Add Customer Field while posting Journal Entry

BSEG-KUNNR is not exposed while posting journal entry using FB01. It is not available in the field status group also. How to add customer number field in the field status group to make it available during posting journal entry using FB01.

Hi Jac,
1, There is a known issue in a lower version before  2005A SP01 PL30when you try to run a retirement operation for a fixed asset with Net Price equal to the Net Book Value, it failed and you got the following error message:
21141 error while posting journalentry: -5012 /Unbalanced Transaction.
If you are in this scenario, please upgrade your Fixed Assest to the latest patch.
2. If you are not in above scenario, this problem is possibly caused by the incorrect configuration of accounts in G/L
Account Determination.
There should not be 'Default VAT Group' related to these accounts except for account 'Default Revenue Acc. Retirement' in G/L Account Determination.
1) Go to Administration - Setup - Fixed Assets - Open G/L Account Determination;
2) Select an Account Determination Group;
3) Under the G/L Account Determination window, open the account linked to 'Balance Sheet of Asset Acc.' by clicking on the yellow arrow;
3) The Chart of Accounts window will open, click on the'Account Details' button beneath the window to open G/L Account Details;
4) Empty the field 'Default VAT Code';
5) Execute the Retirement functionality again.
You can also refer to SAP Note 1050423 for reference. https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1050423
I hope it is helpful!

    Thanks in advance.

    Hello Muhd
    Please could you go in Administartion > Set Up > Fixed assets > GL
    Account Detemination and check the settings of  'Clearing Acc. Asset
    Acquisition' account, which is used when creating Journal Entry for
    'Acquisition without vendor'.
    Could you check if there is a 'Default VAT Code' assigned to this
    account. In this case could you to clear the Default VAT Code assigned
    to this account and try to do 'Acquisition without vendor' again?
    Also,please try to check below option to see if that could help:
    1)Check asset Class Land
    2)Check GL accounts settings
    3)Check the checkbox "Permit Other VAT Group"

  • Add Customized fields in FICA document

    Dear all,
    We are having a requirement in which we need  to add customized fields in FICA document and need to post them .Can anyone please tell me how to meet this requirement

    Edited by: susmitha harini on Aug 11, 2010 12:46 PM

    Hi Susmita
    You can add the fields to the customer includes
      CI_FKKOP
      CI_FKKKO
    To create/update the customer fields in automated processes you can use the standard SAP BAPI:
      BAPI_CTRACDOCUMENT_CREATE
      BAPI_CTRACDOCUMENT_CHANGE
    Check out the import table EXTENSIONIN with structure BAPIPAREX.
    To add the fields to the standard SAP transactions, have a look in IMG under
    Financial Accounting
      Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable
        Basic Functions
          Posting and Documents
            Document
              Screen Preparations

  • Add custom fields in EL09/EL35 transaction

    Hi,
    I need to add custom fileds in these transactions in order to specify particular client information I have to extract in the output of meter reading order.
    How can I accomplish this need?
    Do I need to define a custom transaction or do I have to implement some customizing-badi,... I didn't find anything useful in my researches.
    Can you help me please?
    Thanks,
    Gabriele

    Hi Gabriele,
    When we are generating meter reading orders, entries are made in tables EABL & EABLG. You can add custom fields in these tables using enhancement EDMMR001.
    Based on your rules / logic, you can update these custom fields from user exit - EXIT_SAPLEL01_010.
    Now, when you are downloading meter reading orders, you can access these values.
    Alternatively, if you can derive these additional values in run time, you can place your logic in Meter Read Order Download Print Workbench program.
    Hope this helps.

  • Add custom fields in a new tab in J1B3N

    Hi All,
    In the project we need to to add custom fields from custom table (z table) in an Additional Tab (header) of J1B3N transaction. How can we do it using user-exits or BADI's?
    I've looked for this requirement in the forum, but none of them related to J1B3N transaction.
    If someboby has developed something like that, I will be grateful for help.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Okuma,
    Did you tried what are the badis are triggering while you run this transaction,then you will get an idea .

  • Add Custom Fields in FB70?

    Is it possible to add custom fields in FB70 to capture extra data?
    We enter FI-A/R invoices in FB70 and would like to capture data in the custom fields of sales order (VA02) additional data B screen for reporting purposes.  (We do not use debit memo.)

    Hello,
    You can see the screen variants in FB70. However, these screen variants are for that particular session of posting. Once you come back, then you will have standard screen for posting in FB70.
    I would suggest not to change any forceful changes to FB70 screen to avoid any further complications in future upgrades.

