End running integration process

How to end an integration process running and running? Due to having caused hundreds of messages there is no chance to get into work item display. The system hangs up when I'm trying to get into work item display. Now I'm searching for another possibility to directly stop or cancel the process. Is there any report I could use?

Starting or stopping the BPE.
SAP_XI_BPE_ADMINISTRATOR_ABAP
Whether the button for starting the BPE or the button for stopping the BPE is displayed depends on the status of the BPE. If an error occurs, both buttons are displayed and you must decide how you wish to continue. The individual steps for starting and stopping the BPE are executed in turn and the status of each step is displayed. The log for the individual process steps is displayed in the window area at the bottom of the screen.

    This is not a cure but will make it easier if Firefox locks up.

  • BPM Integration Process that correlates 2 messages.

    I have an BPM Integration Process defined that collects Deliveries for an Order number and when an Invoice arrives for the same Order number it merges the messages to produce another file that is for a 3rd party.
    I correctly receive in the Delivery and the Invoice u2013 I can see them in SXMB_MONI with a checkered flag and they are directed to my BPM.  I can see this also in SXMB_MONI_BPE.  I can also see the correlation correctly found in both messages.  No error is reported by either SXBM.. transaction.
    However it does nothing except receive the files u2013 I am expecting a transformation and then the send step to execute.
    Start >  CollectIDOCBlock  > Collect Fork
    Fork1
    Infinite Loop for Receive Delivery (Start process) and Collect in Container. It uses and activates Correlation OrderNum
    Fork2
    Receive Invoice uses Correlation OrderNum (it does not activate the correlation)
    At the end of the Fork (when Delivery collected and an Invoice is received)
    It will then do the Transformation and Send Step.
    <End
    I have tried various combinations of the correlations and which receive step starts the process.  Any ideas ?

    Yes that did work.  Now does somebody know what exactly the FORK parameter number of branches does ?
    The SAPHelp is here
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/08/16163ff8519a06e10000000a114084/frameset.htm
    +You can specify the required number of branches and then define whether the process must run through all branches, or just a particular number of branches+
    But it does not explain why you need to have 1 as necessary branches rather than 2.  There are 2 branches in the FORK - so why does having 1 as the parameter work and not 2.
    In this SAPHelp for Message-Dependent Loop
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/08/16163ff8519a06e10000000a114084/frameset.htm
    it indicates to me that the parameter should be 2.
    BUT the SAP pattern (BpmPatternCollectMessage) I have used as a base for mine has this as 1 and not 2.
    Why is 1 the correct value and not 2 ??

  • Could not invoke a web service in an integration process from a portal

    Hello,
    I am a WebLogic user. I am using WebLogic 8.1. I created a process project which integration a few web services. The last service in the process is named "Alert Service". I also create a WebLogic portal to invoke the the Alert service in the process. After I run the process in WebLogic workshop, I run the portal. I met the issue like:
    <i><b>An error has occurred:
    An exception occurred in the action showAlert
    EJB Exception: ; nested exception is:
    com.bea.control.ServiceControlException: SERVICE FAULT:
    Code:java.io.FileNotFoundException
    String:Response: '503: Service Unavailable' for url: 'http://dbaldridge3000:7001/JC2Collab/JC2/collab/alert/Alert.jws'
    Detail:
    END SERVICE FAULT
    caused by: : com.bea.control.ServiceControlException: SERVICE FAULT:
    Code:java.io.FileNotFoundException
    String:Response: '503: Service Unavailable' for url: 'http://dbaldridge3000:7001/JC2Collab/JC2/collab/alert/Alert.jws'
    Detail:
    END SERVICE FAULT</b></i>
    I created a portal domain and extended the workshop and integration domain to the portal domain server. both the process and the portal are running on this server. If I don't run the workflow process, but run the Alert service only and then run the portal, there is no exception.
    The portal was created using the Alert service's control.
    Why did the integration process hide its service so that the portal could not find it ? Should I run the integration process and the portal in separate domains (servers) ? Should I start two WebLogic platforms ?
    Thanks in advance.
    Di

    I reproduced this error in another way by using portal only. I created a portal with a portlet which can invoke a meeting service. I posted two methods in the meeting service to the portlet - listMeetings and getMeeting. The portlet was generated automically from the meeting web service control. I invoked the listMeeting from the portal at first. The meeting info was displayed on the portal page. Then I invoked the getMeeting by entering a meeting key got from the first step. For the second call, the same exception was thrown.

  • Alternative for integration process ?

