Adding Pay Pal buttons to Photo Grid

I have a website in iWeb, and the photos of my jewelry that is for sale are done using the photo grid. I followed the instructions found elsewhere on these forums for using HTML snippets to do the Pay Pal buttons, and they worked great - except the button stays with the base page, and not with the individual photo it needs to be with. So the button for image #1 is the same button for the first image on each succeeding page... which obviously is NOT going to work! I cannot get the snippet to drop into the text box below the individual photo.
Suggestions most welcome! Thanks in advance! My web site is www.bethwicker.com, if you want to see how I have it set up so you can better understand where I want to add the buttons.

  • Pay pal buttons

    Hi am getting conflicting answers on pay pal buttons on photo page- when i install buttons than go to larger picture or slide show, buttons remain. 1 persons says I need to use a blank page - but than I lose my slide show- cyclosaurus says I just need to alter or add java script? I dont have a clue can any one help and tell or show me how o do this? His/her examples dp exactly what I want, but indicated they had no info on how to do it/. Thanks. Tom

    By the way, on my personal Sharepoint site - only half of the buttons are not working, the other half still work! Hopefully someone can find an answer for me. I cannot believe that something as basic as Purchase buttons would have problems.

  • Iweb photo page and pay pal buttons

    could someone tell me how to alter or change java so pay pal buttons go away when someone clicks on picture to enlarge or goes to slide show? cyclosaurus gave to example web pages that it can be done, but no explanation on how to do it.
    Thanks , wish I was smarter. Tom

    Hi!
    I had this issue about a month ago, so scheduled an Apple One-to-One session, which easily solved the problem. You cannot use the iWeb "Photo" page template if you want to add a Paypal button. As much a pain as it is, you must use the iWeb "Blank" page template.

  • Publishing to .mac pay pal buttons disappear/How to integrate iweb enhancer

    When I publish my website to a folder, the index html file gives a perfect working model of my website. When I publish to .mac, the pay pal buttons disappear and leave the same raw input that appears on the iweb page.
    Could it relate to iweb enhancer?I understand how to use iweb enhancer when publishing to a folder. How is it used when publishing to .mac?
    CAN ANYONE PLEASE HELP! I must get the site correctly published ASAP to sell concert tickets and time is running out!!

    It will work just fine publishing it to your own domain / host. Just insert the code as a Web Snippet and upload it as you normally would.
    I don't know about changing the PayPal link but you could try to create your own custom made image and just take the PayPal url from the code they gave you and connect it as a hyperlink in iWeb -- I would think it would work fine.

  • Iweb and pay pal buttons

    Not all — For a simple and free shopping cart not hosted on MobileMe, see the video here:
    http://blog.weebly.com/2/post/2009/05/announcing-weebly-e-commerce-features.html
    ...You may find you can build your entire site (not just the "shop") in Weebly. But if not, as an alternative to setting up a basic hyperlink in iWeb to your external "shop", you can link to it from iWeb's navigation bar:
    Create a blank internal page titled "Shop" (actually you can name the page whatever you want.) Then in that Shop page add an HTML Snippet with the following code:
    <script type="text/javascript">
    parent.window.location = "http://www.yourshopname.com"; // change this to your own URL
    </script>
    ...Once published, clicking on "Shop" in the navbar will immediately redirect to your external Shop page. (Thanks to Cyclosaurus for the code).

  • Pay Pal Buttons, HTML and FTP in iWeb question...

    Hi,
    I have my site fully finished but want to have the ability for people to buy directly from my website. I have found the coding for the Pay Pal buttons but info for iWebMore - however, I don't publish my site to a .mac - I publish it to a folder on my computer and then FTP it up to a server.
    Will this still work?
    One more Q:
    Does anyone know if you can add/change the pay pal buttons, because I want other features like the size/price in the same button, and not having 3 buttons for one product?
    Thanks,
    Missy

  • Exasperated trying to do a pay pal button, plz help!

    I am trying to add a buy button to an image on my website.  Pay pal gave me the code.  But where do I put it?
    The image is a rollover image but at this point I'll settle for just getting it up there.  I do want the custom image, not the pay pal logo, which will disturb the site design.
    Also, I tried going the route of adding a dreamweaver extension, but could not find "api" information on the paypal site.
    thx in advance.

    Hi  all -
    Sorry, I got called away to another task and this is my first chance to get back.  Desperately need to get this page up.
    Here's the code to the page.  Here's the line to search for that refers to the image I want to link to a pay pal page:
    <img src="images/cx_paypal_u_NEWEST.jpg" alt="Order with Pay Pal" name="paypal" width="235" height="80" border="0">
    Just for a test, when I replaced the button text with the pay pal code, a drop-down box appeared with the test amounts I had set up.
    I only want the button to link to the page.  And honestly, I really don't even want drop-down options, just a field where a customer can enter an amount with their credit card.
    I'm sort of old school when it comes to privacy and like maintaining my anonymity in the forums. I'd be happy to send a link but could I do it by email?
    Help.
    Thanks.

