I think there is a flaw in ios 5. Notification centre doesn't show missed call, during another call is in progress, after accessing recent calls in phone app, once.
Notification centre in ios 5 is not showing the missed calls when another call is in progress. It shows perfectly before accessing the phone app. But once you access the recent calls in phone app, then afterwards it stops showing the missed calls during another call is in progress.
Forgot to add, this happens, when you receive a call, during the phone is locked, and you receive a call, while the previous call is in progress.

Originally, even if I had some messages on the "do not disturb" mode, I would still be able to preview them in the notification center. After the latest update about a week or so ago, the only messages that appear are the ones that aren't on "do not disturb". I've tried taking them all off the DND mode and turning it back on, messed with the settings, even turned my phone off and on, but nothing is working.

Everyone in our company thinks they are the best. However, it is experiencing the same issues as with all my other Bluetooth headsets. Everything works except cannot answer or hang up calls pushing the buttons on the Bluetooth devices. The Bluetooth patio speakers in our courtyard also have the same issue. However, my colleagues using iPhone 5 and 5s who did not update to iOS8 are using all Bluetooth devices without any issues. Apple says it is a problem with my Bluetooth device. Come on Apple.... This makes 7 different Bluetooth devices with different manufacturers. You cannot possibly believe the problem is with the Bluetooth devices when iOS7 works perfectly fine...
On another issue, my iPhone 5s worked perfectly fine in my vehicle entertainment center connected via USB. The vehicle entertainment center had complete control of my iPhone and iTunes. However, now I plug in my new iPhone 6 and it no longer communicates with my vehicle entertainment center. Again when I called Apple, they said my vehicle entertainment center needed a firmware update. Are you kidding me... That is a bunch of BS...!!! -

I have a 32GB iPad mini that was purchased new in June of this year. A little while ago, I started the iOS 8.02 download while it was plugged into a wall socket using an official apple wall to USB plug and an official apple thunderbolt cable. I then left for 25 minutes to get some food.
On coming back, I discovered the iPad with a black screen showing the apple logo. I thought this was just an ordinary part of the update, it was restarting or something after installation, so I thought nothing of it. Then, after another minute or two, the screen flashed blue and then went completely black.
Puzzled, I waited for another second and the apple logo reappeared as if the iPad was restarting again. However, after a few minutes, this happened again. This has been going on for the last half an hour, and I was wondering has anybody experienced this before.
As I stated in the title, it won't show up in iTunes, and the hardware reset or whatever it's called doesn't work. Also, bear in mind I had issues syncing it with iTunes the night before and it also seemed to crash a few times last night, restarting the iPad and bringing it to the blank screen with the apple logo for a few seconds before going to the lock screen. That didn't happen at all this morning though.
The iPad is not jailbroken, however, it does have licenses for gba4iOS, which is still installed on it, and a VPN license installed on it by the Hola app, which I deleted but never bothered deleting the license for. Any help would be greatly appreciated.Hi Colin how are you?

Itunes does not recognize my ipad. Home and standby also doesnt work.
Also have the blue thing every few minutes and the apple logo but it never goes beyond it.

Duplicate alarms in iOS 7 notification centre
(iPhone 5, iOS 7)
I have one alarm set in the clock app. Yet it appears twice in the notification centre:
"You have an alarm set for 05:42."
"Your alarm is set for 05:42."
I've tried deleting the alarm and recreating it. One of the two entries above gets deleted; the other remains even if all alarms are deleted completely.

BrandonWhy do I need location services on? In iOS6 weather was available with WiFi or EDGE or 3G, I just input the city manually and it showed in the Notification Center. I had only one city like I do now.

Is there a limit to step types? "Insert step" doesn't show all step types.

I am observing a weird behavior with TestStand 2.0. As soon as the number of step types that i created goes beyond 60, I can't see some of the steps in the "Insert Step" pop up dialog. It doesn't show the arrows at the top and bottom, as usually, and only shows 53 options to pick, even though there should be 61 items. If remove the step type I created last, I get all of the step types available to be selected. On the other hand, if I open the same files in version 4.1, all of the types are shown. Is there something I can do with version 2.0 to get over this issue?

I tried replicating this issue in TestStand 2.1 and saw a similar problem, though not exact. I had enough step types to make two columns in the Insert Step pop-up dialog, but some of the steps before it broke into a new column did not show up. I could still access those though using the arrow keys. After using the mouse pointer to highlight a step type, you can use the arrow keys to navigate down into the part of the list that isn't shown on the screen and hit enter to insert the step. If you know exactly where your step should be in the list, you can select it and insert it, but other than that, there's no other way around it. As you noted, this was a bug in TestStand 2.0/2.1 and it was resolved in a later version, so this is no longer a problem with current versions of TestStand.

