About the script of restart sap server

Hi expert,now i want to restart the sap server using window's schedule to execute a script, not using sap's mmc.pls tell me how to do. thanks

just create a batch file with the stopsap, startsap commands on it and schedule using windows scheduler.

  • Running the Scripts of Essbase in Server rather than in Client

    Hi,
    We have Scripts which run for different Loads like INK/TONER/FAST etc. The Essbase Version we use is 11.1.2.2.
    The content of the Scripts are as below.
    INK.cmd

    To run the above Script the User will install the Essbase Client in his PC and startEsscmd.cmd is executed as they will map the Folder to their PC using U Drive Version. This  folder exists in Server.
    Now the requirement is to change the Script running with User depending on Essbase Client. We need change the Script to run in Server itself when  the users runs the script.
    I want to execute this StartEsscmd.bat with the one available in Server as the below one
    call F:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\EssbaseServer\essbaseserver1\bin\startEsscmd.bat U:\FAST\sub\sub\Ink_Assumpt_Extract.cmd . Rather than users installing Client.
    Is this how we can make the script to run in Server itself. Or any other process. Please help on this.

    Hello Experts,
    These batch scripts are dependent on Informatica Environment as well. Once all the Essbase batch files runs there will be data files in DAT Folder and using the timestamp of current month these data files will be send to Informatica Env and there one Job runs which will convert all the .OUT files into a .DAT file and load into DB. Its the Process.
    Now we cant change the entire process but need to get rid of Essbase Client dependency.
    All i want to know is if we change the path of the files from
    call C:\Hyperion\products\Essbase\EssbaseClient\bin\startEsscmd.bat
    to
    call F:\Oracle\Middleware\user_projects\epmsystem1\EssbaseServer\essbaseserver1\bin\startEsscmd.bat
    or
    call %ARBORTPATH%\bin\startEsscmd.bat
    will the files runs in server side. I tried with this but getting an error saying
    System cannot find the path specified. Please help.

    i want to fetch a logo/image from the application layer/ sap server, so that everyone can use it in adobe form. i have already upload the image using SE78.
    I try to add the image into library, it works. But the problem is that, only from my login i can access that image, other can't. I want that image to be shared by everybudy like we use in smartform.
    But i want to fetch that image from SAP server/application layer.
    plzz help me out...
    and tell me the steps for fetching the image from sap server/application layer into the adobe form layout.

  • Explication about the Delta process in SAP BI - ROCANCEL and 0RECORDMODE

    Hello,
    I use the delta process with cockpit datasources (2LIS_17_I3HDR and 2LIS_17_I0NOTIF).
    I have transfered all data from the extraction queue to the BW queue.
    After, when I will launch the delta process in SAP BI (with the infopackage), two ODS will be updated. I wanted to know how SAP will know what is really the delta? I have seen that there is a ROCANCEL field in the PSA, how does SAP choose the good row? Does-it recognize the ROCANCEL and so replace the row ROCANCELED with the new one? Have we to do a special manipulation (like a mapping of ROCANCEL with 0RECORDMODE?)?
    Can you explain me a little how does SAP work (ROCANCEL values, 0RECORDMODE, etc. and what I have to do? ).

    if u go throu debugging mode to the print program for the correponding script u will find this stucture will flow with values
    pass the same to the script.
    say for example.
    RLVSDR40 is the standard print prog for this example
    RLDRI is a struc where in we get TANUM ( transfer order no)
    but when u go in debgg mode u will get the struc as XRLDRI in RLVSDR40.
    so pass from the zprogram XRLDRI-TANUM to script.
    u can able to print the values u require .
    same logic try in urs.
    try it it is possible.

    Hi All,
    Scenario1 (Ports are enabled from client system): Client m/c is in different location and SAP AutoId Server is in different location. I have to connect the RFID reader and device controller to Client m/c to send the PML message to Server system. Is it possible?
    (Or) Do we need to connect the RFID Hardwares directly to the SAP Auto Id server?
    Scenario2 : I have to connect the server system through VPN, in this case If I connect the RFID hardwares to client system. Is it fine?

    Hi Stellare,
         I fully agree with Daniela Bork. You've installed 5.2 and you need some preliminary data load like rules, messages etc. as per the installation & config guide. By doing so you're loading standard risks(Global) will be created in the system. This value if you want to check at table level this should be at your DB attached to the Java stack.
       ABAP stack tables are /virsa.... and virsa_cc are java stack tables.  It depends on which version of GRC you're using.

    IF you have Tcode, soto SE93 and Identify the program name for that tcode. Once program name is identified.
    GOTO se38, give program name and select radiobutton documentation and click display... go through the documentation if you have any standard form(sap script/smartform) it will be written there.

    It is recommended to keep NWDI always on the highest SP level. But it is also possible to have an NW 04 JDI for NW2004s developments inside the tracks.
