIII camera (10fps) involving a lot of blood and guns

    Alain,
how well do is work with stills?
Motion works fine with stills, what do you want to do as there are other ways of doing slideshows
are they any fx to make blood splashes like in 300 (the movie)?
You might have to make those yourself although you can do the compositing within Motion
are they any fx to make gun blaze?
There are numerous particle effects and media items within motion that could be used for gunfire, explosions etc.

  • Slow-Motion Examples

    Hi there.
Does anyone know a place where I can find video examples of Motion 3's use of optical flow slow motion other than the FCS2 website?
I'd also be curious to hear anyone's experience with slow motion on Motion 3. The example on the website looks better, but it still doesn't look great. I'm trying to figure out whether it's just because that footage is zoomed in, or if the optical flow technology just isn't that good.
I really don't want to invest in Twixtor at the moment so I'm hoping to hear good stories about the program.
    Thanks.

I've used Motion's optical flow and it was excellent. But YOU asked if I had anything posted or knew of any posted examples online and I don't.
The great thing about Motion's optical flow is that you can dynamically play with the timing once the analysis has taken place. However as has been mentioned, it can create HUGE analysis files - this is to allow dynamic retiming - that are EIGHT BYTES PER PIXEL. So - 1920x1080x30x8 = about half a GIGABYTE per second for 1080i HD material.
Because Motion also allows you to dynamically add to and move your clips around and speeding something up makes it chew thru more frames, it analyzes the entire clip, SO - the best way to handle this is to reduce the clip length to the maximum you'll be using by exporting a self contained quicktime from FCP and sending that to motion for optical flow retiming.

  • Motion control: PXI 7350 controller and UMI 7774 to interface with third-party driver UDK5114NW2

    Dear community,
This is about Motion control in Labview: I try to control a step motor by using a PXI 7350 controller and UMI 7774 to interface with  third-party driver UDK5114NW2. The problem is 5 Disable LEDS on UMI 7774 board always lit even when I check "enable" on "Motion I/O setting" in configuration of PXI 7350 motion controller. Furthermore, when I start to control step motor, it is not working and I found disable LED on UMI board still lit. I don't know how to solve this problem. Can someone help me to figure out? Thank you in advance!
    Hau Nguyen.

    Dear Community,
I said wrong, 4 disable LEDS on UMI 7774 Board instead of 5 as my previous post. Why nobody help me to solve this problem. I can not turn off disable LEDs on UMI 7774 Board so I can not start the strp motor. Please help me!
