Adding Service to a group of phones

Hi all,
I'm making a java app that connect directly to SQLServer DB on Callmanager 4.1(3). I want to INSERT directly some service to a lot of phones.
I identify the tables: "TelecasterService" and "TelecasterSubscribedService" on "CCM0300" DB.
So, i need the PKID of the device (i get it from "Device" table).. but i don't know what is "msrepl_tran_version" field on the mencioned tables...
?Can i just use NEWID() to this field?
?What is this field?

I guess by looking at how SQL Server DB replication works, you'd be able to figure out what to put in there.
However, you should consider CCM to be just like any other 3 tier system.. with the database being the third tier and a business layer in the middle. If you write directly to the database, you bypass the business layer, which means that you'll bypass certain logic that ensures a consistent database.
Starting with CCM 5.0, there's an axl command to write into the CCM database, and the schema has been extended quite a bit with a lot of consistency information.. you'll note that depending on which table, there's quite a bit of processing to be done to ensure consistency, which makes AXL a lot more attractive as all those checks are done automatically for you that way.

LMS 3.2 Common Services User Defined Groups problem

CiscoWorks LMS 3.2 is installed on Windows 2008 64-bit server.
All devices are added into appropriate User defined group in Groups/Common Services.
All groups are fine except that Members of group named Switch-HO-access have been copied also to group named Router-Branch by system for unknown reasons.
At few files we have noticed errors :
" FATAL com.cisco.nm.xms.ogs.server.OGSServer main Exception while OGS Server start up: CTMRegistry::startRegistryServer() : Can't find/start registry server " and
" com.cisco.nm.xms.ogs.util.OGSException: CTMRegistry::startRegistryServer() : Can't find/start registry server ".
What is the reason for copying this devices and is there some other underlying problem?

it seems that the errors you see correlate with regular stopping/starting of the LMS processes (dmgtd) so this would be a normal behaviour.
Can you provide a screenshot of the problem you describe and also the rule for the group Switch-HO-access and Router-Branch

hi sorry what happoned is that ages ago i brought a i phone 3gs on 02 network i went to a sml phone shop and payed for them to unlock it. it has been fine till yesterday when i went to reset it from the phone it then turned off and came back on just just an image of a apple for about an hour so i connected to i tunes and it said downloading software after another hr it had finished but then i tunes said in had to insert a sim so i had to un plug the phone from laptop while i did this i put my orange sim in and the i phone said where do i live and had to connect to a internet connection but all the time saying no service where the signal bar is and then says activating i phone it took a few min and said couldnt finish it bec of the signal and to connect it to i tunes to do it so i connected it to itunes and i tunes just keeps saying invalid sim so i took my orange sim out and put a 02 sim in and is still saying invalid sim on itunes?

Value Added Services Printing

Hi,
Can anyone give me some instructions on how to print a VAS order?
When I try to print a VAS order template, I just get the message "Some error occured during printing".
Debugging it I found that some values are missing but I don't know where to define them (e.g. spool parameters, form, ...).
During VAS order execution, the transaction aborts after the error message is being sent.
Additionally, I didn't get a VAS order when I set the execution mode in the template to "during TO execution". When I confirmed the TO and wanted to post the goods issue for the shipment I got the error "Can't post goods issue, unconfirmed VAS orders exist". That I got the error is correct, since I set this up in customizing. The problem is that I can't find the VAS order despite confirming it. Any idea?
The ideal process would be as follows:
1. Create a shipment and VAS order for specific materials.
2. Create the TO for the shipment and start and print the VAS order.
3. Confirm the TO.
4. Confirm the VAS order.
5. Post goods issue.
As a "workaround" I could live with the following process:
1. Create a shipment and VAS order for specific materials.
2. Create the TO for the shipment, start the VAS order (ideally print some information on the VAS order).
The TO is rerouted to a different storage type.
3. Confirm TO.
4. Process and confirm VAS order at work station.
5. Create and confirm TO to goods issue area.
6. Post goods issue.
Can anyone help me with those processes, especially with the printing problem?

VAS stands for Value-added Service. It is an operation performed on materials,
which enhances their value, worth, functionality or usefulness.
In a customer scenario, the customer might request some specific service to the
goods before they are delivered.
Some examples being
1.     Company logo printed in a t-shirt
2.     Special packing of the shirt
3.     Labeling the material

As long as iMessage is enabled and the old phone is connected to a WiFi access point, it will continue to receive iMessage texts. It won't receive non-iMessage texts nor will it receive any calls.

