Actualizar a Windows 8 desactiva itunes match

Try holding down CTRL as you launch iTunes to see if it will repair the drivers.
Or try Cerbu's post here.
Or see TS1538: iOS: Device not recognized in iTunes for Windows, in particular section 5, forcing a driver update.

my icloud songs not showing up in my itunes window even though itunes match is turned on

I Am having a similar issue with my husbands iTunes match. I restored a 2011 iMac and decided to download all my husbands music via iTunes match.  Apart from taking ages, he only has 2,500 songs on the match, it greyed out lots of songs, which later I found out said that they were 'waiting' also, loads are missing. I tried following someone else's thread and tried to delete the greyed out ones so I can download again but I fear I may have completely deleted them. Also, I have a lot of duplicates, both on iCloud and both downloaded! What's happening? My iTunes appear to be behaving ok!

  • Is there a min PC Windows requirement for ITunes Match?

Apart from having the latest version of iTunes downloaded on a PC is there a minimum WIndows software requirement?
I'm planning on importing Audio CDs onto my iTunes account using my office PC and then setting up iTunes Match to get the Library to all my personal OS devices.
I have a MacBook Air and therefore need to use the office PC to import.

    Hi,
Delete play count as suggested but do not select update iTunes Match.

  • Windows right click iTunes Match iCloud option missing

    Hi there
Running a PC on Windows 7
In itunes I've noticed that when I right click on a song that hasn't uploaded the iCloud options have gone
Anyone else got this issue and a fix for it?
Should I just reinstall iTunes? or is this a known bug with a fix on the way?
    Many thanks

That's because the track is now available in the cloud. You need to enable the iCloud Status column to see then status of the song. Pull down View > View Options, select "icloud status" and click OK. After the initial scan, match and upload process has completed you will see one of two statuses on a track: "matched" or "uploaded." Neither of these will have the "add to icloud" option in the contextual menu. Andy songs that are "waiting" still need to be processed by iTunes Match.
Keep in mind that not all songs actually "upload" to the cloud; most of them will "match" to songs in the iTunes Store. Hence the name of the service: iTunes Match.

  • Itunes match not working on windows

On my windows pc, my itunes match is not working. When i look at my library it is all greyed out and itunes tells me to sign out and then sign back in on the itunes store. But that only fixes the problem temporarily. If i close itunes and reopen it, i have to do this process all over again. If anyone has any insight as to why this is happening it would be much appreciated.
    OS: Windows 8
Itunes version: 11.0.5 (newest version at the time of writing this) 64 bit

I am having exactly the same issue and also for me "everything used to work fine".  It's only been in the past 2 weeks when I deleted a bunch of songs that now my songs won't play, or the next song in the playlist plays while still showing the former song, or entire albums just don't play at all.
It seems like is started for me when I unchecked "show all music library" in my Music Settings so I would only see the music that I had downloaded to my phone.  But I have tried "show all music" again and turning off and on iTunes Match but nothing seems to help.
This is a real problem...hopefully Apple can get this one fixed or someone has a solution...

Thank god finally my iTunes store is visible now & came back to normal form after uninstalling the "speedbit video downloader" software from my winows 8 PC.  My puzzle solved finaly but still I want to raise my concern to iTunes developers "Why I need to uninstall third party apps to make my iTunes work properly?"  If this is the case all the iTunes users need to restrict themselves and need to spare a lots of their time to investigate before installing other Windows apps.
@Caffineohoic: I can understand ur frustraion dude as I too gone through it till now. My crappy update might not solve ur problem but it worked for me as I followed the steps properly. Wish u good luck.

  • I can't subscribe to Match on Win 7 with iTunes 10.6.3.25. When Apple ID auth window comes up iTunes crashes with "iTunes stopped working" and iTunes closes.

On Windows 7 with iTunes 10.6.3.25 I cannot subscribe to iTunes Match. In iTunes I click on iTunes Match in the left pane then click the "Subscribe for $25 a year" button. A window that looks like I am going to be asked to login using my Apple ID and password starts to come up but then an error occurs and I get a window that says "iTunes stopped working" then iTunes closes. What can I do ?

