Add user comments AXF TaskList

Is there a way to add user comments to the AXF TaskList webtool? Currently the comments are sitting on the TaskViewer within the webtool. However this requires users to actually view a task on the Task List in order to access the Task Viewer which contain the comments at the bottom of the page. Is there a way to integrate the comments into a column that would be paired with the comments corresponding Task Number. I know in 11G this can be done easily. My company however is using 10G. I am trying to do this without modifying the BPEL Processes, I want to try and do it by modifying the JSP and Java files that make up the Task List.

If you want to comment on Yosemite, go to the App Store and select the Yosemite link which is likely still in the Top Free list.
You can then leave feedback there that everyone can read.

  • How to get user profiles and tasklists in axf

    Hi,
We have configured the the views in the BPM Worklist ,restart all the managed servers like SOA Server,IPM Server and UCM Server.
After that navigate to url-http://ipm:16000/imaging/faces/Driver.jspx to configure command driver input parameter settings-like SolutionNamespace
    CommandNamespace     and provide the username.
After clicking on Execute request it generates the conversation id but when we clicked on Execute Response button the AXF Task lists and user profile fields are empty.
can anybody suggest the way to get user profiles and axf tasklist?

Assign proper groups and/or users to BPM view created.
In IPM login and logout for that user. It will start appearing.

  • How to create an interactive magazine with user comments and voting system?

I need to create an interactive magazine that includes user comments and votes (like/unlike).
I know that I can create digital swf magazines in indesign and that user comments and like/unlike buttons can be entered with coding in adobe dreamweaver.
I need this for a school project and I do not know if it's possible or if there is another way of doing it in dreamweaver...
    Thanks

The easiest way to do like/unlike voting is use facebook´s like/unlike button generator at http://developers.facebook.com/docs/reference/plugins/like/ to create a code. You can set up the appearance and some features of your button and you will end up having an iFrame code. You can add that code into your html-wrapper file with some regular texteditor like wordPad....
Here´s one example, it´s an InDesign SWF finalized with eDocker but I don´t see any reason why you couldn´t use the SWF exported directly from InDesign as well. If you want to put it to some specific location, you have to wrap it up into a div and set up some css for that div, but it´s not a rocket science either.....=)

  • Exchange Connector 3.0 RTM - Wrong action log type (user comments are sometimes analyst comments)

    Hi,
We started using Service Manager a few days ago and I'm noticing some strange behavior from the Exchange connector. Sometimes when a user replies to an e-mail, it get's added as an "Analyst comment", also the private checkbox has a dot in it (not
blank or checked, but a dot..)
In this screenshot user "Marwan" is a regular user, replying to us via email...
    Any ideas?

Today there already is intelligence that checks if the recipient == affected user. I am merely suggesting to rewise and/or extend this logic
As I wrote, I see two possible ways here. The easy and the hard (optimal) way. The easy way would be to turn it around, meaning all comments = End-User comments unless it's coming from the Assigned User. So the check would be on the Assigned User instead
of the Affected User as it is today. I understand that some people might complain about this, and might have adapted to the current solution, so it should be optional. In my experience I just see this as more suitable for the customers needs. Well if the source
code could be released it would make it easier to make custom adjustments, e.g. change the Private boolean value to false etc. ;)
The hard optimal way would be to add more options for deciding when it's an Analyst and when it's an End-User. Of course the Exchange connector can't figure that out, but if it did comparison to preselected groups or perhaps User Roles (e.g. if recipient
is Incident Resolver and not affected user => analyst comment).
In any case it's an interesting discussion with many aspects, but one thing is for certain: the exchange connector is unfinished. Not broken, just lacking options. Today people are making alot of custom workflows and even their own connectors to accommodate
    for these issues.

  • Capture user comments when unpublishing a document

    Hi,
I have a requirement to force the users to enter comments when Unpublishing a document. I have looked around various web sites etc and cant seem to find how to achieve this either by an OOB feature or by developing some form of event receiver.
Does anyone have an idea or link to site where this functionality is explained. Seems strange tha you can enter comments when publishing but not unpublish.
    Thanks Chris

    Hi,
According to your post, my understanding is that you want to force the users to enter comments when Unpublish a document.
We can use jQuery and Client Object Model to achieve it.
Popup an add comments dialog when click "Unpublish this version" and use
File.UnPublish method to add the comments.
    https://jqueryui.com/dialog/
    http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/microsoft.sharepoint.client.file.unpublish(v=office.14).aspx
We can also use SPFile.UnPublish Method in the Event Receiver
    ItemUpdated method.

  • Adding user comments on images using dreamweaver

    Hi.
I was wondering is it possible to add a comments section under an image using dreamweaver.
For example on a website, users can view an uploaded image and make comments underneath it. How do I do this in dreamweaver cs6?
    Thanks

    Hi grampy 84,
I used the keywords "provide commenting on website" on Google, and found a few links that look to be useful. I do not want to recommend any because I have not tried them myself. However, you could go through what's available and ask the experts here for their opinion.
    Thanks,

  • Get user comments from Service Manager 2012

    Hi all,
For some Service Manager customizations, I want to "export" the user comments from incident tickets to an email message. I want to do this with Orchestrator.
I was thinking to create a runbook with the follow components:
    - Get Incident
    - Get relationship (Related class = Trouble Ticket User comments)
In the last activity "send mail", I want to add the user comments. But I can't find the user comments from the Published data. (see print screen)
Know anyone of you if it is possible to get the user comments? If Yes, How to do that?

