ACS User 'Create Date' Attribute?
Is there a 'create date' attribute for an ACS user? A typical question auditors will ask us for is a list of ACS/Remote access users created since 1st Jan 2010?

Jrabinow, thanks for your response. Was there supposed to be an screenshot of the ACS 5.1 user account? I'm testing out aaa-reports on trial basis currently. We're using ACS 4.1, obviously if there is no such attribute on our version, then we can't extract this information or report on it using a 3rd party tool.

Allow user-created data in empty datagrid?
I have an app where I was considering having a datagrid where users would enter information, and then total up what they entered.
So I have an empty datagrid such as
I would like a user to be able to enter (for example) 2 units (qty) at 100 width and 200 height in the first row. Ultimately, I will add a button that provides the math, which in this case would be 2 X (100X200) and then totals each row.
I have never worked with an empty grid before; so I created a new arrayCollection and have bound it to the dataprovider for the grid. Apparently there is more to it than simply that, as I can't edit the grid to add data (columns and grid editable=true).
What am I missing? Any advice on how to handle a situation like this?OK, so far I am trying it like this: I have created an object to hold each row of data

How to create new groups (list) for storing user's data?

I'm using cq-5.4 and I was undertaking the campaign management tutorial which explains about how to send out a weekly news letter. As a part of that I was creating a sign up form for subscribers to fill out. So after filling up that form, user's data would get stored somewhere and eventually that data will be used while sending out the weekly news letters to him.
This was the link I was referring to for that,

So on that link, the 3rd screenshot talks about how to set the form action. They have for example set the form action to 'Create and Update Account' and accordingly under 'Action Configuration', 'geometrixx newsletter' is assigned as the 'Initial Group'. But they never talked about how to create the 'geometrixx-newsletter' group? Where to create that group etc. Hence, after completing the form when I press submit, nothing happens. In reality whatever data I entered should've got stored in the 'geometrixx newsletter' group.
So that is the place where I'm stuck. Can someone tell me how and where should i create this group?

Thank you for posting the screen shots I have been unsuccessful in determining exactly where the problem is coming from. Would it be possible for you to post the actual VI so that I can work with it so see if I can reproduce this issue using your code? In regard to your questions:
1. You are correct 1000 samples read should write 1000 samples to the table
2. I believe the discrepancy is due to amount of manipulation done between the read and the file write but I cannot be certain, without the code to work with.
3. I am unclear as to exactly what is happening. If you are reading empty channels then you may receive erroneous readings this is to be expected. When you connected your accelerometer did you connect in RSE or differential? You can also manipulate the signal range with will affect the gain setting, how off are the readings?

Error while creating Data Source for master data attributes
Hi BI Experts,
Well its been some time for me that I have been part of Extraction in BI.I primarily handled reporting in my last assignments.
I was trying extraction with flat files in SAP BI 7(new to sap bi 7 but very much familiar with BW3.5) but failed in the activity during master data attributes and text upload in infoobject (say IOSP_Mat).
Here is the procedure that I did after creation of characteristic IOSP_Mat.I created a source system for flat file followed by data source for Master data attributes, i selected all the parameters correctly.i.e. csv file format, data seperator as ,
and other settings, now when i am trying to look at the proposed data in the next tab using Load example data.its not showing the desired result.The columns that I have maintained in Flat File is MAT_NUMBER and MAT_NAME (with say 100 data in the file)
same is the result when I am trying to load the text data too columns maintained are
(LANGUAGE MAT_NUMBER Short Description)(same 100 data).
now i used to rsa1old transaction to upload the file using 3.5 version.i created info source for master data/text/hierarchies for IOSP_Mat
now when trying to upload it using info package for master and text data,I observe its(the data) not maintained in the characteristic IOSP_Mat.
When I monitored ,I figured the data has not been even uploaded to the PSA level.
Can you BI experts tell me the answer for this.

Can´t create a date attribute for basic asset

I created a basic asset where I want to have a date attribute to pick up a date for calendar.
My question is: How can I create a date attribute for a basic asset? For what I understand I have to create an element attribute in my descriptor file like this

I request help.It seems that the table does not have the entries, maybe b/c we are on R3 4.7. Could you tell me what the entries are suppossed to be to allow the Asset and Cost Center lookup? The search does work for WBS element though and I don't see anything specific to WBS element in that table. In any case if you know the entries that would be great, also this table is not modifiable via SM30, here are the entries that I have in that table.

Creating report based on user selected Date Range
Hello.
I am trying to display an Apex report that selects data for the report based on a user entered date range.
It's a simple page with two date picker fields (p18_start and p18_end).
The report region SQL looks like this:

FROM prj_items
WHERE LM_DT BETWEEN :p18_start AND :P18_end
One table, one field on the table to search and two Apex variables.
I thought this would be fairly simple, but I am obviously missing something.
I not even sure what other information is needed to help me figure this out.

You can set defaults for the datepickers if you need to - this could be done in a computation on the page for each item and conditional on the item being null.
When I've done something similar to this, I've created two hidden page items - eg, :P19_FIRST_DATE and :P19_LAST_DATE and populated these with the earliest/latest date that the user could reasonably select (perhaps, in your case, the MIN(LM_DT) and MAX(LM_DT) values).
Then your SQL would be:

Firstly, you should check the branch that returns to the same page - make sure you are not clearing the cache for the page. Then, have a look to see if there is a "reset page" process (usually created for you when you create a form page). Then, check the Source settings for the items. Typically, these would be "Only when current value in session state is null" and a Source Type of "Static Assignment" with the "Source Value or Expression" left empty.

