AC 10 Evaluation - Request Screens & Emails

Hi Everybody
as part of an evaluation on AC10 the following two questions came up. The two areas are currently a problem with 5.3. and the question is if AC10 can solve the issues?
So here we come:
1) System-specific request screens:
I am aware that AC10 provides more flexibility on request screens.
The scenario is, that users are provisioned to many systems, and some systems require more or less fields than other systems. Can request screens be created for specific systems, and depending on the selected system, the "system-specific" fields appear? E.g. for the BW System only firstname, lastname, username, email is required... but for the ECC System a lot more fields...
2) Email after auto-provisioning:
In general, after auto provisioning is done, the email is sent to the user. This is how it is configured in 5.3. and it works. However, for one specific system, there is an additional field maintained by the security team before the user can actually log on to the system. Therefore, the auto-provisioning email is not really helpful, since the user is informed too early.
Is there a way to configure AC 10 in the way, that the auto-provisioning email is only send for certain systems?

HI,
Your both issues are resolved in GRC AC10.0.
You can maintain the EUP ID system/connector specific in GRC AC 10.0 by going to SPROIMG> GRC-->Access Control --> User Provisioning --> End user Personalization. Assign the same in MSMP workflow.
Second problem or email ca also be resolved using the BRF+ (Business Rule Framework). You have to create a BRF rule and decison tree with filter criteria as connector name.

  • N8 PR1.1 meeting requests by email fixed ?

    I updated my N8:00 (product code 059D4S1)  today from   011.012   to    013.016
    I see the new Quick office 6.4    but I tried a meeting request by email (office 2010)  got the email but its blank  ?   no way to accept or reject meeting ?
    Is this this fixed for anyone else?
    Also did anyone else get a an update after install 013.016    apps update?

    I can confirm The meeting requests to email are working    (I tested it on a MS hotmail account not exchange at first )  So if you want to be able to  accept or denny emailed meeting requests you need  Microsoft EXCHANGE   set up.     Note: you can get free  exchange via  hotmail now.
    Not sure if the exchange contacts sync (via hotmail exchange) is fixed a know i and others had problems where it was syncing all contacts  (this maybe a hotmail issue)
    Looking forward to next update where i hope they improve the N8 Browser
    * it should default to website fitting whole screen like iphone and Android)   
    * doesn't work on some html java links this needs fixing.
    * some sites you can't hit "return"  to complete info there is no return button!!
    keep it up Nokia !!!

  • Why won't my computer let me accept a PS request through email?

    Each time I get a photo stream request through email, I go to click "Join this Photo Stream," and a screen pops up that simply TELLS me how to accept a photo stream, which, much to my frustration, is exactly what I did to get me to the window that popped up. Has this happened to anyone else? Is there another way to accept PS requests? None show up in my notification center

    Uncheck Photo Stream  in the System/iCloud preference pane,
    reboot and then reenable it.  See if that will allow you to join the Shared Photo Stream.

  • How to create/design a servcie request screen to handle multiple sets of request details ?

    Hi All,
    There is a business requirement to create a service request template to handle user account creation requests for a specific application. The inputs for this request is user name and email ID. The account creation requests are made by the dept managers. Most of the time the dept managers make multiple account creation requests at the same time.
    I have already created a service request screen that has "Username" and "Email ID" as input fields . But the problem with this design is for every single account a new service request need to be raised. 
    I want to redesign the service request screen so that it can handle multiple user account requests with a single service request. The number of users for each request varies.
    Is there a way to dynamicaly add multiple input field sets (User name and Email ID),  when creating a new service request ? or Is there any other way to achive this requirement ?

    Could it be that those users you are asking permission for with this particular service request already exist in VSM system (as an example when VSM is integrated with AD)? If yes, then you can use custom Multiple Value QD [of the Person entity] to select required persons and add as many persons as you like to your request.
    Otherwise it may require deeper analysis of your business requirements. For now I have only some ideas to use Service Actions or custom javascript to create more advanced customer portal interface.
    In this case I would suggest to contact Alemba PSO for an extra service if possible.

    To change the iCloud ID on your phone you have to go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, provide the password for the old ID when prompted to turn off Find My iPhone, then sign back in with the ID you wish to use.  If you don't know the password for your old ID, or if it isn't accepted, go to https://appleid.apple.com, click Manage my Apple ID and sign in with your current iCloud ID.  Tap edit next to the primary email account, change it back to your old email address and save the change.  Then edit the name of the account to change it back to your old email address.  You can now use your current password to turn off Find My iPhone on your device, even though it prompts you for the password for your old account ID. Then go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account and choose Delete from My iDevice when prompted (your iCloud data will still be in iCloud).  Next, go back to https://appleid.apple.com and change your primary email address and iCloud ID name back to the way it was.  Now you can go to Settings>iCloud and sign in with your current iCloud ID and password.

  • ESS Leave request screen giving a critical Error in production server

    We are in a critical face of ESS implemetation.
    We are doing an ESS MSS implementation for country grouping 99.
    When we moved our changes to production server after succesful testing in quality, getting the following Critical error for Leave Request Screen.

