Action not possible because change version exist
Dear All,
We are at SRM5.0- Extended Classic scenario and facing issues for changing some of the PO documents.
When the buyers are trying to change the PO, error is getting populated as 'Action not possible because change version exist'. This error is not allowing us to change the PO.
These POs are changed in the past and all the relevant changes are reflected to backend system with no issues. In other words Change Versions do exists for these POs. Flags for Change Version completion is also set and all historical versions can be seen but without change history.
Additional information -
1. No approval workflows are implemented for PO.
2. No locks are active for these documents.

well, actually the active change version won't be preserved in any case. It would be overwritten in the first scenario, and deleted in the second one. The reason why I'd like to have this "brute force" method is to face an eventual human error. Suppose that a disalignment between R3 and SRM has been created; my report basically "alligns" the SRM version to the corresponding R3 one. And suppose also that the user made a mistake so that the program must be used a second time. I'd like to provide a way to "UNDO" the first execution of the program, that is to say: i'd like to provide a way to OVERWRITE the actual active, change version, or alternatively delete the change version that the report did create the first time it has been launched.

or is there a way to open a new account with a new email and merge my settings to it?Doesn't sound like you are using Firefox Sync for its intended purpose. Plus, it sounds like you ''might'' be leaving your Sync data "all over the place" - using Sync on computers owned by strangers.
Sync doesn't just "use" your Firefox data in real-time from the Sync server, it '''''downloads''''' your data to each device that you connect to your Sync account. That data remains on each device until it is removed manually. And if you didn't "unlink / disconnect" that computer when you were done using it, Sync will stay connected to your Sync account until the "owner" of that device gets tired of seeing "his data" get changed as your data changes. Plus, unless you manually remove your Sync username and password data from the Password Manager, that other person might be able to re-connect to your Sync account at will.
Of course, the risks you are taking by doing that depend upon which types of data you fed to Sync in the beginning. Hopefully at least not Passwords.''
IMO, you would be better off carrying a USB stick around with a copy of Firefox Portable to use on Windows computers that you don't own or don't have exclusive control over. Sync will work between "Portable" and regular Firefox, even when they're both being used on the same device, at the same time.
That will "fix" two things - it will give you a 2nd "device" ''[even when plugged into your own computer]'' and it will allow you to use your own Firefox installation on on another persons computer without "sharing" your Sync data with that other person, where such is allowed by "permissions set on that device''. Nothing that you do will appear on any device that the USB stick is plugged into, at least as far as Firefox is concerned. That applies to any "loaner" computer that you might use, too.

As far as setting up a new Sync account goes, your data is in Firefox ''[even when it is in Sync, too]'' - so just "disconnect" from your current account, and then set up a new new account. At the end of the setup procedure the Sync service will automatically "Sync" your data to the new account, and you'll be "good to go".
I highly encourage you to do the Firefox Portable on USB stick as I mentioned above, because it sounds like the way that you have been using Sync sounds very risky with your data. Once your data gets Sync'd to another persons computer its "meshes" with their data and is all but impossible to remove completely - unless the person set up a Logon User Account specifically for you and then deleted that LUA after you were done.'' Doubtful, because from what I have seen the "average" PC owner has no concept of what a Logon User Account is all about.
In conclusion, ''tell me that you weren't sync'ing your Password data''. -

I am blocked with a strange issue which is similar to FZ311 mentioned above.

I am not aware about the GUI table interface through which you can change the flag.
But i guess there is an option
Go to transaction se11 --> write /AIN* in the table name field.
You will find all the table names related to SAP AII. In the search list now available to you, search for the word "Number".
Then you will find all the table names related to number ranges.
Here you can search the table which will be having that flag field. If you find this table,
go into that table and make that entry manually.