  • How to add custom field to the task via CSOM?

    Hello!
    I'm trying to add custom fields to my programmatically created task in project 2013. Tasks are created. Then I get them and load custom fields by:
    DraftProject projCheckedOut = tstProj.CheckOut();
    projContext.Load(projCheckedOut.Tasks);
    projContext.ExecuteQuery();
    foreach (var task in projCheckedOut.Tasks)
    projContext.Load(task.CustomFields);
    projContext.ExecuteQuery();
    But the each CusomFieldCollection object has only 1 field (Health, because it have a default value and created automatically). But when I load my project in Project professional i saw more than 1 field, but they are empty.
    Then I tried to add a new custom field to each CusomFieldCollection of each task.
    var newField = new CustomFieldCreationInformation();
    newField.FieldType = CustomFieldType.TEXT;
    newField.Name = "F_1";
    newField.Description = "test description";
    task.CustomFields.Add(newField);
    task.CustomFields.Update();
    New field added to the collection, but when I update the project and publish it nothing is happened.
    How to add a custom field to the each task and set it value?
    Or how to attach enterprise task custom field to my tasks.
    I'm using Microsoft.ProjectServer.Client.

  • Add Custom Field not to all Incidents but in specific IR,SR template

    Hello, Dear Colleagues.
    With this manual:
    Adding a Custom Property to a Form – Support Group Property for Problem Form Example, I have added similarly custom field List Picker to Incident Form.
    But now this custom field is default field for all new incident. How can I add custom field just in specific incident request or service offering (for example, Printer Repair service offering for Self-Service portal).
    Thanks.
    Have a nice day.

    You're certainly on the right track, this comes down to TypeProjections -
    something you'll absolutely want to start getting familiar with. I was about to start typing a quick post when I found a related said post exists out on the interwebs (https://dynamicdatacenter.wordpress.com/2012/10/03/add-custom-service-request-forms-in-servicemanager2012/).
    So, you can do it manually or you can create a relationship and this XML gets built for you. It certainly makes it a bit easier in terms of XML hacking when you're getting started too (i.e. copying and pasting the relationships)
    That said, I built a version of your management pack including a relationship (Configuration Item -> Printers) so you can get back to building and spend less time troubleshooting some of these quirks. You can copy and paste the following to an XML file,
    seal it to make it an MP and then bundle to a MPB with the ServiceRequestForm dll.
    <ManagementPack ContentReadable="true" SchemaVersion="2.0" OriginalSchemaVersion="1.1" xmlns:xsd="http://www.w3.org/2001/XMLSchema" xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/1999/XSL/Transform">

  • Customize Approval Form to add custom fields using SharePoint Designer

    Hi,
    i have a created a Custom approval workflow using SharePoint Designer 2010. This is two steps approval WF, All i did put the variable "CancelonRejection" Value "Yes" and one Approval action with 2 different users as Serial. Right now
    Status, Requested by, Consolidated comments and comment fields are available on the approval form. Now i want to add some fields with radio buttons on Approval Form, so that 1st approver can select those radio/check box. Once 1st approver will approved this
    then display all the values on 2nd approver approval from or send email to 2nd approver along with all the information from 1st approver.
    Thanks in advanced!

    Hi,
    According to your post, my understanding is that you wanted to customize Approval Form to add custom fields using SharePoint Designer.
    In the SharePoint Designer, you can customize the task form.
    Here is a great article for your reference:
    Creating Custom Workflow Task Approval Forms with SharePoint Designer 2010
    However, every task can only have one task form.
    That is to say, the two approvors will have the same task form.
    As a workaround, I recommend to customzie the task form using InfoPath.
    You can create different view for the approvors.
    You need to add form load rules to swich views based on the approvors.
    More information:

  • Add Custom fields in Report Incident Screen in EHSM

    Hello experts,
    I want to add custom fields like Notification No. and division in Report Incident screen in EHSM.
    I have added two fields.
    Business Object: EHHSS_INCIDENT
    Node: BASIC_INFO_ALL
    Structure: INCL_EEW_EHHSS_INC_BINFA_D (added two fields using append structure)
    Now how can i link with my screen and how to fetch notification data (standard F4 help)?
    and when i save data, where it will save?
    Can you guide me with proper steps for it as i am new in it.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Jayvin,
    To add the above fields on the screen, open the component configuration of the required screen.
    Enhance the same and add the fields from the respective Node.
    You did not worry about saving the data, once the fields are placed on the screen it will get save on click of save/ on event of save.
    Regards,
    Sanket.
