I am getting input as eg: MAR/2005
1)i need to convert to 200503
also i need to add/substarct 3 months from it then the values will be like: 200504, 200505,200506
2)How to convert and add?
if the input is Nov/2005 ie 200511
then then the output should be
200512,200601,200602
3) how to convert this?
if i add month and if month is near dec then year need to get changed aoutomatically.
i have searched in ggogle, but i didnot find any clear solution for this.

You can use it's add(...) method to add (or remove*) dates, months or years from a certain Date/Calendar object.
* Use a negative value in that case.

"Date Added" values changed to be identical in some folders
Hi,
I normally sort my work files (mostly .ppts) by "date added" to help me keep track, this usually works fine. I have the date added column showing in Finder and set the Folder Options to sort by date added.
I noticed today that in some folders (but not all) the date added value has been re-set by the system to be a random date (eg 30 Jan 2015 15:28 for one folder), and the date and time added is the exact same for all the files. Obviously this means I can't sort them anymore. I was wondering why this has happened and if it can be fixed as it's a really annoying and potentially serious issue.
Running Yosemite 10.10.2 on a mid-2012 MBP.

You can assing default values to the Variables...Fiscal Year2008; Version100...etc. so that the user need not input all the variables.
I am not sure whether you can assign a function--"on selection" of variables. For better control It would be prudent to advise users to execute a function (if need be embed a SAVE function with in the sequence) on press of a button.

Problem while adding a new data source for the demo for mapviewer...

i use oracle 10g enterprise edition. i imported the necessary dump files and get the necessary scripts worked. i want to see the demo results in mapviewer. for that, i have to add a datasource. the XML code in order to realize this purpose is:

Value from data grid not showing in workspace
Hi everyone.
I've entered value in data grid that i maid in Planning for one member. It looks like there is no velue for that member. What needs to be done to recognize new source?
Member is set on Store and is used in some formulas in Dynamic Calc members.
Thx.Maybe it is an implied share, is it is an only child, set the member to "never share", refresh and try again.

My screen has : date_from & date_to.
date_to : will be current date(today's date) if Eg: 27.08.2007 (here i used NOW())
then date_from must be 01.06.2007 (3 months logic)
similarly : if date_to is 01.01.2007
then date_from must be 01.11.2006

(DGET(NOW(),'D'))-1) returns number which is 0 incase of 01.08.2007, so DADD(NOW(),-0,'D') is again ideally same day 01.08.2007 .
So, DADD(DADD(NOW(),-0,'D'),-2,'M') should give you 01.06.2007.

ORA-01841 Error when value for date col is NULL in .dat (using SQL Loader)
Hello Gurus,
I have some data in .dat file which needs to be loaded into oracle table. I am using SQL * Loader to do the job. Although "NULLIF col_name =BLANKS" works for character datatype, but when value for date col is NULL then I get ORA-01841 error. I have to make NULL for all rows withour value for date column

May be this problem is not with the NULLIF. The value for the date column is not in proper date format.

Suddenly we find all the references to task columns(added through collect data), are not showing up in the workflow. If we try to add those collect data columns, it is not showing in "Field from Source" field as shown below.
Here Association Tasklist field are not showing.
If we again try to select columns, we find that all the columns that we added through collect data
no longer visible in associated task list.

Please can you confirm which version of Outlook your users have (and if they are all on the same version)? All my none 2007 users lack the Edit Item button, and have to use the links in the body of the email, which I believe is simply due to the fact that
2003 et al lacks the same SharePoint integration options as 2007.

Default value of date as first day of month
Ho can I make my default value of date parameter as first day of month? {$SYSDATE()$} gives only current date and we can make it like {$SYSDATE()-7$} if we want to minus 7 days but how can we set the default value to first day of month?
I got the answer...It is {$FIRST_DAY_OF_MONTH()$} instead of {$SYSDATE()$}

In wdinit() method u can set the date
DateFormat df = new SimpleDateFormat("MM/dd/yyyy");
Date today = Calendar.getInstance().getTime();
String reportDate = df.format(today);
wdContext.currentContextElement().setFromDate(reportDate);
Another way you have set the this formate like that
1. Create a Simple type under "Dictionaries->SimpleType" called DateFormat
2. Select the type as "date"
3. Go to the "Representation" tab and set the format as "dd/MM/yyyy" (or whatever u want, but month should be MM)
4.Bind the context attribute to the type created now.

Excel converts numeric values to date
Hi,
I have a JSP page which is sending data to excel.
response.setContentType("application/vnd.ms-excel");
response.addHeader("Content-Disposition", "attachment;filename=\"a.xls\"");
I am using codes above. But excel converts numeric values to date. for example I send "18.5" but excel convert it to "18.May". But when I add " " before the value there is no problem. But I dont want to use this

the problem is not with your jsp encoding but with excel settings
enter the mathe-statistics block in your excel program change setting from date to numbers
