Adding MenuListener to a Menu object

hi everybody,
i want to add a MenuListener() to a Menu object. I am aware that we cn add this listener to a JMenu object but my code mostly contains Menu objects and changing all of them is not very easy at the moment. i would also like to know that whether we can add sub menus to a MenuItem. i would be vrey grateful to you if you could please tell me of a way to get around this.

thanks for your help mate. i would like to inform you that i donot want to use JMenu or JMenuItem. I was just wondering if there was a way of adding actionListeners to menus (i have tried to do that but for some reason the compiler is not giving any errors but during runtime it is not doing anything) or if we could add MenuItems to other MenuItems.
i donot want to use JMenuItem and things because they then i will have to change my whole program which is not very easy to do at the moment.i would be very grateful to you if you could please suggest me a way to get around this.

[Q] htmlKona - adding attributes not specified in object model

How do I go about adding attributes to a htmlKona object that exist in
 proprietary HTML versions, or versions beyond what is supported in Kona, if
 those add methods do not exist in the current object model?
 Most htmlKona elements extend weblogic.html.ElementWithAttributes, but the
 addAttribute(String, String) method is inexcessable.
 Any help appreciated. If this is posted to the wrong group, please point me
 in the right direction.

I guess you need to get htmlkonapatch403Patch.jar. ElementsWithAttributes

Adding URL to a 3D object

Hello,
I have 3d model from Microstation saved in format u3d. I create 3D pdf from this model. Now my problem is:
- I need insert URL to this model
(This should go with JavaScript, but I don't now how)
Second question is:
- is possible default disable some layers of the model?
(All the layers are by default activated)

Yes, layers are "nodes" in Acrobat. I know how switch on and off this nodes interactively, but I need some nodes deafult switch off. When I open my model, every nodes are switch on...

Adding leading zeros in abap objects.

Can anyone explain me
1. How to add leading zeros to a field in abap objects.
For eg:
data: dmb(6) type c value '123456',
actually the output value of c should have leading zeros added to it for length 16.
i.e '0000000000123456' . If the length of dmb is less than 16 then leading zeros should be added to that value to make it 16 as length.
Please tell me how to do it in ABAP Objects.

Adding a ECB item menu action to a declarative Visual Studio 2013 Workflow

Hi
I have build a Sandbox 2013 workflow in Visual Studio which I can attach to my desired list. I want my users to be able to trigger this workflow via the item ECB menu as your can in an App Client Control. Is this easy to do say with a feature
- assuming you specify the list on workflow initiation.
Do I need to import my workflow into SPD 2013 and play around with Actions but that sounds a bit dodgy!

when i am calling trying to add a field to an object form with following method call

this should add a check box field in the mentioned object form with label as per field_name.

Theres a patch that solves this problem. Search in metalink for the exact patch number..
I applied the patch and it works just fine.

Everytime i open Mozilla Firefox appears several messages saying that there were errors on adding toolbar element or menu element.How can i get rid of this?

I changed my operative system in my computer to windows 7 and add several plugins to my mozilla firefox, and after that i couldn´t find the plus signal to open a new page in a new tab.So, everytime i opened a new page it oppened a new firefox window, and this was very boring.So, i tryed to open mozila in safe mode and tryed to add some extras and i think it was because of this that i started to have several boxes from java script application opening and telling about several errors everytime i open a new window in mozilla.The errors are the following:

The problem now is that despite the errors appears all the time i open firefox, the good thing is that the plus signal now appears and i can open a new page in a new tab but that page opens at the same time in a new window!!! Adding a new context menu option to KM

I want to add a new menu option to KM that appears when a user clicks the context menu of an xmlform generated xml file.
From reading the forums it appears I need to edit an existing UI Command Group, adding a newly created Command that points to a Java class containing a handler class that implements ICommand?
-How do I know which command group to add my command to?
-Can I make the new command appear only for xml files generated by xmlforms?

You have to know what layout set is used in the navigation iView. If you do not know this, you have can add your user to the Debugging Settings list (KM Configuration -> Content Management -> User Interface -> Debugging Settings) and click on the Rendering Information link in the iView.
After that you can go to the Layout Set settings ((KM Configuration -> Content Management -> User Interface -> Settings -> Layout Set) and check the settings of the Resource Renderer in use. For example if use the AdminExplorer LayoutSet you'll have to take a look at AdminResourceRenderer configuration. There you can see the Command Group used for Resources (Resource Command Group).
This is the group you have to edit.

Unfortunately you can only use different groups for Resources, Folders and Links but not for different type of Resources.

Adding text to a menu

I added some text to a moving menu and the text is always there, it doesn't fade in like the buttons and title do, is there any way to make this do that as well?

I am trying to do the same thing... from the lack of response I am assuming it is not possible.

Null Pointer Exception after adding Transient attribute in View Object

I am using Jdev 11.1.2.3. I have added a transient attribute in view object and set default value to another view object attribute via view accessor of view link between view objects. the value of expression is ItemMasterRO.Description, where ItemMasterRO is the name of view accessor define in the view link and Description is the name of attribute which is in other view object.
Data is retrieving as per my requirements, but when i click on add record button in application module, it is throwing a null pointer exception. Here is stack trace

Adding navigational attribute in Info Object.

My staging layer is as below.
Data source1-> DSO1
Data source2-> DSO1
Data Source 3->DSO1
From DSO1 : there are 3 Transformaitons.
DSO -> Info Object “ABC”
DSO1- > DSO2.
DSO1 -> DSO3.
That means. DSO1 , is supplying data to ABC info object and 2 more DSO's.
I need to Enhance Data Source 1, with Field “X” add it in DSO and then add that field in Navigational attribute of IO “ABC.
I dont need this field “X” in DSO2 and DSO3.
Question :
1) I want to understand its effect on Transformations if I add field in DSO1.
Data source2-> DSO1
Data Source 3->DSO1.
DSO1- > DSO2.
DSO1 -> DSO3.
2) Will all these be inactive ( assuming yes, )
     a. Do I need to retransport all the transformations.
     b.And if Yes, I assume we need to transport DTP’s too.
3) Does adding of navigational attribute affect any other Cubes and DSO or transformations ,containing the main Info Objects. "ABC"..
Note: This new navigational attribute is not used in any of the old cubes. it wil be used in new design.

Authorization data is updated after adding transaction in role menu

Hi Experts,
When we add transaction in the menu of a role, the objects and organization levels related to the transaction are not getting reflected in the authorization data. Only object S_TCODE is coming. As an example if we add transactions MM01, MM02, MM03 in the role menu, under authorization data only object S_TCODE is coming. No other authorization object or org level are coming.
This is only happening in one system. Kindly suggest.

3D menu - objects options not showing.

I am not not getting the object options in the 3D panel popout menu as the lower image. Is there a setting I need to change? I have CS6 extended.

As per your screenshot you only have a dynamic extrusion, not a converted polygon mesh, so those options won't be available.
