Access DTD content model from c++?

Hi,
I have seen how you can parse a DTD using the parseDTD method in the Java parser. Also there are functions for retrieving DTD information in the C parser. However the C++ parser can only return the entities and notations declared in the DTD, not the element declaration or content model.
How can I access it using C++? Is it just undocumented or is it not implemented yet? If its nto implemented are Oracle planning on implementing it soon?
Thanks in advance,
uniken

Hi.
You are saying that there are methods
in the XDK for C that can access a parsed
DTD structure and get information about
ELEMENT tags in it. I haven't found any.
Can you please tell me what these methods
are? I need to get the ELEMENT information
but all I can get are NOTATION and ENTITY
tags.
I would appriciate your help.
Thank you,

  • Using ElementDecl to access the content model

    Hi,
    Suppose I have an DTD that looks like the following:
    <!ELEMENT a (c*, d, e?, f+)>
    <!ELEMENT c (#PCDATA)>
    <!ELEMENT d EMPTY>
    <!ELEMENT e (#PCDATA)>
    <!ELEMENT f (g?, h+)>
    <!ELEMENT g EMPTY>
    <!ELEMENT h ANY>
    How do you get the content model for each one of the elements
    declared in this dtd? I tried to use the following code, but I
    get strange results.
    // Suppose edNode is the root of the DTD
    org.w3c.dom.Node cmNode = edNode.getParseTree();
    if (cmNode != null) {
    System.out.println("edNode = "+edNode.getNodeName()+" -
    "+edNode.getContentType());
    System.out.println("Children...");
    cmNode = cmNode.getFirstChild();
    while (cmNode != null) {
    System.out.println("cmNode = "+cmNode.getNodeName()+" -
    "+cmNode.getNodeType());
    cmNode = cmNode.getNextSibling();

    You code only descends to the first child node below the
    root and processes only its sibling nodes. It never descends
    below that layer to the child nodes below. Your code should
    have another loop to correct this.

  • Error 0x80070002 when Task Apply OS has "Access content directly from the distribution point" checked

    When I check "Access content directly from the distribution point" for the "Apply Operating System" task in my OSD Task Sequence, I get the failed error 0x80070002 at the step when running the sequence from WinPE.
    If I uncheck it, I don't get that error or have any problems.
    I've ensured that in the properties of my OS Image in the Data Access that "Copy the content in this package to a package share on distribution points" is checked, and that I Updated DPs.
    Am I missing any other settings?
    The reason I'm trying to do this is because the "Download" speed of the WIM is incredibly slow. I already installed a hotfix (KB2905002) that fixed this for my Dell systems, but it's not speeding it up for another computer model I'm imaging in
    the same way. The Dell computers, after I installed the server hotfix, will downloading the .wim file at 1% per second. However the HP thin clients I'm imaging download at about 1% every 15 seconds, and I'm not sure if that's due to their hardware or what.

    Hi,
    The error means file not found. So you need to check the smsts.log to see which DP it is accessing, then go to that DP to check the Shared Folder smspkg to make sure the file is there.
    For the download performance issue, there are various reasons. You need to check your Switch bandiwidth and if the NIC driver is up to date. If downloading locally is slow, Accessing directly could be slow too.

    At the moment i am only know how to send dynamic data from ccBPM.
    Please advise.
    Thank You and Best Regards

    Hai,
    Yes the user existed in QA before I transported the category. (Since users are not transported, I simply created a user with the same name.) Also, I used the role SAP_XI_ADMINISTRATOR for the receivers via subscription and roles.

  • Accessing KM Content from Collaboration room & Storing rooms in KM

    Hi all
           We have a scenario. We want to access KM Content from collaboration rooms. Is it possible?
    When we create a Room Template can we change the 'Path to Initially Displayed Folder'  to anything other than  ' /room ' ?
    Our problem is we want all the room parts to be stored inside our KM.
    If anybody knows the answer please help us
    Regards
    Aparnna

    Hi Aparna,
    Your requirement is definitely possible and that's the reason for me to provide the earlier link for configuration.
    Also see this link on  <a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/43/4fd9ac6c5c3c40e10000000a422035/frameset.htm">Providing Target Folders for Room Documents</a>
    Here you find information about "Configure Entry Point Providers" and "Prepare the Entry Point with a KM Folder of Your Choice " which would point your rooms to the repository of your choice.
    Hope this helps.

