Additional destination in travel expense

is it possible if we can add additional destination in travel expense report?
while there was no such information in travel request?
i can't find "additional destination" button in travel expense report.
anyone can help?

In the TRIP Schema Thier is a separate flag option for 'Additioanl Designation'.
Path :IMG>Financial Accounting (New)>Travel Management>Travel Expenses>Dialog and Travel Expenses Control>Define Schema and Individual Field Control> Select TRIP Schema -Domestic Travel >F8 >
In the same screen under the head of Activate Entry Screen
1. check box Enter Address for Destination
2. check box for Additioanl Destinations.
3. TRIP Segment
4. Advances
5. User Data
2nd Check box is for Additional Destination

      1-  I want to add additional destination in travel plan when i create a new travel plan through Portal , i have checked additional destination flag in travel schema but , this flag activate the additional destination only in travel request not in travel plan ????
    is there any way to activate additional destination in travel plan ( in portal ) ?? 
    2- How to change field label in travel plan in portal ??

    Could anyone please tell how to write a spec to create a BW report for Travel Expense report. or how can we know from which tables can the data be extracted for Personal number, name of the EE, Trip number, Trip duration, Trip begin date, Trip end date, trip destination,  reason for the trip, total cost, reimbursement amount, paid by company, additional amount, total miles/Km,  cost center, CoAr, Status of the trip

        PR05 is the Tcode for Travel expense Manager where the data will be posted  and The table is PTRV_HEAD   where the data get stored .

  • Tax line items when travel expenses are posted to intercompany

    Hello Experts,
    We are posting a expense report  to a different cost center other than the Master cost center(IT0001). In this case system understanding as intercompany transaction and posting the travel expenses to different cost center and different company code. But the problem is when there is a tax calcualted, this tax is initially getting posted to original master cost center and again transfering the taxes to the intercompany cost center. this is creating an additional FI documents and also additional tax line items which is becoming very difficult for reconcilation.
    can any one suggest me where could be the correction required in order to post the taxes to intercompany cost center in the first instance itself.

    Hi Srinivas,
    Profit center was not picking for tax line item when we were doing multiple cost center in a TRIP. So we have activated "not deductible" in VST and it got worked.
    Later when we got a Cross company employee vendor posting, tax line items are posting in both company codes.
    So we have deactivated "not deductible" in VST and activated "set expense company code" in table T706K (to allow cross company code postings in TM)
    And defined a new solution in New GL config for the first prblem.
    We have not changed anything in "posting indicator" in OBCN, it was 2 (Separate line item) only. You should not change this.
    All postings went fine.

    I need to ask about travel expense accounting program.
    The standard feature TRVPA does not have "expense type".
    The requirement is to settle trips based on expense type, any idea how this  can be achieved by user exits or other features?

    Yes, the time capture can be done without the CO-Integration. If there is no co-integraion, the travel expense to cProjects is not possible, or make no sense.
    If you are interested, there are two ways by CATS Integration, with and without co-integration.
    Case A: without co integration.
    1.  Worklist (or timesheet?) in ERP will be generated according the cProject structure and custmoizing settings, which control, at which object can the confirmation done.  Such worklist does not have a co object.
    2. The user capture the time\efforts using CATS in ERP system.
    3. the confirmed time\efforts are transfered back to the cProject system, and write in the involved cProject element.
    Case B: with co-integration.
    1.  Worklist (or timesheet?) in ERP will be generated according
         - the cProject structure and
         - customizing settings, which control, at which object can the confirmation done
         - the assigned co-object of cProject elements.
        The worklist has a co object.
    2. The user capture the time\efforts using CATS in ERP system.
    3. the confirmed time\efforts are transfered back to the cProject system, and write in the involved cProject element.
    4. The (actual) costs are booked at ERP system due to the co-object in worklist.

  • Linking Travel Expense to Payroll

    Dear All,
    I have one requirement from HCM. I have employees who raise their Travel Advance through iView and the same will go through approval for the mentioned amount. Once the amount is approved, i need this amount to be saved in Wage type.In later stage, the employee will submit the Travel expense along with the receipts. Now here i need the automatic deduction of the amount through his payroll if the expense is below the advance raised and addition to his payroll if the advance is lesser than the expense and also there has to be a reference business trip number to be populated in the employee payroll
    Can anyone tell me the configuration which needs to be taken care in Travel Management & HCM Payroll, so that i can achieve the above scenario.

    Hi,
    You should use SAP_WAPI_WORKITEMS_TO_OBJECT. You will set the trip "object" (BUS2089) for it as an input and it will give you all work items related to trip object. Search SDN for this function if you don't know how to call it.
    Then if you need further info of any of the work items, just take a look to functions SAP_WAPI*. You will find a function to almost any purpose (related to WF) there.

