Accounts getting disabled after enabling password expiration on BOXI R2 SP2

Hi All,
We have a strange issue with our production environment.After enabling password expiration on the enterprise some accounts got disabled,on further investigation I found that these users were either trying to log on to Designer or 2 tier Deski.
I made them login through the Infoview to fix the issue.These users were Universe deginer or report writers.
Any Suggestions

These accounts are Enterprise accounts,according to the users they were not given a chance and they never got any prompt for the password change it was disabled directly at the first login.
These people were trying to logon using the Desginer or 2 Tier DESKI login and they are the members of the Administrtor Group also.
Is it important to logon to infoview or 3 tier DESKI to change your password?
I have no answer to give them why there accounts were disabled.

If you have tried Apple's recommendation to reset your password, and it has not succeeded, then I suggest you contact Apple using the Express Lane (select your country, navigate to iCloud help and enter the serial number of one of your devices)

Clicking on the link for the form does nothing but take to the Password Retrieval page. After That, all it does is make me change my password. How does that "enable" my account !? THERE IS NO FORM TO FILL OUT ! WHERE IS THE FORM ! WHAT IS THIS FORM? Need better details on "EXACTLY" "IN DETAIL" what to do do and what to expect in order to enable the account again. How many times do I have to change my password? Your "click here and fill out the form" link does not take you to a form.

Remove the help-desk access to user objects and see if it gets disabled again or not. :)
If you have third party tools which manage user accounts, review their configuration. FIM for example is one of the tools that has authority to disable/enable the accounts. Also If I had no clue what is going one I would enable auditing on user objects and
filter my security event viewer for user changes to see who is disabling them.

How to disable ISE CLI password expiration

ISE version 1.1.1 patch5 running on VMware.
I got locked out yesterday due to password expiration and had to recover the CLI "admin" password using the recovery DVD.
How can I disable this "stupid" feature from ISE?

There is no password expiration on the CLI. There is a default password aging set to 45 days for the GUI, you can disable this by going to Administration > Admin Access > Authentication > Password Policy > Password Lifetime.
If you are experiencing issues with the cli account then you need to raise this issue with TAC.

Getting error after enabling the Transaction in SSIS package in Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard machine

Hi,
I created a package with "Execute SQL Task and Data Flow Task". I am able to execute successfully in my server having
"Windows Server 2008 R2 Standard" Operating System.
But after enabling the Transaction in my SSIS Package I am not able to execute it. It is giving error. The same package is running in my local machine with Transaction enabled on
Windows 7 Operation System.
The error which I got in my server after enabling the Transaction is
"The SSIS Runtime has failed to enlist the OLE DB connection in a distributed transaction with error 0x8004D025
"The partner transaction manager has disabled its support for remote/network transactions.". End Error "
I search with this error message in google and found some solutions in the following links

Please compare the DTS settings on the Windows 7 computer and the Windows Server 2008 R2 computer and make sure they are identical. Make sure the “Allow Inbound” and “Allow Outbound” options are check, and pay attention to the authentication mode as
well.
Besides, make sure both Distributed Transaction Coordinator (TCP-In) and Distributed Transaction Coordinator (TCP-Out) rules in Firewall are enabled.
If the issue persists and there are any security/anti-virus software, temporarily disable the security/anti-virus software and check the issue again.

Ipad disabled after wrong password, is there a reset option?

Our iPad 2 (running iOS 7) is disabled, after six attempts at the password which had been changed 24 hours earlier, it appears to be permanently disabled.
I have work files in apps that were not backed up, is there anyway to recover from this stage?

‘iPad is disabled’ fix without resetting using iTunes
Today I met my match with an iPad that had a passcode entered too many times, resulting in it displaying the message ‘iPad is disabled – Connect to iTunes’. This was a student iPad and since they use Notability for most of their work there was a chance that her files were not all backed up to the cloud. I really wanted to just re-activate the iPad instead of totally resetting it back to our default image.
I reached out to my PLN on Twitter and had some help from a few people through retweets and a couple of clarification tweets. I love that so many are willing to help out so quickly. Through this I also learned that I look like Lt. Riker from Star Trek (thanks @FillineMachine).
Through some trial and error (and a little sheer luck), I was able to reactivate the iPad without loosing any data. Note, this will only work on the computer it last synced with. Here’s how:
1. Configurator is useless in reactivating a locked iPad. You will only be able to completely reformat the iPad using Configurator. If that’s ok with you, go for it – otherwise don’t waste your time trying to figure it out.
2. Open iTunes with the iPad disconnected.
3. Connect the iPad to the computer and wait for it to show up in the devices section in iTunes.
4. Click on the iPad name when it appears and you will be given the option to restore a backup or setup as a new iPad (since it is locked).
5. Click ‘Setup as new iPad’ and then click restore.
6. The iPad will start backing up before it does the full restore and sync. CANCEL THE BACKUP IMMEDIATELY. You do this by clicking the small x in the status window in iTunes.
7. When the backup cancels, it immediately starts syncing – cancel this as well using the same small x in the iTunes status window.
8. The first stage in the restore process unlocks the iPad, you are basically just canceling out the restore process as soon as it reactivates the iPad.
If done correctly, you will experience no data loss and the result will be a reactivated iPad. I have now tried this with about 5 iPads that were locked identically by students and each time it worked like a charm.

