Access to web or phone app keeps failing

This probably the tenth time since Digital Life was installed in March that the apps and web access keep losing contact because AT&Ts servers go down. I thought this was a reliable service so sometimes I take a walk without varying keys or garage remote.
So I get back and I can't open the app (7/12/15 10:00 am PST). I call the Digital Life 24 he hotline and wait for over 45 minutes. They can't even do anything to let me in or get access.
What accountability does AT&T have besides apologizing repeatedly? I had important things to do than wait outside my house 3 hours for the server to reset.

Thanks, i already have the emulation mode in Microsoft IE... but it doesn't work... it is kind of tricky, the blackberry is on the network, it has an ip address from the network, it access the internet and BES via the wireless network, but cannot access any webserver within the network... Does someone have any ideas?

  • I think there is a flaw in ios 5. Notification centre doesn't show missed call, during another call is in progress, after accessing recent calls in phone app, once.

    Notification centre in ios 5 is not showing the missed calls when another call is in progress. It shows perfectly before accessing the phone app. But once you access the recent calls in phone app, then afterwards it stops showing the missed calls during another call is in progress.

    Forgot to add, this happens, when you receive a call, during the phone is locked, and you receive a call, while the previous call is in progress.

  • After upgrading to iOS 5 the actual phone app keeps crashing

    Updated my iPhone 4 to iOS 5 yesterday. Everything seems to work fine, it seems, except the actual phone app.
    When I click it to make a call it immediately crashes and goes back to the home screen.
    I was able to make a call by calling out of the address book but the screen was blank. At the top I got the green bar saying "Touch to return to call" and when I clicked on it I'd see the regular phone stuff you'd expect to see for a split second before the screen went back to black with the green bar at the top.
    I was unable to end the call without turning the phone off.
    I can receive calls and everything works fine until I answer the call. I'm able to talk with no problems but I get the same problem described above when actually looking at the phone.
    I have tried turning the phone off and also hard resets but nothing works.
    Anybody know what's wrong or how to fix?

    Clearing all the apps out of the multitask tray followed by a hard reset appears to have solved the problem.

  • Time Capsule timeouts when accessing secure web pages, downloading apps, backing up to iCloud, etc.

    Last week I upgraded my broadband connection to fibre, requiring me to install a different router because the Draytek one I had in place was not suitable, so I went for a Time Capsule.  My other devices are a 13” MacBook Air, an iPad 2 and an iPhone 4.
    Web browsing performance was immediately fantastic, with consistent readings on the Mac of 12ms ping, 35Mbps+ download speed and 1.5Mbps+ upload speed.  One oddity I did notice when running a speed test (using speedtest.net), but which I didn’t think about much at the time, is the time taken between finishing the download test and starting the upload test.  In my previous experience there would be only a few seconds between them, but on my new fibre connection through Time Capsule it takes anything from 30 seconds to a minute for the upload test to begin.
    However, a few days ago I tried to download some app updates in iTunes to the Mac, but after a wait I received a message that the network connection had timed out.  I tried again multiple times and each time the result was the same.
    I then Googled the problem to see what might be causing it, but I found I was not able to access any results from the Apple Support Communities pages because the browser would time out with a network connection error, or they would take an absolute age to load. Subsequently, I have also discovered that I cannot backup my iOS devices to iCloud (it tries for ages and then says there was an error), I cannot log in to any online accounts (the browser eventually times out with a network connection error) and I cannot send email from the mailbox that syncs with my work Exchange account.  I have also realised that the Apple Support Communities pages are secure, so the common theme seems to be there is a problem accessing anything that requires security/authentication/encryption.
    This is not a Wi-Fi issue as it is the same when I switch off Wi-Fi on the MBA and attach it to the router via an Ethernet cable.
    It is also not a Mac/iPad issue, as both function normally on my work Wi-Fi network.
    I have reached the end of my limited technical tether, so does anybody have any suggestions please?

