Accessing the original message body in Error handler

Hello everybody,
The loanGatewy3 proxy service in the OSB tutorial uses a stage in the request pipeline for validation. If a validation error occurs the error handler reports the original body message using a reporting action.
Now if an error happens inside the Routing node; and if an error handler is defined to report the original message ($body), the reporting action will report the error message not the original message. It seems that the $body variable contains the erroneous response instead of the original message. So is there a way to access the original request $body inside a node error handler?

you can always put the original message into a dummy variable $origMessage, then in the event of an error report on $origMessage not $body

I have a requirement from my clients.
Standard Functionality: When a Manager clicks on the APPROVE (button / link) to approve a workflow notification from a mailing application, a (response) mail gets composed to the Workflow Mailbox with the NID and Access Key. The content as shown below.

Requirement:
The requirement is that, when the Maanger clicks on Approve / Reject, the original message body also has to get populated into the response mail along with the NID and Access Key.There would be audits conducted(looking into the workflow mail box) on the approval / rejection decisions taken by the users. The intention of getting the originial message body is to identify, to which notification(or letter) this action was taken. Me, being a Technical person can get it from the Notification Id in the workflow mail box, but the people conducting the Audit cant identify that. So, I need to get the original message body into the response. This is the reason for the requirement.
Actually, I dont need the whole message body, but the value in an URL attribute, which is one of the SEND attributes of the notification in question.
fyi, It is a VOTING ACTIVITY and hence, I donot know how many users would get the notification.
I tried creating a RESPONSE Attribute(I understand that, a response attribute is an attribute where I accept inputs from the user), but couldnt assign the value to that attribute.

Sadly, I believe this will require a bit of development to make it happen. The project I'm on now...we are finding that to get it to do what we want it to do, a development to customize the email message to include all the case fields is required.

How can I change the mail settings so that every reply is listed individually in the inbox instead of having them "stacked" behind the original message. I'm afraid I might accidentially overlook messages the way they are handled now.

Somebody here will correct me if I'm wrong, but what you have to do is go into Settings, Mail/Contacts/Calendars and under Mail, turn off "Organize by Thread". I think that will make each message show individually.

How to pass custom parameters to the Notification message body in a process

Hi All,
We are migrating from ORACLE workflows to Oracle OWB process flows as part of upgrade to Oracle 11g R2. Earlier in workflow notification mesages we could attach custom attributes (eg X_NAME) and reference the custom attributes in the notification message body (&X_NAME) to dynamically build the message body as per the custom attribute values.
I tried to add a cutom parameter X_EMAIL_ID to a OWB process notification activity and trying to pass it to the notification message body by giving the value "This message is from &X_EMAIL_ID" in TEXT_BODY. But when I get the notification message it shows only "This message is from" and it does not show anything about X_EMAIL_ID.
Please advise Please help us if anyone have used any workaround to dynamically populate the TEXT_BODY in a notification activity based on custom parameters.

Hi David,
Thank you for your suggestions. When I try to bind the variable to the notification activity parameter TEXT_BODY I get this error - VLD-10035: The value of parameter TEXT_BODY in a NOTIFICATION activity must be a literal value, bindings or expressions are not allowed. It looks like the text_body can have only literal values. Could you please advise if you received any such error or how could you resolve them.

I can't get itunes update to download and install properly. I get the following message Error7(windows error 26) what can I do

I recently tried to downlad the itunes update but it would not install properly and now I have no access to itunes and all my music. I get the following messages - Error7(windows error 26) and This applicaiton has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Can anyone help me fix this issue. I have a Hewlett Packard Computer and Vista. Thanks

Similar issues here.
I purchased five movies for download and having nothing but problems getting them downloaded. I keep receiving error messages and the download stops and I have to restart it, just to get another minute worth of download with each restart. Now Apple has my money and I have nothing.

Attach Application Acknowledgement to the original message

Hi Experts,
We implemented enterprise service to JMS scenario, we want to implement application acknowledgements back from the receiver, they going to publish the error message or successfull message in to JMS queue, PI needs to pick up the message from the queue and needs to send it to the receiver, they going to send original PI message id back with error.
How can i attach the application acknowledgement to the original message like system acknowledgement with green status if it is success, red with error status, i need to see two acknowledgement messages in sxi_monitor one is for system acknowledgement and one is for application acknowledgement.
If anyone implement this befere can you please suggest me how to do this.

What it seems (logically) that I need to do is to get rid of whatever is preventing Mail from showing me on the "bad" iMac what it can show me on my other devices. That is, it seems that Exchange "knows" that a particular 'sent' message is a 'reply to' a particular received message. But one of my Apple machines is for some reason unable to capture that information and show it to me. Something must be in the way, and if I could get rid of everything that the Exchange account wrote to my machine, then it seems that if I then were to re-add that account, as if to an out-of-the-box machine, it should work.

