Add Row in a SAPUI5 Table using xmlModel

Hi, experts,
I want to add a new row in a table using a button.
My table was loaded by xmlModel and now i want to add a new row using a toolbar buton. I dont know how i can do it with xmlModel. I Saw some examples with JsonModel.
Anybody can help me?

Hi Raman,
Option to add/delete row is available in studio. You can double click and select any particular cell and right click to see the 'Table' options.
It is a little tricky to get it correct in versions prior to 12.0. Consider saving the changes each time.

add a transient attribute to the POJO entity and update this through a check box. The ensure you have autosubmit=true set on the check box. In a value change listener set or remove the row's checbox attribute value

Field_1 is a Date field, Field_2 is a String, and Field_3 is an integer.
Any of the fields could be null. If the user does not enter a value for any
one of these fields what would be the values for
Value_1, Value_2, or Value3 in the Query_String?

You can try this one. I created this static table just for viewing purpose.
Open Create View Object wizard
Choose, “Rows populated programmatically, not based on a query” which is 3rd radio button option
In Attribute tab, create some ‘Updatable’ Attributes
Choose the AppModule in the final step.
Drag and drop the view object as ADF table.
Next, programmatically insert data in your backing bean.
        ApplicationModule applicationModule = this.getApplicationModuleForDataControl("TmpTableAppModuleDataControl");
        ViewObject vo = applicationModule.findViewObject("ProgViewObj1");
        Row newRow = vo.createRow();

I am using ADF table(Jdeveloper11g) and i want to selecte multiple rows it may be more than one OR all rows.
For that i added one Column to the table with Header Delete and checkbox

Problem is that when i select single row checkBox, onCheck() method of backing bean gets called multiple times(equals to the number of rows)
I think this is beacuse of <af:selectBooleanCheckbox id is same that is "checkbox" but i am not sure.Even i tried to assign some unique id but no any success in assigning Id with value Expression.

From the simillar post i follow the steps given by Frank.but problem with below step
->have an af:clientAttribute assigned to the checkbox with the following EL #{row.key} ,here I added <af:clientAttribute name="#{row.key}"></af:clientAttribute> and i am getting error
Error(64,37): Static attribute must be a String literal, its illegal to specify an expression.
Please let me know if any one had already implemented same test case.

I am able to delete the row with out popup but when i used the popup that time deletion is not happening.

I have an Interface with source as src and target as tgt both has company_code column.In the Interface i need like if a record with company_code already exists we need to delete it and insert the new one from the src and if it is not availble we need to insert it.

I'll give you an example from what im working on currently.
We have an ODS, some 400+ tables. Some are needed 'Real-Time' so we are using CDC. Some are OK to be batch loaded overnight.
CDC captures the Deletes no problem so the standard knowledge modules with a little tweaking for performance are doing the job fine, it handles deletes.
The overnight batch process however cannot track a delete as its phyiscally gone by the time we run the scenarios, so we load all the insert/updates using a last modified date before we pull all the PK's from the source and delete them using a NOT EXISTS looking back at the collection (staging) table. We had to write our own KM for that.
All im saying to the OP is that whilst you have Insert / Update flags to set on the target datastore to influence the API code, there is nothing stopping you extending this logic with the UD flags if you wish and writing your own routines with what to do with the deletes - It all depends on how efficient you can identify rows that have been deleted.

A simple workaround could be to create field P0_SYSDATE, calculated to TO_CHAR(SYSDATE,:F_DATE_FORMAT), then apply
dateBooked.value = $v('P0_SYSDATE');but I'm trying to improve my understanding of javascript/jQuery...

So are you saying that return_date is an actual javascript function that returns the formated string/date you want?
If so, then I think you simply need parenthesis to run the function:
dateBooked.value = return_date();Or... am I missing something here?

How to find a dependent row in the all tables using single SQL query

hi all,
I have created some table with master and some dependent tables.I want to mark a (row)tuple as inactive in master so that corresponding child records also should be marked as inactive.
So i decided to mark the master and dependent records as inactive starting from master table and traverse to child tables.
So I need SQL query to fetch all dependend records to the row(marked row in the master ) from the master table and dependent rows from the child row and to mark as flag inactive.
can anybody help me out to build this query or any other way to mark flag as inactive ?

