Thanks in advance

You posted here, so you hopefully have CDC and Personal Profile in your J2ME, is that right? If yes, then you can use java.io package (CDC):

and file dialog (PersonalProfile):

  • 7.1: Accessing Mobile Device Administration

I am trying to set up a 'logical' mobile device. The class material (RNM71, Solution in Unit 5) says:
"Open the Data Orchestration Administration and Monitoring Portal from the user menu. The portal opens in a separate browser window."
Since the user menu was set up individually for the class, I don't have it there on my system.
    How do I access it?
    Cheers, Andre

    Hello André,
have you tried port 8080 ?
the used port should be available as a  rofile parameter  "icm[DS]/server_port_0".
How to look into the probile parmaeters ?
Execute transaction ABAP Editor (SE38), then program Set Profile Parameters (RSPARAM) to display all profile parameters. Scroll down the list to view the parameters that are currently relevant.
    I hope this helps.
    Best Regards,
    Stefan

  • Event ID 4 while attempting to access Mobile Devices list in ECP/OWA

    Hi Community!
We just recently setup an Exchange 2013 (CU6) environment migrating away from Exchange 2010.  Our 2013 environment has 1 Mailbox server and 1 Client Access Server.  Everything appears to be functioning correctly between 2010 & 2013, except
when attempting to access the Mobile Device list from a user account within Exchange Admin Center in 2013.  We receive an error 400 Outlook Web App Options and Event ID 4 on the Mailbox Server.
Thank you to anyone who can shed some light on this issue.

When I go to access my albums from any app on my phone or iPad, I cannot access the iCloud albums, only the albums synced with iTunes/iPhoto manually.  This is frustrating because I cannot add to those albums from mobile device, I have to add to them during a Mac sync.  I would like to be able to use my iCloud albums to organize my photos but if I cannot access them from apps it seems pointless.  I will end up having to maintain both an iCloud library and a separate iPhoto library which is more work that seems necessary.  I want everything easy to organize and access.  It seems like in this age where most people are more likely to use their mobile devices than their Macs (and some do not even own Macs) that there should be a mobile solution.  Hopefully I am simply without a clue and you folks can help me out with a fix or a source of info as a solution.  I have not found answers yet.

  • Since i up graded to itunes 10.5.2 i cannot access itunes store fully ,i have apple mobile device exe eating my cpu at 97% and now i tried to sync my ipod and it said that i needed to restore my ipod ,this i did and now i cant access my ipod library

this has got ridiculous now i cant access itunes tore,my ipod says there is no music on it even though i watched it sync nearly 5000 tunes and the program apple mobile device exe eats my cpu at 97% it slows my computer to a crawl should have had the courage of my convictions and stuck to itunes version9 at least that worked.tried resetting netsh winsock, flushing my dns all not worked.this has to be sorted out...and quick

    Hi,
I have tried and confimed that you can download the previous version from some web-site about the version 10.5.1.42.
Remove/un-install 10.5.2.11 and restart your computer.
    Install the old version 10.5.1.42
and then you can find the "Devices" on the left column and showing synchronizing when you connect the cable.
    Good luck

  • Apple mobile device support install/uninstall sets my wireless to limited access

    Dell Pavilion dv7
    Windows 7 64 bit.
    Current itunes 10.4
When installing itunes 10.5, my wireless connection changed to limited access.  I can not connect to the internet with wireless.  If I put my ethernet cable in, i can connect to the internet through the ethernet cable.
I found no solutions to fix the limited access issue.  So, i had to restore my system.  After the restore my wireless connection could connect to the internet again.
But now itunes does not work.  One of two messages come up.  The latest (i have done several system restores).  Either quicktime was not found or something about iTunes Library.itl is out of synch with the current version of itunes.
Now i decide to uninstall all the itunes installed products one at a time.  Itunes, quicktime, Apple software update, Apple mobile device support and there it goes, my wireless connection changes to limited access again.
    Any help would be great.

