Add PHP Editor to Homesite?

I have installed & set up Homesite and want to edit and
debug PHP templates/pages. PHP is running fine- I can browse a PHP
page and the script is color-coded- however, I do not have a PHP
tool bar option.
I downloaded software that was supposed to add a PHP editor,
and it installed a file named ExpressionElements.vtm in the
Homesite Extensions folder. Still no editor shows up.
Any advice?

Thanks for link you provided.
I am able to add Column with CommandImageLink.And onclick of that link i am able to display another popup.
Now another problem which i am facing is when i select one row from popup and click "Ok" i have to modify some columns from Dyanamic table which is displayed on main page.
For this.
1)First i took the selected row from dyanamic table to update that perticular row depending upon the row which i select from popup.
if you see the code above i am refaring the list as collection for data.So i am updating that collection but again it is refreshing to it's original value.
because number of times getList() method of bean get's called equal to number of columns. which brings the values from database.
Here On click of popup's Ok button I don't want to save the data for table i just want to show there in some column's .and After click on SAVE button from table i have to save it.
Let me help how can i modify the Dynamic table's data.

Not getting email on MAcBook Pro, but receiving on iPhone. Getting message "Warning Recent errors logged" It repeatedly states "The Header From: address postoffice is not authorised - please go to control add PHP" But I only have 1 email address.

I am suddenly not getting email on my MacBook Pro, but am receiving e-mail on my iPhone. I'm getting message "Warning Recent errors logged" It repeatedly states "The Header From: address <postoffice> is not authorised - please go to control add PHP" But I only have 1 email address. I'm afraid to add anything on since I don't even know what this other e-mail address is. What should I do? And would this definitely be the cause of my not receiving e-mail?

How do I add PHP Script to an XHTML Page?

I am tring to add a PHP script to my XTHML page in Dream
Weaver. The tag starts <?php and ends ?>. I have uploaded the
script on to another site which I use for testing and it shows the
whole code not the intended presentation. I did read that the
server should support PHP scripts..I have been trying to research
it online however I have had no luck.
I have also tried publishing it to a local folder and it
still didn't work. I am really lost!!!
I am very new to building websites in dreamweaver so laymens
terms would be great!!

But nothing is showing in page edit mode.

Doesn't it come with instructions?
Why not post this on WebChat's support forums? It's not

Generic javascript error when trying to add PHP Update behavior

When I try to add an Update behavior (PHP) from DW CS5, I get this popup error and I have no idea what it means!
While executing applyServerBehavior in UpdateRecord.htm, a JavaScript error occurred.

At this point there are only 2 other solutions to try because that is the only KB article related to JS errors and cleaning out those user configs usually does the trick.
1. Your OS profile has become corrupt somewhere. Create a new profile on your computer and try running the same operation on DW. If this works you will need to move over your other user settings from applications, but do not move over all user data as you may bring the corrupted file(s) with you.
2. Run the Cleaner: Click on Help->De-Activate in any Adobe program to deactivate the software. Run the Clean Script: http://www.adobe.com/support/contact/cscleanertool.html and then re-install.

HTML PHP editor

What's a good html php text editor? TextEdit has trouble opening files with those extensions.

If you're just looking to make a few quick changes to a couple files and don't want to buy software, TextEdit can work. Open the TextEdit application, go to the preferences, select the "Open and Save" pane, and then check the item "Ignore rich text commands in HTML files". Close the preferencs dialog.
This will basically tell TextEdit to diplay the source code/markup in HTML files, but for some reason I can't seem to get this preference to stick from one session to the next. So without closing the TextEdit application, open the HTML or PHP file you wish to edit by right-clicking or control-clicking on the file and choosing "Open With > TextEdit".
If you're looking for features, the previous poster is correct that BBEdit is the industry standard for hand-coding websites on Macs.

Add RDS server in HomeSite

Had to reinstall MX7 suite and forgot how to set up RDS
server in homesite so i can view my dBs.
my dbs are internal (testbed) so have no username or
password.
also trying to connect, created several listings... can i
delete these??

When you are in the Developer Mappings area the first tab is
Debug Start and has a drop down for RDS server and there is an
option to add one. Add a new one and once you are done you will be
able to browse tables.
You can also add one from the Files resource window with the
drop down list of your file system. There is a selection in there
for RDS. This will bring up the RDS sites navigator where you can
delete or add RDS entries.

Show Browser below Editor in HomeSite+ 5.5

Hi,
I'm a new fan of homesite, but there's a small problem for me when using HomeSite+. That is the button "show Browser below editor" does not work in homesite+, although it works well in the trial version of HomeSite 5.5
I just wonder anyone here know how to fix the problem, 'cos i need this feature a lot : )

i have a coldfusion msSQL server as my testbed and would like the ability to do some wordpress (ugh!)

Not sure how familiar you are with managing OS X Server and the command line...
OS X Server does not directly implement a file drop-box mechanism as part of the package, though you can get there with what's provided.
It is possible to set up password-protected WebDAV folders, as one option using what is available in OS X Server. There's no GUI for setting that up, though. The command-line configuration steps are discussed in the 10.6 Web Services Technologies manual, and there are some support articles around, such as HT5374.
Setting up the sftp server is a different approach and is fairly easy, if you want to go that route. Give the folks a login on the server, and give them a certificate (or a password login), and they can then access their directory (either via the certificate or the password) to upload or download files. The remote clients would be using FileZilla or Cyberduck, or command-line sftp.
If you don't want to expose your server to remote attackers — the same path folks download and upload files is a likely path for remote attacks — a NAS box (preferably in a DMZ in your network) might provide you with what you want.
I haven't encountered an ftp-based dropbox implementation for OS X Server. (Full disclosure: I'm not a fan of ftp, not the least of which because of its incompatibilities with firewalls, and its use of cleartext for the user's access credentials.)
Various content-management systems likely offer this capability, either directly or via add-on modules.

How to add an editor like frontpage into jdeveloper 9i

I've integrated frontpage in JDeveloper release 3.2 with
the configuration in tools.cfg file, but in 9i I dont find
any such file and also dont find any option in preferences.
