Im from singapore i brought a Blackberry 8820 under singtel but was told to apply or get my warranty on the blackberry site
How do i apply need help asap

Typically, warranty is provided by the carrier -- SingTel should be providing you with your warranty and support. I've not heard of what they are telling you to do. I suggest contacting them back for either clarification or more precise instructions as to what they want you to do.

    Anyway, if you need repair contact Toshiba service provider in Germany.

  • About warranty for Playbook

    Hi there,  I just happen to find out that I need to purchase a warranty in order to have my Playbook serviced.  Now, I contacted Office Depot, where I purchased the tablet over 3 months ago, come to find out I have to get an extended warranty in order to get my Playbook serviced.  It has been heating up while I browse the web after 10 minutes.   Therefore,  Office Depot does have a warranty to cover the problem.  Right now, I cannot afford to get a warranty because of cost.   Oh, I happen to find out it takes over a week for a box to arrive by mail, so that I can mail my Playbook in to get it serviced.  Hence, probably over a 3 week period before I even have my Playbook back in my hands.  So, I'll just  continue to  browse the web  quickly.   Everything else works fine with my Playbook, so that's a good thing(as I cross my fingers!)

  • Extended warranty for DV6 motherboard?

    I bought a DV6 laptop for my daughter a little over a year ago, and about 2 months after the 1 yr warranty expired she started noticing a lot of heat on the bottom of her laptop.  I helped her clear out the dust in the fan area and made sure she was using a separate lap-pad with a fan.  We couldn't seem to cool it down much and then the display started having problems, and now she just gets a single flash on near the caps lock key.  Which I think means a processor or motherboard failure.  I've done a lot of checking around and have seen some mention that HP has an extended 2 yr warranty for this problem.  Does anyone know if that is true and if so?

    I just recieved a refurbished S100 and it came with a one year warranty.

  • HT1349 5W power adapter, warranty for accessories purchases seperately

    I purchased the Apple 5w power adapter from Target in Jan 2013.  The device stopped charging my sons Ipod.  It is not the outlet, cable or the Ipod as they charge with the power adapter for my Iphone.  equally my iphone can not charge with the defective power adapter.  How does one go about getting warranty access for the 1 year as this item is defective.  Apple store isn't that close and online/support doesn't bring up anything for accessories or when searching by the SN of the item.
    I am putting this in the iphone 4s community as there isn't a selection for power adapters or accessories in general. 

    While the items you buy separately have a 1 year warranty on them, I have found that my local Apple store seems to ignore teh purchase of the separate item, and includes them under the iPhone warranty.  When I bought my iPhone, I got just the iPhone, then 3 months later we bought my wife's iPhone.  About a month after that, I ordered 3 extra Lightning cables and a couple of the microUSB adapters.  I have tried to get the lightning cables replaced under their separate warranty, but the APple Store keeps refusing to consider the cable purchse date and only looks at the purchse date of the iPhone itself.  In about 3 weeks, my iPhone will be a year old, but my cables should still have warranty for 4 more months.  I highly doubt that the clerks at the store will honour that since the iPhone itself will be over  a year old...

  • Could I get an extended warranty for my iMac..?

    My iMac has been constantly freezing and my dad just got it fixed for $500 about a month ago. Our 1 year warranty from the purchase date is over cause it's been about 2 years now since we bought it. Everytime it freezes I gotta put the "install DVD" in and repair the disk, than it works but freezes a couple hours later. I'm so sick of this, how could I get a warranty for this because I can't pay 500 bucks everytime this thing crashes.... I read about the AppleCare and it only says it extends 3 years from purchase date, so would that mean I have only one year left till the warranty is over..? thanks

    You can't buy AppleCare. You have to buy it before the end of the first one year warranty.

  • No Extended warranty for HP printers in Canada!

    I contacted HP to purchase an extended warranty for a newly purchased printer, since we do not have a long warranty on HP A-I-O products. I was ready to spend money on purchasing a 3 year extended warranty, but to my surprise, it is not available outside the USA.
    I spent $299 on a L7780 printer under 3 years ago, that is now a pile of scrap, and purchased another C410a for $150, and was ready to buy the warranty online.
    I wondered if I would have to purchase in the USA, and set the location to the USA in my registration, since I am 15 minutes from the border.
    However, I would like to know if anyone else in Canada finds this a problem, and would like to get involved in a class-action suit to get the CARE PACK SERVICES forced to be introduced in Canada as well, since for a couple of dollars, it would mean having a 3 year warranty available to us, instead of losing out in a year.

    I want to buy extended warranty for Satellite A300-15C (1+1 standard warranty) so I wanna ask which warranty package gives the longest protection for this model.
    2+2 is the longest? ID: SE5054I-PDB.
    Secondly, and more importantly, the laptop is more than 1 year old. When i was buying it, in retail store they told me that the extended warranty can be activated at any time, but now I see that there is this 30 days deadline policy. Is there any way how to overcome?

    You must understand that this forum is user-to-user forum and what you need is expert advice. So I recommend you to contact nearest Toshiba authorized service provider and order best extended warranty option.
    At first you can visit Toshiba support page and pick up some info about warranty options.

For eg..I sell a equipment to a customer with 1 year warranty say from 01.01.2008 to 01.01.2009.After this period Customer wants to extend the warranty period for 1 more year.So,How we can capture this extended warranty?     You need confirmation directly from Apple about your concerns.  Call the tech support center that handles your country Malaysia if there is none in Malaysia.

  • Warranty for broken hold switch?

    A friend of mine (I'm stuck with a 3G 20GB iPod!) has a 1st gen. 4GB Nano that is experiencing problems. The hold switch doesn't work all of the time, i.e. sometimes you move the switch and it will 'unlock' the Nano, and sometimes it won't.
    It seems like a physical problem, maybe a bad solder joint or something similar to that. The Nano exhibits no signs of external damage or dropping. It's still under the original 1-year warranty, if she sends it back will she have to pay for the repair? I've never used the Service Depot so I don't know how it works. If it was a broken screen clearly caused by impact, I would expect to have to pay, but with something like this I'm not sure what the deal is.
    Anyone have experience they could share? Thanks!

    Note that AppleCare (eg extended "warranty") is ~$10 less than a refurb shuffle from the online Apple Store (Apple Store charges ~$5 shipping + tax where applicable)...
    I didn't get AppleCare for mine which is now about 2 weeks older than one year, figuring that IF it croaks I can replace it with one of the colored refurbs.

    Sorry to hear about the recent errors and issues with the Officejet 7500a. This printer would have one year manufacturers warranty for both the printer and printhead from the date of purchase, if it was not purchased as an open box unit.
    I can not speak on why you have been told the warranty exchange was denied due a door problem, but I would like to offer a few troubleshooting suggestions.
    Please try the steps in the following support guide, 'Ink System Failure' or a '0x ...' Error Message Displays on the Control Panel. I hope this helps. If not, please try contacting HP's Technical Support again to see about possible in warranty replacement options.