You can find dependant tables from ALL_CONSTRAINTS, e.g:

AFAIK the word "tuple" is for mathematics and relational theory, and does not refer to a physical row in a database.

PDF isn't a word processor like file format -- so, a "rebuild edit" to a table is a "You Don't".
As to form fields, Acrobat provides one with the ability to edit Acrobat form fields (if the form / file is not protected).
But, changing a grant form is likely to result in its being rejected by the originating organization.
Basically, you want to speak with the organization that you will submit the form to.
It may well be that you are trying to put 2 tons in the 1 ton pickup (less might be ok & actually expected).
Or, it may be that, unknown to the organization, the PDF form is hosed.
If so, communicating with the organization may well be a good thing.

For Statement on a table using add.instances - need help

I made this table in an acrobat form.   The table uses java script to add rows .   The code I used is:
_detail.addInstance(1);
There are two fields on this table that I want to evaluate 1) an index named index1
and 2) the value named numAmount
The script I am using to evaluate these to fields is as follows:
if (form1.Page1.Subform1.Capital1.Capital1.detail.index1.rawValue ==2)
    then
    $.rawValue = form1.Page1.Subform1.Capital1.Capital1.detail.index1.numAmount.rawValue
    endif
My problem is that I need to nest this if statement inside some kind of a loop.    I want the program to look at my table, determine how many instances the user has added, scroll through the table and look at index1, if index 1 = 2 then i want it to return the value in numAmount.
I just can't get the syntax to work in either form calc or javascript.
I am trying to write this code using the calculate method on a fourth field located on form1.#subform[2].Table5.Row5.NumericField1
I have attached the file if it helps.   The table is on page one of the form and the display field is on page three.
Any help would be much appreciated!!!

Inserting Multiple Rows into Database Table using JDBC Adapter - Efficiency

I need to insert multiple rows into a database table using the JDBC adapter (receiver).
I understand the traditional way of repeating the statement multiple times, each having its <access> element. However, I am just wondering whether this might be performance-inefficient, as it might insert records one by one.
Is there a way to ensure that the records are inserted into the table as a block, rather than record-by-record?

If we have multiple ACCESS tags then what happens is that the connection to the database is made only once. But the data is inserted row by row.
Why i am saying this?
If we add the following in JDBC Adapter..logSQLStatement = true. Then incase of multiple inserts we can see that there are multiple
Insert into tablename(EMP_NAME,EMP_ID) VALUES('J','1000')
Insert into tablename(EMP_NAME,EMP_ID) VALUES('J','2000')
Doesnt this mean that rows are inserted one by one?
Correct me if i am wrong.
This does not mean that the transaction is not guaranted. Either all the rows will be inserted or rolled back.

How do I add more than one column to a table using SQL?

I need to add 3 columns to a table using SQL
the syntax
"ALTER TABLE TEST ADD COLUMN newcol1 float";
works fine - for adding one coumn only.
For multiple columns I tried various permutations along the lines of
"ALTER TABLE TEST ADD (COLUMN newcol01 float, COLUMN new2 float,COLUMN new3 float)";
"ALTER TABLE TIPSTEST ADD COLUMN new1 float"
"ALTER TABLE TIPSTEST ADD COLUMN new2 float"
"ALTER TABLE TIPSTEST ADD COLUMN new3 float"
etc., but this doesn't work.
From a web search it sounds like SQL can only add one column at a time.
I have a workaround : create intermediate temporary tables , copying data and adding
one column at each stage. It seems a fairly awkward way of programming though.
Am I missing something simple : is there a way to add multiple columns in one go?

OK : solved an underlying problem with this one myself
for the code

a_Globals.database1Connection.close();
Allowed the subsequent SQL statement(s) to work OK. Looks like this was the cause of several
difficulties, preventing me doing several SQL instructions in turn.

Can't delete newly added row in inner advanced table

Hi!
Im using advanced in advanced table and i can't delete a row after i added in detail table, i have to refresh the page in order to delete the row.
This is what i do.
execute query from master table
expand row in master table
click Add row button in detail table(standard button in footer)
add data in columns
click save button
select row with multiselect and then click delete button but nothing's happend i just can delete older rows
also i can't edit the new row just older rows.
i think that is something wrong with the cache :S
any ideas?
