Adding columns to Fast Entry tab in Promotion transactions (WAK1/2/3)

Hi everyone,
I have a requirement to add additional columns (using custom Z* fields) to the Fast Entry tab from transaction codes WAK1, WAK2 or WAK3. I have tried to search for BADI's that may accomplish this (including those associated with the main program from those tcodes), but with no luck. Does anyone know if something like this can be done at all?

Hi Andrew,
The only way to do this currently is via a small modification to standard code. Of course you will also probably need to include your new fields in your extract to BI for reporting and extend your IDOC if you need to send the extra fields to a POS system.

Want to modify the partner in the fast entry tab of the trnx : crmd_order

there r 4 partners in the fast entry tab.
such as sold to party, ship to parth,
service business partner and execution partner.
in this i want to modify the execution partner with new value replacing the old one.
i tried using crmd_order_maintain, but it only adds new partner in the transactino tab but not deleting the old one.
if the execution partner field is blank then only it updates the execution partner with new one, otherwise it only adds the new execution partner in the transaction tab. leaving fast entry tab's execution partner unchanged...

Hi,
All these BP informations are stored in table CRMD_PARTER. So one way one is to Modify the table directly using MODIFY command. For that you need to understand table relationship between CRMD_ORDERADM_H CRMD_LINK and CRMD_PARTNER.

Using GL fast entry to post asset transaction

Hi All,
I'm using SAP 4.6C, and I want to make some asset purchasing through FI postings. using tcode F-02.
I want to use GL fast entry feature to do this.
Posting key = 70
Account = asset number
trans typ = 100
But I'm facing error message "Enter a posting key for G/L accounts" Message no. F5 219.
I don't understand where is my mistake.

You cannot post fast data screen for subledgers. It can only be used for entering GL Line Items

Adding custom field in sales tab of BP transaction

Hi Experts,
There is a requirement to add a custom field in sales tab of BP transaction in 'Sales area data', above the field 'Customer group 1'.
Is it possible with BDT,else any other method to handle the procedure.
I think it is not possible with EEWB to add field in this screen of BP. Please correct me if am wrong.

How to delete columns in table control (tab Services) for transaction ME51

Hi, gurus!
We're facing this problem in our upgrade: we have a batch input (ME51) in order to create purchase requisitions, but we get an error with the dynpro data (program: SAPMM06B, dynpro: 0102).
We are sure we populate all the required fields in that screen.
The only possible reason we find for that error is the fact that we have two new entries in table control (in tab services=> Current settings there are 67 fixed columns)
We had to add in table T162V (which previously had only 65 columns for each variant): ESLL-SRVMAPKEY y ESLL-EXTERNALID, as described on note 1382685, so table control and table T162V could have same number of fields.
We guess we could solve the batch input error deleting those fields in both table control and T162V, but don't know how.
We really would appreciate any clue.

It's an own batch input.
The error is: "Batch input information for dynpro SAPMM06B 0102 does not exist", but the fields in that screen are alright.
And that batch input works fine in another client with same patch level, but without fields ESLL-SRVMAPKEY and ESLL-EXTERNALID in table T162V, so I guess that could be the problem (not sure about it, of course).

Inconsistent Purchase Prices in Retail Promotions (transaction WAK1)

Hi guys
I have an issue on my current project whereby purchase prices are not being pulled into the Purchase Price fields in the Retail Promotion correctly. Currently the system pulls Purchase prices as follows
When the user creates Retail Promotions SAP pulls purchase prices as follows.
If a List Price exists and no Deal Price then it doesnu2019t pull anything into the Purchase Price Fields
If a Deal Price exists which has discounts maintained against it SAP pulls the gross Deal price, i.e. it doesnu2019t take off the discounts
If a Deal Price exists without discounts, it pulls this correctly.
If anyone has encountered this before your advise would be warmly received.

This will work for POS but the actual purchase price pulled into the promotion is still not consistent with the condition record price. What the system does is it looks in the price schema, picks the first condition type (in this case the deal price condition) and just pulls the price from this ignoring any discounts maintained as supplements. If no deal price exists it pulls nothing rather than looking further down the schema and pulling the list price. Anyone know if I can make this work so it acts like pruchasing document pricing, i.e. includes supplements and keeps looking until it finds a condition record

How to add the field sapcomponent in fast entry screen

I have a requirement in which the field sapcomponent in the transaction tab which
has to be placed in the fast entry tab also.On populating this in the fast entry screen the same value
should also be populated in the transaction tab.
Guide on how to create the field in the fast entry screen and how to link it with the transaction tab.
Step by step procudure to achieve this is appreciated.

Fast entry for Loans @ PA70

We have a requirement to create a customize dialog program for Loans fast entry (IT0045), but i found transaction PA70 for fast entry but it does not include Loans.. can I add loans fast entry at PA70? if yes, how can I do it? instead of creating customize program..

Hi,
I dont' think that the IT 0045 (Loans) can be added in the Fast Entry transaction PA70. This is because some predefined program is run in the background for maintenance of different infotypes through PA70.
You will need to go for custom development to cover your requirement.

Fast Entry Screen issues

Hello experts,
Could someone explain the copy and paste feature of fast entry screens please? I created a new template and have the text field with 22 length size so that I could include other fields required by user (total limit being 82). The test field originally have 50 length size. So, when I copy and paste a range of cells (each with 50 length) for the text column, it gets split after 22 characters and the rest gets pasted over to other fields. But when I copy and paste a single cell of the text field, it gets copied to one single text cell completely (all 50 characters) with out getting spread out to other fields. Anyone can explain this and perhaps provide a solution?

How to add new "text" field in GL item fast entry?

Hi Gurus,
Is that possible to add "text" column or field in GL item fast entry. For example, if i go to Txn F-04, i enter all the details then i go to: "Goto>GL item fast entry (shift+F8). Now you will see layout (GL item fast entry). So back to my question before, is that possible to add new field or column (text field) in this layout? If the answer is Yes, appreciate Gurus help and guide me in configuration, if any.

Thank you for your kind reply. Based on the answer from the link you have given me (as per below quote), there's no "DEM03" in my selection screen. We only have SAP01, SAP02 and GL001 (customised layout). That's why i had created new customised layout GL002 and try to add the "text" field in layout as per my first question. But system still won't allow it.

Update beans after adding columns to DB tables

I am trying to use JDeveloper 10G , Studio Edition Version 10.1.3.0.4.3673
I am having difficulty finding out how to update CMP Entity Beans
after adding columns to DB tables.
I have found descriptions of how to do these from four sources.
None of these methods work.
They all refer to menu options, buttons or fields that aren't in the JDevb IDE.
List of options that don't exist :
"Synchronize with Database"
"attributes"
"Add from table"
"New from Table"
"Fields Tab"

What version of EJBs are you using?
The only option I know of for EJBs will be to generate the bean from the table again, or manually add the field to the EJB.
The "Synchronize with Database" operation is there for ADF Business Components but not for EJBs.

Date added column blank

i love the date added column. I think it's one of the best unmentioned new features in Lion.
I reinstalled OS 10.7 2 days ago, went through all of the updates to get current, because I was unhappy with the speed of my iMac 27, 3.4 Ghz & 16 gigs of RAM. The speed is unacceptable. (nothing changed, speed-wise)
Today I notice the Date Added column in any finder window is blank, except for 2 hyphens "– –".
Has anyone seen this or heard of it before? Did I hit a switch or turn something off by accident? I haven't made any other changes besides the reinstall.
What am I missing here?

Thanks SmokeMonster, That did it. Actually I had installed Lion on an external drive and forced indexing to stop by putting my other drives into Privacy in Spotlight. I didn't realize that it would carry on when I went back to running on my internal drive.
Paul Williams3, open Spotlight in System Preferences. Click on the Privacy tab and drag your hard drive(s) into the list to prevent Spotlight from indexing. I think you get an "Are you sure you want to do this?" message. Go ahead. This deletes the spotlight index of whatever you drag in there.
When you select whatever you put in there and click the minus button at the bottom left of the window, Spotlight will immediately begin to reindex.

Dear All,
I am using me12 for changing info record.
If I click conditions system is showing me fast entry screen named as Price chaging screen PB00.
I want to see other conditions as normally seen in infirecod conditions.
Please guide me.
I am confused & didnt found my regular conditions.

Fast entry error

Hello friends,
Using the tcode PA42, when I am trying to give the reason for actions, then the system throwing an error message that the same reasons for actions is not available in T530 table, even if I am selecting the reason from the dropdown list.. Is there any config neds to be done. When I am selecting the same reason in PA40, then the system is allowing to save. What may be the issue? Pleas help.

You need to carry out the configuration step under :
SPRO : Personnel management - Personnel administration - Customizing user interfaces - Fast Entry for Actions.
Before making the configuration, please make sure that action types you need to add to fast entry are added to table V_588B_M for menu '02'.

How to insert data into newly added column