I've also read somewhere about using Win Rar to extract files to do with apple mobile device support from the itunes installer file, would you recommend that to? I don't really fancy the idea of doing anything that involves my registry because knowing me I'll end up screwing my laptop up for good lol
It's a little more involved than just doing a standalone AppleMobileDeviceSupport64.msi install, I'm afraid. The relevant drivers in AMDS are not digitally signed for 64-bit XP, so you have to force XP to accept a driver install that it would try its damnedest to not do. There's no driver issues for other 64-bit componentry in the installer package (I think the GEAR drivers install on XP 64-bit systems), but I believe there's still a bit of fancy footwork involved in getting them installed too ... although it's been a long time since I've looked at an instruction set, and I might not be recalling those things correctly. (So if you're not comfortable with system modifications, it might be best to steer clear of the Orca-based techniques ...)

  • ITunes Match and iTunes Radio commercials on Windows Only

I have iTunes Match turned on and several PC's, an iMac, several iPhones and Apple TV all registered and functional.  I seem to get commercials only when I listen to iTunes radio when listening on the Windows PC version.  The commercials are all short, but present.  I checked the previous submissions and found the Store --> Update iTunes Match command, which didn't seem to resolve the problem.  The local PC doesn't have a local library of music, but it is also registered and using the same Apple ID for home sharing.
Is this by design or is there something else I can check for disabling the commercials?  This PC is in my office and where I listen mostly, so would be nice to eliminate the commercials entirely (I'm kind of tired of the Gwen Stefanie ad coming to my screen when I am on conference calls).

Is it possible to set-up an IOS 6 device to sync with iTunes Match but also set-up additional playlists of music that are stored on the device hard drive?
With iTunes Match enabled on an iOS device traditional syncing via USB is disabled. All music managment must take place directly on the device.

The songs will be stored on the device until you delete them. There is no "timer" feature, though.

  • ITunes Match on Windows 7 64 iTunes 10.5.2 64 -  - please sign in again itunes match has encountered an error. Please choose sign out and then sign in from the itunes store menu and try again.

Windows 7 64 itunes 10.5.2 64 - I receive the following error message when opening iTunes - please sign in again itunes match has encountered an error. Please choose sign out and then sign in from the itunes store menu and try again.
When I try to sign out iTunes freezes and I need to shut down windows entirely to get it to open again.
Has anybody been able to resolve this issue?

After many annoying sign-in-out-iTunes-match-activation problems I found an easy solution for me. When the iTunes Cloud symbol is broken (and I should sign in again) I just deactivate my notebooks (Windows 7) Wifi (with Fn+F5 for my Thinkpad). Then I call up the Itunes store and iTunes tells my that there is no connection to the internet (most probaply this step is not necessesary). After manual re-activation of my Wifi iTunes seems to re-establish the connection and the Cloud symbol signalizes that iTunes match does work, again.
    Hope, this helps.

  • ITunes Match crash on Windows 7 pc

    Hello,
Anyone who could assist me with iTunes crashing when on step 2 from iTunes Match on Windows 7 64bit? I have reinstalled iTunes, no effect. I have taken the error tracks out as suggested in a forum, didn't help. Of course I prefer not to format and reinstall Windows as I just did it last week because of some other software issues.
Every time I restart iTunes I manage to get about 200 songs past the last crash point but since I have 20000 songs I can't keep on doing this.
    Thanks!

+I think it may depend on lots of factors, processor, ram, music collection,+
I agree with Miles on this. 1 minute sounds kind of long for 8GB, but if you have a lot of other programs open as well, I can see that.
Also, if you have security software, it might be scanning itunes when it starts up and that could add time.

  • ITunes 11.1.4.62 for Windows Breaks iTunes Match

After upgrading to iTunes 11.1.4.62 for Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit, my iTunes Match no longer works.  It insists that I pay for another subscription even though I have a valid subscription already.  This issue has been going on for over a week with no response from Apple Support.  Is anyone else experiencing a similar issue?  What can I do to remedy this problem?

I use a utility called ByeTunes that removed Itunes completely of my pc "It's free"       and got a good down load of Itunes.a few weeks after they correct the upgrade.LOL