    Other areas like personal Info & who is who are working fine.
    Leave request was working fine in Development and Quality servers and it never worked in Production server.
    It worked fine with same config, with same master data and same employee & org structure in quality server.
    We tried the following things:
    1. Checked and confirmed the sequence of transports for configs and Developments to Quality and Production.
    Even compared the table level entries and ABAP codings B/n dev and Production. All are same.
    2. Moved the workflow changes to production and activated the same. No change found after that.
    3. Gave SAP all authorization in R/3 and full authorization from portal side as well.
    4. Assigned the userid to different employees and checked the masterdata of employees.
    5. Checked the note 1388426.Every thing mentioned in the note is there in the system.
    6. Verified Rule groups and WEBMO feature are correct and same as in quality.
    As our go live date is very near, request your help .Thanks in advance for your help.

    Customisation of Leave request is mising in your system, please check the rule group using PTARQ.

  • How can I use the up & down arrows within a split screen email?

    When I'm reading a split screen email (in Yahoo), I have to use the scroll bar to go up and down WITHIN the email. I would like to set it up so that I can use the arrow keys to scroll up and down the email content. Thanks.

    Click once in the split-side where you want to use the scroll arrows, to make the "focus" there.

    Hi,
    Can you check if the absence is correctly maintained, also make sure absence which were available earlier are customised correctly and not delimited or removed.
    Check t-code "PTARQ" .
    Hope the tasks are set to "General Task"
    SPRO> Time Management>Web Application>Leave Request(new)>Link Absence types and workflow templates.

    Wait a few hours and check the spam filter. If you still don't get it, ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.
    They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

  • Imac goes back to password request screen

    imac goes back to password request screen over and over again after an upgrade notification " CS5 Service Manager needs Java 6 " . This happened yesterday after running a software upgrade, somehow after so many tries and repairing disk, using RP, etc it started to work. TODAY, another software upgrade with a "malware removal' file came and I thought Apple had found and solved the problem....WRONG I went to the same stae again....going crazy....please help.     I remember a sim. problem on MacOS 10.6. I remember that by then it was Firefox which needed to be upgraded to use the systems JRE (Java Resource Engine) instead of some other floating around on the OS.     Furthermore, I urgently advice you to scan your computer for viruses and malware programs. MacScan is offering a trial mode, where you can do this for free. Hope that helped.

  • Composite role not showing in Access request screen. (BRM not used)

    I have created a composite role in backend system with 2 single roles.
    a. I have imported the single roles using the NWBC screen.
    b. run the auth sync job.
    c. imported the composite role as a techincal role using the NWBC import screen.
    the import procedure was successfully completed.
    But when i try to search for the role in Access request screen for a user - i can only see the single roles & not the composite roles?

    In addition to Alessandro's valuable inputs, you need to be sure whether or not you were able to generate the composite roles (in NWBC).
    The final stage of the composite role has to be in complete status.

  • CUP 5.3 - Single Sign On fu00FCr end user request screen?

    Hi everyone,
    Is there any way to achieve Single Sign On in a windows environment using the corporate Active Directory for the END USER REQUEST SCREEN in CUP 5.3?
    I am aware of the document "Single Sign-On with SAP BusinessObjects Access Control 5.3" by the SAP GRC RIG (Harleen Kaur) so I know how to achieve Single Sign On for the CUP application itself.
    I am also aware of the option to deactivate "end user verification required" in the authentication source definition in CUP.
    What our end users are asking for is true single sign on. They would like to enter a request WITHOUT providing network user ID and/or password manually.

    We have not yet configured SSO but are in the phase of analyzing our options.
    I understood that SSO is only possible for the server:port//AE/index_apr.jsp page in CUP.
    What about the end user request screen (server:port/AE)? Will this work with Windows-SSO using SPNEGO? Would I set the authentication source to LDAP or to UME (UME has multiple LDAP as user data source)?

  • Crystal Reports - Saving and the transport request screen

    Good morning BI people,
    Has anyone had this annoyance?
    You are creating a Crystal report(2008 v12.2.7.598) with connection to sap bi(7.01) and when you save, the transport request screen doesn't come up front of crystal reports, it is created behide the screen. so, you sit and look at the hour glass for 5 mins, move on to other things, and then you realize that the transport screen is behide the crystal reports screen. and, it is not like you can minimize the crystal screen. you have to minimize all your screens and then click on the crystal screen from you tool bar and then, the transport screen comes up.
    anyone have a fix for this?
    or am i alone....

    Hi Brad
    I'm not sure that Modules would show us anything in this case, so let's try a few other things:
    1) Make sure you are using SP 1 for Crystal Reports Basic Runtime for Visual Studio:
    Crystal Reports for VS 2005 and VS 2008 Updates & Runtime Downloads
    2) Seeing as this works on dev, this may be some db inconsistency so enabling the report option "Verify on 1st Print" will be a good idea.
    3) Double check the database client and make sure the same client is used on dev and deployed systems. Actually I take back my Modules negative as this is where it may prove useful. Once you have the Modules logs, look at who is loading the crpe32.dll, then look at that process and see the client dlls.
    4) Check the printer driver; see if there are any updates. Try a different printer driver.
    Ten subreports is not too bad, though not that good either as you are loading the report engine with at minimum 11 simultaneous reports (each subreport is considered to be a report). If a subreport is in a details section and the details section returns a 100 records, you are running 100 + 1 reports. This may lead to memory issues, which may lead to the error.
    If I was a betting man, I'd put most of my money on the printer driver (based on your last addition to your post). What ever money I had left would go to some database issue (be it actual data or client related).
