Adding columns in responsive views

how to add columns to just tablet or laptop view in responsive layout

Thanks for the quick reply. I’ve already got the page mostly built, I was just looking for some advice on how to make the highlighted part of the page go into two columns in just the tablet and laptop views:

Inadvertently deleted column in response view

I inadvertently deleted a linked column in the "View Responses" table. How can i get that column back and linked to the questionnaire form?

I would try using the History Function on the "View Responses" table to go back to a day/time that you had the column you lost. If you've had some people submit forms since this loss then copy and paste those replies to excel and you can import them after the recovery. The history function is located at the bottom right of the screen. I've attached a screen shot of it. Only go back as far as needed.

Problem with binding value on the UI from a calculated column in the view

I have calculated field "Readiness" in my db view, which gets calculated based on other columns in the same table. I have added new column to my EO using "Add from table" option and added the same column from to VO using "Add from EO" option. In my application, I will update a particular date field in the UI and this calculated column "Readiness" in the db will be set to yes or no and this logic is working fine, both date date field and calculated field are in same view object. I have added a attribute binding to this "Readiness" column in my view page. The problem is the calculated column value does not reflect the new value in the db, it shows the old value. I have tried different refresh option for the iterator and ppr option for the field binding. Even after reloading the page, the value shown on the UI page is different from the value in db, other bindings on the UI page works fine, not sure any special settings are required for the Calculated columns. any ideas are appreciated.

I tried to add soms debugging statements in the EO and getters method, the calcaulated column is not picking the value in db view. I'm not any special iterator/field settings are required at BC level. I'm a newbie, any help is appreciated.

How to cast a column of a derived column in a view to NULL

I have a derived column in my view and this column by default is picked up as not null.
I want to cast it to null how can i do it ?

Times missing in left column in week view

I am using iCal 2.0.3 and the hour times to not show in the left column in week view. Noon is present, but no others. There have been a few occasions that times have shown up, but then the next time they are gone. I set up a new user and went into iCal and the dates show. All my prefs are the same in my account and the "new user".
I am suspecting that there is corrupted prefs file of some sort, but I am reluctant to just delete files without knowing which one. Since I installed 10.4 a few months ago, I have found a lot of settings changed that upgrades should have kept intact in preferences.
Any suggestions?

How to get added columns in the after DDL trigger?

As title, I want to get information, like name/type/.., about the added columns by sql statement "alter table *** add (***)" in the after ddl trigger. But looks like dba_tab_columns view doesn't include the added columns.

but all versions continue to insert only the already existing columns. I think that Oracle actualize the dictionary first after this system event.

Custom column in List view

Dear guru's,
I'd like to ask you if its possible to add custom column in list view. For example in tc. FBL1N I'd like to add a column with custom text (for example with value "1" for counting the sum of rows). Is it possible to do without creating custom program?

Hi Michael,
It's not possible to add some extra text in standard out-put without modifying it or creating custom program.
For adding a column in your list view. I think this write statement will help you
WRITE 'You can overwrite the following line:'.
FORMAT INPUT ON INTENSIFIED OFF.
WRITE 'WRITE HERE'.
FORMAT INPUT OFF INTENSIFIED ON.

Adding columns in the UWL

I have changed the XML coding accordingly .and uploaded the file .but the added columns are not appearing in the UWL.
I have added the view in the   XML file corresponding to the backend related.
do i need add the view and atributes in teh standard XML file as well?

Adding column dynamically

Hi all
I have a requirement of adding the columns to a Classic Table at run time.. the number of columns are not fixed. the number of The data in there columns will be dispaled from the view initialized at run time.
I tried searching out threads on adding column dynamically but didtn get one..
pls help me out ..

Of course you can add columns dynamically, but this always needs to be from the same VO, a OA table cannot be based on more than one VO.
So if it all the columns are from the same VO, why take the pain of adding and removing columns, why not just either render it or hide it.

i am using root view in all subviews. i add any new column in root view and altered it,But, it is not coming in subviews unless i re altered in subviews.
i need to regenerate(Altering again) subviews everytime if i add a new column in root view.
how to newly added column in subviews without regenerating(Altering again) ?

That is how views work in SQL Server. The column list is created a CREATE/ALTER time, not runtime. So using SELECT * in a view does nothing.
You can refresh the view definition by using sp_refreshview.

Re-naming columns in Analytic View

I have an analytic view with a join of multiple tables. They all have a column with the same name. Upon validation HANA studio renames them e.g. Name_1, Name_2 etc. How can i re-name them?

Hi Shruti,
Validation does not modify models. This auto name proposal happens during adding columns to the output. As all columns belong to the same name space there should not be name clash among them. So to avoid any name clashes, studio auto proposes alternative names. You can rename them in properties view or alternatively you can also use rename dialog available in the output pane.

Stock Requirement List - MD04 - adding columns in this list

Dear All,
I am working on the Stock Requirement list ( transactioncode MD04) and the customer wants to add columns with the fields STPO-DATUV ,date of change of a drawing, and the drawing number with revision level STPO-YY_DZEINR.
There is a badi MD_ADD_COL_EZPS which provides in adding columns, but according the structures MDPSX , MDEZX and MDSUX there are no fields in thoser structures, which directly match with the required fields; somebody has a clue to help me out and get it working.
For instance: Vendor- and Customer data can be added by using the pushbuttons and those fields are available from above mentioned structures.

You guessed correctly. I missed to inform our Strategy. We are using Strategy group 11 Make-to-stock prod./gross reqmts plnning.
User is not able to do PGI or create delivery. He says I have enough stock in MMBE but why system is not allowing.
Here there are some pending document like -
1. Pending sales order
2. Pending deliveries (picking not done)
2. Delivery created & Picking Done but PGI not done. These things will have a commitment against the stock. But we are interested in getting these document numbers, so that we can take come action against them.
MD04 simply shows the mrp element as order / delivery but the document number is not available. How to find these documents.
Please help. Is there any table or a standard transaction ??

Adding Columns to the matrix in SAP B1 user form using Visual studio 2010

Hi,
Using Visual studio 2010, I have created a SAP B1 user form( b1f ) with one matrix.Matrix is having 5 columns. Its working properly. Later, I want to add few more columns. Then I added columns to the matrix as I have created columns initially. But, it does not saves.
i.e, Whenever I run, In B1 I could see only old columns. Newly created columns are not showing.So, I closed the .net project and opened again. Created columns are not showing in visual studio b1f itself. So, I created again and saved. But, its not saving.I tried it many times.
What I am missing?

Are you using B1 Studio? Anyway try to clean the solution first then rebuild it. This would re-copy files to the output directory, that contain your changes.
