ADDING TAX CLASSSIFICATION IN BILLING TAB
Hi to all,
I have configured a enterprise structure. I could not find the tax classification in billing tab. But with the same account group for company code 1000, it is there. Kindly tell me the relationship between company code and account group. And also guide me to incorporate tax table into billing tab.
Dear sivakumar
Go to OBD2, select your account group, click on Sales data followed by Billing. You can see a field "Taxes and licences" there. select the box under "Req.Entry".
thanks

Tax Classification under Item Billing tab is missing
Hi Gurus,
When a particular Sales Order Type is chosen, under item level under billing tab, there is no such field of Tax Classification for the user to key in the tax classification field.
However, if reference using another invoice no to create same Sales Order Type, the tax classification appear.
Please revert how to set tax classification to be available.Hi,
This is how Tax is determined in the sales order line item.
You have 2 settings to do in Customer Master & Material Master.
Customer Master -
Tx: XD02
Go to "Sales Area Data" section and check "Billing" tab
There you can see "Taxes" area.
You have to maintain "Tax Classification" based on the country.
Material Master
Tx: MM02
Check "Sales: Sales Org. Data 1" tab and "Tax Data" section
You have to maintain "Tax Classification" based on the country there also.
Now you have to maintain Tax master record in VK11.
If you feel it's already maintained, go to VK12 & enter your Tax condition type there. Without pressing ENTER Key, press "Condition lnformation" button option on the top.
You'll come to a report selection screen.
Set BLANK to all fields there, including validity periods.
Execute
Now check whether you can find a record there, based on you country,
(Eg: if it's MWST, you have 3 areas,
1 - Departure Country / Destination Country
2 - Domestic Taxes
3 - Export Taxes
If you don't find a record for your combination, go to VK11 & create a new condition record.
Then start from beginning.
Should be able to see "Tax classific." now in the LI billing tab.

Value-added tax problem about free goods!
Hi All,
I've got a value-added tax problem.....
Can anyone can come out with a solution.
Here is the Business Scenario....
One product company offen give some free goods to its customer company for test or probation. In pricing, the free goods have no income so that the value-added tax is zero, but by the law, the product company must pay the VAT(value-added tax) base on the cost of the free goods.
How to implement this in SD R/3 Scenario...
Can any one of you suggest me a solution for this plz..
Regards,
wang-yuzhen.Hi,
You need to bring in a consition type "VPRS" in your pricing procedure. The VAT will be determined based on this condition type. VPRS is a statistical condition type. That means eventhough it appears with a value it will potentially not be displayed in your invoice. The invoice value will be 0 and there will be no account posting for this condition type -
About pricing and value added tax
Dear Friends,
In the standard customer order screen (VA01), when I enter Price value, I want SAP to determine
*Value Added Tax(standard%18) automatically.
Can anyone tell how to accomplish this step by step?
Sincerely,Hi,
Yes, this is there in standard SAP.
You can configure it in your pricing procedure so that when you enter the price (PR00) system will automatically calculate the VAT percentage for that and display.
IMG path:
SPRO - > Sales and Distribution / Basic Functions / Pricing / Pricing Control / Define And Assign Pricing Procedures / Maintain pricing procedures
Go in to that node.
Then select the relevant pricing procedure (Check: RVAA01 as a example)
Double click on "Control Data" node
You can see PR00 appear as the price condition
If you go down in the procedure you should be able to see condition MWST appear in the procedure.
MWST is same as VAT (Tax condition)
If you want to use different condition other than MWST, copy MWST and do that.
Then you need to maintain VAT % in VK11 as well. In this case, go to VK11 enter MWST and maintain 18% there for relevant customer and material tax combination.
Then try with a new sales order. You should be able to see the Tax calculation once you enter price.

Accounting Rule query from the Pricing/Billing tab in Service Contracts
Running Oracle Apps. 11.5.10.2. I have the query listed below which returns both header and live level data for service contracts. I am trying to add the Accounting Rule from the Pricing/Billing tab within service contracts, but I am not having luck finding a suitable join. I have tried joining ra_customer_trx_lines_all to okc_k_lines_b using the following join from etrm rctla.contract_line_id(+) = oklb.cle_id, but it does not return any records for accounting_rule_id. Once I can get records to return for accounting_rule_id, I can pull in the rule name from ra_rules.

How to add a new field to the Quote: Shipping and Bill Tab Payment region
Hello All,
We have a requirement to add payment description column to the Payment Region of Shipping and Bill tab in Quoting User(Quote Page).
We have extended the View object HeaderPaymentsVOObj and created a custom view object, then created and ported the substitution.
In Quotes page, 'Shipping and Bills' tab Payments region, we have created a new item(Payment Description), assigned the custom View object instance and attribute to it.
We are able to enter and update the payment details before substitution, but after substitution while entering payment details we are facing the below error.
At most one payment record can exist at quote header/line level.
Help and inputs are highly appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Supriya.Hi,
So you need that this new field have data in old records?
1.- If you are in BI 7.0 and the logic or data for that New field are in the same Dimension, you can use a Remodeling to fill it. I mean if you want if you want to load from a Master Data from other InfoObject in the same Dim.
2.- If condition "1" is not yours.
First add the new field, then create a Backup Cube (both cubes with the new field) and make a full update with all information in the original Cube. The new field willl be empty in both cubes.
Create an UR from BackUp_Cube to Original_Cube with all direct mapping and create a logic in the Start Routine of the UR (modiying the data_package) you can look for the data in the DSO that you often use to load.
To do that both cubes have to be Datasources ( right click on Cube-> aditional function-> and I think is "Extract Datasource")
Hope it helps. Regards, Federico -
In addition to the FormsCentral subscription charge ($152.87 including tax) I was billed about the same time for $15.93. I can't find any way to get in touch with anyone from Adobe. The phone number I'm supposed to call is cut off on my invoice. Can someone respond ASAP? Thanks
I have forwarded your request to the support team that should be able to resolve this issue for you quickly. Expect to hear from them shortly.

Multiple tax code in billing document
Hi all,
Is there way to maintain more than one tax code in billing document? if yes, how should we enter the 2nd Tax code?
Please adviseHello,
in TAXINN, the Tax Codes are determined from Condition Records (VK11).
Thus if you have multiple Tax Codes say for one Tax Code for Sales Tax (VAT or CST) & another Tax Code for Edu. Cess & HE Cess, you need to maintain the necesary Tax Codes in Condition Records for Tax & Cess & maintain GL Account determination in OB40 & system will do the needful.
Hope this helps,
Thanks,

Multiple Tax code in Billing documents
Hi all,
Is there way to maintain more than one tax code in billing document? if yes, how should we enter the 2nd Tax code?
Please adviseHello,
the lonely way to have two tax codes is to have two tax conditions in the pricing procedure.
The tax condition master records hould have the different tax codes.
Please consider that every tax code mus be assigned to at least one pricing condition, otherwise you will get error FF753.
The tax codes are copied from tax conditions to pricing condition according to rules in SAP note [112609|https://bosap-support.wdf.sap.corp/sap/support/notes/112609].

Excluding Freight Value from PO after insert CST Tax Code in Invoice Tab
Hi,
While we are creating PO, in Condition insert Freight & CST Conditions.
Problem is that when we insert the CST Tax Code (C2) under Invoice Tab, then Freight Value should exclude from the Conditions. So, user have to insert CST Conditions manually in PO.
We want that when we insert the CST tax code in invoice tab, CST value calculate with Basic Price and should no impact on Freight Value.
Plz guide..Hi,
Have a thought to capture freight cost to be captured in separate G/L,
1.Select freight condition type in M/06 ,go to details & select accrual flag in control data 2 TAB & save.
2. Also for freight condition type in M/06 , select delivery cost(B) in condition category in contorl data 1 segment.
3.Have account key & accrual key for the freight condition type in calculation schema in M/08.
4.In OBYC, you need to assign account key with your Freight G/L.
In PO, you can see all value & NET Price is calculated without freight cost. Now you can have a logic( in tax procedure) to calculate all taxes from BASE AMOUNT(BASB) from net price.

Overwrite Tax Code in Invoice tab of PO line item
Hi all.
Is there any user exit through which I can Overwrite Tax Code in Invoice tab of PO line item.
I dont think a field exit will help since I have decide the tax code value based on the line item details like plant and a/c assignment cat. and header Purchase org.
Any help will be very much appreciated.
Thanks in anticipation.
Regards,
AdityaHi Aditya,
there are three different possibilities to influence tax codes in PO - user-exit is not one of them.
If you can assign a company code to your purchase organization, then it's possible to determinate tax code based on purchase view.
Some say, it's possible to maintain on company codes, too.
It's possible to assign MM-tax class to sites and account assignments. Then via tax condition a tax code can be determined.
And you can make a condition determination based on sales tax classes, but then in a pricing user exit corresponding tax class has to be read.
Most times I use tax code determination via tax conditions - then users don't have to maintain anything in addition.

Christian
