Add inspection characteristics to production order created via CO07

Hi, all.
We're creating production orders to perform production rework on assemblies using transaction CO07.
We have a requirement to inspect and make a usage decision on the reworked assembly.
Since there is no material at the header level for CO07 orders, the system isn't allowing us to do an inspection because it has no material master QA view to reference.  Although the control key is marked for in-process inspection, the production order still won't allow it.
I can't add "unplanned inspection characteristics", not can I manually create an inspection lot using QA01.
Is there a way to manually force in an inspection for an operation on a CO07 order?
Thanks.
Sarah

Hi,
We cannot do a inspection for a production order unless it has material assigned to it and the material got QM inspection type relevant to that.

  • Function Module Production order created via Variant Configuration conditio

    Hi,
I am looking for a function module which can provide me with the following information.
the component selected in  a production order and the corresponding VC condition which forced this selection in the production order.
    Any help appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Hello ,
There is no proper FM or BAPI that can do the way it is used that all the components are first selected buy FM get_stpo and then configured via FM cubx_configure_object or CUBX_CONFIGURE_STPOB. The ones that fulfill the condition gets deleted. For the Selection condition you can look at table STPO-KNOBJ.
Generally for configuration you should use FM vc_get_configuration_ibase..
Also for SO FM CUKO_ddb_has_components reads from the database but you can check if it can work for PO
    Thanks

    Dear all,
I have a production order , for example, for 12 pieces / serial number . Material is produced in lot , in this case 3 lot of 4 pieces.
Pieces in a lot are linked toghether in a grap.
Production order create an inspection lot where I can store quality data for every pieces / serial number.
    I need to store quality data at lot level ( for example the grap weight );
    Is it possible ?

Can you not create Char/MIC like weight & attach the task list to the inspection lot?

  • Production order created through procurement wizard but purchase order connected in SO

    SBO Localization: Korea
    SBO Version:SAP Business One 8.82 (8.82.073) PL: 10
Production order created through procurement confirmation wizard on the base of sales order. In sales order "Procurement document" field production order number showing correct. But if click on document arrow then same number of purchase order opening where as we expect that production order should open. This is something like connection bug. This happens only if sales order approval workflow is active. In relationship map we can see production order is connected. See details in attached pic.
I have also tested this case in Belgium localization the result is almost same. The difference is only if clicked on procurement document number arrow (from sales order document) then different number of purchase order opens.
Is this known issue? Could someone please provide me the solution?

  • Which user exit can be use before production order creating?

which user exit can be use before production order creating?
i want to check AFPO data, then show error message before production order creating.
1.i try to use PPCO0001( enhancement when saving the order) to check AFPO data, then show some error message, sap system will generate a abap down error.
2.i try to use PPCO0007(Exit when saving production order),
    i can show error message,but i can't check AFPO's data.

    Hi,
You can access AFPOD structure using field symbols.
Try below mentioned code in routing:
    constants: c_afpod TYPE char30 VALUE '(SAPLCOKO1)AFPOD' .
    FIELD-SYMBOLS: <fs_afpod> TYPE ANY .
    data: wa_afpod TYPE afpod.
    ASSIGN (c_afpod) TO <fs_afpod>.
    wa_afpod = <fs_afpod>.
Then later you can use wa_afpod in exit PPCO0007. Hope this will work for you.

  • How production order create in MTS scenario

    hi
Actually production order created based on Sales order, through MRP run(md02,04) , it will check the stock(avilability control), if it has less stock than sales it create the production order.
Based on demand planning , we want to start the production ,so how production order created, we need to create directly CO01, OR  any process is there
    plz reply

Actually production order created based on Sales order, through MRP run(md02,04) , it will check the stock(avilability control), if it has less stock than sales it create the production order.
I feel this is existing process of your client
Based on demand planning , we want to start the production ,so how production order created, we need to create directly CO01, OR  any process is there
    1) If you want to consider both MTS and sale order in production then maintain strategy group 40 in MRP 3 view
    2) Create a PIR ( plan) in MD61
    3) Run a MRP in MD02/MD01
    4) As a result of MRP, you will get a plan order
    5) convert the plan order into production order in MD04

  • Inspection lot with Production Order

    Hi friends,
I am PP consultant and need some help in setting up a scanario of Production order with inspection lot.
I need to setup a scenario where a inpspection lot is created from production order manually (not at the time of release). The purpose is to post few quantity of production order to scrap storage location. Inspection lot needs to be created only in certain production orders where some of the quantity has to be declared as scrap and that needs to be rejected with usage decision.
can any one please suggest the overview of such scenario.
    Regards,
    Rohit

    Dear Rohit,
You want to create a manual inspection lot only for the purpose of Scrapping and also want it to be done with Usage Decision.
You can not use inspection type 89, as it is not stock relevant (Inspection type for Miscellaneous inspection),
There is one another solution with inspection type 08( inspection for Material Movement), but it might look Lengthy.
    1. Release a Production order. say 100 qty.
    2. If during process, 10 is scrap, then perform Partial Confirmation of 10 Qty.;  Stock will be in Unrestricted.
    3. Now, through MB1B, transfer 10 qty from Unrestricted to QI.
    4. As you have inspection type 08 active, System will create an Inspection lot for 10 Qty.
    5. You can post this whole 10 qty to Scrap while giving Usage Decision.
I think, in your process, Scrapping is not done frequently, that is why you do not want inspection lot at every production order.
in that case this solution may solve your problem.
    regards,
    Amol

