Activity reporting for document explorer

Hi All,
I am looking into various options of activity reporting inside document explorer iView. We have various folders and subfolders inside /document folder where a lot of users are accessing the documents (Read or edit) on reguloar basis. Is there any possibility of finding the usage of each folders inside /document folder i.e. how many users read/edited the documents/folders in fix time frames.
Any inputs on this will be highly appreciated.

Create an Activity Report for Current Week

I would like to create a activity report for the current week. The trick is that if the weekday is Wednesday or earlier (Sunday being the first day of the week), the report shows last week's activities; but if the weekday is Thursday or later (Saturday being the last day of the week), the report shows the current weeks activities.
I have a filter that works in Access but does not seem to work in Siebel. It does just what I explained above:
Between CDate(Int((IIf(Weekday(Now())<=4,Now()-(6+Weekday(Now())),Now()-(Weekday(Now())-1))))) And CDate(Int((IIf(Weekday(Now())<=4,Now()-Weekday(Now()),Now()+(7-Weekday(Now()))))))

This gave me the sunday of the week. You should be able to modify this format for your purposes.

Hi,
If you want to check amounts of withholding tax for the vendors, you have some options to view it. You can access the WITH_ITEM, LFC1 tables by SE16. You have too the S_P00_07000134 report. This report is developed for the Colombia but I already used for the another country with the ABAP development for this country.
Also you can use table join BSIK and WITH_ITEM by SQVI for the open items and BSAK and WITH_ITEM for cleared items. It is more simple and fast.

Is there some kind of Activity Report only for Collaboration Rooms ? Like we have Portal Activity Report for entire portal.

You can run the room usage analysis to check how often particular rooms have been used in a specific period. Please check out the following page on help.sap.com:

How to pass bean variable to resourceID for Document Explorer ?

Hello experts, I have added WebCenter document explorer task flow in my ADF which as parameter called resourceId. I want to pass bean variable to this parameter since the Content IDs (doc Name or Ids) are decided dynamically.
When I provide ${'UCM57Server#dDocName:1379596941565_CONTACT_OPTREGI'} as resourceId in the expression, it is working very fine. But samething if I assign to a bean variable and assign bean variable as ${sessionScope.MyBean.docName}, it is evaluating the bean variable as ${'UCM57Server#dDocName:1379596941565_CONTACT_OPTREGI'} and then throws below exception :

Document explorer is not the way to go in order to view multiple documents of your choice, the Resource ID field is just a starting path. Check this link for all parameters about Documents Explorer
If you want to view multiple documents, you should use Content Presenter and specify the query that these documents falls under. Check this link for add Documents Task Flows

DMS - Reports for documents marked with deltion indicator

Hello Guys,
Kindly let me know is there any standard reports available from sap which can highlight me the list of documents that are marked with deletion indicator.
If not whats the work around for that?
Also adding to deletion indicator, I would like to capture the reason for deletion of original from document info record? But I found there is no specific place to capture the reason for document deletion.

Dear Fapreeth,
For getting the list of document marked with deletion indicator you can goto Tcode "cv04n" there keep all other searching criteria empty just specify criteria for <b>deletion indicator</b> as "X W. Del.Ind." you can use <F4> to select that value.... than execute the search and you will receive list of documents with active deletion indicator...

Report for document splitting GL account

In legacy, when there were accounting entries across two profit centers (like HO transfer amount to its plant) then it would routed through Inter Division account. By doing this, HO would come to know amount receivable and payable from other plant.
But in new GL accounting in SAP ECC6.0, such entries are routed through Document Slitting clearing account. So my doubt is how will i come to know how much amount is transferred between two profit centers. Is there any standard report for analyzing document splitting account.

as far as I understand, document splitting clearing account is not for the purpose you mentioned (if you mean the clearing account in GSP_KD1). you don't need to analyze those accounts which are only for balancing.

WHT amount not appearing in FBL1N report for Document type RE

Dear Friends,
While running FBL1N report for any vendor where TDS is applicable, the WHT amount is appearing for KR document type. But when it is RE document type the WHT amount is not appearing in the report. How can we resolve this? Any enhancement/any note to be applied?

FBL1N is having the classic withholding tax field hence please don't refer the those fields.

BSEG-QBSHB is designed to fill for the classic withholding tax. And
extended withholding tax information is stored exclusive in table
WITH_ITEM.
You can check in table BSEG for the fields and will find that system
do NOT update field BSEG-QBSHB.
In your line layout,you define a field BSEG-QBSHB. But actully the field
of vendor/customer line item is filled with zero from FI. Thus,it shows
zero in line item display.
And as note 363309 says,
"Remove the field which contains the withholding tax information
from your display variant.
If you want to display the withholding tax information, double-click on
the document number and subsequently choose 'Withholding tax'."

Issue running a User Activity Report for Lync

When trying to run a User Activity Report, I am receiving the below error
An error occurred during client rendering.
An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
Query execution failed for dataset 'CallList'. (rsErrorExecutingCommand)
@_Endtime is not a parameter for procedure CdrP2PSessionList.
Any ideas on this error?

Activity reports for actual activity

I like the new reports feature of the VLM, but would it not be cool if it was able to trend the actual programming activity of the users, and not just how long the license was checked out?
Let's say that if there was no activity (defined for example as not even a mouse movement in any of the IDE's windows) for n minutes, then the system would unregister the license as in use (license-wise it could still be checked out, but not as in activity).
Sure, we could use other tools for this, and some people might want to make it optional - but as long as the report feature is there already, would not this little change make it quite a bit more interesting?

Thanks for your feedback! I agree that this data would provide a potentially interesting report for admins. This would be a feature of the application software itself (like LabVIEW, CVI, etc).
I will record this idea as a suggestion for those teams.

Portal Activity Reports for multiple groups

Hi,
Can the report display the count of users belonging to multiple groups or would it have to be created seperately for each group. I have tried to use wild cards and commas and nothing worked, the field does not accept more than one valid group name to be entered. Any ideas how to work around this without having to create a different report for different groups?

Hi EAmin,
You can only show information about users who belong to a specific group and not multiple groups. But if you want to show users in multiple groups, you can create a new group (say temp) and add the other groups to temp. Now, configure the report to display users in group temp.

One of my customers wish to get information about the use of it´s application. He is not the adminsitrator of the workspace.
As an administrator of the workspace you can run reports about activity for applications/users.
I would like to build it as a part of the application of my customer.
Can anyone point me in the right direction ?

Standard SAP report for documents

Is there any standard SAP transaction code where we can get all sales order and there corresponsing billing documents in case of order related billing?

I doubt any standard report would give you like of Sales Orders & corresponding Billing Documents.
You will have to either:
1. Generate a Query (SQ00)
2. Generate a Z-report with help of your ABAPer.

The report MF12 can help you in getting the postings that has happened for a plant and using the type
B : Backflush
Goods receipt, goods issue and activity backflush.
