Add oraForms librairy to Oracle jdev 10.1.3.3 and build forum

Hi,
I have to build a forum using oracle jdev 10.1.3.3 and oracle database using soa architecture, that's why i wouldlike to add oraForms librairy to my oracle jdev, i would like lso to get some tutorials andsample in order to build my forum.

Hi,
libraries can be added on the project level. Open the project properties (context menu) and choose the library node. I am afraid, but I don' think there is a tutorial that explains end-to-end what is your development assignment

There are couples of web services provided by oracle for this purpose, by using that you can insert, update, query, delete records in CRM OnDemand.
So you need to write the web service client program which takes data from your web form and create record in OnDemand. It can be in any language / platform (like java, c++, PHP etc)

The much awaited Oracle Jdev 10g with OAExt for Release 12 is now available on metalink through patch 5856648. Note : This jdev build will only work with the Oracle Apps Release 12 env and should not be used against a 11.5.10 env.

JDev 10.1.3.3 and WebCenter - Error running WSRP Standalone Portlet

Hello: I am working with JDev 10.1.3.3 w/ the WebCenter extension on my WinXP PC. I have viewed the WebCenter How-To Demos (http://www.oracle.com/products/middleware/webcenter.html) and am replicating them in JDev. All is working except for the last in the Veeva Vacation demos (Building & Deploying Standards-Based Portlets). I followed the demo and successfully (so I thought) created an entry point, deployed the standalone portlet and registered the portlet producer. I dragged the VeevaProducer to the JSF page. Then with my Preconfigured OC4J running I tried to run the jspx page. Instead of seeing the application page, an error page appeared "Error instantiating web-application".
The first error description is:

You can create EAR/WAR file from JDeveloper and then use the OC4J 10.1.2 managment console to deploy them to the server, there is no one-click-deploy support from JDev 10.1.3 to OC4J stand-alone 10.1.2

Oracle Enterprise Manager Agent deployment (Installation and Configuration) Error

Hello,
I am trying to create an agent on a linux server using Oracle Enterprise Manager 12.1.0.3. The user is created with root privilege on the server, by change /etc/sudoers entry username the same as the root entry. After that I tried to add host target by clicking Setup->Add Target->Add target Manually->Add Host Targets in the Oracle Enterprise Manager.
In the Add Target view: I clicked on add, then I entry host and platform information. After that I click next. Then I provided the Linux x86-64 : Installation Details for
Installation Base Directory, Instance Directory, Name Credential ... then click next. then click Deploy Agent.
In the Add Host Status view: stages Initialization and Remote Prerequisite Check successfully passed, but in the stage Agent Deployment, it failed in the Installation and Configuration phrase of the Agent Deployment stage.
The log content is shown below. There are numerous SEVERE Errors. But I don't have much experience in dealing with these type of problems. I thank you in advance for all the helps.

Share the output of the command. I am suspecting this is a know issue (Bug 17300008) but i will wait for your output. Also if you can open an SR with oracle support to track this issue and its resolution. "

On Enterprise Manager server [nsn175-105], we did the following:
1. we modified /etc/exports to include this line: /export *(rw,no_root_squash,sync)
we start nfs service by executing command “service nfs start”.
On Management Agent server (nsn175-89), we verified that we are able to mount /export directory of EM server.
On Management Agent server, we started firefox browser and were able to run successfully https://nsn175-105.us.oracle.com:4904/empbs/genwallet
After making this change, we ran agent deployment again. We encountered the same error as shown above.
“You can fix the software library or you can download the agent bits in offline mode.”
For fixing the software library, select Setup->Provision and Patching->Offline Patching, then select Offline Patching radio button, download: https://updates.oracle.com/download/em_catalog.zip. Next upload this zip file.

We are not sure what agent bits are. Would you please explain this and provide procedure how we can download this?

I use ODP.NET and version 4.1 of the Enterprise Library, vs 2008. And all is OK.
Now, migrate using ODP.NET Oracle.DataAccess 4.112.2.0 and version 5.0.414.0 of the Enterprise Library, vs 2010, .net 4.0.
Following a recent upgrade from version 4.1 to 5.0 of the Enterprise Library, once we get the following error:
"The type Database cannot be constructed. You must configure the container to supply this value."

Oracle WebLogic Integration's Custom Control and SOA Suite Spring Component
tutorial from

- Fig. 6 doesn't agree with what's just above. This step isn't necessary because it can be create automatically when you make a class.
- Fig. 11 shows the package
sample.oracle.otn.soaessentials.javainteg
and the class should be placed in
sample.oracle.otn.soaessentials.javainteg.impl
- The Business Tier -> Spring 2.5 might not be available. Extensions steps steps should be given.
- Fig. 15 When lgger-context is created in Jdev 11.1.1.3.0 the Spring context is created in
/mywork/SOASuiteWLIEssentials/JavaIntegration/src/META-INF
while in the sample project it is in
/mywork/SOASuiteWLIEssentials/JavaIntegration
- Fig 18 has incorrect class name.
- Fig 19 is incorrect: there is no Spring 2.5 SCA in Jdev 11.1.1.3.0; there is only WebLogic SCA. Where is the canvas mentioned above?
- Fig 28 logger-context.xml is not where it is displayed in the fig. It is /src/Meta-Inf/.
- Most of the fig from the deployment are not up to date.
- I don't understand the need for the portion:
"Implementing the use case in WLI" up to
"Implementing the use case in SOA Suite"
It confused me when I tried to follow the tutorial.

I am also looking for the same .... Please share the CLoning script for SOA Suite from Prod to staging Env...

When loading my online banking it says untrusted connection but when I try to add exception it says the site has a valid certificate and exception is not required, but still wont connect

Try to rename the file cert8.db to cert8.db.old in the Firefox Profile Folder to remove all intermediate certificates that Firefox has stored by visiting secure websites.<br />
If that helped to solve the problem then you can remove the renamed file cert8.db.old unless you have user certificates that you may want to export first and import them in the new file.<br />
Otherwise you can restore the certificates by renaming (copying) the file back to cert8.db<br />
Firefox will automatically store new intermediate certificates when you visit websites that send them.<br />
You can use this button to go to the Firefox profile folder:
*Help > Troubleshooting Information > Profile Directory: Open Containing Folder

this does not help. I have forgotten ALL of the answers to my security questions. I can NOT reset the answers to my security questions without answering two of the three security questions. The other way to reset the answers to these questions is for apple to send me an email on my rescue email addres which I DO NOT HAVE.

Can anyone tell me why my collusion .27 add-on stopped working when I updated to firefox 20 (and now 21?). I've tried removing and reinstalling to no avail. I even deleted my profile files and had firefox repopulate those automatically to no avail. And it's not the only add-on to have stopped working.

From your statements above, it sounds like you never tried to burn a CD for at least the first year that you owned the laptop, as it had a one year warranty on it. While you might have used it frequently to install software, play DVDs, Blu-Ray disks, etc, that's unclear from your statements. Nonetheless, it might just be dirty-dusty. So, before deleting-uninstalling any software, and given they're cheap, try a CD-DVD Cleaner Disk first and see if that resolves your problems.
