AD Trusted Recon not working OOTB

I am using OIM 9.1 on Oracle Application Server 10g, Java 1.4.2 provided by the Oracle Application Server, in a RedHat environment.
I require multiple trusted resources -
1. flat file
2. AD (non-SSL)
My Flat File works fine, I can reconcile users in successfully. I have imported the Trusted Recon XML from AD already, and use the fields auto-generated from AD as my Xellerate User Recon Object mapping for the flat file.
However, when I run the scheduled task, ActiveDirectoryReconTask, it gives me two issues.
1) The scheduled task won't get out of "RUNNING" mode.
2) The scheduled task throws the following NoClassDefFoundError, as shown in the logs:

My questions are:
1. Has anyone run into this issue, or know what the origin of this issue is? It looks like it's not picking up a class file. However, I have the LDAP jar downloaded, provisioning works fine.
3. How can I get my scheduled task to get out of RUNNING mode and actually stop? The "Last Stop Time" doesn't update, and the only time I can re-run the task is by bouncing the server.
Thanks for your help.

The problem that you are having is because the ldapsdk-4.17.jar is not in your third party directory.
To quote the deployment guide for the connector:
"You can search for and download the ldapsdk-4.17.jar file from the Internet and copy it into the OIM_home/xellerate/ThirdParty directory."
(Not the most clear and straightforward language but at least it is mentioned.)
You can get the SDK here: http://www.mozilla.org/directory/javasdk.html
I thought the 9.0.1.4 version was supposed to have transitioned over to pure JNDI but it seems like the connector stills uses some things in the old lib. Oracle also used to distribute the old Netscape build of this component as a part of the connector but it seems like someone (probably the Oracle lawyers) disliked this practice.
Good luck!

  • Trusted RFC not working for different user , working for same user

    Dear All,
I have two SAP system - One Solman (7.0) and another ECC 6.0 (SR3) on HPUX box with Oracle DB (Unicode).
I want to establish Trust relationship between these system.
I have configured the same, as per the following link:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/8b/0010519daef443ab06d38d7ade26f4/content.htm
    and note 128447.
My requirement is one user X in solman client 001,
will execute some test plan (Tcode stwb_2) which will take the control to ECC 6.0 client 200, execute the tcode as user Y and come back in Solman again.
    The user X (SAP_ALL) exists in Solman - client 001 and user Y (SAP_ALL) exists in ECC 6.0 - client 200.
In ECC 6.0 client 200, I have created a role ZRFCACL with the following and assigned to the user Y (as per the above help / note):
    Role : ZRFCACL
    Auth. Obj: S_RFCACL
    Value assigned to fields are:
         RFC_SYSID : SOL
         RFC_CLIENT: 001
         RFC_USER  : X
         RFC_EQUSER: N
         RFC_TCODE : *
         RFC_INFO  : *
         ACTVT     : 16
Whenever the user  X is trying to execute the test from solman, he is getting the error : "No authorization to log on as trusted system (RC = 0)"
Each time the user is trying the above, in ECC 6.0, the following dump is occuring:
    CALL_FUNCTION_SINGLE_LOGIN_REJ under username SAPSYS
I have assigned the role ZRFCACL to user X in Solman also.
Next, I have performed the following check:
created one user M in both system
created the role ZRFCACL2 in ECC 6.0 client 200 as follows and assigned the role to user M:
         Role : ZRFCACL2
         Auth. Obj: S_RFCACL
         Value assigned to fields are:
              RFC_SYSID : SOL
              RFC_CLIENT: 001
              RFC_USER  : ''
              RFC_EQUSER: Y
              RFC_TCODE : *
              RFC_INFO  : *
              ACTVT     : 16
Assigned SAP_ALL to user M in both system (So the user M in Solman does not have ZRFCACL2).
This time, the trust relationship worked and no dump got generated.
I have also checked the thread Trusted RFC do not work
but unable to resolve the issue.
Any suggestion where the things are going wrong in this / what else I need to check or this is not possible at all?
Thanks in advance for your help.