On the notification centre the calendar all day events do not appear, though "today events" are switched on.
Any idea to resolve? The Sales Associate said to submit your problem, questions, etc. and they usually get read and submitted furthur by an Apple team. He also said the more folks that submit the same issue the more likely it will get attention... I cant say that its entirley true but its worth a shot.

I mentioned how calender events weren't showing in my Notifications (mostly 'All Day' events), and how even after software resets, toggeling functions and reinstalling todays iOS 7.0.2 update, nothing worked.... I also spoke with 3 techs at the Apple store and 1 in Austin at Tech Support, all of which couldnt figure it out.

IOS 5 notification center Doesn't respond?
Ok, I have been looking for this answer for a few weeks now, so I decided to post the question myself. When I try to pull down from the status bar to pull down notification center, it just doesn't come down. It's like I'm running iOS 4. Nothing happens. The only way for me to fix it is to reboot and it will work for another 5 minutes if I'm lucky. I am very tech savvy so I know it is a bug or glitch. I also have all of those notification settings turned on. I have all of my notifications show up in notification center (when I get a chance to pull it down). Also when a banner flips from the top of my screen when notification center is not working for me, I can pull it down with the banner, but once I flick it back up I cannot go back in to it. I just wanted to see if their are anyone else that is having this problem. And if you find a fix please let me know. I am getting annoyed having to reboot 10 times a day. Thanks in advance for any responses!

If you have an iPad 1, the max iOS is 5.1.1. For newer iPads, the current iOS is 6.1.3. The Settings>General>Software Update only appears if you have iOS 5.0 or higher currently installed.

If you are currently running an iOS lower than 5.0, connect the iPad to the computer, open iTunes. Then select the iPad under the Devices heading on the left, click on the Summary tab and then click on Check for Update.

My apps are not showing on my home screen after the new iOS 6 update. They are in my iCloud but it only gives me and option to open. How do I get these apps back on my home screen?
Do you have an Restrictions set that would hide the apps? Settings>General>Restrictions
Have you used the Spotlight search? Maybe you just can't find them.

IOS 8 - Screen freezes accessing Recent call log items
We are having many problems with the devices upgraded to iOS8 (8.01, 8.0.2 and 8.1). The problem is the loss of Dialpad phone.
The iPhone 5 and 5c are extremely slow to navigate in the options inside the icon "Phone". For example, the keyboard appears when I enter the phone and can dial normally, however when I click to see the recent calls log, it crashes, it takes around 30-40 seconds to open the list of recent, after that we can return to keyboard and connect. If at that time, we click on Recent constantly, the screen goes white and locks the keyboard, you can no longer make calls or resetting the device only coming from the factory settings.
The problems intensify after enrolling into de ActiveSync environment, but we have tested several e-mail accounts and the same problems happen for all devices in Brazil, we also made these tests on devices from US personnel and the error does not occur.

I am based in the UK but traveled to Brazil taking two iPhones (5c and 5s), both with IOS8.1.2, both with a UK contract with Vodafone.
Within 1 day of arriving both phones suffered the same problem: the "phone app" became unresponsive, with the favourites, recent, contacts and keypad buttons taking about 1 minute to have any effect. Sometimes the phone vibrated when a call was received but the phone app did not start so I could not answer the calls. The in-coming phone number was all zeros. The phone became useless.
Resetting the phones did not work.
When I got back to the UK the phones were both still unresponsive - it was as if the phone app had been "infected" in Brazil and would now not work.
I backed-up one of the phone, restored the iPhone loading 8.1.3, restored from the backup and the problem remained.
The only fix that I have found is to completely rebuild the iPhone, not restoring from the backup.
What I don't understand is how connecting to a Brazillian phone network caused these issues and why the stayed when I was no longer connected to it! -

Confirmed on 7.0.4Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased.

TS3899 iOS email notification bug with exchange mail server
Hi,
Recently I noticed that my iPhone often plays new email notification sound but there is no new emails shown in notification centre and unread numbers on the email icon stays the same.
I have an email account set up and its connected to Microsoft exchange mail server, I have some sub-folders under my Inbox, I also have some rules set up to automatically move some non-impotrent emails to those sub folder.
Under fetch new data settings I choose push my inbox as default, but I didn't tick those sub-folders under my inbox.
Also under notification settings I have enabled everything for Mail app.
After some invistgation I found out that everytime this happens I have a new email in one of those sub-folders under my inbox, although it should only be updated manually..
Anyone have any Idea on how to prevent this from happening??While this is only a guess, I suppose that you have these rules set up at the server. The mail hits the inbox, and then is filtered to the sub-folder. I'm guessing that your notification comes from the mail arriving at the inbox, but before it is counted there, it has been moved to the sub-folder. Your opening mail allows the folder to get populated on the phone. I'm not sure if there is a cure for that, and again, that is pure conjecture on my part. Better than anything anyone else has posted.
