ACL not working with RAID array

Posted this before but it wasn't clear.
Brand new install of Leopard Server 10.5.1. Have an HFS+ SCSI RAID array attached. I am unable to get ACLs to work using this volume.
Using the command sudo fsaclctl -a I get the following:

Does this mean that the RAID volume is incompatible with ACLs despite being a HFS+ formatted array? Would a fresh install of server fix this?

I tried our old "unimporant" SCSI RAID and it reported:
"Support for access control lists is unknown."
I guess our RAID was formated/initialized ona a pre Intel server, yours too?
But your volume doesn't support a journaled HFS + (easliy changed in Disk Utility)
Better/faster if you get a server hang (takes much less time to "replay" the disk at boot than to wait for fsck to finish on such a large volume).

It might be worth while trying a repartition on the new server beacuse our say:

What should be used on Intel systems?). Should be GUID instead? Doesn't matter for non boot drives???
You haven't got too much data on it yet : Size "4.09 TB" - "3.27 TB" free.
In Tiger you set up the volume to use ACLs in WGM.
In Leopard SA it's a bit bewildering (haven't look at it since before 10.5.2 update though)...

Why did you ask that question if the device has never appeared as multiple drives?
I understand that the AEBS is NOT a Mac.
(a) Some RAID devices are hardware RAID devices. These devices use several hard drives but appear to the outside world as a single hard drive.
(b) Some devices allow you to install several hard drives and then these must be pieced together into a software RAID and then appear as a single hard drive. OS X has the ability to do this.
If this device operates like the description in (a) it should have no problem connected to the AEBS.

ACL not Working with Keepalive Configuration

Hi,
I have configured ACL on CSS 11506 with software version 07.50.1_03.0 .After configuring we observed in show keepalive-summary all Server serivce are up except the App server service where keepalive type TCP & Port is configured we tried by removing keepalive configuration from App server afterwhich it is working fine does any specfic port needs to be allowed in ACL for Keepalive.Below is the conifguration which is done CSS.

Doesn't NVL work with Assosiative array elements

Doesn't NVL work with Assosiative arrays? When i tried to UPDATE empdtls table with the values stored
in v_ename array, i got no_data_found error because
the query, select ename bulk collect into v_ename.....returns only 5 rows and v_ename(6) was null. So i tried NVL and COALESCE for v_ename(6). I couldn't succeed.
Any workarounds?

If you used a schema level collection type (i.e. created with CREATE TYPE) you could also use the unsupported SYS_OP_CEG function which appears to return collection elements for given index values without error if the element does not exist.

I don't know since I don't share anything. You'll have to peruse the help files and check the permissions and ACLs on the Shared folder. According to the permissions on the Shared folder everyone can R&W. If you want those to be inherited by everything dropped into the folder, add an ACL for
everyone allow read, write
Details in the manpage for chmod. The actual steps are left as an exercise.

HTMLDB_MAIL.SEND does not work with 11g

Hi Guys,
I have a simple application that uses HTMLDB_MAIL.SEND. I am running APEX 3.0 against an 11g database. When run against a 10g DB all is good. But with 11g I get
ORA-24247: network access denied by access control list (ACL)
I looked up the error which recommends altering ACL stuff, which I know nothing about. Is there a simple way to get rid of this error.

I have recently upgraded my iMac Intel G5 iSight (iMac5,1) to OS 10.6.8 and now the internal mic does not work with skype or facebook. I can here static when playing back clips. Do I need to update firmware or reload old system parts. I have zapped PRAM. The blue indicator in system audio panel will appear for a second as I slide the bar for internal mic but then it disappears. Is there a fix?

The sound seems very faint but can here static on playback.

Application is not working with mouse

Dear All,
We have a strange issue in the our application (Oracle form) in the one of our client machine.
Some times the forms are not able to work with the mouse but is able to work with the keyboard. After one or two machine restart its again working. When the issue occur we can able to work in other applications using mouse.
Our Applications server is in Other country and client are accessing from India.
This occurs for some user and not for all.
Application server Version 10.1.2.0.2.
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64bit
Java Plug-in version 1.6.0_31 .
Please any info will help us lot.

But since its occurring for some users (perticulary indian users) and some times. And also its occurring in production environment not in development environment.
Even the java control panel is not working with mouse.
For other country customers everything working fine.
So its difficult for me to apply the patch with these uncertainties.
Checking with fresh java installation and let you know the status.

Caller ID not working with Nokia 6600?

I have a T-Mobile (US) Nokia 6600, and I can't seem to get address book to display incoming SMS or the caller ID of incoming calls. I've successfully paired the phone via bluetooth, and I can make address book dial the phone and send an sms. I can sync via iSync, use my phone as a modem, etc. etc.
But regardless of what settings I tweak, I can't seem to get Address Book to show a bezel of any kind on incoming calls - not even an 'Unknown Caller' message! Am I missing something obvious? The Caller ID issue was due to an outage. It should be resolved anytime soon. Can yu log out and log back in. Go to app settings and in notifications and turn CAller ID off and on.

Please check the Play Store app for any Flash updates and install them if present.

Flash player does not work with Ie or Firefox with win 8.1?

Flash player does not work with Ie or Firefox with win 8.1 64, If i try and play a video I get the message to install Flashplayer.
If I try and install it it says it is already installed. Your onsite installer says it is not applicable to my machine.
I have followed all the normal steps re enabling addons and active filters etc.
all to no avail Pc is Dell 6 months old, Flashplayer has never worked on this machine. Last MS update mid Dec 2014.
Version of flashplayer is 15....03.......