  • Inspection Lot on Production Orders using HU

    Hi Experts:
I'm trying to notify using production orders some HU. I was reading the help.sap.com and it says:
    1. An inspection lot is never created, if the indicator Inspection for HU is not set in the Inspection setup of the material master (Quality Management view) for storage locations requiring HUs.
    2. In general, it is not possible to create the inspection lot at goods receipt in storage locations requiring HUs.
    That's confuse me.
In the system I have the following information:
    a. Create my order and release.
    b. My material have inspection 04. I marked the indicator Inspection for HU on Quality Management view.
    c. I used Tx COP1 to create my HU
    d. I notify my production using COWBHUWE
If I checked my MMBE the quantity is on Quality Status. But I don't have my inspection Lot.
I create my Inspection plan with indicator 5.
Someboday can tell me why the inspection lot isn't create?
    I checked the configuration:
In Customizing for Handling Unit Management (Inventory Management), the respective movement type is not deactivated for quality inspections. The indicator QM not active is not set.
In the (respective) material master record, the corresponding inspection type is created and activated for the respective goods movement, and the indicator Inspection for HU must be set.
    Thxks

Sorry firefighter I'm going to explain more in detail.
    1. I tested my integration process QM-PP-HU on a Storage Location without HU.
    The results were:
    a. Hu created
    b. Inspection Lot Created
But when I did the DE the units from the HU were moved, but the HU still in Q status.
    So I changed my test.
    2. I tested my integration process QM-PP-HU on a Storage Location with HU
    The results were:
    a. Hu created
    b. Inspection Lot Not Created
In this case, I marked on Material Master the HU Indicador on 04 Class (Quality Management View)
    That's my problem.
Addittional I tested a MM-HU process using 01 Inspection Class.
    1. I create a Purchase Order Me21N to a Storage Location with HU
    2. I create the Delivery using HU
    3. The system create the Inspection Lot and made the DE (reference to the HU)
My problem is stilling the PP-QM-Hu on Storage Location with HU

  • Issues to Production Orders created from Sales Order

We have multiline Sales Orders that create a Production order for each sales order line (can be up to 70 or 80 per SO). We normally backflush these via multiple MB1A transactions after the SO has been completed. It is a lot of work doing the required issues to reduce stock levels and consequently they are always "late" being done and the stock is always out of date until the movements (type 261) are processed - generally monthly!!
As a result, an Access Database has been created that reduces stock in that by entering the SO number and this is used for Stock enquiries. I would like to get rid of this Access database so as I'm sure other people have hit this same problem, is there a way of doing the same in SAP i.e. enter SO number and then relevant stocks are reduced accordingly.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks in advance
    Jim

    Hi,
I am not clear why you are manually doing the process? When the production order is confirmed for each operation (CO11) the goods movement should be posted then, backflush selected in work centre or in the production order.
Any failures can be processed via COGI rather than a database.
    Thanks.

  • IDOC TO FILE ( PRODUCTION ORDER CREATED IN R/3 (LOIPRO01 Idoc) IS SENT 2 XI

PLS...I NEED SOLUTION AS SOON AS POSSIBLE
When a production order is created and is  released in R/3,the idoc
(LOIPRO01 Idoc) should be passed (sent) to xi system and mapped into a file using FILEADAPTER.
         Source :   SAP ERP ( LOIPRO01 Idoc)
         Target  :    file.
<b>MY Question is How to Capture that Idoc,..i mean how to push that Idoc(LOIPRO01 Idoc) from R/3 System to Our XI System ? .</b>
TCODE for Production Order Creation :- co01

    Hi All,
For this requirement IDOC's are not used.Bapi is used.
The BAPI ‘BAPI_DELIVERYPROCESSING_EXEC’ will be enhanced to add the new fields into the BAPI structure.
The BADI ‘/SPE/BAPI_DLVEXEC_EX’ and the user exit ‘EXIT_SAPLV50R_CREA_001’ will be used to populate the data into the new fields created in the BAPI structure and the new fields added into the tables LIKP and LIPS.

  • Idoc creation on production order create and save

I need to know if there is a way to create an idoc on the change and save of a production order.  We will need to base this on plants (not all plants get an idoc).  Is there any "safe" way to do this automatically?  We previous had a system in place that used the user exit of a production order save but it no longer works.
    Regards,
    Davis

It's not an error as such.  The program is doing exactly what it has been told to do.
If you go to SE38, and look at ZXCO1U06, you'll find that there is a statement "BREAK-POINT".  This is hard-coded way of opening the debugger.
Your best approach is to find the developer responsible for doing this, and ask them to change it.  If this is happening outside of development system - perhaps in test or production, then perhaps
    a) The programmer needs to be disciplined shot
    b) The development team need to introduce some review procedure of ALL coding, before transport.