  • Acrobat 8 pro Trust manager not working ?

Hi I have a problem with version 8 of Adobe Acrobat Pro. Here's a little description of my situation :
I have a set of custom Acrobat Plug-ins and VB.NET application using the Acrobat SDK that can be use on a set of PDF documents to automaticaly generate links (buttons) in the said PDF documents based on the document's content. This is a batch process.
The problem I have is that we have imported some Javascript code (fdf files) in those PDF documents prior to the batch process so each time that one of the PDF is opened in Acrobat 8 we get that security warning popup. when using Acrobat 7, we simply go to the trust manager and select "Allow" as default behavior and the popup does not appear anymore BUT I have some users that have Acrobat 8 installed and even if we select "Allow" for all sites in the trust manager, the  damn popup keeps poping !  And I still haven't figured out why !?!?
Does anybody have an idea on this ? anybody had the same problem ?
Any help would be greatly appreciate.
    Thanks
    Alex.

Ok, f*ck that. I tested with a new installation of Acrobat 8.0.0 and our process works just fine. Then, I installed 8.1.0 update and the Security Warning start poping again and again even when "Allow All" is checked in the trust manager. Didn't find any solution other than reinstalling Acrobat 8.0.0 pro to get rid of the update or installing Acrobat 7 pro which always worked fine.
    Damn updates...

  • Flash Player trust file not working with Embedded browser on linux

    Hi,
I have an application which embeds a browser based on
Xulrunner inside it. I have couple of flash swf files I need to
load in the browser. The swf files talk with a javascript to change
the page title and also to change the URL when I am browsing
through the content in the URL. I need the URL change because I
need to remember where I was in the flash content so that I can go
directly to that place in the flash file when I open my browser the
    next time.
To let the swf file do this I created a cfg file and placed
it into the Flash Player Trust folder( I tried both the local one
    at /home/user/.macromedia/Flash_Player/#Security/FlasPlayerTrust
and global trust file location at /etc/adobe/FlashPlayerTrust ) ,
but I didn't get the expected result. I debugged into my app and
found that the swf never reset the Title of the page( which
indicates that the javascript was blocked) . It works fine from a
firefox browser but not from inside my embedded browser. My app
also works fine on windows and Mac . This is observed only on
Linux. Can any body think of what else I need to do get my
javascript embedded in the flash file working?
    Thanks
    jbsp72

I tried out a few more things since nobody on this forum was
responding. I tried installing another application which also
embeds xulrunner browser. So I downloaded Prism which is a simple
xulrunner based browser. The flash works fine with that and the URL
gets set appropriately. So is there any setting I need to do to get
it working. Or could somebody atleast point me to the right place
    to ask this question? :(

  • Oracle Identity Manger 9.1.0 Recon not working

I created a database connector using the generic technology connector, and tried to do reconciliation using the auto created scheduled task.
But on reconciliation it gives the following error:
    java.lang.NullPointerException
    at com.thortech.xl.dataobj.util.tcAttributeSource.getAttrColumnName(Unknown
    Source)
    at com.thortech.xl.dataobj.tcRCE.createUserRecord(Unknown Source)
    at com.thortech.xl.dataobj.tcRCE.applyActionRules(Unknown Source)
    at com.thortech.xl.dataobj.tcRCE.checkDataSorted(Unknown Source)
    I have already tried this : https://metalink.oracle.com/metalink/plsql/f?p=130:14:6550648944033092167::::p14_database_id,p14_docid,p14_show_header,p14_show_help,p14_black_frame,p14_font:NOT,461523.1,1,1,1,helvetica
    which says to
If "User Type" and "Employee Role" are defined in the reconciliation field mappings for the "Xellerate User" process definition, then they should be updated and changed to "Xellerate Type" and "Role" respectively. The incorrect mappings may be easily corrected through the OIM Design Console (java client) using the following instructions:
    1. Query for the process definition of Xellerate User
    2. Go to Reconciliation Field Mappings tab
    3. Look for fields that are mapped to User Type and Employee Role.
Note: If no fields are mapped to User Type and Employee Role, then nothing needs to be done. Stop here.
    4. Double click on the field that needs to be remapped and select the correct user attribute as follows
    a. Replace ‘User Type’ with ‘Xellerate Type’
    b. Replace ‘Employee Role’ with ‘Role’
Note: If the mappings are already set to “Xellerate Type” and “Role”, then the mappings are already correct; no further action is required.
    My Configuration :
    OS for App server is Windows 2003 SP2 [ 5.2.3790 ]
    App Server type/version: Jboss 403SP1 [4.0.3SP1 (build: CVSTag=JBoss_4_0_3_SP1date=200510231751)]

