'Add a Page' missing from Site Actions

Hello,
We are having a weird problem on our SharePoint 2013 server where the menu item "Add a page" is no longer in Site Action menu.
All sites are publishing sites and we have custom masterpage with custom pagelayouts too.
We don't have other custom packages/webparts/solutions installed, everything is standard SharePoint except the masterpages and pagelayouts.
There are no javascripts error on the pages. We are running as Site Collection Administrators.
The menu item was there before, it suddenly disappeared.
We also installed the design package on another server and the menu item "Add a page" is there.
There are errors in the logs saying:

Publishing
8ts5 Unexpected
Exception in file C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Web Server Extensions\15\Template\Layouts\EditingMenu\SiteAction.xml: Object reference not set to an instance of an object.

Hi hipplan,
According to your description, my understanding is that ‘Add a page’ is missing in your site.
Whether ‘Add a page’ occurred on a subsite at the same site collection.
This issue seems to be caused by custom something in your master page.
Please deactivate and activate publishing features at site collection level and site level.
Check whether the Wiki Page Home Page is active at the site level.
Then do the followings:
1.Open IIS
2.Click Application Pools
3.Select the web application pool that you use for your site
4.Right-click it, and select ‘Recycling…’
5.Reset IIS
After the above, open the site again, compare the result.

Why is "add to rig" missing from drop menu?

I am missing the "Add To Rig" option on the drop down menu when trying to add parameters. Interesting thing is that the parameter I'm trying to add already has the rig icon showing yet isn't showing when I publish. Am I missing a simple preference or option?

EG1032 drivers missing from site

Seems the drivers for EG1032 are missing from the support page. I chatted support and they said it was because "GPL licsense agreements are vaild for a specific time period, which is now over" So they remove old drivers because of some expired GPL? Seems like a bullsh!t answer to me, and Linksys just being lazy.

Add iWeb page to exisitng site?

Is it possible to intermingle an iWeb page within an exisiting website without creating problems and messing up my exisitng site? Or do I need to add some other way?
I imagine I could uploadt via FTP (to my server's public_html folder???) and use Contribute to link the iWeb page(s) to my exisitng site...
If all this is possible would someone give me the steps?

Yes, this is possible. You just do this with links in your existing site.

That's right, you can upload your iWeb site folder to your server's public_html folder...just be able to describe the site folder in a URL...
If all this is possible would someone give me the
steps?
1. Publish iWeb site using "Publish to Folder" onto your desktop. You will see a folder containing two things: an "index.html" file and the actual site folder.
2. Upload this site folder to your server using your FTP program. Put it wherever you are instructed to upload HTML files. Upload just the site folder (one of the two items resulting from iWeb's Publish to Folder command).
3. Test out your iWeb site by accessing it from the URL that it should be accessible from your server... this will be the URL that you must provide links to in your existing site.
4. Edit your existing site to provide links to the new iWeb pages...using contribute or whatever you usually use. Link to your iWeb site using the URL you discovered in Step 3.

Web pages missing from PDF conversion of my website

The top page of my website has an expander list with links to subpages. When I convert my site to PDF, Acrobat skips those subpages. The expander list is closed during PDF conversion, so the links are not visible preventing Acrobat from "seeing" these subpages.
How can I make Acrobat "see" these pages?

In WORD try these for comparison: 1. Print to the Adobe PDF printer and 2. Use the Adobe menu to convert to PDF (this is PDF Maker). There are possibly 2 conversion to PDF processes in the file menu. One is equivalent to PDF Maker (Save As Adobe PDF) and the other is the MS conversion to PDF (Save As PDF or XPS).
One additional issue you may run into (since you mentioned page numbers) is a change in formating when creating the PDF. To avoid this change, be sure the Adobe PDF printer is selected in the print menu before editing the DOC file. Another option is to make the Adobe PDF printer the default.

Pages missing from my purchases

Hi I have bought downloaded & installed pages previously on my macbook pro which is now broken (squiggly graphics) no problem with verifications or hardware check OK too.
I am using one of the many iMacs I have also bought from apple - and pages is not showing up in my purchases list ?
Using the same apple id login as with the macbook pro.
Not overly impressed at this stage by the urgency to earn revenue, from a (nice) piece of software apple are bundling & giving for free with new apple products.

Sounds like you purchased iWork '09, that is no longer available from the App Store. The current version is Pages 5.2.2 and associated Numbers and Keynote.
You can download those free if you already have the previous versions installed. If that is not possible, explain your situation to the nearest Apple Store, if you have one, and see what they can arrange.
Otherwise Amazon is selling a boxed set of iWork '09 quite cheaply and that can be used to also get the latest version free, if that is what you want. The latest versions have a lot of features missing.

Add contact icon missing from my contacts.

I can't add new contact as there is no + icon in contacts. Problem started after I did iOS 5.0 update.
Can anyone help?

Check out this iPhone discussion regarding the missing + sign in the Contacts App. Hopefully one of these solutions will work for you. The iPhone app works the same was as the iPad app so this applies to the iPad as well.

Script to Add Reference Page Graphics from Frame

OK, I am ready to pull my hair out. I have looked high and low on the internet to find a place where I can view the RJ Jacquez segment about the script that lets you add images from your Frame reference pages to the RH styles for tip/note/warning/whatever. The only thing I can find is a twitter link, and I can't access twitter from work. PLEASE HELP!!

Why are pictures and pages missing from doc created in Pages 09 when I try to open it in the new Pages?

