Access denied (Object(s): portal_content/BWDCLNT200

Hello.

I set up the broadcasting in BI to the Portal.
when I 'm executing the report in Bex WEB Application Disigner error is appeared:
Access denied (Object(s): portal_content/BWDCLNT200)
Denis

Hi Denis,
Try giving access to the system created in Portal for the BI system to the user.
GoTo System Administration>Permissions>select portal_content/BWDCLNT200 and provide the full control permission as well as select the end user check box --> Save.
Hope this Helps.

  • Access denied (Object: com.sap.portal.system/security/no_safety)

    We are implementing EP 6.0, currently with SP11. We have developed some iViews, which are using RFC functions to get information from backend system, in this case SRM.
    Everything worked fine, till the day we’ve transported those developments into other systems (production and testing systems). We are getting the following error Access denied (Object: com.sap.portal.system/security/no_safety). This error only comes out if the iView is called from inside another one, if called isolated it works fine.
    Does any one have any idea about how to solve this?

    Hi AA, you can find in the log file in order to identify what is the object that you need to add in the security zone.
    You can find information for the security zones on:

  • Access denied error for BW Report iView..Please help :(

    Hello All,
    I have created a BW Report iView..containing a Bex query.
    Have created the required BW system object too.
    When I preview this iView, it asks me for BW system authentication....since am not mapped to this BW system.
    Its alright till here......
    Problem:
    Now, when I copy paste the URL (URL generated when you preview this iView) into a new browser window, I get an error saying:
    " <b>An exception occurred while processing a request for :
    iView : N/A

    I checked tha bove mentioned log and it says:
    <b>Permission check failed - Object <<i>iView path</i>>  Pcd.Use Principal: Information not available with current trace level#</b>
    Changed the iView authentication scheme to every value present but it did not resolve.
    Please help me resolve this.

  • Portal Runtime Error - Access Denied

    Hi Gurus,
        I have developed a simple model using two BAPIs in the VC.
    Once I save and deplay the model, I am getting a message 'Deployed Successfully'. But when i click on the Run <My model> link, i am not getting the Portal screen with the layout i have designed. I am getting an empty screen.
    When i do a preview for my model in the portal, I get the following error:
    "  Portal Runtime Error

    can somebody tell me what am i doing wrong? Or what should I do to correct this?
    Regards,
    Ravi

    hi Ravi,
         Check whether you have connected to a portal server. In the right hand top corner you get a small button to connect to portal server. If it says it have deployed successfully then in the contentadmin->portalcontent->visualcomposer folder you can see your iView created there.

  • Access Denied Error when trying to do a Search

    Hi,
    We are using the BP for CRM 5.0 and we are facing that the iviews are working but when we go into ie. a new Service Order and in one field we click on the icon to do a search of the value to fill in the text field, we are getting this error:
    Access denied (Object(s): portal_content/com.sap.pct/specialist/com.sap.pct.crm/com.sap.pct.crm.roles/com.sap.pct.crm.core.defaultservices/com.sap.pct.crm.core.valuehelp).
    Exception id: 09:51_13/09/07_0001_3889050
    See the details for the exception ID in the log file
    When we add Administrator permisions to the user this is resolved but the consern is why other iviews of the BP are working but the portal_content/com.sap.pct/specialist/com.sap.pct.crm/com.sap.pct.crm.roles/com.sap.pct.crm.core.defaultservices/com.sap.pct.crm.core.valuehelp is not working with the user profile?
    has somebody suffered this?
    I was trying to go into the log to find the error ID but can´t find the log that has to be analized, I didn´t find a log that has that ID or some ID´s like that one, can somebody guide me into this one to?
    Thanx In Advanced!!

