About the delete of joined view
if create a view refering to a single table, then the delete operation to the view will delete the corresponding row in the refered table, but when i create a view by joining two tables, the result seems to be confused.
create view ev select e.ename,d.loc from emp e,dept d where e.deptno=d.deptno;
delete from ev where loc like 'N%';
then 3 row was deleted from the view with 3 rows deleted in the emp table, but nothing happened in the table dept which supposed to be also delete;
Why, or is these any principles dealing with the deleting this kinds of view. and I tried, the insert of this view is forbidden.

Sorry, according to who exactly? According to your opinion of how this ought to work without actually reading the documentation?
DELETE from a join view requires that the view contains one (and only one) key-preserved table and that is the table that is DELETEd from.
If you wanted to modify this behaviour (e.g. to DELETE from both tables) you could consider using an INSTEAD-OF trigger.

Really simple Mac Mail question about the Delete button
When at a message, the Edit menu shows Command+Delete as being the proper keystroke for deleting a message.
Just pressing Delete also removes it from the Inbox.
What is different between that and Command+Delete?

I don't have a very good answer to you other than the fact that the Macbook does not have a proper DELETE-button. You delete by pressing cmd/backspace.
If you want to delete something through Finder you have to press cmd/backspace. In orher programs, like Mail, you can delete by pressing only backspace. In iPhoto you can delete pictures by presing backspace and conform with return.
The reason for these different solutins are not known to me...

Does SAP scripting engine expose any API by which we get the text in a GuiCtrlHTMLViewer. The GuiCtrlHTMLViewer seems to be extending GuiShell object which is supposed to return Classid for the .Text property. What do the AccText/AccTextOnRequest property return? If you are talking about the Deleted Items folder in an Outlook client, you probably should ask in the
Microsoft Office Community Forums.
Otherwise, I'd probably ask in the
Outlook.com forum on Microsoft Community.
In both cases, however, you should be able to right click the Deleted Items folder and select "Empty Folder"

I convinced my wife to switch o Mac. She usually uses the MS Office 2004. Now she is in disspear cause she cant find the delete button. Im not talking about the backspace button, I'm talking about the delete button. Is there a way to emulate the delete button somehow on the macbook?

If all what you want is to view the data, you can use the Flashback's as of query which would enable you to go back either by SCN or by Timestamp. If you want to restore those rows back in the time( and losing the changes that has happened in that time ), you can use the Flashback Table option. An example of this is given below,

I just downloaded the 8.1 version. It was a 30+mb file. Previously I ran 4.0. So I drag the new Firefox icon into the Apps folder. It does its merge thing with the old version. Problem is when I click to open FF now, it always throws up this window asking me about the disk image of what I just downloaded. I even tried restarting the computer--but the same message pops up. I checked on your website and it says that I need to "eject" the disk image (i.e. I'm guessing that means the 30+ mb file I just down loaded), so since I don't have an eject option that I can find (except for external harddrives and cd/dvd), I just drug it into the trash. I go to empty the trash and I get a message that that dmg file is "in use" even though FF is completely shut down. So again I'm guessing that means that even though I already merged that dmg file with the old 4.0 version file, if I dump the update file it seems that it's going to mess up the actual revised program file still remaining. I just want to be able to click on the icon in my dock like I've always done and have FF open. I don't want to keep being asked about disk image stuff. Somehow this feels like an easy resolution, but I just can't seem to put my finger on how to resolve it. Thanks for you help.
Nope---didn't work. I've owned Macs for about 12 years so although I am brain dead on some things, I do have a working knowledge on most things. I only say that to say this--I did try holding down the mouse and choosing empty trash. It asks if I want to permanently delete what's in there. I say yes--and then I get the same identical message again-----'The operation can't be completed because the item "Firefox 8.0.1.dmg" is in use I can then click stop, or continue.' So apparently that complains the same way it does if I click it up on the menu :)))
As for item owned by---that's not an issue and isn't coming up. User is not a problem either as I am the only user on this system. There is only ONE file in my trash at the moment at that is this dmg file. Nothing Mac. Nothing owned by anyone other than Firefox. The problem seems to be that the dmg file and the original 4.0 FF file are working in tandem with each other--even though I have already drug the new 8.0 globe into the Apps folder and it updated the FF app with the new stuff. If I could force the dmg file to go away, I would do so, but at every turn the system is telling me it can't be done because it seems to think that dmg file is in use---even though everything is shut down and/or ejected. Hey--I'm getting ready to head out and won't be back till evening. I'll check back in this evening. Thank you again for your help. -
I have a few failed downloads in the 'downloads' section on iTunes. It won't let me download any other video and it keeps asking me to 'tap to retry' I don't really care about the money lost but can anyone tell me if I can delete them from my iPod? Thanks x

About a month ago a song randomly appeared in my songs list and when I tried swiping to the left to delete the song it wouldn't slide over to show the delete button. The delete slide appears with all of my other songs except that one. The ICloud songs are turned off and it wasn't iTunes Radio. 2 more songs like this have appeared and I can't delete them from both my iPhone or my computer (they don't even show up on my computer). You cannot delete the account from the server (partly to prevent the username from becoming available again and some-one else using it to pretend to be you).. Having disengaged your devices from it, go to http://icloud.com and delete any data in there such as contacts and calendars. Then just ignore it.

How to Create/Modify/Delete a query view from the web template in BI 7.0
All:
In BW 3.5, the <b>Query Selection View</b> web item was introduced for users to create a query view to save the navigational state of a query. This web item was also available to modify and delete an existing query view.
The Query Selection View web item <u>does not</u> exist in BI 7.0. I see the drop down web item can be used to display the query views associated to a query.
Can anyone share how to create,modify,save or delete a <b>query view</b> on the web in BI 7.0

KumarSanjay, we experienced the same issue. Below are a few pieces of information that may be of help: 1-The Save As button on the 0ANALYZER template saves the query to the portal. From Bex Web or Bex Analyzer, you have no access to these saved views. We created a ZANALYZER copy of the 0ANALYZER template and removed the Save As button. 2- If you right mouse click on any item in the query results grid of Bex Web, you get a small menu. Clicking on the menu item Save View will save the view to BI. You do not have the ability to delete the saved views from Bex Web. However, you can delete them from Bex Analyzer. This was not an option for us since most of our users are using Bex Web. 3- On the same menu, clicking on Bookmark, saves the navigation and also opens the Internet Explorer Favorites maintence window. The navigation is saved as an entry into the users Internet Explorer favorites where they can organize and delete their entries. However, deleting the favorite does not delete the entry for the bookmark in BI. The bookmarks are stored in table RSWR_DATA. Program RSWR_BOOKMARK_REORG can be used to manage the saved bookmarks. We are loading RSWR_DATA into a chracteristic so that we can query the information in order to help us manage it. I hope this helps you and others that appear to be struggling with the issue of saved views in Bex Web.

Hi Larry. I see. It is a file I have worked on previously, and the font is Myriad which I though came with the system. I just changed to Myriad Pro and the pink box disappeared. Thanks for the assistance, I know a new thing!
