What I notice in the original post is this error
ARP: address resolution for 10.0.0.2 timed out.
which says that the router is looking for the 10.0.0.2 server but not getting response to its arp request. Can the original poster clarify for us how the device that has the image file is connected to the router that has the problem? Also what kind of device is 10.0.0.2? Is it a PC running TFTP server software or is it something else?

  • PoE for Cisco 1242AG and 1310G Access Points

    Dear All,
we purchased a Cisco 1242AG and a 1310G Access Point and in the DataSheet it was specified that these APs support Power-over-Ethernet. The problem is we don't see any RJ-45 port in either AP which could be used for connecting the AP to an PoE Switch. Can you please tell us how we can connect these APs to an 802.11af compatible PowerBridge (by Intermec) ? Thanks.

    Hi Thorsten,
    The 1242 should be good to go but the 1310 is powered quite differently. Have a look;

    Power
The access point/bridge receives inline power from the Cisco Aironet Power Injector (hereafter called the power injector). Dual-coax cables are used to provide Ethernet data and power from the power injector to the access point/bridge. The power injector is an external unit designed for operation in a sheltered environment, such as inside a building or vehicle. The power injector also functions as an Ethernet repeater by connecting to a Category 5 LAN backbone and using the dual-coax cable interface to the access point/bridge.
The power injector is available in two models:
Cisco Aironet Power Injector LR2 standard version (included with the access point/bridge)
    48-VDC input power
Uses the 48-VDC power module (included with the access point/bridge)
Cisco Aironet Power Injector LR2T optional transportation version
    12- to 40-VDC input power
Note The power injector and the power module must not be placed in an outdoor unprotected environment. The power module must not be placed in a building's environmental air space, such as above a suspended ceiling.

The Cisco Aironet 1300 Series Outdoor Access Point/Bridge Power Injector, converts the standard 10/100 BaseT Ethernet interface that is suitable for weather protected areas to a dual F-Type connector interface for coax cables that are more suitable for harsh outdoor environments. The Power Injector also provides power to the outdoor unit over the same cables with a power discover feature and surge protection. To support longer cable runs from your wireless network switch or router, the Power Injector LR is designed to accommodate up to a 100 meter coaxial cable run plus 100 meters of indoor cat5 cable?enabling total cable runs up to 200 meters. The Cisco Aironet 1300 Series Outdoor Access Point/Bridge ships with the Power Injector LR2 and an AC power supply.

    Hi,
Reports developed through sql developer are accessable through browser

As I said in your other thread: they aren't.
If you have a specific, well thought through request, log it at the SQL Developer Exchange.

  • Access C4 through browser

    Hi All,
How do I access Sun Storedge C4 through browser?
    Any specific port numbers?
    Ashraf.

    Hello Ashraf,
How do I access Sun Storedge C4 through browser?
    Any specific port numbers?
I would recommend to review the User's Guide that came with the C4. The Remote Management is described in Chapter 3 (may be different if Sun supplies their own manuals ..)
Basically you have use the front panel control (Network setup) to assign an IP address to the Remote Management (either an static IP address or use DHCP).
Enter http://IPaddress/ (where IP address is the IP address for the C4) to access the web interface.
You are asked for the username and password (use the default or the ones you assigned).
Unfortunately the documentation isn't available in the Sun System Handbook (SSH) nor on docs.sun.com. The web site of the original manufacturer was the rescue ...
I would recommend to open a service case with Sun to ask why these manuals (or a link/reference to the other web site) aren't available in the SSH.
When I asked the Sun Storage Division (some years ago) why the StorEdge L9 User's Guide wasn't included in the SSH, the document was added.
The Full Components List of the C4 (in the public SSH) lacks this note: Technical Support is supplied by Quantum.
Therefore this omission should be forwarded to the SSH team as well.