I created a large document earlier this year in Pages 09 ... over 100 pages and it has screen prints, pictures and text boxes ... when I try to open it in the new Pages 5.5.1, all of these pics, text boxes, etc, are missing!!! I can open it in the old Pages, and they are all there, but in the new Pages, half of my document is missing! I want to have it work in the new Pages because what if I upgrade to a new computer ... I will not have access to Pages 09 anymore! Plus, the "Page Layout" option is missing in Pages 5.5.1 - what was Apple thinking with this update? Please help!

Bean doesn't do layout and is no longer being developed.
MsOffice or LibreOffice [free] are alternatives but not at the moment 100% solutions.
MsOffice has most of the features in a clumsier fashion in most cases but is a bit of a kludge on the Mac.
LibreOffice has a rather rough user interface and still lacks Pages '09 features.
Really we are in Limbo until we get something else completely.
For office work, I suggest LibreOffice or NisusWriter. Just so you can still get at it in the future.
I have been warning about this inevitability for years. Hasn't made me popular.

Clone and Delete Missing from Advanced Actions Window

So, I was just chugging along using the new advanced actions feature in CP5. All of a sudden, I went into to clone one of my advanced actions and the clone and delete buttons are off the screen. I cannot resize the window so I cannot get to the clone feature. I called support and they used the cop out line that this is a file specific issue. He response was to post here or start over on my project. I am sure you can appreciate how unaccptable that response is for me after putting over 100 hours into the development of this project.
Any suggestions, ideas, or if anyone else has run into this would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks, understand now what happened and this is indeed an issue.
I'm always trying to respect one of my beloved rules for names "KISS" (Keep it small and simple). So I will immediately trim the 'Duplicate_' that is added for every 'clone' (do like your word) and make the name different from the original in another way. That will be the reason why I never bumped into your problem. You have to know that I did live once in a DOS-world where every name could only have max. 8 characters and probably I'm still stuck with some reflexes from that past.

Edit Links missing from site collection

I no longer have the ability to choose the "Edit Links" option on the site collection. I have seen the CSS to take it away. I do not have that in my CSS.

I've also experienced MilaJoe's issue as well. I have four web applications each with a root Site Collection based on the Enterprise Publishing template. All four of these site collections are missing the "Edit Links" option in the Quick Launch
and Global Navigation bar.
I'm a Farm Admin and also a Site Collection Admin to all of the sites in my environment. Here's what I have noticed:
Any top-level site collection that is NOT a root site has the "Edit Links" option enabled. Any site collection that is build off the managed path (i.e. webapp/sites/project1) works just fine.
Anything that is provisioned at the root site collection does NOT present the "Edit Links" functionality. This appears to be the case whether or not I start with a Team Site or Enterprise Publishing template. Activating site collection features
or site features has no affect on the the "Edit Links" functionality at the root.
Daniel, any chance you can confirm my theory?
NOTE: Site Owners can still manage navigation under site settings; however, I'd still like for Microsoft to confirm that enabling or disabling the SharePoint Server Publishing Infrastructure feature is what's supposed to control this behavior.

Anything missing from my Action Script?

I am trying to view a newsfeed - which works in a normal
browser - in my (MX 2004) movie.
I have this in my AS (2) panel:

and text is rendered as HTML but I am unable to see the news
feed.
I am using a server-side script to generate the feed and if I
click on this ASP file in a browser I get:

followed by the newsfeed itself.
The script ends as follows:

Do I need to be using anything else in my AS (such as
loadVariables("BBCfeed.asp", 0);?? and if not, what might
be the problem?

Restoring Lost OS X Files
If you erase or otherwise "lose" an OS X system application or utility (such as Mail or Disk Utility, for example) you can restore them without having to reinstall OS X.
Download the shareware utility Pacifist. Read the documentation. Use Pacifist to extract a fresh copy of the missing application from the file archives on your OS X Installer disc. The file archives are usually found on the installer disc in the /System/Installations/ folder.
After restoring the application you need to reinstall the OS X Combo Updater for the version of OS X you currently have installed. This assures the new copy of the application is updated to the current version.
Lastly, it's a good idea to repair permissions.

IPad 2 iOS 5 multiple pages missing from safari

I upgraded to the iOS 5 and now my safari web page doesn't have multiple pages unlike before that I can have 9 pages simultaneously and just switch from 1 to the next. Please help me fix this.

I thought that there was something that went wrong during my upgrading to the iOS 5, because I went ahead and used the iPad user guide and there with pictures it showed how the multiple pages should look like and mine just showed the tab/plus signs. With that said, I'm very disappointed with the new safari "upgrade". Again, Ty for the quick responses and informative answers.

Pages missing from converted file

Good morning or afternoon, I have been using Acrobat Standard 8 and haven't had a problem combining files until today. All files were successfull apparently but when it comes time to save I see files are actually not there in the view, nor when I print. But like I said, Acrobat tells me they were converted successfully.
Has anyone had this problem before and if so, what was done to fix this?

What version of Acrobat 8? What OS? What files are you trying to combine? What steps are you using to combine the files?

"Add Link" missing from Calendar after publishing sharepoint page

The "Add Link" is missing from Calendar when I publish the page. While in the edit mode, I can see the "Add Link" option. I also made sure I have the right view mode set for the calendar. I am using SharePoint 2013.

I assume you are adding calendar web part to a page.
Please click somewhere in the Calendar web part and check if Events/Calendar tab appears, and try to add new event. If you highlight one box in the calendar, could you see the +Add as below:
