ACPI Table not in Reclaim memory error, HELP!!!! please

Totally new to this, only used Solaris on a Sparc.
The CDROM is in the drive, it boots up at startup and says
"SunOS Secondary Boot Version 3.00
Warning: ACPI Tables not in Reclaim memory

please tell me how to fix this someone, i have a maxtor 20gb drive which i have just fdisk'd to get rid of the windows environment, so there are no partitions on the hard drive anymore.

There is a bootable diskette that does not use the ACPI information that can be downloaded from Sun. Check the patches for Solaris intel and find the bootable diskette patch. I cannot remember the patch number off-hand. Hope this helps

When booting the system from a DCA i was getting an error

To get around this problem I downloaded the patch 110930-03 and made a image copy diskette of it and rebooted the system but it still gave me the same error.
Then I appended the line
setprop acpi-user-options '0x2'
at the end of bootenv.rc and rebooted the system but still it did not work.
I have a dell dimension 4100 system with P3 and 1GHz of RAM.It as a 40GB Hard disk of which I am using 15GB for windows 2000 server which is installed on the primary partition and rest of the space is still not partitioned.
If anyone else has come across the same problem please let me know the workaround otherwise I will have to return the computer and buy another one.

Interesting - usually this is a harmless (I believe) error message
and doesn't affect operation - getting kicked into the debugger is
new to me.
Can you please let us know your HW config - system/mobo type and BIOS version please - I believe Sun engineers are working on this.

I try to do exactly the same. I do not think that the solution is to disable ACPI or to install Solaris 7.
The Steps I did:
I also get the WARNING messages when starting with the installation CD #1 (not the setup CD):
ACPI Tables not in Reclaim Memory
and in Bus Enumeration
Warning: Resource Conflict - both devices are added
The device is PNP0C01.
So far, so good, warnings are not errors.
then boot the solaris kernel from CD#1
type in the following:
b kadb -d<enter>
:c<enter>
the result is the following:
panic[cpu0]/thread=fec17540: BAD TRAP: type=d (General Protection Fault) rp=fec12a94 addr=0
General Protection Fault
pid=0, pc=0xfe80f2f6, sp=0xfe808eb6, eflags=0x10002
and so on.....
Do you have any solution?

On usenet, you've at least mentioned that the system uses
a pentium 4 cpu. That is not supported under solaris 8
(yet).
Search this forum for "pentium 4" discussions. There's
a kadb patch posted that apparently allows installing
solaris 8 on a pentium 4 system.

I have tried the following procedure on my machine, but i haven't been successful in getting rid of this warning you have mentioned. My machine boots fine and Solaris works fine, inspite of this warning.

If ACPI is disabled through the BIOS, the warning can be avoided. However, this disables all ACPI functionality.
Hence, Disable ACPI by either:
% eeprom acpi-user-options=0x2
OR
By editing the /boot/solaris/bootenv.rc file (or equivalent on the boot floppy) and adding the line:
% setprop acpi-user-options 0x2
The value 0x2 disables the ACPI functionality, whereas the value 0x0 enables the ACPI functionality.
Please let me know if this works.

If you don't have a lot of objects you may have a so called involuntary object retention problem. Somehow somewhere you keep references to objects you really have no further use for. But you hold on to them so the GC cannot recycle them.
Another possible problem is that you do not call a so called explicit termination method although you should. Classes allocating native OS resources often have a special method that must be called before the object reference is released. Failure to do so will eventually deplete OS resources. One example is the dispose method of class Window (including subclasses derived from it).

Buffering table not up to date error message when creating a Cart

Hi Folks,
We are getting a 'Buffering table not up to date' error message when attempting to create a Cart. The error message only happens to the one end user ID only with the others not getting this error, therefore suggesting that my SRM org plan set-up is correct.
Has anyone come across this previously and what checks are available in the system to resolve this? As mentioned, the attribute check is okay and I have also removed the user ID from the SRM org plan and reassigned again but this has not corrected the problem. We are on SRM 5.

In the article Resolve iOS update and restore errors this is what it says about error 14:
Check your USB connections
Related errors: 13, 14, 1600, 1601, 1602, 1603, 1604, 1611, 1643-1650, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2005, 2006, 2009, 4005, 4013, 4014, or “invalid response."
If the USB connection between your device and computer is interrupted, you may be unable to update or restore.
To narrow down the issue, you can also change up your hardware:
Use the USB cable that came with your device, or a different Apple USB cable.
Plug your cable into a different USB port directly on your computer. Don't plug it into your keyboard.
Try a different computer.
If necessary, resolve any further issues with the USB connection, then with your security software.
If you're still seeing the error message, check for hardware issues by following the next section.

Buffer Table not up to date error while accessing Catalogs

Hello,
I am getting Buffer table not up-to-date error while accessing ARIBA Procurement Catalogs.
Initially, my Test system was pointing to Production Catalogs but now, when I changed the settings in "Define External Web Services" and pointed it to DEV Catalogs, it is failing with error: "Buffer Table not up-to-Date"
Refreshed the Buffer already but still error not fixed.
We already have the similar settings in other systems and there the connections are working fine

Yet, still the problem persists. Only working on one small XAML file. VS2013 and Blend always report "There is not enough virtual memory available. Please save your work and restart {0}" (except when they report "Package 'DesignPackage'
failed to load" when run in safe mode) Saved my work and restarted VS2013, Blend, and the computer. Followed all other suggestions as much as possible.
There is an abundant available and virtual memory. The only changes from last week to this is Microsoft updates.
Has there been any new effort on this issue that I have missed?

Get IT to do it. Get them to uninstall all the latest updates, since you can identify them as a proximal cause of the problem. Also, search MS Knowledge Base or do some googling for the exact error text.

Ainsi, quand je travaille sur un document, je ne suis pas ralenti par Autosave.

It is typed correctly. This is frustrating. I was just trying to update the Ipad Mini. I wanted to change the ownership to my husband and noticed that my daughter attached a new Icloud account. I was just trying to verify her account. I have the correct password. Now the account is locked out.

I figured it out. It's a little confusing. I was trying to add a new email address for iCloud and I was supposed to type in the main iCloud user ID and password. The wording is not helpful because it displays the name of the new email address.
