Accessing Setup in Motorola QUIP 6416-2

I want to change the video options in my STB.  I cannot access the setup menu for the STB.  When I push the menu button, I get the FIOS menu not the STB menu.
How do I get to the STB setup menu?

there are two menus.
standard menu.   You have to have a picture, and then press menu.  it pops up.   if you have the older four button remote, you might have to hit the STB button first, and then menu.   what you are looking for is under, menu>settings>video settings.
2nd menu is a hidden menu.   you have to be in a powered on state with a picture, and you press power select menu -    not at the same time, but one at a time, about 1/2 second apart.  use the front display not the remote to access this menu

  • Accessibility Setup Assistant ruined the displayed text ?

I am using adobe reader 9.2. Today, out of the blue, a window popped up - Accessibility Setup Assistant. I opted for recommended settings.
Now all the text displayed is such bad... don't have words for it. See for yourself in the image below :
The text in the left pane is perfect while the right side is something which hurts the eye. I dont know why this is happening ? And why did I get that Accessibility Setup Assistant ? It was something I did not had to care about and reader displayed fine text.
Anybody knows whats happening please ?

  • Disable Accessibility Setup Assistant?

I am using the Adobe Customization Wizard utility to create a transform file to then install Adobe Reader 11.0.0.x via a group policy.  Upon first running the Reader after installing with the transform file the Accessibility Setup Assistant dialogue box appears.  Is there a way to either disable this or preset the accessibility options to take the recommended settings and skip the setup process using the customization wizard?

Posted too soon, I found it.
It's under the Advanced option in the Bluetooth menu in system preferences.

  • Home Network Setup Help ( Motorola & Linksys)

    Hi,
I need help configuring my home network, I have created a diagram using gliffy.com to help view my current setup.
Currently all wired and wireless computers connect to the internet successfully, that's with default settings. The only thing I have changed is the SSID and Wireless password.
I need help figuring out the settings I need to input for the Motorola and the Linksys Routers so all computers can find each other in the network.
I really don't know what the exact technical terms might be, but if you need more information I can gather it. Thank you!

    Thank you lordstag!! worked perfectly

    Before: 192.168.1.1
    After: 192.168.0.100

Connected network cable from Motorola LAN port 4 ---> Linksys LAN port 1, left the Internet port on the Linksys empty

Renewed the IP's of the clients
'ipconfig /release' to let go of the address.
'ipconfig /renew' to obtain a new IP address
This is how my network now looks and works
One last question, could this have been done using the Internet port on the Linksys Router?
I appreciate all the help, Thanks again !

  • Issue accessing Setup WRT54GS

I have 3 WRTGS routers,   1 connected to ADSL,,and the other two fanning out internet access ,via CAT/ and WLAN, in other offices in my house.
Other than basic stumbling getting the right configurations all has gone well.
When I only had 1 WRT54GS, no fanning out, I could easily get to the setup page on my laptop, any of my laptops as I have 5, and one desktop.
ISSUE: From my Desktop DELL Dimension 2400 (Broadcom 10/100 440x), the page loads SOOOOOO slowly if at all.
when I added the additional two WRT54GSs, the problem is even worse with them. I can get to the setup page, but when I click on other TABs in the setup.. IE gives up and can't connect to them.
I upgraded my DELL Lan drivers.. and no improvement,
Then I went to broadcom and got the latest driver from Broadcom since DELL's version was older.
No help.. no change.. behaves the same.
All 3 Linksys are differing model numbers all updated to their latest BIOS firmware.
any ideas.. MTU turned to manual at 1500.
I am going to give an external LAN controller a try next..
network performance seems ok.. from the DELL through the hub at 40mb/s..

    1)  Do you want to share printers, and also possibly files, with all computers on your network?  Or do you want 3 separate networks, with some routers setup for higher security?
    2)  Tell us more about how you have your routers setup and connected.  What Local IP addresses are you using?  Are DHCP servers on or off in each router?  How are routers wired - LAN port to Internet port, or LAN port to LAN port?
    3) What is the make and exact model number of your modem (not the router) ?

  • SL can't access setup for aluminum Bluetooth keyboard

Snow Leopard can't find my bluetooth aluminum keyboard when I click "Setup Bluetooth Keyboard..." button in Keyboard portion of the System Preferences. When I go to System Prefs and try to access the settings, SL just spins the progress wheel and times out. Here's the screen shot:
    http://img137.imageshack.us/img137/6061/screenshot20090904at420.png
I've tried removing batteries, deleting the keyboard from the Bluetooth prefs and then repairing it. Still, I cannot access my keyboard prefs.
    Anyone have some ideas?

I am having a similar problem. This problem was happening in Leopard and now also in Snow Leopard. So perhaps it is a bad keyboard.
    http://screencast.com/t/OXtBOeWA7
The thing is, it actually sees the MAC address. But that is only when I first turn on the keyboard. So perhaps it is only discoverable for about 1 second because when it tries to connect to the keyboard it always fails. Even if I turn it off and then back on while it is trying to communicate. Lame.

  • WRT54G Failure to access setup menu

Having an issue accessing my setup menu for my WRT54G wireless router. IP 192.168.1.1 times out and ipconfig/all from the command prompt reveals a different IP. I've tried logging in through the listed default gateway but that times out as well. I reset my WRT54G but I continue to time out. I have had this router connected to my DSL modem for some time with no trouble.
I wanted to check my setup menu because one of my laptops stopped connecting. I never got to troubleshoot that problem due to setup access problem. Only change to system is that the PC was moved today so power was disconnected to all devices. I'm still able to connect to internet via PC. I've power cycled all the devices multiple times with no fix.
    Any suggestions would be appreciated.