  • Solman trusted system not working

    Dear Experts,
Few Months back we have completed the OS/DB Hardware migration.
After that whenever any end user trying to post the message from production system, system is asking for password then posting the message. before that w/o asking the password, end user can post the message.
I have checked the trust system authorization but still facing the problem.
Please help to solve this issue.
    Thanks and Regards,
    Dipak

    hi dipak,
There are certain factors you need to checkl.
    1) Have you attached the role to the correct user and you have generated the profile.
2)If the problem still persist then you give the trusted system option as NO in the security tab and untick the logon screen option then in below down you should be able to see an area called logon there you need to put your user name and password of the solution manager system.
If still you are facing the issue then you need to check whether your user login has the following roles
    SAP_SUPPDESK_ADMIN
    SAP_SUPPDESK_CREATE
ZSOL_ATT- in this you need to generate a profile for CRM_ORDER
if you still have the problem
in the profile tab of the user please add the profiles
    SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW
This i hope will resolve your problem,
please let me know if you have any further problem
           Best wishes,

  • EMac G4 airport card not reconized - not working

    Hello,
I have an eMac G4 (700Mhz, 40GB HD, 768MB, Combo) and the airport card isn't working. I took the hard drive out of the emac and put in a bigger one. after i did that, the airport wireless card wouldn't work. So i put the origional 40GB HD back in (i didn't erase it) and i still cannot get the airport to work. I'm pretty sure everything is hooked up right, whats wrong with this emac? please help[, I NEED INTERNET!!!!!
    The MacGuy12

The original Airport card used by the 700 MHz eMac is far easier to insert than the Airport Extreme card used in later Mac models, but Patrick is I suspect onto a likely cause in asking if you removed the Airport card before opening the eMac's chassis. It's apparently quite easy to bend the pin connector edge of the Airport card in 700 MHz eMacs if the card is still in its slot when the chassis is separated (something learned from the moron, er, ChumpUSA service tech, attempting to repair my eMac for raster shift four years back).
Try removing the card, as Patrick has already suggested, but before reinserting it, check carefully for evidence of bending on the pin connector. If it is bent, you'd be better off looking for a wireless Ethernet bridge as a replacement, since original Airport cards are difficult to find.
Hopefully it'll turn out to be something more simple and easy to fix, such as the loose antenna connector that Patrick suggested. Good luck!

Has anyone tried installing TD Canada trust banking application on Z10? I tried several times but it keeps saying "Unavailable for this device". I phoned TD and they say it has nothing to do with them, but with Telus, Telus says nothing to do with them but with Blackberry.........And I cannot reach anyone from BB to give me an answer. Thanks

Ok, I understand your point, but when I buy this phone (suppose to be better than all other BB), I am looking forward to have at least the same apps that I add on my bold before. so don't put it on a market before you can propose at least the same apps.

  • Ghost Recon not Working

I just bought the gForce4 TI4200 64mb 8x card that came with GR  in the bundle.  However, I cannot play it once installed.  After double-click, screen goes black, then goes back to the desktop.  I've installed the 2 latest patches from the GR site, but still no go.  Anyone else have this issue?

BoneDaddy13, exactly what version of VGA drivers are you using currently? If you are using MSI's own versions of drivere that came with the CD, I recommend you to download the latest version of the Detonator from nVidia 's website. I think they will update the Detonators very soon, but the latest one there is 41.09. I am using this version of the Detonator on my GeForce 3. Although it's different and older than your GeForce 4, but I am positive that this version will run Ghost Recon just fine, because I have that game :D .
Also, tell us more more about your power supply? What's its rating and the supply rails?