New user created doesn't see any data in reports
Hello Everyone,
I am using Hyperion Planning 11.1.2.1. I have a problem when i created a new user in the system via Shared Services. The reports are Reporting and Analysis reports.
I duplicated a current user in the system and applied the same groups and provisions. However, the new user cannot view any data in the reports. The current user however is able to do so. I am quite literally puzzled.
The existing user has been given the "Planner" provision. Further, the existing user has dimension security applied as well. This works fine with the existing user, as when i log in as the existing user, the data is available only to the groups and dimensions he has been assigned to. But when I apply the same groups and provisions to the newly created user, I get absolutely no data though i can see the report.
But if I apply the Essbase Cluster: Administrator provision to the new user, all the data is viewable in the reports irrespective of the dimension security.
I would appreciate some help urgently to get this matter resolved.

Though the problem was solved last time, it returned. Users aren't able to view any web analysis reports.
I dropped all users from SS and deleted all the security filters from EAS. (made a backup of course). Then I created all the users once again with relevant access to groups and the provision of "Planner" in the relevant planning application.
Then in planning (Administration > Manage Security Filters > UserName > Create) created the filter for the user.
When I did that, the default filter for the user was as follows.
Access - None
Member - @IDES("Accounts"),@IDES("Scenarios"),@IDES("Versions"),@IDES("ABCGroup")
I want the user to have access to the Cost Center (Branch) L103. So I added the following.
Access - Read
Member - "Final","Draft 1","L103","Budget","Actual","Final Forecast",@IDES("Input Assumptions"),@IDES("Balance Sheet"), @IDES("Profit and Loss Account"),@IDES("Financials Ratio"),@IDES("Report Assumptions")
This used to work, but for somewhat reason, it doesn't. The story is the same for all users. When i log in as a user and try to view a report, i get the "Database Login" - No data available error.

User orcladmin can't create new attribute?
I've just started some development with OID, have installed 10g pretty much plain vanilla without much changes, it's generally working.
However, I need to add an attribute (for example, "phoneextension"), so I run Oracle Directory Manager, navigate to Schema Management for the server in question, switch to the Attributes tab, pick one, do "Create Like", make the changes, but when I try to save it I get an error: "Modify failed... LDAP: error code 50 - Insufficient Access Rights".
I'm logged in as orcladmin. How do I provide this user with the correct rights? Or which user should I use?
(Note that orcladmin is the user indicated as the super user under "System Passwords".)
Thanks!Okay... it appears (someone correct me if I'm wrong) that when you log in to Oracle Directory Manager, if you give the wrong password it still runs, and it looks like you're logged in as that user, but maybe you aren't?
I swear that's what just happened. Now I've logged in as orcladmin and I can create new attributes in the schema. Can someone confirm this?

If you just have a PDF form and do not need to pre populate data then all you need do is:
1. Add a submit button to the PDF - you can use the full Adobe product or a BIP API
2. Load the PDF as a template with a dummy data source.
The user can then run the "report" as usual. When they have completed the form they can hit the Sumit button on the form. Adobe will then scrape the data out of the form in an XML format and post it to the URL you added. At the other end of the URL you need a servlet to accept and process the XML data.
If you need to prepopulate the form you can attach a datasource to the PDF template but ensure the fields are preserved after running the form for the user through the config options.
BIP does have APIs to populate drop lists, etc but these are not exposed thru through the BIP UI.

SQL Error while creating data Owner certification in SRM 5.0.3
Hi , In SRM 5.0.3, while creating data Owner certification by choosing data owner, I m getting the following error. database i upgraded and the migration script is also run.
java.sql.SQLException: Violation of PRIMARY KEY constraint 'pk_id_attr_val_users'. Cannot insert duplicate key in object 'dbo.id_attr_val_users'. Since Primary key is clustered(cert_id,user_id,attr_val_id) and we have updated currentvalue of CertificationID in sequences table, We are not sure if SRM is trying to enter duplicate attribute value for same user in D.O certification. Any pointers regarding this error will be of great help, thanks.Solved but not happy!

I'm trying to find in all the PO objects where the screen data are filled in the data attributes. For instance, the attribute PO_ITEM_HASH_TABLE from CL_PO_ITEM_HANDLE_MM seems to hold the data. But I'd like to find exactly where it's filled in, and I can(t find out. It's just used in methodes GET_DATA and SET_DATA, and the constructor seems not to explicitly fill it.
Actually, my requirement is to get a custom Account Assigment element from stocked orders. That's mean that FI account assigment elements are not displayed, just FM's if you've set them in customizing. (the Account Assigment category in PO line is blank).
Note that I have created a new account assignment element within structure CI_COBL using FI customizing.
I've found a way to display my element somewhere near the display of the FM account assigment elements, but the value user enters is not sent to PAI. It looks like because it's not in the PO_ITEM_HASH_TABLE attribute.
If anyone has a clue,

Showing item created date in custom alert template
Hi,
I'm working on customizing the sharepoint alert templates for my site collection.
I got good info on net regading the modifications to be made. But unfortunately, I couldn't fine info about showing the
Created Date column of the item.
I need to show the item created data and modiifed date vlaues in my alert email,
I've 'TimeStamp' property which shows the modiifed date. But Im not getting equivalent property for created date.
I've tried the below options
NewValue#Created
NewValue#ItemCreated
OldValue#Created
DisplayName#Created
None of them are showing hte created date of item.
There is one attribute 'RawValue' which is giving the created date. but it's display format is really not user friendly
It shows date as 2013-09-08 T 11,40..Z
Is there any way to show item created date in alert emails? I dont want to use custom code for it.
I need to use OOB approach. Or atleast is there a way to format the above date displayed thru 'RawValue' attribute.Thanks Arif, it did not work. One note though, if we are using the field name we do not use the brackets:
