Is possible to add this field as a characteristic? How can I do it?
Thanks in advance,

Jorge

Finally I got to add this characteristic in GLFUNCT table usin an append but when I execute the report the system is giving following mistake:
"Characteristic ZZGRACC cannot be combined with key figures"
Anybody knows which is the process that I've to follow to obtain this data on the report.

Please kindly advice how to create in new characteristics in report painter?
    Thanks.
p/s : profit center number is same with segment number
    regards,

    Hi,
"segment" is not a characteristic of classical profit-center accounting (libraries 8A*). Its a New GL characteristic, thus create a report painter report for New GL library.

    Hi,
add the new report to the report group (T-code GR52) where the 2 already existing reports belong to.
In report painter you don't execute a report but always a report group including one or more reports.

  • How to add new fields in report painter without library

    Hi,.
I have to add new fields in report painter(std one) which is not in any library and so I am not able to add the fields in characteristics. Though I have added zfields in CCR1S but I am not able to add these fileds in characteristics in report painter(say - CJe3 t-code)
    How to procedd for this.
    Thanks,
    MOhan

    hi,
first i copied the report 12KST1G in my Y12KST1G with form. In CJE2 when i Click this report then in the whatever fields coming in the characteristics we can put it in 'variables' tab and these will be the fields which is displayed on the selecton screen. So after doing the wbove changes in the exit , I am not able to get the fields in characteristics vale so that I can put it in variable. or do we have to do some chnages in the screen for this z report which is like std. one.
FYI..The display of the fields was done in z-report with library but this is like a report without library and we did some chnages in the exit.
    Pls Suggest

  • Report painter add characteristis to a librairy

    Hello
Like you know we can add some characteristics in report painter into a librairy.
With transaction GCRT, and OSS note 395894 - Numeric variables in reports, it seems that we can add characteristic into a librairy.
Until now I never saw an example to confirm the process to do it. Is it someone can provide one ?
    Thanks for all

  • Add Report painter report to Role Menu

    Hi
I want to add a a report painter report to existing role. In PFCG when I click on Report and select report writer radio button, system prompts me to select report group. When I select this option, system does not show all the reports available within this group so that I can select the one which I want to add and have system generate transaction code Y_DEV_99* for this report. How Can I add report painter report to a role have system generate trans code for it??

    Marthinsh,
I am aware that you can export/import or transport the reports in themselves - but not their names. In a way I never clearly understood, they are not attached to their names as such.
But then ...      we do agree, you can only authorise by group.

  • Including Second Local currency in Report Painter

    Hi there,
My client is using parallel currency and their LC2 is USD.  I am trying to create a Cost centre report using report painter and want to add LC2 amounts in this report.
Is it possible to add LC2 using report painter?
The following is some additional info:
    CO Area currency = SGD
    Op. Concern currency = SGD
Would appreciate if you could help me with this.  Thanks in advance.
    Regards
    RG

    Hi,
I think that it may not be possible. Hence the thread has not attracted much. The controlling reports are available either in Controlling area currency and object currency which is a company currency. Then there is no question of getting report in Local currency 2. You can try in ABAP report by having a selection of L2 currency and its translation ratio.
Trust this helps much in getting right solution!
    Cheers!

When i  tried to add  "Controlling Area currency"  in place of "Object Currency" characteristic, then from the available characteristics of the FORM/Report,   i am unable to find the  "Controlling Area urrency".
Please let me know  how to get this "Controlling Area currency" characteristic.
Note: This Report is intially developed in Report painter  So no ABAP code is present , So People who knows Report painter/Report Writer concepts with Currency translations can helpme out.
Please do the needful  as i am new to Report Painter please Give T-codes and any useful links regarding this Multiple Currency handling /Currency conversion concepts of Report Painter.

I am designing the P&L report and I want to split my R&D expenses split down by Internal Orders. Since, I have not seen Internal order field in summary table of new GL..ie., FAGFLEXT  table.
I want to know how this can be achieved in the same report in report painter.
I am talking this issue from Report Painter point of view where each report is based on library , which is defined per summary table.(ie., Library can refer to only one table....finding it odd to believe there is no join in reporting tool).....
Thanks and let me know if you want to know more on the issue I am facing.
