ActiveX server error when printing

I have CR 2008 with sp3 installed on a Win2k8 R2 Enterprise server and I get a "Server Error - An error occurred on the server. Printing will be stopped. Would you like to view the error information?". This message box pops up after I select my printer and click the print button. Any suggestions?

Are you running IIS7 (OK possibly a silly question since you're on WIN 2008)?

Make sure you are not using IIS compression;

Are you using reverse proxies?

This Kb is written for CR XI R2, but the general idea will apply to CR 2008.
If none of the above helps, it may be a good idea to see if [Process Monitor|http://technet.microsoft.com/en-ca/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx] or [Charles|http://www.charlesproxy.com/download.php] tells you something. Failing that, opening a [phone case|http://store.businessobjects.com/store/bobjamer/en_US/pd/productID.98078100] will probably be best.

HP LASERJET CP1525nw print error when printing online Gmail emails with Google Chrome. Extra large font sizes and weird formatting issues only when printing emails from Gmail within Chrome. No problems when printing the same email from Gmail+Internet Exolorer or Thunderbird. Using the IE Tab extension in Chrome prints the email correctly but the style of Gmail's message window is completely weird ie: formatting bar is spread out vertically instead of horizontally. I believe it is clear that this is an application specific issue between the HP LASERJET CP1525nw printer and Google Chrome + Gmail. This printing scenario does not occur when printing anything else or when printing via another printer. I would appreciate receiving any suggestions to solve this issue.
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate x64
Browser: Google Chrome 15
HP Print driver: HP Universal Print Driver for Windows PCL6 v5.4.0
Printer is connected by WiFi to 4 computers

I am unable to access Reports and Analytics . It throws a Error 500 -Internal Server Error when I click on browse catelog button on Reports and Analytics in Fusion
I have all the required roles and also BIADMINISTRATOR ACCESS still I am unable to login to Reports and Analytics. I have cleared the cache also.
My collegue who has the same roles is able to access it.

I created the showModule.xhtml in the web.view.module\src\main\resources folder and test the application and Now I'm getting the error in both deployment ways.

It seems you are using wrong client ID. Make sure your logon pad has right details. You should verify this with your basis team.
If the problem persists then try re-installing. But before you do that you can execute sapbexc.xla which is in the c:\program files\sap\bw. Type c:\ in cell c3 and click "start button". Any red flag means you have wrong version dll/ocx on your local drive, in that case you should reinstall with right patches.

Think I'm getting closer (Lol). I did as you suggested and changed the web url to http://localhost:8888/Documents/projects/whoknew/. As you suggested I moved the local site to the Documents folder under the sub-folder projects. It is connecting to the server, but now I am getting the requested url cannot be found on the server. a) the parameter is named DESFORMAT not :DESFORMAT, there is
no : in front of the name, if you submit it via URL !
b) there are some issues with acrobat5 and IE but those are not
only caused by PDFs generated with oracle reports.

Internal Server Error when Displaying Total No. of Pages in Oracle Reports

I've already posted an almost similar message in the Developer Tools forums but would like to post it again here since we think that this is a problem with the report server (Maybe we're missing a patch, a configuration value not set properly or resources are not enough like memory).
We're using Oracle Reports Server ver10.1.2.0.2 and we're encountering an Internal Server Error when a particular report retrieves around 10K records which displays on each page the current page and the total no of pages. When we only display the current page, the report does not encounter any error.
When we enabled the tracing options, it just showed that it encountered a Null pointer exception.

And according to metalink (Doc Id:315228.1), we should just remove the total pages in our report. Problem is that this isn't an option for us. The document also mentioned about something about timeouts. We have already tried setting the request timeout parameter of the HTTP server to larger values but it still doesn't solve the problem.
Is there a workaround for this?

I am getting a 500 internal server error when trying to create users. What is the cause? We tried reinstalling the latest java jdk release and that didn't help.

Check whether your DBControl or ASControl service is still running or crashed. EM is not able to connect to the Management Server.
For instance in Windows, you may see that the Servise is not started. Then check for error logs in $ORACLE_HOME/sysman/logs for any related error messages in the log files