  • Cannot access setup page.

My wrt54g works but I cannot access the setup page. A partial page does appear but with no tabs. I am using W98SE. None of the available download software accepts w98 and this forum is definitely a work in progress.

I have and had the same problem now with 2 different versions of this model. What I have found is that it often messes up when you access the setup page with a 100 MB/Sec connection! Soetimes it works fine, others nyet. Totally wierd but the proof is in the pudding. Go into Network Connections, select "Local Area Connections" and right click for "Properties". Along side of "Connect Using" box on top is the "Configure" button. Click on that and then select the "Advance" tab. Somewhere under the "Property" list is an item for connection speed and type. Most of the time it is maxed out. Select that item and in teh value list box find "10 MB/Sec Full Duplex". Click OK to back completely out and you are done! Sometimes you may have to unplug the router to reset both ends. If this is your only connection to a network, like at home, don't even worry about reseting things back to 100 Mb/Sec. 10 Mb/Sec is plenty fast enough for the internet (Faster then the cable modem is feeding you). If you copy massive files between home PC's you might notice a slight speed hit. By massive I mean 10's of MegaBytes or more.

  • Can't Access Setup Menu For WRT54G

I am having problems accessing my wrt54g's setup menu. I went to the cammand prompt and it said the ip address was 192.168.1.1, but when I go into IE and type that in, it doesn't connect. I have accessed it before but it's not working now. Any suggestions?

    try this:
click on <tools>, go to <internet options>, go to <security tab> click on <curtom level button>, scroll down and at the very bottom make sure that "automatic log-on with curent username and password" is selected... click ok and try opening http://192.168.1.1 again in the browser's adress bar.. if not, go to RUN, type in the open field http://192.168.1.1 ,click ok and that should do it...

  • After setting up a new user on my Air, can I still access Setup Assistant to transfer files from my old Mac?

Only after setting up my user account on my new Air do I find out about Setup Assistant vs Migration Assistant. Since, I have tried Migration Assistant - via wireless - twice, to no avail. Both computers (new Mac and old) just stay busy looking for another computer on my network. All I really want to do is move/copy everything from my old Mac to the new Air. Suggestions? Miracles?  Thanks!
    Clay

You can do it wirelessly, but that will take some time... you could also purchase a Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter or a Thunderbolt to FireWire adapter. That would certainly be faster. You should be able to purchase either adapter at your local Apple Store or at the online Apple Store.
    Good luck,

  • OWA - Outlook Web Access setup in Mac Mail?

I can setup my company exchange email on my iPhone using the OWA server.
I can't seem to get it to work in Mac Mail.
The settings are very simplistic on the iPhone. What am I missing?
Is it not possible in Mac Mail?

Is your company exchange server running Exchange Server 2007 with service pack 2 rollup 4 or newer? I believe that that is what I read somewhere were the minimum requirements for OWA server in order for SL to be compatible with it. Also, and I could never figure out why, but when I set it up on my work laptop, I had to do it inside our corporate firewall. And I presume that for account type, you have chosen Exchange 2007 not Exchange IMAP? The only other thing that I could suggest is to doublecheck the server name with your I.T. Dept.

  • "The system cannot find the file specified" during Remote Access Setup Wizard

    Hi all
    Simple as that,
I configured a new DirectAccess environment on Windows Server 2012 R2 with 2 network adapters behind NAT
I used the advanced wizard to configure all the DirectAccess settings and everything seems to be fine
when I pressed "Apply" to finish the wizard and to automatically create the group policy settings I've noticed this error:
I restarted the server and tried again - still, same result.
there's nothing on the event viewer that points for an error, or what file exactly is missing (!?)
isn't there a log file of the DA Wizard to get more details on this error?
    Thanks

No error is reported in System or Application. However, if I drill down to RemoteAccess Management Client Channel, this is where I see the "Applying the configuration failed" and that the Event ID is 902. This is what lead me to this thread.
This is a virtual machine built solely for the purpose of DA (hence the server name DA). Running Windows 2012 R2 with all updates applied. GUI installed as I had to run through the Certificate MMC to create the computer certificate.

Internet connection works fine (hence this request for help ;-) but accessing setup utility (by entering address 191.168.1.1 of router) gives "page not found".
Even a ping to 192.168.1.1 responds with "time out".
Have tried 30sec hard reset .. no luck .. also from other pc with cable connection ...
Txs in advance for tips !

  • Setup.exe file can not by accessed by system

OS is WinXP Home SP3. When either installing complete all-in-one software from disc or downloaded rw2_021_w02_enu.exe, the install stops when trying to access Setup.exe "The File Can not Be Accessed from the System".Does anyone have a solution to this issue?

Hi , and welcome to the HP Forums! I see you are having software errors.  I would like to help! I would recommend removing the ink cartridges from the printer, and perform a power reset.  Disconnect the power cord from the printer and the power outlet, then wait 60 seconds. After 60 seconds, plug the printer back in. Ensure you plug the printer directly to a wall outlet. Make sure to bypass any sort of surge protector or power bar. I would then suggest Uninstalling the Printer Software. Once it is uninstalled, I would suggest putting your system into clean boot mode within the Microsoft configuration.  You can do so by following this document: How to perform a clean boot in Windows. Once the computer is in clean boot mode, I would suggest reinstalling the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows. Good luck and please let me know the results of your troubleshooting steps. Thank you for posting on the HP Forums!