  • Cannot access Cisco MIBs via SNMPGET

Hello, I'm sure this is a simple fix and I'm too stupid to figure it out, but I'm having trouble accessing Cisco ACE specific OIDs via Net-SNMPs tools. If I run snmpwalk on the device, I get a nice list of standard SNMP OIDs such as SNMPv2-MIB, IF-MIB, IP-MIB, etc with values such as the device name, interface IP counters and all that stuff. But I don't see any Cisco specific OIDs in the list. I really want to be able to monitor the load across real servers and server farms and such on this ACE module.
So, for example, I try running the following command and it says no such object:
    snmpget -m +CISCO-SLB-MIB -On -v 2c -c communityname ipaddress CISCO-SLB-MIB::slbServerFarms
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.161.1.2 = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID
I read you should try adding an index to the OID as there may be multiple sub objects (and of course there are multiple server farms) but I get the same thing:
    snmpget -m +CISCO-SLB-MIB -On -v 2c -c communityname ipaddress CISCO-SLB-MIB::slbServerFarms.0
.1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.161.1.2.0 = No Such Object available on this agent at this OID
Just to confirm a valid OID, I get this:
    snmpget -m +CISCO-SLB-MIB -On -v 2c -c communityname ipaddress SNMPv2-MIB::sysDescr.0
.1.3.6.1.2.1.1.1.0 = STRING: Application Control Engine Service Module
I also tried snmptable with CISCO-ENHANCED-SLB-MIB::cesServerFarmRserverTable and it just says "Was that a table?"
So I think it must be a permission problem or some config that I have to tweak. Right now the only SNMP config is:
    snmp-server community communityname group Network-Monitor
    My device version info is:
    Software
      loader:    Version 12.2[120]
      system:    Version A2(1.4) [build 3.0(0)A2(1.4) adbuild_11:54:12-2009/03/05_/auto/adbu-rel2/rel_a2_1_4_throttle/REL_3_0_0_A2_1_4]

    Thank you for your help!

This is an interesting thread, and probably something which is unclear to a lot of people.  Tables and their entries (think header rows) are inaccessible because they do not contain data directly.  Data is only contained in the cells within the table.  The cells in this case are the SNMP objects defined within each table entry (or row).  So, a table is inaccessible as a whole, but each of its data cells can be accessed.
If you think of it like a spreadsheet, it may be a little more useful.  But let's try a visual.
    cesServerFarmRserverTable
    cesServerFarmRserverPort
    cesServerFarmRserverAdminWeight
    cesServerFarmRserverOperWeight
    80
    100
    100
    8080
    50
    10
The header row in this table is called cesServerFarmRserverEntry.  It contains the column names for our data.  Each row has a unique number associated with it.  That is the cseServerFarmRserverPort.  In a typical spreadsheet program, this would be the column at the far left which you cannot edit.  It just enumerates the rows.  In this example, that column is named cesServerFarmRserverPort.  If I wanted to tell someone how to get the value of cesServerFarmRserverAdminWeight at a particular row, I would say, "go to row 80, and read the value from the cesServerFarmRserverAdminWeight column.  In this case, they would read 100.
SNMP operates in the same fashion.  For one to get a specific value (i.e. perform an SNMP GET), one must know the specific column name and row number.  In the actual case of the cesServerFarmRserverTable, the row number is actually a combination of the slbEntity, slbServerFarmName, cesRserverName, and cesServerFarmRserverPort, but the concept is the same.  You can only do an SNMP GET on a precise address in a given table (i.e. on a cell).  To do a GET on cesServerFarmRserverTable directly would make no sense since an atomic value could not be returned.
An SNMP Walk, on the other hand, allows you to start with the table itself, then walk through each cell in the table, printing out the value at that cell.
A tool like snmptable essentially performs recursive GET-NEXT queries to walk through all of the rows, then print the value of each cell in a tabular format.

  • Viewing xsql files through browser

    Hi all,
a basic question regarding creating xsql files using jDeveloper...
Once created if I hit run, a Netscape browser pops up, accessing ...myhtml/WebAppRunner.html
this in turn pops up a new Internet explorer browser with the results of the database query as a temp xml file.
My question is that if I access the <file>.xsql through either browser directly (not using run in jdev) then I just get the textual contents of the file, I thought the database query would be automatically run and only the results shown?
I want to do simple queries, and be able to enter the filename (and ?paramters) in to the location bar within the browser but currently this doesnt seem to work. Do I have to change any properties or plug-ins for the browser?
All info gratefully received, regards from an Oracle developer having his first look at this funky xml-world!
    Julian

The query executes when you "run" the XSQL page through a Web server (JDeveloper includes a simple one-person Web server for development and testing) that invokes the underlying Java code. When you access the same XSQL page through the file system, the code doesn't execute, and, as you have seen, the browser displays the contents of the file.
To do the kind of testing you describe, you need a Web server, for example, the Web-to-Go server that comes with the XSQL Servlet, or Apache (it's free). OTN has some sample apps that show how to do this. See
    [list][*]WebStore B2B Exchange
    [*]XML Flight Finder[list]
    for more information.

  • Cisco 500 series switches

    Dear support,
Can Cisco 500 series switches deliver 24V on the access port for POE operation?
    Best Regards

I belive the 802..2F and 802.2at poe standard is strictly 48v.  I haven't found anything to the contrary.  There are inline convertes 48v-24v or something like this that can be used with a non poe switch: http://www.digital-loggers.com/poe24.html but that means all conected device would be off the same access port / vlan.