    Hi Ahmet,
    The issue was solved assigning permissions to the Role CRM Default Services, try giving Read permisions to your users on this role, I did this assigning the Role where my users are to have permisions into CRM Default Services.
    I hope this can help!!
    Kind Regards,
    Gerardo J

  • Portal Runtime Error Reason: Access denied

    Dear Portal Experts,
    I know you might be familiar with the error and I'm kinda frustrated with the errors. Ok these are the facts:
    I'm implementing SRM 701 - Portal
    Got this error:
    Portal runtime error.
    An exception occurred while processing your request. Send the exception ID to your portal administrator.
    Exception ID: 07:04_14/10/11_0076_1729150

    User:          &\#39;MANAGER1&\#39;,
    Reason:         Access denied (Object(s): portal_content/com.sap.01SystemLandscape/com.sap.SAPSRM)
    If I give MANAGER1 super admin, all works. My analysis: It's only user permission problem
    I've done this:
    Everyone Group has READ permission and END USER ticked at level object (SAPSRM)
    Checking the related iView, has the same permission (obviously because it's inherited from the object SAPSRM)
    MANAGER1 has Everyone Assigned Groups
    So, everyone, is there something missing?
    Really appreciate your help

    It seems SAP_SRM is a system object. Correct? Try this:
    I assume you have already added everyone group to permissions of SAP_SRM, set it to OWNER. In addition, go to permission source and add everyone group there as well and perform the same action.
    I remember I had some Bex iViews and I had faced similar problem. It always used to work whenever I used to add user/group to permission source.
    Ameya

  • PermissionControlException Access denied - Portal BW

    Several pages required to perform settings in the Portal BI get an
    error, for example when trying to access the UME configuration through
    menu System Administration -> System COnfiguration -> UME Configuration
    and menu User Administration.
    Following the error:
    com.sapportals.portal.pcd.gl.PermissionControlException: Access denied
    (Object(s):
    portal_content/administrator/super_admin/super_admin_role/com.sap.portal.system_administration/com.sap.portal.system_admin_ws/com.sap.portal.system_configuration/com.sap.portal.umeConfigToolWD)
    We are using the User J2EE_ADMIN, which has the roles
    SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION, SAP_BC_JSF_COMMUNICATION_RO and
    SAP_J2EE_ADMIN assigned.
    What can I do?

    Hi Rogelio, could you tell me what was your solution to this issue (if you remember.. I realise the thread is very old now)? We're encountering this on our BI dev portal along with a very strange logon error that worryingly can be circumvented by logging into the QAS portal and then changing the URL!

  • Access denied to transpix.gif in Portal Favorites

    In the Portal Favorites of an authenticated user a spacer image transpix.gif cannot be displayed.  The path is /irj/go/km/docs/etc/public/mimes/images/transpix.gif  It causes the exception below and also a direct access via URL triggers the exception.  I checked all sorts of permissions, default roles and what not.  I am at a loss as to where to look.  It works fine in the dev and production portal but not in our qa portal.  Can someone help?
    Thanks,

    Thanks, I found it.  The problem seems to be fixed but I am not sure if as a result of the measures discussed here.  I had also reset some folder permissions before after which the user reported the problem had gone away.  I am not able to put the system back into the broken state so I cannot identify the source of the problem for sure.
    Nevertheless, I discovered another corner of the portal, previously unknown to me.  Case closed.

  • Unable to access PCD's role properties from Java Web Dynpro  (Access Denied

    Using the IPcdContext to access the portal roles does not produce the required list of roles due to the following error
    Access denied (Object) .....
    This occurs once I try to use the lookup() method
    I have tried security zones, adding sharingReferences and permission, but no luck.
    I have searched the SDN but again whatever I found still gave the same result. I now think that it's a configuration settings rather than code.
    Sample code
    Hashtable env = new Hashtable();
    env.put(Context.SECURITY_PRINCIPAL, strCurrentUser);
      env.put(Context.INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY, IPcdContext.PCD_INITIAL_CONTEXT_FACTORY);
      //DirContext ictx = new javax.naming.directory.InitialDirContext(env);
    // InitialDirContext     ictx = new InitialDirContext(env);
      InitialContext ictx = new InitialContext(env);
      lookupObject = "portal_content";
      IPcdContext myPcdContext =      (IPcdContext) ictx.lookup(lookupObject);
    Any suggestion will be appreciated

    The only thing I see different as per this [document |https://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/sdn/go/portal/prtroot/docs/library/uuid/6112ecb7-0a01-0010-ef90-941c70c9e401]  is following line of codes. Check if adding it resolves the issue:
    env.put(com.sap.portal.directory.Constants.REQUESTED_ASPECT, PcmConstants.ASPECT_SEMANTICS);
    lookupObject = "pcd:portal_content/"

  • Access Denied Error - Please Help!

