Adding remote producer deployed to cluster

We are developing a federated portal with WLP 10.2 in which both the consumer and producer applications are deployed to the same cluster.
I want to add the remote producer to the Portal Resources Library of my consumer application so that producer books/pages/portlets can be added to a desktop.
To add a producer using the Portal Admin Console's Add Producer dialog you specify the producer's WSDL URL in the following format:
http://host:port/producerWebApp/producer?wsdl
In a clustered environment, each server is listening on a different port, so I would have to specify the port number of one of the servers, which I don't think is right.
What is the proper way to add a remote producer using the Portal Admin Console when the producer is deployed to a cluster?

continued reading to clarify. Problem solved, thanks for looking

  • Error while trying to enable remote on hd insight cluster

    I'm trying to enable remote on our hd insight cluster, but every time I do, I get this error:
    "An invalid passthrough request payload was submitted"
    Any ideas?

    Hi,
    Are you enabling remote on your HDIsight cluster via the management portal or .NET SDK?
    Are you following the following steps?
    To enable Remote Desktop
    Sign in to the Azure portal.
    Click HDINSIGHT on
    the left pane. You will see a list of deployed HDInsight clusters.
    Click the HDInsight cluster that you want to connect to.
    From the top of the page, click CONFIGURATION.
    From the bottom of the page, click ENABLE
    REMOTE.
    In the Configure Remote Desktop wizard, enter a user name and
    password for the remote desktop.  Enter an expiration date in the EXPIRES ON box.
    The expiration time of day is assumed by default to be midnight of the specified date. Then click the check icon.
    You could refer the following link for details:
    http://azure.microsoft.com/en-us/documentation/articles/hdinsight-administer-use-management-portal/#connect-to-hdinsight-clusters-by-using-rdp
    Please Note that the user name must be different from the one used to create the cluster (admin by
    default with the Quick Create option) and that the expiration date must be in the future and no more than a week from the present.
    Hope this helps.
    Regards,
    Malar.

  • Routing and Remote access can cause cluster network issues?

    After enabling routing and remote access on the servers, we found lots of cluster issues on our server like<o:p></o:p>
    Cluster Service stopped
    Communication was lost and reestablished between cluster nodes
    Unable to access witness resource

    can RRAS enabling causes cluster network issues?

    Hi TwoR,
    Please offer more information about your current cluster and RRAS configuration, such as are you installed the RRAS role on any cluster node? Are your cluster in Hyper-V environment?

  • Solaris 8 patches added to Solaris 9 patch cluster and vice versa

    Has anyone noticed this? On the Solaris 8 and 9 patch cluster readmes, it shows sol 9 patches have been added to the sol 8 cluster and sol 8 patches have been added to the sol 9 cluster. what's the deal? I haven't found any information about whether or not this is a mistake.

    Desiree,
    Solaris 9's kernel patch 112233-12 was the last revision for that particular patch number. The individual zipfile became so large that it was subsequently supplanted by 117191-xx and that has also been supplanted when its zipfile became very large, by 118558-xx.
    Consequently you will never see any newer version than 112233-12 on that particular patch.
    What does <b>uname -a</b> show you for that system?
    Solaris 8 SPARC was similarly effected, for 108528, 117000 and 117350 kernel patches.

  • WLS6sp2 Hot deployment in cluster does not work

              I have two WLS6sp2 servers in cluster in two different machines. There is an EJB
              deployed in the cluster that works fine. Now I go to the console and I undeploy
              it: the servers show a message of "ejb undeployed". Now I activate the "deploy"
              checkbox again: the following error appears:
              weblogic.ejb20.EJBDeploymentException: Error deploying stateless EJB; nested exception
              is:
              javax.naming.NameAlreadyBoundException: Can't rebind anything but a replica-aware
              stub to a name that is currently bound to a replica-aware stub; remaining name
              javax.naming.NameAlreadyBoundException: Can't rebind anything but a replica-aware
              stub to a name that is currently bound to a replica-aware stub; remaining name
              The object is obviously clusterable (it is a stateless EJB with "home-is-clusterable=true").
              It has been deployed to the cluster target. When is working it is load balanced
              between both servers. It deploys perfectly when starting up both servers, but
              hot deployment does not work.
              This works fine when only one server is up.
              ¿Is not possible to do hot deployment in cluster?

    Hm, where are you seeing the javax.naming.NameAlreadyBoundException? In one of your managed
              servers, in all of your managed server, or in your admin server?
              If you see this in your admin server, then this means you got your admin joined in the cluster,
              which is not good. Remove it from the cluster if this is so.