Services disabled for Group and individual

I have just loaded OSX Server 10.6 onto a mini mac that was running OSX Server 10.5 and have upgraded to 10.6.1 As I was creating user accounts and testing capabilities I noticed that the ability to publish calendars did not work. Looking through WG Manager I notice that in the "Group Name" field in the "Basic" tab the "Enable the following Services for this group on:" has (none) in the drop down box and all 4 services, mailing, wiki, web cal, and Mailing list archive are grayed out. When I select the drop down box nothing appears.
So I check the Users and ubder the "Advanced" tab the "Enable calendaring on" check box when checked displays only "No Calendar Host Selected" in the drop down. Saving does not do anything at this point. When I return to this User the checkbox is not checked anymore.
So I check the iCal service, it is up and running. The Wiki server: text area is filled in with the FQDN.
Just in case I check the Web service Sites Web Services and all four Wiki, Blogs, Calendar and Mail are checked.
I have verified that Directory works on other computers to ensure DNS and Directory were functioning.
Also, when thus User in this examples attempts to create an account in iCal on another computer the message "The username "username" has no configured principals." appears.
Can anyone shed some light on this problem please?

I contacted Apple to seek a solution. I was informed that Apple engineers were aware of this and that the ability no longer exists in Snow Leopard for Groups. These boxes are grayed out and they should be grayed out. I did not get the same answer in regards to the User setting in Advanced. The "Enable calendaring on" check box functions but the drop down never shows any server selections only "No Calendar Host Selected". So it appears this may be the same as Group.
The login problem was resolved by using the long notation for a User which enabled a User to log in.

Hi John, In my another environment I have to migrate the users and groups from Hyperion HSS 11.1.1.2 to Hyperion shared services 11.1.2.2. I am using LCM for that, when I export the users and gropus from 11.1.1.2, it exports fine but when i import it to my 11.1.2.2 using LCM, I am getting the below errors.
Error when I try to import the groups:
ErrorEPMIE-00051: Failed to perform operation on role. Could not locate role matching filter {0} and filter attribute {1}. Please ensure that a role exists matching the filter with filter attribute.
EPMIE-00024: Failed to import all of the membership info for group test group. Invalid group members encountered. Please ensure the validity of members and its existence in their respective providers.
Errors when i try to import the users:
ErrorEPMIE-00051: Failed to perform operation on role. Could not locate role matching filter {0} and filter attribute {1}. Please ensure that a role exists matching the filter with filter attribute.
EPMIE-00020: Failed to update user 04668162 during import. Invalid identity for user. Please ensure that the user is available in the system with the identity specified in the import file.

How to configure Apache/Portal to service 2 separate groups of users

Before someone say this is a Portal issue - please read on.
I would like to know how to configure Portal to service 2 separate groups of * Internet * users (A and B) all within the same installation so that when a user enters www.aaa.com or www.bbb.com that user is directed to a public page for that group only.
Currently, when a user of either group enters www.aaa.com or www.bbb.com they arrive at the same public page where they can click on a link and goto their respective private pages (SSO Protected) after logging in.
My installation facts
infra - host1.mycompany.com
portal - host2.mycompany.com (www.aaa.com and www.bbb.com are pointing to this host)
j2ee - host3.mycompany.com
I have configured web-cache to listen on port 80 and direct all requests to host2.mycompany.com:7778.
I used RedirectMatch within host2 httpd.conf to redirect any request to the portal public page.
I wondering if it is possible to read the "IP NAME" and do a RedirectMatch on it. In other words when a request come into the Apache listener - is it seeing an IP address request or an IP name ie "www.aaa.com". Because if it is - then there may be some way to redirect based upon that. My assumption is the "http://www.aaa.com" cannot be read by RedirectMatch - only the portion after "http://www.aaa.com/mypage" ie "mypage.

I don't think the issue is one of Apache (not even sure it's one of named virtual hosts since you want both sites to serve the same content). The issue is one of having multiple .local names point to the same machine.
I don't know this can be done without your own DNS server running in the network.

WMI does not keep security information.
Unless you have enabled auditing, this information is not retained in any way.
If auditing is enabled, you can write a powershell script to look for the specific event in the eventlog. More specifically, you should look for all security events with id 4732 containing the group.
this one command does the trick

This must be manually selected when prompted - this is not done automatically.
Settings > FaceBook > Contacts > Off.

You get the task with:

Yet you refer it as task1 instead of task, ... that results in a null pointer but should not even compile. If you follow the api java doc at http://download.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31017_01/integrate.1013/b28985/oracle/bpel/services/workflow/task/ITaskService.html#addComment_oracle_bpel_services_workflow_verification_IWorkflowContext__oracle_bpel_services_workflow_task_model_Task__java_lang_String_ you would add the comment like:
