How to create the action profile for service complaint. I am working in CRM Standalone server. I gone through that service complaint doc and found that for this transaction we have to define the actions like CREATE RETURN REQUEST, CREATE SPARE PART DELIVERY, CREATE QUALITY NOTIFICATION, CREATE CREDIT/DEBIT MEMO REQUEST AND CREATE TASK. Can Anybody guide me how can I achieve this ans assign to my transaction type ie Service Complaint.If any body has the doc to achieve this can send it to

How to create an Action Profile for a Survey
Hi
Can you please help me with the steps to create an Action Profile for a Survey. Eg. If the user creates a like Lead / Service, Action profile assigned to the Transaction type has to trigger the Survey.

Survey is nothing but a Questioner that is Represent the Feedback for a Particular Transaction.
Controlling Survey by a Action Profile is possible to some Extent indirectly.
One way of Controlling the Survey Execution based on System Status
Go To:Customer Relationship Management>Transactions>Settings for Activities>Questionnaires>Define Determination Criteria for Questionnaires Define a Criteria Set for a Particular Status,Here what ever Status Assigned are Responsible for the Survey Form to Appear in that Transaction Type at that Particular Status.
In Define Determination for Questionnaires: Business Activity:assign the Criteria Set that you have Created to your Survey Form
Go To:Customer Relationship Management>Transactions>Basic Settings>Status Management>Change Status Profile for User Status The Status Profile that you are using Ensure that the System Statuses are Assigned to a User Status on which you want the Survey Determination to Happen.
Direct Action Trigger for Survy Form is not Possible
This is one way to Control the Transaction Type Status and in mean you shall indirectly get Control over the Survey Form

Action Profiles for Order Confirmation
Hello,
I need to set up basic action Profile for sending emails upon order confirmation. So I set up 2 actions inside an action profile
1. One action to send an email based on partner function Sold to Party
2. Another action to send email based on partner function Bill -to Party
When I go to the order, I can see only the Action for Sold to Party but not the other action. I need both these actions to execute one after another/or simultaneously
Both these actions do not have a start condition.
Both these partner functions is different
*Email address have been maintained.
I tried changing the sort also to see if it would make a difference, It is just not picking up the second one action.
Can anyone help me out!!!

U have to check u r Action setting for u r action defination tick the below check boxes:
Schedule automatically
Changeble in Dialoug
Executable in Dialog
Also tick on Partner Dependent check box
Note : Check u r schedule condition for action condition b'cos without schedule condition fullfilled u r action condition will be appeared.

Action profile for send email to multiple partners
Hi
i need to send Smartforms mail using action profile to all partners assigned in the partners tab.
Is there some standard way of doing it other than creating partner dependent action profile for each partner?

based on my knowledge and experience, there is 2 ways for sending a smartforms via mail in action, ie :
1. using smartforms mail
2. using method.
for option 1, only can be send to one target only. therefore usually i used the option 2.
in option 2 basically you create an implementation class from defenition class EXEC_METHODCALL_PPF.
the implementation class basically just a program, so in this implementation class you can get all the partners in the partners tab using function modul CRM_ORDER_READ and get all recipient mail, generate the smartforms and send it as attachment to all mail target.

Action profile for Business Partners
Dear SAPers,
Currently Action profile, can be easily set-up for Business transactions (Opp, Activity,etc.).
Examle: When Opp status is changed (schedule condition, start condition), Business Parnter attribute is adapted (Execution).
Does anyone know if Action profile can be set-up for Business Partner?
Examle: When BP is changed (schedule condition, start condition), Business transaction attribute is adapted (Execution).
In standard, it does not look possible.
Should it be possible from Business Parnter BADI (check_before_save) to generate the schedule condition of a set of Business transactions e.g Opp.

Yes. As of today you can customize the Action Profiles to trigger actions for Business Transactions only. This is not available for the Business Partners. So, your approach of Business Partner BADI sounds a very reasonable solution to achieve the functionality.
And for the Business Partner BADI that you mentioned here I was unable to find any such BADI in SAP CRM 7.0 system. Can you let me know from which system you got that BADI name?
I got a BADI of BP - COM_PARTNER_BADI. Can you have a look at the implementations of it so as to have a understanding of it's usage.

Personalize Status Profile for transaction search
Hi Experts,
I have one requirement in PCUI i.e. can we personalize our Status profile for specific transaction in transaction search ??
when we search any transaction from PCUI screen status wise we are getting all the statuses for same object category(All status for service orders) this create confusion for users, to restrict that can we create personalized status search, when user select particular transaction type he will able to see only status under that transaction not all.
can we achieve this through user object if yes then which object to use ?
Please help me to resolve the same.

which is available in SMP. This section talks about the status management in Trasaction search.

Action canceled for transaction ftxp
I'm trying to understand the difference of behavior for transaction ftxp between my quality and production system.
If I execute FTXP on QAS, the action is canceled (message tk495).
There is nothing in ST22, SM21, SU53...
I need to open the client in transaction SCC4, and then it works...
But if I execute FTXP on PRD, it works directly. I don't even have to open the client.
My user has sapall permission in both systems...
Do you have any idea or suggestion ?
Maybe this is a customizing configuration...I don't know...
EduardoThis is allowed in production because the client has a role "production", which does allow you to execute.
Whereas in the Quality, you need to open the client inorder to copy or transport.
This is the expected behavior because you are trying to do client specific changes.
By the way, you can do it in your dev and transport it to your quality.
Any tax account adjustment you have to manually do it quality by opening your client.
Also message tk495 may be due to your authorization or client setting.

Configuring profiles for transaction EXPD/AXPD and how the t-codes work
Hello experts!
I inadvertently ran across these transactions recently and (based on descriptions) want to explore its functionality further for my current client. However, in their systems there is no Progress Tracking Profile configured, preventing me from executing.
I've seen previous posts that indicate there should be an IMG node located in the MM>Purchasing path but I cannot locate it in this client's system. Those same posts indicate an alternate node in Project Systems to configure this, and I do see it there.
Is there a business function in the Switch Framework that has to be activated in order to create this node in MM or is this functionality specific to an industry solution?
Again, have no idea if this transaction would be of use to them. They do indeed use Project Systems, but I'm not understanding what these transactions do and am having extreme difficulty locating any useful documentation on them.
Any guidance you can lend would be greatly appreciated.

Screen profile for transaction type SLFI
We would like to use issues (trans type SLFI) for internal issue tracking during an implementation. As such several of the tabs shown are really not relevant. I have found where to assign the screen profile but where does one actually create the screen profile? i.e. I would like to create a z profile with reduced tabs and make subject a required entry.

Action Profile - Display SMART FORM in PDF

I have a requirement in action profile, in which when a SMART FORM PRINT action is triggered in CRMD_ORDER, the smart form should be displayed in PDF. Then the user should be able to save or print the pdf form.

You can achieve this using action profile in your transaction type, just create new action definiation in action profile using Process type Smart Forms Print assign your smart form, define action conditions for this definiation.

Send Smartform Email via Action Profile
Hello,
We have an Action Profile with a few actisn athat a workign perfectly. I have added a new action to send smartform via email when the the transaction is saved.
The Action profile is set upfor object type BUS2000115(Quotation) with the context class of CL_DOC_CONTEXT_CRM_ORDER.
I have set up the Smartform Email action processing as follows:
Permitted processign type fo Action - Smartform Email
Mail Settings:
Form Name YC3_SF_CRM_COMM_QUOTATION_V7
Processing Class CL_CRM_BP_UM_PROCESSING_PPF
Processing Method UM_EXEC_SMART_FORM
Archive Mode Mail only
there is no schedule or start condition as it is not required.
When I Save the Quotation nothing is getting triggered. If in the Quotation I Preview output and select 'Email Quotation; I get the message 'Smartform Error'. Is there a way to debug the message further ? I'm assuming this is the SAP standard method of achieving Smartform email as Pdf attachment, are some steps that I have missed ?

Use the below;
Processing Class : CL_DOC_PROCESSING_CRM_ORDER
Processing Method: CRM_ORDER_EXEC_SMART_FORM
You can always refer to standard action profile for Quotations to see what SAP has delivered. -
Change status of Follow-Up with an action profile

I would like to create an action profile for the following function:
After creating an opportunity with a Follow-UP (quotation), I would like to change the status of the quotation if the opportunity is saved.
Is there any BADI which provides such a functionality?
Has anyone an idea for solving that problem?

yes, I solved that problem.
There isn't any BADI which provides this functionality, you have to implement it on your own. (new BAdI under SPRO -> CRM -> Basic Functions -> Actions -> Actions in Transactions -> BAdI Processing Methods)

I am trying to assign Return Authorization Notification (ZForm) in the CRM Transaction through Action Profile. It is asking for "Object Type Name", "Context Class" 'Processing Class" and "Processing Method" parameters. Can any one explain these parameters?

For sending Notification (ZForm) in the CRM Transaction through Action Profile follow below steps, i dont know for which transaction u want to create action (i.e. Lead, Activity, Sales Order)

Status profile for MDF Initiative
Hi All,
I want to create action profile for MDF initiative & for this status profile is required. I have not assaigned any staus profile to MDF Initiative, still different status are available in MDF Initiave. It is not the system generated status also. Now my question is, from whetehr the MDF Initiative is picking up different status..?

Thanks for the reply. MDF Initiative is not a transaction type. If you want to have a look at it, please refer it in Marketing planning & campaign management --> Basic Data --> Define Types/Objectives/Tactics. If you go for a detail view of MDF initiative, you will be able to see the option to assign status profile & action profile. As if now both are blank (Not assigned to any profile), still the initiative is picking up different status when you try to create the initiative from the MDF Program. These different status are not system status.
Now, my question is from where the initiative is picking up these different status..? Hope I have made it clear now, please do let me know if you any clarifications.
