My account was suspended twice due to a fraud transaction that I reported with my credit card company. The first time account suspension was reasonable and fortunately unblocked in the end after a long conversation with online support representative. But for the second time... the second representative Cyra Mae G. Was not helpful at all. How would I be able to provide all the "correct answer" from your list of questions without any reference from my emails and account page? And not letting me know which question(s) were incorrect! Please unblock my account since my paid subscription hasn't been expired and now I'm not be able to use the service that I've paid for! Thank you.

    Hello!
    I have contacted ''customer support'' twice about my hacked account - answer I have received left me baffled and angry as apparently I have not passed security checks - yet I have passed them when giving the same answers to un-suspend my account!
    My account was hacked on the night of 5th July, approx. 3-3.30am on Sunday.
    Person who hacked it tried to make continuous purchases (I believe at around 100 pounds in total) using stolen credit cards Visa and Eurocard/Mastercard (Mastercard is still attached to my account as whoever did it just left it there).
    They have tried to call numbers in Turks & Caicos and in British Virgin Island.
    I have asked ''customer support'' to trace it and deal with it, as in today's day and age it could be terrorist or contract killers using other people's accounts to make their dealings, but both times I was told I have not passed security checks and they won't deal with it.
    I do not remember when I've open Skype account, sorry it was years ago.
    I also have only 3 contacts on my Skype list from form required 5 (I simply don't need any more).
    I have contacted Action Fraud UK in this matter and have made a report. I have report number which I send to ''customer support'' with my second message.
    Action Fraud UK have advised me to contact ''customer support'' again and ask again to deal with this unpleasant matter - again ''customer support'' refused.
    I am really angry about it and if ''customer support'' (Skype should change their name as they are not supportive nor customer orientated) do not want to deal with it then I would appreciate for someone to close my account as in that case I won't nothing more to do with company who does not take matters like this seriously!

    My Skype account was suspended by MS without any reason, I am 100% sure I have not violated any terms and conditions or even done anything out of the ordinary with my Skype accout.
    I have contacted customer support on multiple occations and they keep telling me to fill out the account recovery form. Every time I do this they email me back saying to fill out the account recovery form if I want to recover my account, so I am stuck in an infinite loop. The customer service representatives don't even seem to be real humans as they just give a canned reply and don't tell me how to fix this issue. There is no phone number to talk to a real human being so I am now stuck without access to my account and Skype has stolen my money since there was credit on the account.
    I will never purchase another Microsoft product again if this is how Microsoft treats their customers, I already own both Mac and PCs and I will simply use Mac from now on. Apple would never treat their customers with such distain.
    Microsoft, time to own up to your massive failing in this matter and resolve the issue.

  • Hosting Account Suspended and iTunes Podcast Feed Altered

    Months ago my company had our web hosting account suspended because we forgot to update our credit card info. Our web hosting company suspended our account without notice, and iTunes pinged our podcast feed while the site was suspended.
    The iTunes feed now directs to the generic "account suspended" URL that our former web host made our site redirect to. I can't inset a tag into the code of this page because I do not have access to it. I've contact the company's support several times about it, but no response. I've contacted Apple about it and all I receive are general answers about redirecting a feed.
    Is there any way to resolve this issue without creating a new podcast feed under a new name, losing all subscribers, ratings, and comments?

    Unless you are able to persuade Apple to change the feed manually - and it sounds as if you can't - I'm afraid that is your only option. It's a serious weakness in the iTunes Store system that changing the feed URL method can't be used when the original feed can't be accessed.

  • Account suspended through error- customer service  not accessible !

    Verizon just sunk to new lows.
    I asked to port a number from my VOIP provider I wanted to part from to my Verizon account and replace my existing number 
    with this new number.
    After VW customer "service" took the order, my account was suspended, I cannot log onto the web site, I cannot contact the customer " service" and my balance of $345.- ( it ids a prepaid account ex Alltel ) disappeared !!!.
    Whenever I try to reach the customer " service" whenever I put my phone number it disconnects me. I tried for 2 hours( !!!)  via New Sales to get hold of somebody but they just transfer you back to the menu or to some not working extension and that's it.
    No phone, no voicemail, no account and 345.- $ gone.  Is this the wireless flagship of the USA ???
    Yes, I can waste my time and talk to those apes in the store but that will be even worse.
    Does anyone know what to do here ?

    Final update :  Yesterday night I was contacted by CS by e-mail ( so they do use e-mail-sometimes) and told that my Alltel account would be reinstated I only needed to send a consent to service interruption which  did.  
    Nothing happened, so I expected the same old, but today, a couple of hours ago, I received an e-mail confirmation with request to activate through certain steps. Something went wrong, so I had to call in again, but during the call things cleared up .
    Now my account is restored, balance is back phone is working, for the 3rd time suspended web access reinstated and the only thing left is to set up my voice mail box again.
    So, 8 calendar  days, 16 net working hours on my side  later, this issue has finally been SOLVED

  • My experience of Playbook and RIM customer support

    On Oct 26, 2012, I purchased BlackBerry 32G Playbook from
    The Source. I contacted BlackBerry support on Dec 27, 2012 as I was having problem charging it using the charger that came
    with the Playbook. The charging cable connects to charging port on the playbook
    very loosely and it doesn’t seem to make good stable contact. After some
    troubleshooting over the phone, I was told to ship the Playbook for repair.
    I was issued an RMA. The Playbook was sent on
    Jan 7, 2013 to Lavergne, TN for repair. I received the playbook on Jan 14, 2013
    from Lavergne, TN. It came with no note as what was the problem and how it was
    fixed.
    On receiving, I soon found out that I still cannot charge
    the unit. Called BlackBerry Support again. I was frustrated with same questions
    from call center person and she hang up on me. I called them back and it was a
    different person. Customer Service representative told me that they cannot see
    what repairs if any were done by their facility in Lavergne, TN. I was issued a
    new. One more time, the unit was sent back to Lavergne, TN for
    repair on Jan 21, 2013. This time, I put a note with Playbook for repair
    department to notify me as what was the problem and how it was fixed.
    The unit came back from Lavergne, TN on Jan 28, 2013. There
    was no note as what was wrong with the unit and how it was fixed. I soon found
    out that unit is still not charging. Called the BlackBerry Customer Service
    again and I was very frustrated at their sheer inability to fix the problem.
    After a very long unpleasant conversation, I was told that they will put a hold
    on my credit card and will send me a replacement unit. To avoid being charged,
    I need to send my Playbook in 10 business days.
    Since I’m out options, I grudging agreed. They couldn’t even tell me if
    the replacement unit is going to be a new or refurbished. I was issued new RMA.
    I received the replacement Playbook on Jan 30, 2013. Thought
    my troubles were over finally. But then I tried my charger to charge the
    replacement Playbook and the chargers cable won’t fit into the Playbook. So I
    called Customer Service again, this time demanding my money back and they can
    have their Playbook back.
    So far I tried three BlackBerry chargers and none of them
    cannot charge the Playbook. Every time, I called Customer Service, I was told
    to troubleshoot the problem myself. A customer service representative that hang
    up on me told me to go to any nearby store, borrow a charger from store to see
    if my Playbook would charge.
    The entire month of the Jan 2013 I didn’t get to use the
    Playbook. Since I cannot charge Playbook, I cannot use it at all. I got to use
    it for less than 2 months and I spent over $200 for a lemon, a horrible
    customer/technical support and very long headaches. I had to take Tylenol after
    every call to BlackBerry customer service.

    Is your PlayBook in a case by any change? I have a friend who had his in a case. When he tried charging it, the plug would not fit in properly and would not charge. Apparently, the hole cut in the case was just a bit too tight so the plug would not go in all the way. He had to remove it from the case in order to charge it up.

  • Please help my 12 year old, customer support was no use.

    We cannot download apps directly to Ipod via WiFi but CAN download them directly to computer. Ipod states "account disabled." We have verified that all the account info on the computer ITune page is the exact same as on the Ipod for purchasing purposes. We have updated the Ipod and restarted it with no luck. Not sure if I want to risk restoring it (for risk of losing everything) but that may be what we have to do. Any idea's on what ITunes means by saying account disabled on the Ipod?

  • Random Dropping and POOR CUSTOMER SUPPORT

    So I've had this issue for about 2 years. Yeah, 2 years.
    We've had countless calls with BT, countless emails etc. Nothing is working! 
    Whenever I call the BT centres now, I refuse to do these pointless tests, as they provide no accurate result, I also cannot explain what the situation is fully to them, because they don't understand me. 
    The internet will randomly drop once or so every five minutes, sometimes it'll be a full internet drop, or sometimes it'll be heavy packet loss. It happens on all devices, wired and wireless, desktop pc's to phones. 
    We've been given discounts on our packages, however they are useless discounts as we are still having major troubles connecting to the internet.
    We've recently noticed a new occurrence, whenever our internet drops, we also lose connection to the hub settings manager. Bare in mind this happens on all devices at the same time. Lights on the hub remain blue, and the speeds on our hub settings page will also remain at 448kbps up and 7mbps down.
    I'm really losing the remaining patience I have fast, the call centres don't have a clue what they're doing, today I was talking to the floor manager who even booted me offline to do a test without my approval, which I find unacceptable.
    I also find it unacceptable that there is no English call centre, as, not being rude, but it's really hard to understand the foreign call centres, and they find it hard to understand you as well.
    So, does anyone here have any resolutions to the internet drops, as we're out of ideas. 
    (bt claim that the line from the exchange to my hub is *totally* fine)