    Hi!
Yes, it is possible. "Get Relationship" does just exactly that, it only gets the relationship between the Incident object and the Trouble Ticket User Comment object. After you have retrieved this, you then need to get the actual related object.
To do that, you Get Object, the class you want (in this case Trouble Ticket User Comment), then make sure you add a filter to search for the "Related Object Guid" from the published data of the Get Relationship.
Make sure you select the "Related Object Guid"! It is a very common mistake to choose "SC Object Guid", but that is just the guid of the relationship...not the object you want ;)
A bit tricky to understand at first, but easy enough after you get the hang of it.

  • Add a comment to a query cell (Characteristic / Key Figure Combination)

    Hi Gurus
Essentially we are attempting to allow users add a comment to a number they enter in an IP planning screen.
The issue we have is that when we add the comment using the standard right click functionality it is stored against the basic key figure, not the characteristic/key figure combination.  This means that the same comment will appear everywhere that key figure is used.
Is there a way to make comments specific to characteristic/key figure combinations so that they would show against only that cell?
    Thanks
    Gareth

    Hello,
have you tried the GRID reporting. if the structure of your report is fix you can use a formular for each cell.
In we reporting you have the possibility to change the output of the report with the web table interface (user exit)
    I have no other idea.
    reg.

  • Add Spotlight Comment from file?

As I understand the way the *Add Spotlight Comments* works, the input is the file (or set of files) to be modified, and the added comments can either come statically from the workflow, or as user input if the workflow permits *Show Action When Run*.
I have a moderately ugly shell script that downloads and examines a succession of files and builds a description (just a few dozen words) that I want to add automatically to those comments. At the end of my script, I've downloaded the file, and stored the comments I want in a separate temp file.
As far as I can see, Automator can't do this: I can't specify a file as the incoming source of those new Spotlight Comments, can I?
Assuming the answer is negative, two quick non-Automator followups:
    1) Is there any shell-script level Unix command that can manipulate the comments (without trying to hack into the .DS_Store files, that is).
    2) Can Applescript do this? And, crucially, where's the best current help for Applescript for someone that hasn't touched it in many years?

Automator can do it, although some of the actions may not be obvious. Text (for example, the results of your ugly shell script) can be placed into a variable for later use, but you can also get it from a file. If your description/comment is in a plain text file, you can use the Combine Text Files action to get the text, then place it in a variable that can be used with the Set Spotlight Comments for Finder Items action.
    Example:
    1) Get Specified Finder Items (add your description file) (ignore input)
    2) Combine Text Files
    3) Set Value of Variable {Variable: whatever}
    4) Get Specified Finder Items (add the file you want to comment) (ignore input)
    5) Set Spotlight Comments for Finder Items {drag variable whatever to the text field, Append to existing comments}

  • User comments in Javadoc

    L.S.,
Sometimes I feel the need to extend some existing javadoc with a note of my own because sometimes the existing javadoc is not very clear and I am unable to improve because it is from another vendor.
I think it would be nice if I could somehow add user notes to existing javadoc without altering the original generated HTML files.
    Please discuss.
    Sincerely,
    Patrick Holthuizen

Check out the -tag option. This lets you include custom tags of your owns design, or change the behavior of existing ones.

  • User Comment field available for reporting?

User Comment field available for reporting?
When doing custom reporting against requests with reportable dictionaries we have a user request to also include the user comments.  How do I reference / point to the comments field for a request?

If you are referring to the comments which are added in the Comments and History section of a requisition, this information is not migrated to the datamart and is not reportable.
If, on the other hand, you are referring to a comments field that you have included in a dictionary on the service form, that information will be available in the datamart so long as that dictionary has been made reportable.

  • Active Directory and 10.8 Server: Can't add users

I would be most appreciative of any help you folks can give a Mac user at a predominantly Windows/MS/Exchange Tier I university.
I bought a MacMini to act as the departmental File server to allow a granular level of permissions on folders for faculty, administration, residents and students. The students and residents rotate in yearly or for 2 years at a time.
The problem has become when I try and add users from the IT ActiveDirectory domain. The IT folks set-up the DNS, gave it a static IP address etc. all correctly.
The MacMini was also bound to AD in Sys Prefs > Users & Groups > Login Options > Network Account Server to the domain.
There are over 200,000 users in the university system. When I try and search for a user in the Users sidebar it pulls up a completely random list of users and lists "500+ users" next to the buttons. When I try and search for a user, invariably it fails. Furthermore, there is the term "Not Allowed" next to the names of all the random AD users.
    What am I doing wrong?
The Sys Admin guy I spoke with said the only way he could figure it out was to go to Groups sidebar, create a new group and add the user that way.
The whole premise for this is to allow the users the same login ID and PWD they do for every other service on campus. That's it. I then want to be able to control folder permissions directly on the MacMini. Is this possible or do I need to use Open Directory in conjunction with AD?
Any help for this formerly Apple Power User would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks folks.

    Hi
    This is a Jabber-ism I think.
You get this if you are using UDS and the users you are trying to add aren't CUPS-enabled.
You probably also get it if the users are from LDAP and aren't CUPS enabled.
CUPC by comparison allows manual contact creation as well as adding of non CUPS people.

  • Is it possible to customize/add the comments on Ratings.. :)

    Hello All,
This query is about Rating feature again.
Have changed the configuration by adding:
    1. No of Rating Points from 5 to 10.
    2. Max No of Comments from 3 to 5.
This was just to experiment whether siuch change is possible. And yes, it does work fine.
    Question:
    Ideally, the no. of rating points is 5 with comments like <i>Excellent</i>, <i>Very Good</i>, <i>Good</i>, <i>Poor</i> and <i>Very Poor</i>.