Hi - Recently I put the latest update on my LT15i (4.1.B.0.587), after this I rooted the phone, and everything seemed okay. But since then I keep getting an error message with an offer to download the 4.1.B.0.587 update and the note: "installation not possible" (because it's already there). The news line on top shows a red exclamation mark all the time. It seems to me that it is due to this error that I cannot partition my SD card. Does anybody have an idea how to fix that? I'd be curious to know what SAP says. We have the same problem. Not sure how/if we broke it, but we can no longer create iviews using the wizard. I opened an OSS msg a while ago, but did not get much assistance.
We have recently upgraded to 2004s and it did not resolve the issue as I hoped it would.
If SAP provides a solution for you, please post it.

try press F11 while booting up laptop to force from recovery instaltion. If it not works maybe recovery is damaged or was no preinstalled system on it.
Try bios Hard Drive test to ensure hdd is ok.
If U have OS cd/dvd try from it.
If bios test is failed contact HP for hdd replacement if passed reinstall system.
If it wont be possible contact HP - Ur serial should defined in their system.

If it is as represented in the second screenshot, it is likely that you moved, deleted, or rename that file once it was imported
at another time into the Elements Organizer. In that case, we need to reconnect the file to the project. More on that later
once you supply the above details.

When i try to run payroll for those emp's, im getting the error message:

Hi experts,
I'm having a problem when our project approaching the end.
If I assigned the business role in parameter CRM_UI_PROFILE and PFCG role in SU01.
It works fine,and the user can logon the web ui.
Now I created a new organization model and position,assigned the business role and user to the position.
A PFCG role was also assigned to the business role:
Then I removed all the roles and profiles in user master in SU01.
The user can not login CRM WEB UI and the system raised "Logon is not possible because you have not been assigned to a business role; please contact your system administrator".
Can anybody suggest what the problem is? Is there any other settings I should make?
I suppose that,since the user was assigned to the position the organizational model, the system can determine the user's business role, and through the business role, the corresponding PFCG role can also be determined.
Am I correct?

Let me point you to pretty good explanation right here: Logon is not possible because you have not been assigned to a business role; please contact your system administrator
So business role determination is taken in three steps (you can observe them in class CL_CRM_UI_PROFILE_DETERM method LOAD_PROFILES):
1. From user's parameter CRM_UI_PROFILE (method LOAD_FROM_USER_PARAMETER);
If CRM_UI_PROFILE = * then the user needs to have S_DEVELOP authorization object with OBJTYPE = 'DEBUG' (debug authorization).
2. If not found on previous step: From organizational management (method LOAD_FROM_ORG_MANAGEMENT)
3. If not found on previous steps: Based on PFCG roles (method LOAD_FROM_PFCG_ROLE); -

I have seen this exact error in lower releases and was able to resolve it by making sure the business partner had a General and an employee configured. Unfortunately on 7.1 I have both but I still canu2019t open the message I created. Same error if I test SICF service /default_host/sap/bc/bsp/sap/ crm_ui_start. I have gone through SOLMAN_SETUP IT Service Management and Generate BP Automatically but no luck so far. Any ideas? Thank you,

As far as I know, you need to maintain business org details (like org name, positions, business partners etc) in the ppoma_crm tcode. Then have to assign a position to your user ID. This assigns the business role as well.

Hello this is happening to us also (minus the Bluetooth speaker). We can't figure out what is causing the data usage. I turned off mobile data as soon s I activated the device, and got the message that unless I am connected to WiFi.....(that is exactly what I wanted). We watched Netflix for about three hours, then the alerts started. Like you we have many devices connected and never used over 2GB now all of a sudden we have used it in a matter of hours. My husband called Verizon and got the usual doubting Thomas response. I understand that they don't know my device settings. So over the phone we check all the settings and turned off every possible culprit eating up the data and end the call. By now I have purchased another gig for the month! Assured we are NOT using mobile data, we continue on the IE path to bliss. HA! A few hours later I check the mobile data usage on the Verizon website and that darn thing is still using data. After two more phone calls and two VERY uneventful trips to the local store we were told to take out the sim card. This has stopped the data usage, but it defeats the purpose of having the data plan. I could have just stuck with my Surface. Verizon sent us a new sim card. Its been installed and I have set my homepage to Verizon mobile data usage (just kidding) but I am on that site a lot. I am surprised at the number of complaints about this device. When we called the Verizon support acted as though this was the first time they had heard about this.