    Hi R,
    Note: If the answer is not found here, I would certainly recommend going to stackoverflow.com and posting your question. [http://stackoverflow.com/questions/tagged/webrtc]
    *What version of the WebRTC API are you using, check the streaming api to see if its up to date
    *The spacing error, maybe try the [http://jigsaw.w3.org/css-validator/ W3C Validator] will help find why 'spacing' css value is not recognized
    *Found this discussion on the error, it looks like it is a mismatched json standard between the browsers? [https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/mozilla.dev.media/W3_dOXyEBBc]
    *would it be an unhandled object in that "rtc.fire()" call?
    *This discussion has how to turn on WebRTC degugging on: [https://groups.google.com/forum/#!topic/mozilla.dev.media/FrQE1OV7y38]

  • How to deploy WebLogic Cluster on a Blade?

    Hi, I am looking for recommendations on how ( if it makes sense ) to deploy WebLogic
    Cluster on the (Intel) Blade HW. The question is, actually, caused by the fact
    that the Blade is totally redundant and load-balanced HW where the requests are
    managed by a Big-IP module ( and redirected to the IPs on the internal Blade Cassettes
    One of possible solutions, we discuss now, is "either-or", i.e. let's discard
    the App.Server cluster and use the HW cluster. This might work for the request
    load balance but we loose all other, out-of-the-box, cluster features like session,
    EJB, JNDI and so on failover and balance features.
    Any notes with this regard will be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks, - Michael
    P.S. I repeated the same question om "cluster" Newsgroup but have not seen any
    responds so far.

    It sounds like you're getting request routing and fail-over in front of
    WLS with the Big-IP. Typically people would enable WLS clustering to
    get replicated HTTP sessions in an environment like this.

  • Execute commonj.WorkManager work on remote member of application cluster

    Hi,
    We have configured a WorkManager for our web application which works with Spring & Quartz to execute jobs asynchronously. However, all jobs get picked up by the same machine and the other members of the cluster are not given any tasks to execute.
    The commonj documentation says that a Serializable Work returns a RemoteWorkItem which can execute jobs on a remote jvm. Weblogic docs, however, say that it doesn't support this interface and implements its own cluster load balancing.
    How do we configure the Workmanager such that work is distributed across remote jvms in a cluster.
    Thanks.
    Regards

    Hi,
    Do you have TestStand 2.x or are you using a later version TS 3.5.
    TestStand 2.0 didn't handle remote execution, that wasn't available until TS3.0 or TS3.1.
    This example, shows how an executable can access the same execution of a TestStand sequencefile not a remote execution.
    If you have TestStand 3.x, then there should be some examples employing remote execution within theTestStand examples folders. or try this link http://zone.ni.com/devzone/conceptd.nsf/webmain/955A560B0B0052B88625698500563621

  • Problem adding Remote multisite Entry Point

    Hi, we have DirectAccess 2012 setup for multisite with a default site with 2 DA servers with load balancing in Sweden, one DA server in Phoenix (US) and one in Romania. For the US one i had to change the entrypointDC after i had added it since otherwise
    i could not use the RemoteAccess management console.. everything just hung when it could not load the configuration.. i guessing it timed out.. getting the config from the US AD server and that broke everything (hmmm...)
    I am now trying to add another entry point in the US (not the same site) but cant get past "adding an entry point... Please wait while the configuration is applied.." i have waited a couple of days.. it dos not get past that.
    I wanted to try the powershell command for adding a entry point to but i cant find any info on how to specify the different GPO:s correctly.. i have Windows 7 computer to so i need a server GPO , a client GPO  and a windows 7 group.. and i have not
    been able to figure out how to do that..
    Or if its possible to change a entrypointDC while adding the entrypoint.. so it wont time out.
    Anyone have any smart tips ?

