Reason:
Operational chart of accounts: Day to day transacations
Country chart of Accounts: Tax purpose
Group chart of Accounts: Consolidation purpose

1) value and qty updation tick for the relevant plant in the material type config.
Logistics - General - Material Master ->> Basic Settings ->> Material Types ->> Define Attributes of Material Types ->> Select material type ->> Click on Quantity/value updating.
Check whether tick is set for the relevant plant. If not, set it.

SAP EBS error - Same Bank Account number for 2 different Account ids
Hi,
My client maintained the same Bank Account number for 2 different Account Id's within the same housebank.
He has maintained Account id HELCO ( Local cheques) and HEICO ( International Cheques) and assigned same Account Number for both in the same house bank.
I am getting error " "same bank account exists in several company codes -> see long text, Message FB757" while uploading EBS file ( BAI2 format) due to this..
How do I resolve the issue.

I too faced this kind of situation when i am dealing with multi cash format file
As far as i know when you are dealing with EBS, system will check account key and account number that is present in the bank file
Please check the entries in T012K table with bank key and bank account number
You should not have more than one entry with the combination and i am surprised that even though you have different bank key for the same account number you got this message..
I request you to check the T012K table entries and make sure that no duplicate entries exists with the bank key and bank account number combination

EBS upload wrong G/L account determination for incoming payments
Hello,
I´ve got problem with G/L account assignment in EBS upload.
Client has 3 company codes 6250, 6251 and 6300. For each CC several bank accounts.
Company codeHouse banks and Bank acccount ID is 1:1, one house bank - one bank account ID.
House banks have the same names in company codes, also the Bbank Account IDs are the same in CC.
CC 6300 has G/L accounts for bank settlements:
Main: 13102211
Incoming: 13106271
Outgoing: 13106272
Account symbol mask is +++++6+1 for icoming payments (transaction type: incoming)
main / incoming
While uploading EBS for cc 6300 system post incoming payments as 40: 13102211 / 50: 13106211
13106211 is wrong G/L account (it should be 13106271 ) and in CC 6300 is not defined, it is account from company code 6250.
Could someone please tell me how the system determine the G/L account for icoming payments? Where to make the config?

LubosYou account digits logic is little unclear. Thats why it is always important have the proper logic while formulating the accounts.
For example
If the main account is
120300 (ending with 0)
120301 (Cheque Payable Sub account 1)
120302 (Cheque Receivable Sub Account 2)
Now you can mask
+++++1 for Cheque Payments
+++++2 for Cheque Receipts
But, you said, you
main account 13102211 and incoming subaccount was 13106271
If I understand correctly
the masking should be ++++6271
Otherwise
+++67+ -

I am trying to give some account number in open / close posting period window. From acount field (Lower limit of the G/L account numbers ) is not accepting the value. I have also tried with ZZZZZ and many other options. Can any one help what could be he reason ?

1, For account group the error may be comimg because already data is created. In lower limit donot enter ZZZZZ as it is considered as the highest value. You can try the lowest account number.
2. Creating a role is job of bais based on the FICO tcode given by FICO consultant. For special privilages to a role you can ask to basis guy to create a separate role and assign to user.

If you click on the message you will get help, it will show you exactly which entry in the auto account assignment table is missing. Note the details (COA valuation area etc.) then at the bottom of the message is a link to take you into the transaction where you can make the appropriate settings (assuming that you have access and this is not your production live system).
CASI may well be yyour chart of accounts and DIF is the transaction event key. The system needs to know which GL to post to in this situation.

Error creating accounting document for a credit note
Hi All,
I am facing an issue while creating an accounting document for the credit note created.
The scenario is as follows:
Created a credit memo --> created credit note --> create accounting document
While creating accounting document, i'm getting an error message as 'The G/L account XXXXXXXX requires an assignement to CO object'.
Please let me know why i'm getting this error and how to overcome this issue.

i'm getting an error message
First of all, I am not clear on your above statement as in normal circumstances, once you generate a credit memo, in bacground an accounting document will also be generated.
In your case, I believe while saving the credit memo, system throws the error to maintain CO object in which case, do the following:-
Go to TCode KA02 enter the controlling area, give the G/L acoount No and click on Master data tab. There select "Default Acc Assgmnt" tab and enter Cost centr and save.
Next Go to FS00, input the G/L Account and click on Edit Cost Element on top. There click on Basic Data and for the field CElem category, maintain the required numeric value. Now select the tab Default Acct Assgnmt and there maintain the required cost center and save.

Accounting document for Excise Invoice
Hi,
Accounting Document generated for Excise Condition types.We do not want to generate Accounting document for Excise Invoice.
We have marked the Excise Condition types JEXP,JECP,JA1X as Stastical in Pricing procedure & also not assigned the Account Keys for the same.
How to make other settings for non generation of Accounting document for Excise Invoice.It's a Domestic scenario.

Instead of creating the Excise Group i have created the Sub Trasaction type (DS) ETT Type DLFC.
In SPRO Specified the Excise Account per Excise Transaction DLFC & DS.
Also Specified G/L Accounts per Excise Transactions.
Excise Grp (P2),ETT (DLFC),Company Code (MU51),Chart of Accts(XXX),all the G/L Accounts kept BLANK.
While creating the Excise Invoice thor.J1IIN,if i put Sub Transaction type DS then the system gives the following error.
Excise modvat accounts not defined for DLFC transaction and excise group
Message no. 8I402

Now could anyone tell me what kind of account is cenvat suspense account i.e., current asset or current liability.
Like wise can anyone help me out with the entries of excise invoice creation, TR6C Challan, Entries for Fortnightly utilization etc. that is all the entries until that particular sale is completed.
It would be greatly useful if you could even specify the kind of account is (for each account possibly) i.e, if the account is an expense or current asset or current liability.

Account determination for FI-MM Integration not possible

When I am doing GR for an order the system throw an error Account determination for INT BSX__ __ Valuation class(FINI) not possible. I have checked the configuration in OBYC & find that in GBB Ram material consumption A/c has assigned in P/L nature without automatic posting.
In BSX Inventory change A/c in the nature of B/S with automatic posting allowed have been maintained
In GBB Consumption A/c in the nature of P/L without automatic posting have been maintained
Then what is the exact problem Tell me Gurus

HI, I'm trying to GR a PO for a material using movement type 101 and am getting the following error
"Account determined for entry (chart of accounts no) WRX 0003 not possible"
I know that I need to go to OBYC to make an entry for transaction WRX for valuation group code 0003 and valuation class and then assign it to the relevant gl.
My problem is I don't know what the valuation class should be. In the PO there is short text entered for the item rather than a material number so I cannot go to the material master to check what valuation class is assigned. Is it linked anywhere to the material group?

I am implementing sales from Factory. I am unable to creat accounting document for my Outgoing excise invoice. When I click the Utilization button, The excise invoice type is selected Deemed.
1. How to control which Which Excise invoice type should be selected in J1IIN.
2. For Deemed exports will system not genererate Accounting document for Excise Invoice?
3. Where to view the excise invoice document types (Like Billing and order types)

-Accounting documents will not get generated. (ref: Excise Acct Determination in CIN settings, you will not find Excise Tranraction type:ARE3 for which G/L account will not be assigned)
-Excise Invoice type will be automatically triggered based on configuration : Excise Group / Series Group detetermination.
- For Deemed Exports , only Quantity will get updated in RG1, but not the value. thats the reason, accounting document will not get generated.
- This excise invoice is created, for - to update the RG1 registry / ARE3 creation.