Let's try a standalone Apple Mobile Device Support install. It still might not install, but fingers crossed any error messages will give us a better idea of the underlying cause of why it's not installing under normal conditions.
Download and save a copy of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe) installer file to your hard drive:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Download and install the free trial version of WinRAR:
    http://www.rarlab.com/
Right-click the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64setup.exe), and select "Extract to iTunesSetup" (or "Extract to iTunes64Setup"). WinRAR will expand the contents of the file into a folder called "iTunesSetup" (or "iTunes64Setup").
Go into the folder and doubleclick the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi (or AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi) to do a standalone AMDS install.
(If it offers you the choice to remove or repair, choose "Remove", and if the uninstall goes through successfully, see if you can reinstall by doubleclicking the AppleMobileDeviceSupport.msi again.)
Does it install (or uninstall and then reinstall) properly for you? If so, can you get a normal iTunes install to go through properly now?
If instead you get an error message during the install (or uninstall), let us know what it says. (Precise text, please.)

  • Itunes will not install. I get the error message "Error writing to file: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\com.apple.IE.client_main.dll     Verify that you have access to that directory."

Itunes will not install. I get the error message "Error writing to file: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Apple\Mobile Device Support\com.apple.IE.client_main.dll     Verify that you have access to that directory."

That one's consistent with disk/file damage. The first thing I'd try with that is running a disk check (chkdsk) over your C drive.
XP instructions in the following document: How to perform disk error checking in Windows XP
Vista instructions in the following document: Check your hard disk for errors
Windows 7 instructions in the following document: How to use CHKDSK (Check Disk)
Select both Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors, or use chkdsk /r (depending on which way you decide to go about doing this). You'll almost certainly have to schedule the chkdsk to run on startup. The scan should take quite a while ... if it quits after a few minutes or seconds, something's interfering with the scan.
Does the chkdsk find/repair any damage? If so, can you get an install to go through properly afterwards?

  • TS1609 My computer comes up with Service Apple Mobile Device failed to start verify you have sufficient access privileges dont know to resolve it

My computer comes up with Service Apple Mobile Device failed to start verify you have sufficient access privileges dont know to resolve it

These are the instructions I posted to another topic with this same issue.
I had this same thing happen on 2 different laptops. I finally called Apple support and they walked me through the repair. Apparently there are compatability issues with Apple software update and Internet Explorer, so if that is your default browser, you will want to download Google Chrome, Firefox or some other web browser and set it as your default. You will still be able to use IE, if you don't uninstall it, but links from e-mail will open in your new default browser, unless you copy and paste the URL into the web address line.
These are the step-by-step instructions that the tech support person walked me through. She said that it is important that you do these steps in this order.
    1. Go to your Control Panel and open Programs and Features.
    2. Find and uninstall iTunes from the list.
    3. Find and uninstall Apple Software Update.
    4. Find Apple Mobile Device Support and REPAIR this file. This is the problem child, so you must repair it first.
    5. After you have repaired it, uninstall it.
    6. If Apple Mobile Device Support is not removed from your program list, restart your computer and go back into the Control Panel and Programs an Features. If the file is still there, repeat Repair and then uninstall. It should now be removed from the list.
    7. Restart your computer.
    8. Go back into your Control Panel and Programs and Features and then find BONJOUR. Uninstall Bonjour.
    9. Find Apple Application Support and uninstall it.
    10. Restart your computer.
    11. Upon restart, you may receive an "AppleSyncNotifier.exe - System Error" if you have iCloud attached to your account. This is normal and will be fixed when you reinstall iTunes.
    12. Using Google Chrome (or Firefox or Safari) go to www.apple.com and click on iTunes and then find the button to download iTunes. It will now install properly and be usable.
    13. If for some reason you are not able/allowed to change your default browser to something other than IE, then you should uncheck the box to automatically update iTunes during the install process or you may end up having to redo this fix.
Hope this helps everyone with this problem. I have now gone through this process with two of my laptops, both of them with successful results. If this does not work, I strongly urge you to contact Apple for additional assistance.

I am getting the same error message - error 7, Windows error 193 running iTunes on a PC Laptop (HP) which has been running iTunes previously for at least 2 years.
I followed the Apple support page and uninstalled (in order) all Apple programmes specified, rebooted, then re-installed.  Two additional errors crop up in re-installation, the first one is to do with Apple Mobile Support Device Services.  It seems that this might be rectified by plugging in said devices before finishing the re-install.  The second reads iTunesHelper was not installed correctly please re-install iTunes.  This persists. I cannot uninstall iTunesHelper using the Control Panel, but I can delete it using Windows.  However, after re-installing again, it still won't run and the original error comes back.  I've downloaded and uninstalled 15 times now and this is taking far too long to be acceptable.

  • Sharepoint Workflow - change URL Path for inside and mobile device email access

I have a workflow that work perfect when accessing from a desktop.  An email is sent with a link to the item,
    [%Workflow Context:Current Item URL%].  The real address is http://sql/layouts/.......
When the user tries to click on the link in the email from a mobile device, it doesn't work.
If I change the mobile device to http://50.xx.xxx.xxx/layouts... it works fine!  (50.xx.xxx.xxx is the port open on our firewall to access SharePoint)
How can I add a separate link in my workflow email so that users can access the SharePoint task list item from a mobile device?
I was thinking of having a link for the inside, http://sql... and a link for the mobile device, http://50.xxx.xxx.xxx/...
    Thank you!

List item URLs are basically a URL to the list item using the item Id. In this case 159 is the item id. The URL represents a downloadable resource like a file in a document library. However in a document library you would get the name of the file plus
it's extension. For example Contract.pdf. The .000 represents the file extension for the list item URL. If you typed in your URL in the browser to servername/list name/159_.000 you would be prompted to save the file (list item). You can save it to your local
file system and it will be a file called 159_.000. However the file will be empty since a list item does not contain any binary content. You will have to some how modify the workflow to replace the servername/list name/159._000 to use servername/lists/list
name/dispform.aspx?id=159. This URL will display the view form for the list item.

  • Access image files on mobile device

    Hi
I've just started playing about with J2ME and was writing a application for my mobile (LG8120) ... it a simple applicaion, an image scroller. Allowing the user to scroll around a large image using the keypad ... Anyhow, i've come across a snag! .. How do you access images off the mobile device?, such as taken by the camara, or sent to me ... basically file access! ...
    thanks for your time ...

For image access you have 'Image' class and 'ImageItem' to display image on form.
You can either get image from resource file (bundled with jar) or via HTTP.
    For resource file use :
    getClass().getResourceAsStream(imageFile)
    For HTTP use:
    HttpConnection newHttpConnection = (HttpConnection) Connector.open(imageUrl);
    To create image use:
    Image.createImage()

    Hi Guys,
I have written a blog post on how to access the VMTN community on your mobile device when you are are not in front of your PC/laptop.

I assume "I can't use my keyboard, since it doesn't connect" is because it is a bluetooth keyboard.
Chances are you have something more serious that Safe Mode may not work, HOWEVER, if you cannot use the bluetooth keyboard, then you need to plug in a USB keyboard and try booting holding the Shift key.
I'm not sure that will actually work, but if bluetooth keyboard not functioning, then you need to try a USB keyboard if you think it will help.
Alternatives.  If you have another Mac AND if both have Firewire ports, you could try putting the non-booting Mac into Target Mode (again you may need a USB keyboard).  Boot holding Command-T to put the Mac into Target Mode.  Connect the 2 Macs via Firewire cable.  The Mac in Target Mode should appear on the other Mac as an external disk.  You should then be able to use the working Mac's Applications -> Utilities -> Disk Utility to verify and if appropriate repair the Target Mode disk.
If all else fails you may need to restore your system from your most recent backup.