    I understand your reluctance to do the test requested by CS but in order for the forum members to help please can you post the adsl stats from your router you may need to 'show detail' to get all stats (if hub enter 192.168.1.254 in your browser and navigate to adsl or if HH4/5 then go to troubleshooting then logs and you are looking for 2 line together when hub last connected to internet and they will show your connection speed and noise margin or if netgear enter 192.168.0.1). Then run  btspeedtester  (MAC users may have problems). when first test completes then run diagnostic test and post the results ( do not reset the router).
    which hub do you have?
    are you connected directly via a filter to the NTE5 master or test socket or to somewhere else? Is the master the only phone socket in your home?
    Have you tried the quiet line test? - dial 17070 option 2 - should hear nothing - best done with a corded phone. if cordless phone you may hear a 'dull hum' which is normal

  • Bogus Account Changes And Charges + Lack of Support

    This is a formal dispute of my charges per your agreement, although you have done away with any means to email you as stated in said agreement.  Your customer service is not willing to assist me with this.  You have made unauthorized changes to my account, you have for months charged erroneously to my account per these unauthorized changes, you recommended an incorrigible phone, your web site is notoriously difficult for users, and your customer support is aggravatingly difficult to get in touch with.   At one point some companies grow too big and begin to ignore their customers.  Has Verizon reached that nexus?
    1.  Since my bill dated 5/24 - 6/23, 2013 you have erroneously charged for texting on the phone ending in 1675.  You turned on text messaging on this phone without my authorization.  I made it very clear in my discussion with your rep. on 6/10/13 that this phone was NOT to have text messaging.  That rep. blocked "Premium Messaging" which I am now told does not allow to block other text messaging.  To the user a text is a text is a text.  It doesn't matter what you want to call it.  I said at that time NO text messaging on that phone period!  The user of that phone was not aware that I did not authorize it and thought it was a normal course as most users now have and use texting.  NOT on that phone.  I made that clear to Verizon.

    2.  Since my bill dated 2/24 - 3/23, 2013 you have erroneously downloaded applications for mobile email and college pix to the phone ending in 4010.  On Jun 10, 2013 I talked to that same rep. about this and was told that it was taken care of in that it was turned off and the charges would be refunded.  It was not!  The apps are still there.  This user absolutely DOES NOT go to the internet on this phone.  There should be NO data charges, and NO app downloads, and no relationship to the internet whatsoever.  For that matter neither does the phone ending in 0016 and I explained that at the time also.  THESE ARE PHONES ONLY.  We have computers for the internet.  Your service support supervisor on 10/10/13 suggested that the user of this phone has downloaded them and I will tell you that is false.  More about this phone in number three below.

This "Pantech Jest" is a piece of junk phone.  Your rep. suggested it for this user.  She has had nothing but difficulty in attempting to answer this phone nearly from the start.  We call her and and she either cannot hear or cannot answer (the button just does not work).  I doubted her until I tried it.  The store blew her off.   I have witnessed this phone arbitrarily dialing from in her purse.  Could this phone also then be activating the internet?  I would bet on that.  I was not told on 6/10/13 by your rep. that we would have to remove the apps from her phone.  The very same apps that she didn't download in the first place. Neither did the rep. whom I spoke with on 10/10/13 say so.  It was the supervisor I spoke with on 10/10/13 who finally told me that I would have to remove them to fix your error.
    4.  Your website is extremely difficult to navigate.  I am returning to paper billing and will conduct business outside of your website.  For example, the supervisor I spoke to on 10/10/13 told me that I could find the documents that she swore were sent to me by "snail" mail.  I went to where she told me and got a nonsensical "archive" site called "Page Freezer" that seemed more like a communication news web site than a storage place for documents.  It took me a good while to locate the agreements to which she referred.  By the way, just as I told that supervisor, I have not received ANY snail mail from Verizon whatsoever since I went paperless online.

We can definitely take a look at the bill,  notations, and individual phone features. I would love to help a long time customer figure this out and make things right again. Additionally, I love the Pantech Jest and I'm sad to hear you are having issues with it. We do our best to suggest the best phone for our customers but it is ultimately up to you as the consumer to purchase what you think is best. If the phone is having calling and functionality issues, we can trouble-shoot to help get them resolved. If the phone is dialing randomly, I recommend locking it. If the button is not working, we may need to discuss replacing the phone. Is the device damaged? We also can not download apps to a  phone. The user of the device can only download apps to a phone and if there are unauthorized apps its because they put them on the phone. Yes, you will need to remove apps from a phone so they are not used. I know this is difficult and  you have spoken to other reps who were trying to help you but I want to let you know that you are a priority to us and if cost is important to you, its important to us.