  • XML Parser Message: Element series is not valid for the content model

    Hello,
    I work with FrameMaker 8 and DITA.
    I change the element prodinfo in the topic.edd from:
    General rule: (prodname), (vrmlist), (brand | series | platform | prognum | featnum | component)*
    to:
    General rule: (brand | series | platform | component)*
    When I import the element definition to the template everything is okay.
    When I insert the elements metadata, prodinfo, brand, series, platform and component into a topic I get the XML Parser Message that the element brand is not valid for the content model (prodname,vrmlist, ((brand|series|platform|prognum|featnum|component))*).
    When I delete the element brand in the topic I get the XML Parser Message that the element series is not valid for the content model (prodname,vrmlist, ((brand|series|platform|prognum|featnum|component))*).
    I change the element prodinfo in the topic.edd to:
    General rule: (brand)?, (series)?, (platform)?, (component)?
    ...and get the same Parser Message.
    I do not understand that. Is not it allowed to change the EDD this way without changing the DTD?
    With kind regards
    Nina

    Hi Nina...<br /><br />In general, the EDD and DTD need to sync up. You can remove elements from an EDD element definition's general rule, as long as the resulting elements are still valid to the DTD. But if changing a general rule creates an invalid structure, you'll need to also change the DTD to allow the revised structure.<br /><br />With DITA, it is common to remove inline elements from block-level elements. For example, you might want to remove the <msgblock>, <msgnum>, and <msgph> elements from the general rule of the <p> element .. this can be done easily in the EDD and the resulting structure remains valid with the DTD.<br /><br />However, what you're doing leaves the <brand> element as a child of <prodinfo> .. which is invalid. You'll get these errors when saving a file, since this is when the file is validated against the DTD.<br /><br />I do not recommend modifying the structure in such a way that requires you to modify the DTD. If you really need to do this, then you should consider making a specialization to support your revised model.<br /><br />I hope this helps.<br /><br />Cheers and Happy New Year!<br /><br />...scott

  • Access To Content

    I am debating between getting the new Roku 3 or the Apple TV. I will probably get the Apple TV since most of my other devices are mac-based. I have a few questions that I hope can be answered.
    1. Is there a list that defines what content is free and requires a paid subscription on the Apple TV that I can view on-line?
    2. I want to get access to live sports content (College and Professional). Is it possible to sign up for a sports channel/package via Apple TV without purchasing it through my Comcast (ISP)?
    3. I want to drop cable but keep the Internet service from Comcast. Does the Apple TV allow me to view the local channels (e.g. ABC, NBC, CBS)?
    I know you can get an antenna box to view the local channels without cable. I am just wondering if it is possible with the Apple TV and if not, how would it work if I need to use an antenna in conjunction?
    4. When was the current Apple TV model released? Trying to figure out the product cycle and if it is worth waiting for the next one to come out.

    AppleTV is not a TV/cable replacement.
    It is a system for playing iTunes store rentals or purchases either from teh internet or from a computer on the LAN running iTunes.
    It has access for YouTube, Vimeo, Flickr and depening on your country Netflix and some other services.
    You need to look at the equivalent apple page in your country to this:
    http://www.apple.com/appletv/
    Content differs from country to country but you can't watch local TV Shows directly or sign up for sports/Tv channels though a couple of baseball/football channels might be available.

  • Can you use Object Relational SQL to access XML content ?

    Is there a possibility to use the generated object types and collection types to conveniently access the xml data?