  • Pay Pal buttons not working

    Suddenly my PayPal buttons stopped working. I contacted PayPal and they said "Both of your buttons work by themselves, the error is caused as them being a part of DIV classes, which is stopping
    their code from working correctly. If you did not create your web site yourself, you will need to reach out to whomever did, to resolve this. You have multiple <Div> right before the button, then you close multiple sections afterwards. The button
    code is taking some of these classes you are setting, and attempting to use them."
    I have no idea what <DIV> is, or how to find and fix it. Any suggestions?
    The URL is www.KelleysIslandHistorical.org (which redirects to Sharepoint). The two pages that the PayPal buttons appear on are Join Now and Donate Now. The code was
    put in using INSERT then EMBED CODE (copy and paste). I tried setting up a complete new page and embedding the code before adding anything else, but still no results.  On another website, the buttons worked perfectly, but when I recently checked the connectivity,
    they also are not connecting to a cart or check out page. The other buttons had worked on the site for several years with no problem.

    By the way, on my personal Sharepoint site - only half of the buttons are not working, the other half still work! Hopefully someone can find an answer for me. I cannot believe that something as basic as Purchase buttons would have problems.

  • Transaction fails in pay pal sandbox account

    I have created a pay pal sandbox account viahttps://developer.paypal.comand the account has been created successfully. It automatically creates two account one for buyer and seller in accounts section. I tried to do some test with transactions as my ultimate goal was to get the postback(whether payment success/failure, products purchased) while one the way i planned to do some transaction with sand box account details .So i went documentation tab at the top of pay after i logged in . Under left hand side "Use paypal with" selected "create button" and chosen "Build your paypal button" it redirects me to this link http://paypal.github.io/JavaScriptButtons/From their i got an option of "Customize & Preview" , a modal pops up gave the merchant email id(sandbox account) and then some fake product details(also checked sandbox checkbox). When i saved a pay pal button generates, when i clicked to took me to the payment section there i gave the credentials of sandbox account i got the errorPlease make sure you have entered your email address correctly.
    Please re-enter your PayPal password.but i can able to login with these details in pay pal account.Dont know whats wrong.Thanks in advance.

    I am so incredibly frustrated, I just want to pay my bill and they won't show me the other numbers for my account number.  I prefer paying my bills through my checking account so I can keep track of what is going out and when but PayPal BillMeLater seems to block ever finding more than the last 4 digits, they even refuse to put my account number on my statement.!!!!

  • Pay pal on site

    I am in touch with pay pal and they are helpful, but just thought that someone might be able to solve this.. put pay pal button on several items on page then when click on item all pay pal buttons stay in place but all over the enlarged image? click on image to get the teeny bar at the top with all images but basket button is for the larger image on first page and not for the one on screenis that as muddled as I am ?

  • Iweb issues - photos are put in a RANDOM ORDER when added to photo grid

    My website created with i-WEB contains a lot of photos.
    When I add them to a photo grid (on a page using the "Photos" template, by dragging and dropping from Finder) the order of the photos is randomized by i-web.
    They are kind of in reverse order (highest file number first) but with a large number of files just randomly arranged in no particular order. The files have simple numerical names like "img_100, img_101, img_102" etc which are in numerical / date order in Finder, but when loaded into i-web are not in any order.
    I can't see a feature / option anywhere in I-web to re-arrange images according to name. I can of course manually rearrange them which is fine for a dozen images, but not when I have 500.
    I have tried adding a small number of images to see if it's a problem with overloading the software with too many, but the problem happens with 5 images as well as 500.
    (this is i-web '08)
    Matt

    The photo app puts files in date/time order and ignores their names.
    You can look for another app that may honor file names (sorry, I don't know any to recommend) or you can find a program that alters your file properties. If all the files have properties that read the same date and time, then it defaults to alphabetical order

  • Adding Pay Button to eMail

    I'm trying to create a Pay Now button to add to my Outlook eMail. When I create a Pay Now button, the code it creates is for use on a web page.How can I create a "Pay Now" web link to add to my Outlook email?

    Hey Joe!   When you create the code, there will be two tabs; one for website and one for email.  You will need to copy the email code.  In your email template or signature, insert and image of a paypal button and then hightlight that image and chose to insert hyperlink and copy and paste the code.   Hope this helps!

    Using iWeb09 I add a link to Pay Pay. it works a few times then i get fatal error. I found this data below on another board but do not know how to make any changes since it is all drag and drop in iWeb. Any helpful hints here for me..
    =================================
    I have never had this problem before. When I test my DONATE button it comes up with a blank page that says Fatal Error. I posted this HTML in my framed website.
    <form action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post">

    </form>
    I copied this HTML from the buttons generation page on Pay Pal....
    For security reasons, PayPal does not allow the use of their payment pages to be displayed inside of a Frame. When a PayPal page is displayed in a Frame, it is unsecure causing it to time out and/or be blocked.
    You can fix this by simply adding target="paypal" in the <form action> tag of the HTML code. This will prevent the PayPal payment page from being displayed in a Frame. You need to make your first line code look like this example:
    <form target="paypal" action="https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr" method="post">
    Thanks!

    ex_rep_chan is dependent on the db library, which judging by your printout, has not finished building. Which is odd, since Visual Studio is usually smarter about dependencies. Just rebuild ex_rep_chan and you should be fine.