Validation Event handlers will not work with your trusted recon. You can use the GTC Validation provider, it is nothing but the plugins which you can insert with in your source field in GTC. I think you can easily get the steps for how to create a custom GTC Providers.

  • Getting Error - Cause: Status of the batch is not 'Completed' in OIM 11g R2 during Trusted Recon

    Hi All
I am new to OIM 11g R2. I am trying to create custom connector for trusted recon. The case is to migrate the users from 10g to 11g R2. The recon event is created but it is in Event Recieved status and when I re-evaluate the event, its giving error - Cause: Status of the batch is not 'Completed'.
I saw in some posts to change the recon batch size parameter to 0 and restart the server. I have done that but still I am facing the same issue.
There is no child data in the attribute mapping and user login is set as key.
Any inputs are welcome on how to get rid of this error.

  • OIM Event Handler Triggers on Manual Entry but not for Trusted Recons

    Hi,
I'm having some trouble getting my plugin to trigger upon a reconciliation. I've developed a plugin to modify some Xellerate User attributes on the OIM Profile.
    - I've created a custom package with some java classes that retrieve attributes being passed in, manipulates the data, and returns the data through an EventResult
    - I have system.out commands in my BulkEventResult function to see when this function is triggered
    - My Plugin.xml calls this java class, which has a plugin point of oracle.iam.platform.kernel.spi.EventHandler
    - I've uploaded the plugin (development) by putting the plugin.zip in the /server/plugin folder
    - I've created an event handler that calls the plugin class upon an operation = "MODIFY". It also contains entity-type="User", stage="postprocess", order="FIRST", sync="TRUE"
    - I've imported this using the weblogic import utility, setting OIMMetadata, and loaded the file to /custom/iam-data/EventHandler.xml
Upon testing, I am able to see my system.out debug statements in the logs, and can see the data actually changing when I am logged into OIM making changes directly on the system.
I am unable to see any of this come through when I run a trusted OID reconciliation against the same user, manipulating the same fields.
From what I've read, all I needed to do was put the code in the BulkEventResult function. However, none of my debug statements are being triggered, causing me to believe that this event handler is not even being triggered upon a trusted recon.
Does anyone have any ideas why this is, or if I have a configuration somewhere that is incorrect?
    Any help is very welcome!

    Everyone,
    Thanks for your help.
I found out the root of my issue: it was that my OPERATION was set to "MODIFY" in my EventHandler XML. It should have been "ANY". After I did this, it started to work.
As for registering plug-ins, you can actually drop the plugin zip file on the Oracle_IDM1/server/plugin directory for testing purposes, then re-import the EventHandler.XML you created.
I also found a few strange behaviors-
    - If the order was too large (for example, 1000), it wouldn't trigger until the second time I updated it. I lowered the number to 50 and it kicked off every time.
    - There is no purge cache needed when I re-imported the xml file after uploading the .jar again

  • Not getting all the attributes value from Trusted Recon in eventhandler

    Hi,
I am not getting the values of all the attributes in hashmap from Trusted recon in eventhandler.
Following is the hashmap value I am getting :
    Parameter Hashmap value is {re_key=1869, Email=[email protected], Role=Full-Time, act_key=22, User Login=TUser43, Xellerate Type=End-User, Last Name=User43, First Name=Test}
Please let me know how to get all the attributes value in eventhandler. I need to take some decisions based on these attributes.
    Thanks

You should be getting all the values in the recon event.
To get the current user states for all the records in the bulk event use this:
    Identity[] currentUserStates = (Identity[]) eventDataHashMap.get("CURRENT_USER");
Now when you are looping through your bulkParametersp[], you can use the same get from the currentUserStates:
    Identity currentUser = null;
    currentUser = currentUserStates[counter];
Now if the attribute is not in your hashmap, you can use:
    currentUserState.getAttributes().get(attribute)