    Technically there is nothing to prevent you from using the object types generared when an XML Schema is registered to access and manipulate the contents of the instance documents that conform to the Schema. This would be done using the notation x.xmldata.attribute In this case x would be the object table, xmldata is the name of the instance of the SQL object type associated with the table in question.
    However we do not encourage or recommend this approach. Currently XML DB provides the application developer with DML / DDL independence. This holds true as long as you use XPATH expressions to express your DML operations. Using XPATH expressions to access the content of an XML document maintains an abstraction between the DML (XPATH) and the underlying Object Relational Storage Structure derived from the information in the corresponding XML Schema. Whereever possible, when you express a query using an XPATH expression, under the covers we attempt to re-write the query into Object Relational SQL, based on the meta data contained in the Schema, as access v
    If you use the object notation to access the content of the document you break this abstraction. Your application now needs to be aware of the physical (object relational) storage model being used to manage the instance documents.
    One of the key features of XML DB is that it allow a developer to use Schema Annotations to alter the storage model used to manage the instance documents. The most common example of this is using annotations to control the way in which collections are managed. Depending on the annotation in the schema you can store collections as a VARRAY, as a NestedTable or as a separate XMLType table. Dependong on the technique chosed the objects that are generated during the XML Schema registration process will change.
    If you use the XPATH expressions to accesss the content of your documents, and you decided to change the annotations in your schema so as to revise the way your documents are stored, XML DB will ensure your code should continue to work unchanged, regardless of which objects are generated during Schema registration. On the other hand, if you use the object notation to access the content of the documents, and then change the annotation you will have to change your code.
    I hope this clarifies the situation..

  • Bind JAXB Content Model to html elements?

    We're trying to develop a system that passes an XML stream from server to client form.
    I created a JAXB content model to parse the XML so the elements can be mapped to gui components.
    A class, ContentTree, wraps the content model. ContentTree has a single method: public void loadXML(String).
    I have a jspx with a button which invokes a back-end service that returns the XML.
    I can't figure out how to bind the button's returned XML to ConentTree.loadXML(xmlData).
    Thanks!
    ps: maybe our approach is entirely lame. We need to pass the XML to the form, edit it, validate it, and send it all back to server.

    Hi Sudhakar,
    Could you please give us a more clear picture as to what you are doing. When you say HTML elements could you be speicific as to which HTML elements and how are you trying to bind these to HTML elements? Also you have mentioned about query on mulitple tables. There is a tutorial titled "Using Databound Components to Access Databases" at the page:
    http://developers.sun.com/prodtech/javatools/jscreator/learning/tutorials/index.jsp
    The above tutorial explains how data from multiple tables can be retrieved and displayed.

  • Access af:table values from JavaScript array (for google maps task)

    Hi!
    I have JSP page with af:table where latitude and longitude for google maps are stored. I am using these tutorial [https://blogs.oracle.com/middleware/entry/integrating_google_maps_with_adf] and I know how to access latitude and longitude from output text (for one point). Now i need to do something similar with loop for all table rows. How can I achieve this?
    I have JavaScript code which uses Google Maps API and can display many points on one map. Also I have longitude and latitude data in af:table (bindings), each table row has one point. My task is to take data from af:table and pass it to JavaScript.
    May be it is better to use managed bean as you said. Firstly I will access binding data from managed bean. Then I have to pass this data to JavaScript method? Can you suggest some example? I have "Using JavaScript in ADF Faces Rich Client Applications"

  • How can I access my iTunes account from my iPhone.

    1- I can't access my iTunes account from my iPhone.
    Do I have to sync them or can I download the songs I bought without connecting with my macbook?
    Last time i connected the two, all my music got deleted. Must have done something wrong, but have no idea how to prevent that from happening again.
    2- My "preferences" panel in iTunes, only shows apps and books, not music- Why?
    3- I can't save any music on iClod.

    hello.
    i followed your link on how to delete content from all things Apple, and nothing removes books, movies, music... it just gives said device(s) the iCloud/download icon on top of the book, movie...  not sure what the 'hide' purchase actually does - after X'ing/hide, everything STILL appears across all devices using that account.  could you clarify this any further?
    if i am understanding iTunes correctly, then EVERYTHING we download (free or purchased) will be FOREVER accessible with zero way for us to control what is filling up this mysterious vault called the cloud?  (creepy- apple is keeping EVERYTHING, what happens when the cloud gets full?)
    since we have iCloud.com and it shows our "stuff" that we iCloud sync from our devices such as notes, contacts, calendar... then why doesn't apple provide an iCloud.com tab that shows ALL of our purchases so we as CONSUMERS control/delete what is in our account?
    we download ALOT of apps to try and then delete them off our devices.  that works fine, but movies and books are always there.  maybe a glitch?