    Here is my situation. I am using an anonymous user to access an page with a bunch of iviews on it. The iview all show appropriately. However, in the Result Set iview, there is a link on one of the columns that is shown (in this case it is called "Submittal").
    When I click the link to open the document (a pdf), I get an error:
    <b>
    Portal Runtime Error
    An exception occurred while processing a request for :
    iView : N/A
    Component Name : N/A
    Access denied (Object(s): com.sap.portal.system/security/sap.com/NetWeaver.Portal/low_safety/com.sap.pct.mdm.appl.masteriviews/components/ObjectServer).
    Exception id: 10:45_20/11/07_0002_15350950
    See the details for the exception ID in the log file
    </b>
    I tried altering the safety for this component to low, and even none, but none of those work. If I log into the portal, the document shows fine, it just seems to be for the anonymous user that it doesn't have access.
    Does anyone have any ideas on how to get rid of this error? Points will be awarded.
    Thank you.

    make sure that all the pages, which should be
    displayed to an anonymous user have permissions, Anonymous Users Group is added
    Security zones - if you go to System Administration -> Permissions ->Security Zones -> com.sap.nw.wpc -> wpc -> no_safety and you open the
    permissions of this object, the Anonymous Users group must be added in
    the list.
    Check SAP Note 837898.

    Hi SergioSarasti,
      Thanks for yoru suggestion.
      I think I found the reason.
      The user ADSUSER is used to connect systems between HR backend system and Java HTTP destination.
      The authentication between these systems are not identical, so that the access denied messages appears.
      I checked it and then correct it, after that the action is normal.

  • PermissionControlException: Access denied

    Hi,
    following problem:
    We have a Web Dynpro Java application which creates a direct link to an iView as URL. If the user clicks on the link, a new browser window is open and an error message occured:
    [EXCEPTION]
    com.sapportals.portal.pcd.gl.PermissionControlException: Access denied (Object(s):
    We investigated the problem. It seems that we leave the Portal Framework because the second windows of the browser is a stand-alone instance and so Portal tries to use the user "Guest" to login. But this user is not allowed to use the iView (iView rights are set strictly).
    What can we do? Any ideas?
    Thanks in advance.
    Michael

    Hi,
    finally, we solved the problem: It was the missing full qualified domain name in the URL.

    It was due to missing user role.

  • Cannot generate stub objects...access denied

    Has anyone come accross this?
    I am attempting to access a coldfusion 9 webservice that I created and am also consuming.  The pair works fine when both requesting page and the webservice are resident on my development server, but generates the following error when in production:
    Error Occurred While Processing Request
    Cannot generate stub objects for web service invocation.
    Name: http://casadiablo.homeip.net/WebServices/SimpleWebService.cfc?wsdl. WSDL: http://casadiablo.homeip.net/WebServices/SimpleWebService.cfc?wsdl. java.security.AccessControlException: access denied ("java.io.FilePermission" "C:/Program Files/Java/jdk1.7.0_04/jre/lib/wsdl.properties" "read") It is recommended that you use a web browser to retrieve and examine the requested WSDL document to ensure it is correct. If the requested WSDL document cannot be retrieved or is dynamically generated, it is likely that the target web service has programming errors.
    The error occurred in D:/home/casadiablo.net/wwwroot/indexCDNet.cfm: line 10

    Note: the wsdl renders just fine in a browser at the address I'm using so it's not a can't find it or location issue.  I'm no expert in reading wsdl files, though, so it could render some clues if I knew what to look for.
    For context:
    When I go from my development environment to production, the consuming page is on casadiablo.net/indexCDnet.cfm (hosted by Hostek).  The webservice is on a PC in my home that has a dedicated IP address.
    I've searched all over for an "access denied" java error (related to CF web services) discussion and have found nothing.  Any ideas as to how to troubleshoot where in this chain a java.io.FilePermission error might be triggered would be greatly appreciated!!
    Message was edited by: CFsolar
    Case solved. It turns out that this is totally a Hostek issue.  After exhausting all other options (including uninstalling and reinstalling java), it was a setting on the security sandbox that caused the error.  Well at least this will be out there for anyone else working with webservices and Hostek!

    Did anyone ever resolve this issue as I seem to be having the exact same issue???