Do you mean to upload or use in another app or some such?
There are many, many ways to access your files in iPhoto: You can use any Open / Attach / Browse dialogue. On the left there's a Media heading, your pics can be accessed there. Command-Click for selecting multiple pics.
(Note the above illustration is not a Finder Window. It's the dialogue you get when you go File -> Open)
You can access the Library from the New Message Window in Mail:
There's a similar option in Outlook and many, many other apps. If you use Apple's Mail, Entourage, AOL or Eudora you can email from within iPhoto.
If you use a Cocoa-based Browser such as Safari, you can drag the pics from the iPhoto Window to the Attach window in the browser.
If you want to access the files with iPhoto not running:
For users of 10.6 and later: You can download a free Services component from MacOSXAutomation which will give you access to the iPhoto Library from your Services Menu.
Using the Services Preference Pane you can even create a keyboard shortcut for it.
For Users of 10.4 and 10.5 Create a Media Browser using Automator (takes about 10 seconds) or use this free utility Karelia iMedia Browser
Other options include:
Drag and Drop: Drag a photo from the iPhoto Window to the desktop, there iPhoto will make a full-sized copy of the pic.
File -> Export: Select the files in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Export. The dialogue will give you various options, including altering the format, naming the files and changing the size. Again, producing a copy.
Show File: a. On iPhoto 09 and earlier: Right- (or Control-) Click on a pic and in the resulting dialogue choose 'Show File'. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected. 3.b.
b: On iPhoto 11 and later: Select one of the affected photos in the iPhoto Window and go File -> Reveal in Finder -> Original. A Finder window will pop open with the file already selected.

Text appears in the middle of the original message when replying

Has anyone had this problem? When replying to an email the reply message text appears right in the middle of the detail header of the original message. Here is an example:
Original Message:
From: Jane Doe
"Yes 2PM at Market Place works for me."
To: Tawnbi
Sent on xx/xx/2007, Friday, etc.
Hey! How about 2PM tomorrow at Market Place?
Okay. The text "Yes 2PM at Market Place works for me" was the reply. Why didn't it appear above the detail header to the original message? The rep at Apple Store in Chicago said he's only had one other customer with this problem. The email is being accessed through Outlook Web Access. Has anyone had this problem? That folder with the question mark icon means that the MacBook can't find the boot directory. That can either mean it can't find the hard drive or the Operating System data on the hard drive is somehow corrupted.
Put your install DVD into the optical drive and reboot. As soon as you hear the boot chime, hold down the "c" key on your keyboard (or the Option key until the Install Disk shows up). That will force your MacBook to boot from the install DVD in the optical drive.
When it does start up, you'll see a panel asking you to choose your language. Just press the Return key on your keyboard once. It will then present you with an Installation window. Completely ignore this window and click on Utilities in the top menu and scroll down to Disk Utility and click it. When it comes up is your Hard Drive in the list on the left?
If it is then click on the Mac OS partition of your hard drive in the left hand list. Then select the First Aid Tab and run Repair Disk. The Repair Disk button won't be available until you've clicked on the Mac OS partition on your hard drive. If that repairs any problems run it again until the green OK appears and then run Repair Permissions.
If your hard drive isn’t recognized in Disk Utility then your hard drive is probably dead.

Yesterday,I downloaded an update for Lightroom 5. Now when I try to import, I receive the following message: "An internal error has occurred: not enough memory". The message comes up right after I click import, before I choose a file to upload.Here is the information I can think of that might be needed to answer this question:
- I always download my photos onto an external hard drive.It is about 10 % full.
- It says I have Lightroom 5.6 64 bit
- I am working from a newer laptop (Windows). The internal drive on the laptop has 289 gb and I am using 61 gb total memory.
- I have edited 2794 photos in Lightroom and it is all in one catalog.
- I did not have this problem until I made the update. I did have my first "bug" earlier this week when one of my photos had a line show up through the middle of it when I exported it. I was able to export it a second time without the line.
If there is more info. needed, let me know. I do photography as a hobby and know enough about Lightroom to edit out blemishes and adjust color balance, but not too much more, so forgive my ignorance if this is an obvious fix.

Not Enough Memory typically refers to RAM. How much RAM do you have on your 64-bit OS computer? Do you have other programs running that may be using most of the memory?

I am so upset. Please read my messages from my postings. This has nothing to do with SIM Card, Hard Reset, Apps, Google Gmail Account, nothing. I have gone thru all of this and NOTHING has fixed this. I went to the store today and spoke to the manager on duty. He said he had to try and duplicate the problem before he could help me. I showed him "screen captures" I did, told him it's out here on the board, etc. etc. Needless to say I ended up coming home with the same phone, "he" erased the phone and started over again. Well guess what, it's not a error with "MY" Gmail account being corrupted because if that is the case Mrs. Hayden14 has a bad Gmail account too. If you guessed it, the phone just crashed again! I was able this time to capture a report with ALL the history in it and saved screen captures to PROVE to him this is not a joke. Even the report says "Crash". This time it was something else I don't even or ever have used. I have also wasted over a day , yes a full work day on this without question.
I have had to get the run around for the last day. This is totally ridiculous, including them putting me on hold for 55 min. Oh, that's another funny story. Anyways, tomorrow morning I am going to the Verizon store one last and final time and I hope they decided to do the right thing and give me a phone that does not crash and works. It would be handy at work for me, especially where I work at. I hope hope hope someone listens to and helps me. I would love for them to see me walk in, take my phone and say to me were going to get you another phone, hand it to me, see if it works and prove it's the device. I don't hear anyone having this issue on other phone types so sounds like its the phone type.
I have had 3 phones now in the matter of 2 weeks. I am sure the FedEx charges will add up to a cost of a new phone at some point and start to outbalance your requirement to give me the same phone when it has the same problem.

How can you display all the messages in a thread, showing the original message on top instead of at the bottom?

They suggested I use Internet Explorer. Would prefer to use my old version of Firefox. How do I get it back? Or how can I get my hotmail account to work properly with the 3.6.3 version?

in iPhoto there is option to revival in finder to see the original and modified photos so can we see the these type photos or revival in finder in new photos app?

Or Option - drag the photo to the Desktop.