Hi all.  I can’t tell you how to solve your iCloud 3.x issues.  Heck, I don’t think they’re even solvable.
But if you had a previous version of iCloud that was working correctly then I can definitely tell you how to solve the “iCloud Photo Stream is not syncing correctly to my Windows 7 PC” problem.  …without even a re-boot.
Log out of iCloud 3.0 and uninstall it.
Open My Computer and then open your C:\ drive.  Go to Tools/Folder Options and click on the View tab.  Select the “Show hidden…” radio button and click on OK.
    Open the Users folder.
    Open your user folder
    Open ProgramData (previously hidden folder)
Open the Apple folder – not the Apple Computer folder.
    Open the Installer Cache folder
In Details view sort on Name
Open the folder for the newest entry for iCloud Control Panel 2.x – probably 2.1.2.8 dated 4/25/2013
Right click on iCloud64.msi and select Install.
When finished, the synching between iCloud and your PC will be back to working perfectly as before the 3.0 fiasco.  The pictures will be synched to the same Photostream folder as before the “upgrade”.  Now all you need to do is wait until Apple/Microsoft get this thing fixed and working before you try the 3.x upgrade again.
I think the iCloud 3.0 software was written by the same folks who wrote healthcare.gov with the main difference being that healthcare.gov might eventually be made to work.
For those of you who hate to go backwards, think of it as attacking to the rear.  Which would you rather have, the frustration of no synching or everything working on an older version?
    Good luck…

  • Itunes match crashes itunes in windows 8

Hi. Just signed up for iTunes Match and went to sync all of my items with it. Every attempt to sync my music with iTunes to the cloud results in an inevitable crash of iTunes. i have restarted the computer, restarted iTunes, reinstalled iTunes, but not luck completing the task. i make ti almost uploading all of my info and about to handle the artwork, etc. and iTunes crashes and shuts down.
I do not know how to fix this and would like to try to do so. If i cannot get the service to work, i would at least like the cost of the service refunded.

I have been fighting this for awhile.  At first I thought I was having a networking problem but what I have found is that iTunes cannot write to a Windows 8 or Server 2012 share.  It is also very flaky when installed directly on the machine. Here is what I have learned.
iTunes in a windows 7 virtual machine = Cannot write to server 2012 share
iTunes in a windows 8 virtual machine = Cannot write to server 2012 share and becomes unstable with a local library.
iTunes in server 2012 = instant crash
I understand Apple does not support iTunes 10.7 on windows 8, but this seems strange.  I would have assumed that installing iTunes on a windows 7 machine and targeting a library on a server 2012 share would work, but it crashes waiting for a network response anytime it tries to write to the library or download anything.
People seem to think iTunes 11 will work.  I guess we will find out.
BTW - When iTunes crashes it makes the machine and then server virtually unusable.  The only way to recover is to remove the network connection to the machine with iTunes.  This will bring both machines back and let you reboot normally.

  • Conflict between iTunes Match and Windows 8.1

I have been running iTunes on my fully updated Windows 8.1 PC for some time, without any particular issues. A few days ago, I activated iTunes match. It worked just fine, in the perspective of my iPhone and iPad. However, my PC stopped being responsive: Long time-outs on just about anything, and dialog windows refusing to appear (one of them being the McAfee console ....). A virus search using Microsoft's emergency services showed nothing.
The moment I de-activated iTunes match, everyhing reverted to normal.
My conclusion is, there is a major conflict between whatever the iTunes match service does, and the Windows 8.1 operating system.
Any idea what this is all about, and if there is anything I can do about it (except avoiding using the match functionality)?
I have the latest update of iTunes for PC.

    Hi lars1950,
    Welcome to Apple Support Communities.
It sounds like you're seeing issues with Windows responding slowly since enabling iTunes Match. The article below may resolve the issue for you, it describes possible conflicts with Layered Service Providers and how to prevent them.

I Have downloaded the 64 bit version of iTunes for my Sony running Windows 8.  Install went fine and I can get in to iTunes and see the music residing on this machine.  However, everytime that I try to run iTunes Match Windows crashes.  So frustrating.  BTW, this worked fine until a couple of weeks ago.  Anyone know what's going on?

How big is your library?  I would recommend the following troubleshooting steps:
    - Backup your library.  Always a good idea before messing with things.
    - Create a new library.   Refer to this article for details:  http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1589.  This won't delete your old library, you're just creating a new empty one.  Also refer to this article to get back to your old library later.
    - Add a few albums into this new library.  Not everything, just a small sampling, as a test.
    - Activate Match on this new library.  You shouldn't have to re-pay, it should just say "Add Computer" or similar.
    - At this point, Match should run again. With just a few albums it should complete in just a few minutes.
If iTunes doesn't crash at this point, then likely there's something about your original library that Match doesn't like - what that is I don't know, but at least you'll know it's not your PC.   If iTunes still crashes, then if could be a number of other things, but probably not your library.   My next suggestion (if you haven't already done this) is to uninstall / reinstall iTunes.   If that doesn't work, then my next ideas you won't like.
