About user sapsys

Dear expert,
I read some message about user sapsys. However, i still could not understand the concept or running mechanism.
please give me a clear explanation. where can i find this user ? why was there such user sapsys in sm50?.

Sapsys is used for internal purpose in SAP server and is not harmful. But if it increases it can be logged off as well. But in many cases sapsys is used for OS jobs, CCMS monitoring hence it may impact if not handled carefully
SAPSYS is a group. It's used for DEV - QA - PRD to share files (especially /usr/sap/trans), for <SID>adm and ora<SID> to talk to each other and share files also.
SAPSYS is a user group name in sap os .SAPSYS is an internal communication user, which access the tables from the dictionary and give access to the users.

Hi
I have a lot of abap dumps in ST22 RFC_NO_AUTHORITY error for user SAPSYS in client 000 for today which I'm not sure what they mean. I don't have a SAPSYS user in client 000.
The reason that I'm concerend is we had an incident with the SAP server last night where it became unresponsive about 2.30 am and had to be manually rebooted this morning. The R3 jobs all ran OK but the BW loads failed and had to be re-run this morning. There were no unusual jobs or programs running last night and the Server Event Log does not contain any further information as to the probable cause of the problem.
I'm not sure if this error is related to the BW jobs running and was wondering did anyone come accross it and what it means.

Also

what is the diff between these two alerts and what is the reason for getting this.

But I am not able to find the answer for my case.
What I understod from the post is:
for using LDAP authentication for ciscopca, we will have to import users
from LDAP integration.
For me I do not care ( I just need to login, whether I used CUCM passwords , AD or Local I jsut need to login in any method )
but the actual scenrio is both CUCM nad CUC are integrated with LDAP and I IMPORT USERS FROM LDAP. I belive that I have problem with authintication throw LDAP ( I am not sure)
Is there any way to login using Local Passwords I do not need LDAP.
and what I should tupe to login shall I add the domain to username or no? In unity there is a feiled to enter the domain, what about Connection??

EWA Configuration... DUMPS... user SAPSYS

Hi,
I have setup the EWA report to my sandbox. Report is generating fine. I did all the setup from my own user which has S_RFC, S_RFCACL, & S_TCODE Objects. I have SAP_ALL Authorization. Everything is working fine. sandbox is generating early watch reports fine. But the problem is I am getting DUMPS in my Sandbox everyhour in 33 mins... and its dumping sooo many times. I had 147 dumps yesterday. Here is the Dump Log (ST22)
User "SAPSYS" has no RFC authorization for function group "SCUST_SYS_INFO ".
What happened?
The user "SAPSYS" attempted to execute a function module from
the function group "SCUST_SYS_INFO ", but does not have the appropriate
RFC authorization.
Error in ABAP application program.
The current ABAP program "SAPLSCUST_SYS_INFO" had to be terminated because one
of the
statements could not be executed.
This is probably due to an error in the ABAP program.
What can you do?
The user "SAPSYS" has no RFC authorization for the function group
"SCUST_SYS_INFO ". Please contact your system administrator to give you
the RFC authorization for the required function groups (e.g. "SCUST_SYS_INFO
The RFC authorization object is S_RFC.
If the problem persists, proceed as follows:
Print out the error message (using the "Print" function)
and make a note of the actions and input that caused the
error.
Now i dont understand that from where this user came up SAPSYS in client 000... and we dont use client 000. strickly not allowed. I didnt use this user when generating RFS's.... Everything I did using my own user.
Please help ASAP. it is very critical...

In Solman: SM_XXXCLNTXXX_READ- user: Blank
                 SM_XXXCLNTXXX_TMW - user: Blank
                 SM_XXXCLNTXXX_TRUSTED - user: RFC-it has all the other rfc permissions as well as the you've provided me.
In CRM:    SM_XXXCLNTXXX_BACK - user: SOLMANXXX
                SM_XXXCLNTXXX_TRUSTED- user: checked on Current user
Please currect me if I am wrong. I think In solution manager, the user for xxxREAD should be SOLMANSMP001 which is standard under my other system when I go to sm59..
and for XXX_TMW, I should have user: SOLTMWSMP001...
Please correct me If I am wrong.

I need to know more infor about users in oracle 11g.
1.How to check when user last time login to database.
2.If user account is lock why it is locked? if it is locked by trying to loing with wrong password how to check how many times he attempted with wrong password...and other reasons also
3.Wheni was trying to select user expire date it is showing empty value...can we check expire date through querys or we need to check profile?
4.How to check when he was reset his password last time.

Questions about user-defined functions

Hello all,
I've got some questions about user-defined function in a message mapping:
1) How can I get the current date/time in format yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss ? What is the java code for this?
2) I want to use the StreamTransformation constant TIME_SENT, only this is not in the right time-zone.
It is GMT and it should be CET (1 hour difference). How can I convert this in Java?
Can somebody help me with this?

Know about user activity

Hello,
We have the need of knowing the following data about users:
1.- How many time is the user conected every day.
2.- Which days do users connect.
We have tried with the audit, sm19, but the information we need is not there.
I know with STAT/STAD transaction we can seethese data, but it will be a lot of daily work and we cannot aim that time.
Do you know any other way to do it? Something like some tables to extract the data and make a report?

You can query table USR02 which contains informations about user, last logon date (TRDAT) and last logon time (LTIME), but the duration is not stored.
Also, report RSUSR200 can record the users logon date and time.

A question about users assigned roles extraction

Dear all,
I have a question about users assigned roles list extraction. I need the list of the users who have already been created along with their assigned roles. According to what I found on Google, there is a table named AGR_USERS which provides the roles assigned to each user. Yet, this table provides only the SAP ID of each user along with the assigned roles. What I need more is to have also the first name and second name of each user.
So, do you know any table providing at least the following information:
1) First name of each user
2) Second name of each user
3) SAP ID of each user
4) All assigned roles to each user.
NOTE: I really need to have first name and second name in separate columns

I don't know anything about ABAP programming, is there any transaction allowing to create this join? As it seems to me the column "UNAME" in the table "AGR_USERS" and the column "BNAME" in the table "USER_ADDR", both refer to the SAP ID of the user. As a result the condition of the join would be "WHERE (UNAME = BNAME)", is there any transaction/programme allowing to create this join?

Welcome to SDN,
Userxits allow us to add our own functionality to SAP standard program
without modifying it . These are implemented in the form of subroutines and hence are also known as FORM EXITs. The userexits are generally collected in includes and attached to the standard program by the SAP.
User exits are used when the flow for a particular transaction has to take some other route other then the normal flow. this can be the case when you have to attach some additional functionality lik u need a customised screen, or new functionality (using a functional module). based on these things user exits can be classified as screen exits, function module exits, field exits( not used anymore). hope this gives some help on userexits.
The naming standard of function modules for functionmodule exits is:
EXIT_<program name><3 digit suffix>
The call to a functionmodule exit is implemented as:
CALL CUSTOMER.-FUNCTION <3 digit suffix>
To find a Exit.
Goto Transaction -- Find The Package
SMOD >f4>Use the Package here to Find the Exits In the Package.
Else if you Want to search by Application Area wise ,
There is one more tab to find the Exits in the Respective Application Area.
Implementing the Exit-- CMOD Create ProjectsAssgn your Component .
Now Run ur Transaction to Check if it Triggers.

You can try signing out and signing back in. You can also go into Settings > Safari and Clear all Cookies. You can even try logging into the iTunes Store on a computer and downloading a free app or something.
If none of those work, then you will have to wait for the issue to be resolved on Apple's end.
