Accessing packages from C++ app

Greetings,
I have a number of packages (with functions & procedures) that need to be accessed by a C++ client. Could someone send me example code (or a reference link) that would show how to access a function (retrieving the return value), and how to create and access a package procedure that will return a multi-row result set?

Java Web Start downloads the jars specified in the JNLP to a local cache and then loads the classes from the cache. If your driver jar is not downloaded, then of course the JVM can not find the driver class. Have you included the following line in your JNLP file?
<resources>
<extension name="Oracle Driver" href="driver.jnlp"/>
</resources>Of course this implies that you need to make a second JNLP file called driver.jnlp that points to your driver jar.

For that right click on the solution folder in Visual Studio, and you would find an option to create App Packages.

I am trying to access files from an app on my phone.

Every time I select "apps" in itunes, it stops and gives me a window that iTunes has stopped working and windows is looking for a solution to the problem.
I can access and manipulate everything else on my phone, except for the apps that are installed.

I cannot access the "store" from my music app on my 4S. From any of the screens a can push the button that says "store", the button does change shade to indicate it is being pushed, but nothing happens. No error message, nothing. I've updated the iOS, I've restarted the app. I've restarted the phone. 3G on, Wifi on, My apple ID works. I can use home sharing and write on this forum. I just cant access the store. I just moved to India, but I have bought music from iTunes on my iMac and MacBook pro. No problem. Thanks for your answers.

How can I create plugins for a Java app. And how do I need in my app to access those plugins??

Generally speaking, any sort of plugin is simply an implementation of some defined or set of defined interfaces that is loaded at runtime and invoked based on some event, configuration or other such mechanism. Java plugins can be implemented simply as .jar or individual classes that implement the interface(s). The application loads these (perhaps using separate, specifically defined class loaders) and is responsible for knowing how and when to invoke their method(s).
The trick, of course, is defining the interfaces to be supported by the app and implemented by the plugin and to define a set of events, etc. that would cause these to be invoked. The mechanics of loading the classes, instatiating the instances as need, etc. is fairly basic Java programming.

Accessing videos from other apps

I have two questions concerning videos.
1) I have videos that I transferred using iTunes from my computer to my iPad and videos that I downloaded using a free video app. The native Apple video app can't see the downloaded videos and conversely the free video app can't see the videos I transferred via iTurns sync. Is there a way to make a video app see all videos regardless of how it got loaded on the iPad? All videos are in the mp4 format.
2) How can I load avi videos from my computer onto my iPad? iTunes doesn't seem to recognize this video format. Using iCloud isn't a great option for me since my wifi is slow.

1) you'll need to use iTunes on your computer to bridge the gap between your two apps. Use iTUnes to make the downloaded ones visible in the video tab and vice versa (Since you can download I'm going to guess there is some sort of data transfer option to the video app.) You could also look into something like dropbox, see if you can uplaod them and download them into the right apps (although that may not work since the video app is pretty closed in to iTunes.)
2) convert those avi's to mp4's. There are free programs out there. For a PC, Format Factory, for PC and Mac, mpegstreamclip, both should convert. then you can use iTunes to move those converted videos into your video app.

And you set up your own new ID and account but can NOT access the updates, from the App store for the many apps that you already have, because they require that you sign in with that former now inaccessible ID and account and password? Call it a problem of modern times and changing relationships, if you want to be charitable.

So I guess it will only be new apps that I download that are allowed to give me their updates while 13 updates wait for me on an ID I can no longer access.

This is frustrating because I cannot add to those albums from mobile device, I have to add to them during a Mac sync. I would like to be able to use my iCloud albums to organize my photos but if I cannot access them from apps it seems pointless. I will end up having to maintain both an iCloud library and a separate iPhoto library which is more work that seems necessary. I want everything easy to organize and access. It seems like in this age where most people are more likely to use their mobile devices than their Macs (and some do not even own Macs) that there should be a mobile solution. Hopefully I am simply without a clue and you folks can help me out with a fix or a source of info as a solution. I have not found answers yet.

Every time that I tried to open it, in diagnostic and use create some files, in special one named LatestCrash-WifiSurvey.plist, this one generate an incident identifier E73B0164-CDFA-4E9E-839E-A0C021BD17A2, but this incident identifier change every time that I tried to open, the last incident identifier is: DE600EB3-AB57-4C33-8DE8-71F6788A7441.
After of it, I checked that the app had a new version available for downloading, I took a backup of my ipad and then upgrade this app, but is the same problem, all I want is to save the projects I had in this app, I´m afraid that if I delete this app and re-install it, probably I loss my projects.
Thanks for your help indicating how I can save my projects and see them for example in an iphone for assurance that data is not lost.
Something that called my attention is part of the log that shows a big CPU processing, but the strange thing is I killed all applications.

Having a problem with my Macbook (13", Late 2009 I believe) after attemption to update iOS to OS Mavericks. Have run into the grey screen of death, and have almost exhausted all options, including reseting pram, accessing fsck, and even using disk utility to reinstall the iOS. I believe that during the initial update (which is the root of the problem), there was some corruption within the directories which I believe can be contributing to my problem.
I was hoping to find a way to access my purchased apps from the app store on a windows computer so that I can make a USB boot drive in order to rule out the hardware problem that I am currently speculating.

Yes if you have the iPod and iTunes set up to sync via wifi. However, you have to do it from your one syncing computer and the iPod and computer have to be on the same network.

Where is the install package stored from the app store for Lion?

This is an all new way of deploying OS updates from Apple. From what I can see, this presents some issues:
1. Where is the install package that I bought from the app store, and how can I save that offline?
2. If there's a problem with my device in the future, I have no media of Lion to restart from- so what's the procedure to restore from a TM backup? Go back to 10.6, and then to the 10.7 update?
3. What if I want to boot from disc or a drive? I don't have a copy of the install to make a bootable image.

OK, once you install Lion the Installation Package gets deleted. However once you have installed Lion, do following:
- Open the AppStore Application
- With pressed Option (on German Keyboard ALT) Key klick on the "Purchased" Tab!
- You will now see that the prviously greyed out "Install" key for Lion becomes active
- Download the install package
- Do not start installation
- In order to create a bootable DVD or USB drive containing the installer follow instructions posted on
http://www.macworld.com/article/161069/2011/07/make_a_bootable_lion_installer.ht ml
This is how you can create installation media.
For maintenance options (means your Lion installation has some problems but your drive is still OK)
you can boot from the hidden recovery partitions that was created when you installed Lion.
To do so, press the Option (ALT) Key while booting. You will have now the option to boot from
Lion or recovery partition.