Fonts get disables after restart.

I'm having a strange issue with my Macbook Pro where almost all of my fonts in Font Book get disabled every time I restart my computer. Even if I reactivate them, and restart again, they revert back. I can't seem to find any information on why this is happening.

Sounds like a corrupt font database. Restart in safe mode. That flushes the database and font caches. Restart normally and reset everything with Font Book.

Apple ID still disabled after changed password.

I've changed my password after I first gotten the apple id disabled messages on my ipad and iphone, but now it is still showing the message saying my Apple ID is disabled.... However, I can still log in with my recently changed password. What is causing the message reappearing and how can I make it go away? Help please!!!!

If you are getting the message on your iPad then try logging out of your account on it by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if that 'refreshes' the account on it.

User gets disabled after 3 login failure

I just realized this problem. I don't want users to buzz a helpdesk because of failed login. Where and how can I turn it off?
Just wonder if Is it not possible, for example disable a user after 3 failed attempts, and enable it after 2 hours?

Never mind. I found the solution.
Solution:
1. Log into the Admin interface.
2. Navigate to Configure
3. Navigate to Policies
4. Select "Default Lighthouse Account Policy "
5. Under the "Identity Manager Password Policy Options" label.
A. Find the "Password policy" and select from the drop down list the password policy that applies to your system. I chose "Windows 2000 Password Policy" because we are using ActiveDirectory pass through authentication.
B. In the text box labled "Maximum Number of Failed Login Attempts" enter an number. We entered 3.
C. Save the change.

Windows users - "Access Account" gets disabled by server every night?!?

I have an OS X Server 10.4.7 on a new Mac Pro in our office. All of my windows users connect to a basic Windows fileshare using the server's IP, then I map the network drives, so they should auto connect. I connect the users, verify the connection, log out, log back in, the drives re-connect like normal. However, TWICE now, I verify that thye all work, then the next morning (or over the weekend), it's like the OS X Server disabled everyone's accounts, except mine (i'm an adminstrator account). Nobody can get to their shares, and all the "Access Account" checkboxes on all my users are unchecked.
I have Open Directory set as an OD Master, with default policies.
Under Windows I have it set as a PDC (I'll migrate my old domain accounts once I have the server working, unless this is my whole problem)
I disabled the file share of "users", but I can't see why that would be my problem. It works until overnight, seemingly.
Ideas?

P2pdatamessaging node property reverts to disabled after enabling it

In my room console, inside a room:
I enable p2pdatamessaging for a collectionNode
I get the warning that there may be problems if flash player is not 10.3
I click continue
I click somewhere else, eg next collectionNode
After clicking back the p2pdatamessaging is disabled again.
Any tips please?

Am I missing something obvious? Or has this been discussed before?
I cannot enable p2pdatamessaging on any collection node on the UI, not even for simple chat pod.
I can do a video recording if the description is unclear.

How can I reset my outlook.mail account on ipad after loosing password

I can access my outlook mail on our macbook pro but cannot access it on my ipad using the same password. What do I do? We have not been able to use the reset password or the old password and no security codes we have been sent work either.

Let's try deleting the iCloud account from your iPad, then adding it back.
If you have any photo stream photos on your iPad, save them to your camera roll by opening your My Photo Stream alburm, tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll. The force close the Mail app by double-tapping the home button, locating Mail in the list at the bottom, tap and hold Mail until it wiggles, tap to close it, then tap the home button agian.
Then to delete the iCloud account go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, choose Delete from My iPad when prompted. This only deletes the account and your iPad data from your iPad, not from iCloud. Then go to Settings>iCloud and sign back in and turn on your sync settings, confirming that Mail is set to On. Your iCloud data will reappear on your iPad after a brief delay as it redownloads. Open Mail and see if your iCloud account is there now.

Getting error after enabling php in httpd.conf

I want to get php enable on the Apache web sever that is part of OS 10.6.1. I read the docs and uncommented the Load line for php in httpd.conf. Then I restarted the web server. Now when i try to access via Safari a phpinfo( ); command as part of a simple .php file, I get the following error:

Fatal error: Unknown: Failed opening required '/Users/mobilemojo/Sites/phpinfo.php' (include_path='.:/usr/lib/php') in Unknown on line 0
Is there something else that has to be modified to get php module to load?

Button Action is not getting captured after enabling

Hi,
I have Button in a region with disabled property as true. And on process form request , i am changin the button disabled property to False. Now, when i click the button, processform request is getting called, but event is not getting captured.
button properties:
Action Type: fireAction
Even: save
Submit: True
Controlelr code: pageContext.getParameter(EVENT_PARAM) is returing null.
Can you let me know what needs to be done to capture the event.

from that you should be able to find the event's parameter.