    Bizarrely, after more than a week of problems and time wasted in trying to resolve them, I arrived home from work today to find that everything is working perfectly. The network is exactly as it has been all week and when I called my ISP they said they had changed nothing on the line, so it's a complete mystery.
    I'm happy it's working, but it would have been nice to understand what caused the problem, just in case it happens again.
    Anyway, thanks again and sorry for wasting your time.

  • My apps keep failing

    I have a new HP amd I installed some apps for windows 8.1 which where working fine till today.  Now it just says " Something is blocking the apps".  I tried turning off the firewall but it still wont work.
    Any suggestions???

    Thank you for visiting the HP Support Forums and Welcome. I have looked into your issue about your HP 15-g094sa Notebook and issues with the apps you have installed. Did you install some sort of Virus Protection?
    The best thing to do with apps is to Disable them then enable them.  If that does not help here is a document on troubleshooting apps.

  • Apps keeping failing

    I have started to have a problem with my apps.  For example, I will start Safari, start a search and the app will stop and go back to the main screen. Then I have to start all over again. The search will need to be re-entered. It also happens at intermittently, I can use an app for a while and everything works fine, but eventually the app will die/stop/end/close and I'm back at the main screen.
    Any ideas of what's wrong and how to fix it?

    - First try resetting the iPod.  Nothing should be lost.
    Reset iPod touch:  Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
    button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Next restore the iPod from backup via iTunes
    - Then restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod since you may have some corruption that is now in your backup.

    Please read this whole message before doing anything.
    This procedure is a diagnostic test. It’s unlikely to solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.
    The purpose of the test is to determine whether the problem is caused by third-party software that loads automatically at startup or login. 
    Disconnect all wired peripherals except those needed for the test, and remove all aftermarket expansion cards. Boot in safe mode* and log in to the account with the problem. The instructions provided by Apple are as follows:
    Shut down your computer, wait 30 seconds, and then hold down the shift key while pressing the power button.
    When you see the gray Apple logo, release the shift key.
    If you are prompted to log in, type your password, and then hold down the shift key again as you click  Log in.
    *Note: If FileVault is enabled under OS X 10.7 or later, or if a firmware password is set, or if the boot volume is a software RAID, you can’t boot in safe mode. Safe mode is much slower to boot and run than normal, and some things won’t work at all, including wireless networking on certain Macs.  The next normal boot may also be somewhat slow.
    The login screen appears even if you usually log in automatically. You must know your login password in order to log in. If you’ve forgotten the password, you will need to reset it before you begin. Test while in safe mode. Same problem? After testing, reboot as usual (i.e., not in safe mode) and verify that you still have the problem. Post the results of the test.

  • IPhone 5, phone app self activating?

    My phone app recently keeps showing up in my 'active apps' even after I press, hold and hit 'x' is this a known issue? I'm worried its malicious as I hear issues from friends getting ludicrously high bills while using minimal calls/SMS/data.

    Thank you for responding and yes, I mean the multi-tasking bar, I make I habbit of clearing it at the end of each day but in the last week the phone app keeps appearing in there, even after I remove it from multi-tasking bar and no, I have not received, nor made calls for some time. It has never done this for me in 4 years of iPhone use.

    Try to backup then restore your phone and download your apps back from the backup it should work. Hope that will help you.

    Back up all data.
    Boot into Recovery by holding down the key combination command-R at the startup chime. Release the keys when you see a gray screen with a spinning dial.
    Note: You need an always-on Ethernet or Wi-Fi connection to the Internet to use Recovery. It won’t work with USB or PPPoE modems, or with proxy servers, or with networks that require a certificate for authentication.
    When the OS X Utilities screen appears, follow the prompts to reinstall the OS. You don't need to erase the boot volume, and you won't need your backup unless something goes wrong. If your Mac was upgraded from an older version of OS X, you’ll need the Apple ID and password you used to upgrade, so make a note of those before you begin.

    Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but the iPhone 3GS can only be updated as far as 4.2.1
    Requirements for WhatsApp are iOS 4.3 or later. This app is optimized for iPhone 5.
    As noted here >  WhatsApp Messenger for iPhone on the iTunes App Store
    So that app cannot run on the iPhone 3GS.
    I stand corrected but apparently you may not be able to update the device regardless.

    We have installed HCM and CRM modules on Fusion Application 11.1.7 version.
    This is 2 node architecture ie IDM components installed in one node and Fusion components installed in another node.
    We are able to start the IDM components and Fusion components successfully, but when users are trying to access any task from Fusion application home page, they are getting the below error
    A portlet consumer error was received for the task Manage Worker Goal Setting Lookups. Report the error details to the following owning product Goal Management.

This task is identified with the code HRG_MANAGE_WORKER_GOAL_SETTING_LOOKUPS that invokes program /WEB-INF/oracle/apps/fnd/applcore/lookups/publicUi/flow/ManageCommonLookupsTF.xml#ManageCommonLookupsTF of module code fndSetup. Review the consumer and producer logs for more details on this error.

    This may be related to the other issue regarding "FUSION_APPS_WSM_APPID-KEY" as the logs contains exceptions like:
    oracle.wsm.policymanager.PolicyManagerException: WSM-02081 : Failed to login to perform requested action.
    Please refer to document Fusion Application Service Account Password Expiration Causes Portlet Producer Errors (1486388.1) for steps on how to verify and set the password. There is also exception:
    javax.security.auth.login.FailedLoginException: [Security:090302]Authentication Failed: User FUSION_APPS_PROV_PATCH_APPID denied
    This is also likely caused by an expired password, please see Fusion Apps Servers Are Not Starting Up - Password Policy Error :9000: GSL_PWDEXPIRED_EXCP :Your Password has expired (1629927.1).

    Does using 192.168.1.1 get you to the web page?
    Firmware Update Process
    To safely update FW, I recommend doing the following: Download the FW file from the support site first.
    Disable the auto update feature on the router.
    1. Save router config to file first using IE or FF with all security add-ons disabled.
    2. Factory reset the router with all other devices disconnected or turned OFF accept for 1 wired PC.

    3. Reload or Update the FW using IE or FF. Just download the FW file to your local wired LAN PC.

    4. Factory reset the router and then set up from scratch first using the local log in link and test with out loading the saved config from file. Check to see if any problems are fixed before loading the saved config from file. Sometimes you need to set up from scratch with out loading the saved config file. Just safer that way.
    PC Web Browser Configurations
    What browser are you using?
    If IE 8, 9, 10 or 11, set compatibility mode and test again.
    Disable any security browser Add-ons like No Script and Ad-Block or configure them to allow All Pages when connected to the router.
    Clear all browser caches.
    Be sure to log into the local log-in account on the router first.

  • Can't Edit Data in Access 2013 Web App

    I have an Office 365 P1 account that I have been using to create apps in Access 2010. I tried Access 2013. But when I launch an app, it loads in my Office 365, but editing data is not enabled (the Add and Edit buttons are displayed, but not enabled).
    I have tried creating a new custom web app with one simple table and a view, as well as creating one using a Microsoft pre-built template, and simply creating the app and launching it. In both cases, the app displays, but I cannot add or edit data.
    Is there something with my Office 365 account that is limiting my ability to work with Access 2013 web apps?

    In regarding of the issue, please provide us more information to assist you better.
    What the file format is your Access 2007 file? MDB or ACCDB?
    Where do you want to add the columns? Table, form or query?
    As far as I know,
    the limitation of columns in a table is 250. Thus, I suppose that the database had some hidden columns. Please try to check it. Steps:
    Right-click any field title, then select Unhide Fields. A dialog box will appear. Click the check boxes of any fields you would like to be visible again, then click Close.