    The XI integration process functionality for me looks like another example of overkill design in XI. Needs lots of additional abstract message interface declarations, difficult to follow what really happens.
    Question: what alternatives in XI are possible without breaking the architecure completely ? E.g. when I have to perform some simple connected steps, like call an RFC, then load a file via FTP, then send out an email with the result data. Where in XI could I define a Java or ABAP method which does that programmatically ? The communication channels have some module processors. Would that be the right place ( define a module processor in channel which receives the trigger). Are there standard functions in XI available in Java or ABAP to perform RFC, FTP...
    or is it better to do it in a Java or ABAP mapping ? This does not seem to make much sense.
    Any experiences or ideas ?
    CSY

    hi,
    the complete lauch of xi is to have common place for all designed interfaces and configuration and monitoring stuffs.
    client b4r getting in to xi should read his landscape and justify whether to  bring in xi r not, when this step is not done,  questions as mentioned above would arise around
    what is the need of  xi for simple function which i can do by abap , java , jco s etc..(many ask ))
    but  beauty of xi is tapped when the  landscape around it is growing and when u want to  intergrate those all systems.
    i guess it's better to have xi standard congf instead peeping in to other hindden programs to do same , as it would be easily visible to all developer who come in .
    IP is the class idea and u shud think if u r flow has more logic in between to be manipulated.
    In in the end the moral is that every system is capable of meeting the requirment we shud be in search of which can be trusted and maitained easily as a long run  ) everything is possible.

    See the SOA Tech Preview forum:
    SOA Suite and OC4J 11g Technology Preview
    Try increasing your XE session parameters and try again:
    Here is the XE parameters change:
    sqlplus sys/system@XE as sysdba
    SQL> show parameter session
    SQL> show parameter processes
    SQL> alter system set sessions=100 scope=spfile;
    SQL> alter system set processes=150 scope=spfile;
    SQL> shutdown immediate
    SQL> startup
    SQL> show parameter session

  • Running a process prevent calling any service control in the application

    I created a process project which chained a few web services. I also created a HelloWorld service which is not related to the process at all. I then created a pageflow in the web project. The pageflow calls the HelloWorld service control.
    The problem I met is the after I run the process, I could not run the pageflow. The below exception is thrown. The domain I was running is a portal domain extended with Integration configuration. Any solution, clue ....
    Thanks in advance.

    Thanks to Scott for correcting Manish's misdirection. I went looking for that option, didn't find it! :-/
    I had created an application process to run "On New Session After Authentication" but I found it was actually running when the <strong>Login</strong> page was being displayed (I had the process write to the database each time it was run), before the user actually logged in. So it didn't know who the user was yet, which is needed to run my process. Ouch!
    Since we're planning to change the authentication method for production, I'd really prefer to define an after-authentication process, but I guess I'll have to drop the code in the Authentication method's Post-Authentication Process.

  • Return-Code 99 of integration-process in TR  SXI_CACHE

    Hallo,
    in TR SXI_CACHE my integration-process has the return-code 99 (process cannot be activated). On selecting in the tree (left side) and dobble-click of my process following comes up:
    </properties>
    - <lines>
      <line id="208" predid="207" succid="5" parentid="207" order="0" linetype="DEFAULT" />
      <line id="213" predid="7" succid="13" parentid="207" order="0" linetype="DEFAULT" />
      <line id="214" predid="13" succid="9" parentid="207" order="0" linetype="DEFAULT" />
      <line id="215" predid="9" succid="59" parentid="207" order="0" linetype="DEFAULT" />

    The XML page cannot be displayed
    Cannot view XML input using XSL style sheet. Please correct the error and then click the Refresh button, or try again later.

    After activating the process once more the detail-information comes up. Then i see the error steps (Message-Type = E). So for example:
    Der Wert des Ausdrucks '&CH_EVENT_TAB_DATA.PAYLOAD.ERROR&' kann nicht als Quelle einer Zuweisung dienen (expression cannot be the source of an assignment)
    But in the integration-process this seam to be good. What can i do? Delete the container-element and create a new one?
    Thanks in advance,
    Frank

    Hallo,
    when i have a look at the details after acitvation my integration-process (with returncode 99) I make changes in my process. But after refresh there are the old items are still there. What´s about the Button "delete runtime Version" in the acivation step? Can i so delete this process in my cash? Have i to make a new integraion-process-object? After copy one process and giving a new name the same problems occures? What is the best solution?
    Thanks,

  • Spliting a Message to reuse an Integration Process made for a single one.

    Hi,
    I have a Integration Process that works well for a XML message of the type:
    <EMESSAGE>
      <PERSON>
        <TAG_1>
        <TAG_2>
      </PERSON>
    </EMESSAGE>
    My BPM process the data for the Person correctly.
    Now I want to be able to tried more than one person per input message, some thing like:
    <EMESSAGE>
      <PERSON>
        <TAG_1>
        <TAG_2>
      </PERSON>
      <PERSON>
        <TAG_1>
        <TAG_2>
      </PERSON>
      <PERSON>
        <TAG_1>
        <TAG_2>
      </PERSON>
    </EMESSAGE>
    I build a 1:n Interface Mapping that creates me the following structure:
    <Messages>
    <Message1>
    <EMESSAGE>
      <PERSON>
        <TAG_1>
        <TAG_2>
      </PERSON>
    </EMESSAGE>
    </Message1>
    <Message2>
    <EMESSAGE>
      <PERSON>
        <TAG_1>
        <TAG_2>
      </PERSON>
    </EMESSAGE>
    </Message2>
    <Message3>
    <EMESSAGE>
      <PERSON>
        <TAG_1>
        <TAG_2>
      </PERSON>
    </EMESSAGE>
    </Message3>
    </Messages>
    But when I use a ForEach Block in my new BPM, it doesn't work if there is more then 1 person in the input. The error message I got is:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>

    Does someone have any idea or a suggestion on how to reuse my BPM that works for a single person?
    Thanks in advance for your suggestions.

    ok no success for the moment, so I will try to describe my BPM more precisely:
    The DT I use can contain up to 1'000 PERSON record inside a unique EMESAGE reccord (the root element)
    My containers: (all are of type Abstract Interface of my DT)
    Input (Process)
    requestList(Process) Multiline
    request(block)
    response(block)
    Receive Request Step
    Message: input
    Start Process: Yes
    Mode : Async.
    Split (Transformation) Step
    IM: My Interface that does the 1Message with N PERSON records to N Messsages with 1 PERSON record
    Create new transaction: Yes
    Source: input
    Target: requestList
    Block Step
    Mode: ForEach
    Block Start: New transaction
    Block End: New transaction
    Multiline_Element: RequestList
    CurrentLine: request
    No end condition
    Inside the block
    My Sync Send call to a BAPI
    Source: request
    Target: response
    A final Async Send step
    Message: response.
    The workflow stop at the Transform step, as if hte fact that many messages come in result could not be handled back. Here are the details for the Interface mapping used in the transformation step:
    Source: MyDataTypeAbstractAsynchroneInterface
    Occurrence: 1
    Destination:
    Occurrences: 0:unbounded
    Mapping program: the following XSLT:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <xsl:stylesheet version="2.0" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">
         <xsl:output method="xml" version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" indent="yes"/>
         <xsl:template match="EPERSON">
         <ns0:Messages xmlns:ns0="http://sap.com/xi/XI/SplitAndMerge">
                   <xsl:for-each select="CONTEXTPERSON">
                   <xsl:element name="ns0:Message{position()}">
                   <EPERSON xmlns:xsi="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema-instance" xsi:noNamespaceSchemaLocation="ContextPersonMessage">
                        <xsl:element name="CONTEXTPERSON">
                             <xsl:attribute name="personid"><xsl:value-of select="@personid"/></xsl:attribute>
                        </xsl:element>
                        <!--End of CONTEXTPERSON> -->
                   </EPERSON>
                   </xsl:element>
              </xsl:for-each>
         </ns0:Messages>
         </xsl:template>
    </xsl:stylesheet>
    Still any suggestions ?
    The trace of the error is the same as before, so I won't copy paste it again.

  • Changes to Integration Process not reflected at runtime.

    I have changed an Integration Process (eg removed a loop) and then activated this in IR and ensured that RunTime Cache is refreshed - I even forced another Run Time Cache refresh via SXI_CACHE.
    however the Process is still running under the old version  (I can see this from SXMB_MONI_BPE and drilling down into the workflow graphic).
    How do I get XI to run the next time with the new version of my process ?

    I think you will get an answer sooner when you post in the XI forum which you can find[here.|Process Integration (PI) & SOA Middleware;

  • Block in Integration Process produce error

    Hi,
    there is a strange problem with an Integration Process.
    I have a loop for collecting messages.
    If I paste a new Block in the process after the loop there is no problem,
    but if I put the loop inside the Block the process ends with an error
    right after collecting the first message.
    Somebody has an idea?
    Thanks and regards