  • Question related to remote weblogic deployment using wldeploy task

    Problem Description: Iam trying to perform a remote deployment using wldeploy task from one of the unix box(this box does not have a weblogic instance at all) to a remote unix weblogic server. I get the following connection exception. This script works fine when I do a remote deployment from my windows machine(this has a local weblogic server)to the same remote unix weblogic server.
    Question:
    1. Do I need to have a weblogic instance locally where this wldeploy task is executing?
    2. What configuration should be done in the remote weblogic server to support remote deployment?
    The ant task is:
    <property name="wlantjars" value="/ftmp/users/usrgrb/tmp/antjars" />
    <path id="wlappc.classpath">
    <fileset dir="${wlantjars}">
    <include name="*.jar"/>
    </fileset>
    </path>
    <taskdef name="wldeploy" classpathref="wlappc.classpath" classname="weblogic.ant.taskdefs.management.WLDeploy"/>
    <target name="deployear_dev2">
    <wldeploy user="weblogic" password="*******" adminurl="t3://he3unxd189v01:9100" action="deploy" upload="true" remote="true" source="${build.dir}/mktpx.ear" name="mktpx" targets="devCluster" />
    </target>
    I receive the following error when I execute the ant task "deployear_dev2"
    Buildfile: build.xml
    deployear_dev2:

    Few Things:
    1). When I execute the ant build from a remote box , should I have a weblogic server running...the reason I ask is..does the wldeploy task work only if there is an active weblogic domain in the local machine. When I execute the same build from my windows machine where I have a local instance of weblogic , it works uccessfully .Whenever you try to deploy any application on WebLogic Domain then the Admin Server must be running. Because the deployment entries goes inside the "config.xml" and the original copy of this file is maintained by AdminServer only. So the Admin Server must be running for any kind of configuration changes or for Deployment.
    2). I am told that http protocol is not an option in my work place and I have to use t3 protocol only. In that case, based on the error below, is it possible that the connection between my local unix box and the remote weblogic box is stricted? How to I test the connectivity using t3? I pinged the server from the local unix server and it came back with reply, but could not telnet to that remote box nor ftp to that box does not work.You can check t3 protcol is working fine or not by using the following one line command:
    java weblogic.Admin -url t3://he3unxd189v01:9100 -username weblogic  -password weblogic    PING
    If above command fails to ping the server it means either you are using a wrong HostName & Port OR your N/W is doesnot allow t3 protocol connections OR there may be a N/W Issue.

  • JMS Server deployed to cluster of servers

    Hey guys,
    I was trying to deploy a JMS server to a cluster of servers and in the target section there wasn't an option for the cluster. They had an option for each individual server and another migratable version of the server. If I target one of the migratable servers in the cluster will it apply to all of the servers?
    I read the following passage in the weblogic documents:
    Obtain a Clustered JMS Licence
    In order to implement JMS clustering, you must have a valid clustered JMS license, which allows a connection factory and a destination to be on different WebLogic Server instances. A clustered JMS license is also required to use the Foreign JMS Providers feature, as described in "Simple Access to Remote or Foreign JMS Providers" in the Administration Console Online Help. If you do not have a valid clustered JMS license, contact your BEA sales representative.
    If i'm just building a model does this apply to me?
    Thanks

    continued reading to clarify. Problem solved, thanks for looking

              Hi John,
              How's tricks?
              It looks to me as though the olbcluster JNDI reference isn't being resolved from
              the tree. A similar error results when a Connection Pool cannot be resolved, the
              JNDI context env.jdbc is resolved but the particlar pool isn't. In my experience
              it often turns out to be an error in the correlation between the deployment descriptors,
              settings applied via the console and references made in the code.
              That's my tuppence worth,
              James :-)

  • Debugging to remote server - deployment fails

    Please help. I'm running a WLS8.1 Integration server on a remote
    machine and WLW8.1 on my dev machine. I created a small test
    application and it will work as expected; build, debug offers deploy,
    undeploy, etc. life-phases are all fine on my local machine.
    I set application server properties to point to the remote machine, its
    hostname, port, domain and server. IDE then understands whether this
    server is running or not, so it all looks good. Debugging session fails
    with message "unable to enable debugging. verify that your webapp
    deployed correctly". I can view tools || server || redeploy and
    undeploy. If I undeploy, then deploy is added to this context-menu so
    the ide seems to believe that it's deployment was successful. I never
    see anything in the JDPA transport window, nor the server console
    window, on the remote machine.
    If I create an EAR I can deploy that and I can then debug the application.
    If I use the IDE to deploy (a rebuilt/modified) version of the
    application as above, I am warned that an existing application of the
    same name exists - so I tell it to replace that. Then I am again unable
    to debug.
    We've concluded that the only way to get an app to the remote server for
    debugging is to build the EAR and deploy that. But, that can't be
    correct, can it?!?!
    Thanks in advance for any assistance. My eval is stalled at this point
    and I would really like to get beyond the mechanics of using a shared
    server for our team.
    -Richard