  • "Travel Expense - cProjects" without accounting integration

    Working with cProjects 4.0 (as a stand alone system),  can I have time and effort captured against task of cProjects' project? I am looking for a scenario where a consultant assigned to a task in cProjects would capture time and also travel expense corresponding to that task (transport / boarding / lodging) expenses in CATS. Can this be done? Where can I retrieve this data from (table name)?
    Accounting integration is not to be done. I am only looking for the manual entry of data from the consultant (resource) to be stored in some table in the system from which I can retrieve the data.

  • When creating a travel expense, an incorrect input tax code is defaulted

    Dear experts,
    I'm new with SAP customizing in Travel Management. I have an issue that I cannot solve and I've tried almost all possibilities.When an employee tries to create a travel expense in PR05, him being from Belgium, the default input tax code for any expense type is, for example V3. This code exists in FI and will be transferred correct into accounting. But, if the employee wants to change the the country key in the field Country of Receipt (found in additional info section), anything other than the domestic country (BE) will automatically change the input tax from V3 to V0, which we don't even have in FI.
    I tried the following:
    - checked under global settings and for Belgian trip provision variant there was always Input Tax per Travel Expense Type flagged and V3 with cocd BE;
    - checked each and every expense type for the default input tax and all have V3.
    I had to create a country grouping EU for all European Countries. All maximum rates for different expense types have been defined using this EU code. Might it be this grouping?
    Any new expense type, similar to any of the ones I have problems with, will keep the default V3 tax code no matter if I change the country of receipt.

  • WD Exception when pointing ESS Travel & Expense to multiple backend systems

    Hi All,
    I have a query regarding ESS Travel Management pointing to multiple backend systems.
    ESS MSS is installed on a single portal(Portal1).
    ESS MSS is currently pointing to Backend System1. The requirement is that ESS Travel from Portal1 should point to various multiple Backend Systems therefore making ESS Travel region-specific.
    Is this possible? and if so what are the pros and cons?
    This is what I have attempted:
    1. Followed the documentation from "Multiple Back End Support for the Adaptive RFC Model" [http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw70/helpdata/en/af/84a34098022a54e10000000a1550b0/frameset.htm]
    Therefore, I created 2 JCOs namely: SAP_R3_Travel_R1 and SAP_R3_Travel_MetaData_R1 pointing to Backend Sytem 2. SSO and JCO tests successfully.
    2. On the iview properties for ESS Travel & Expenses, I added the following to the Application Parameters: sap-wd-arfc-useSys=SAP_R3_Travel:_R1&sap-wd-arfc-useSys=SAP_R3_Travel_MetaData:_R1
    3. I additionally created a system in the Portal under  System Configuration pointing to Backend System2 and adding the SAP_R3_Travel_R1 as the default System Alias. Do I need to add SAP_ITS_XSS and SAP_WebDynpro_XSS system alias, if so how since it is seeing as redundant because it is added in the system I created for Backend System1.
    4. I then tested one of the ESS Travel & Expenses iviews. I have the following error:
    Accessing System XYZ is not possible because RFC Metadata was retrieved using System ABC. Please assure you have configured the RFC Connections properly. A Server restart may be necessary!

  • VAT entry field in Travel Expense Manager

    Dear Experts,
    Besides a field for the VAT code in the Travel Manager entry screen, I also would like to have a field where I can enter the VAT amount. This is a requirement for The Netherlands because the VAT amount on the invoice should always be reported to the authorities. And this amount can differ from the VAT amount calculated by the system.
    In customizing I have not been able to find a setting to make that field available.
    Does anybody have a suggestion for me how to make this VAT amount field available in the Travel expense entry forms?

    I suspect you get this error message during posting?
    There is new behaviour with note 1421746 and the intention for 1BS entry in T030 is this: If the cross company
    clearing accounts are vendors or customers and the posting line also contains a vendor (e.g. employee vendor), the cross-company clearing accounts cannot be directely posted to (debit cross company vendor, credit employee vendor). Therefore the posting to the cross company clearing accounts must happen via an additional clearing account. And this is searched per default for the activity HRT and the symbolic account BS (entry 1BS in T030).
    Now you can implement the note 1421746. Doing this, this above described split will only occur, if a posting line indeed contains
    a jurisdiction code. If not, the split will not occur and subsequently the 1BS account will not be searched for.
    this is a new behaviour which is intended. If the involved company codes are located in different countries and the Jurisdiction Codes are active in 1 of these countries, the document is split into 1 document per company code connected with the cross company clearing accounts. This was done directly in FI before, now the sending application sends 2 documents.
    Exactely this behavour you already have if the 2 company codes are in different logical systems or you choose a document summarization on the selection screen of '1 document per company code' or '1 document per CO object'.
    This split functionality is just re-used for a new case which is the above described country difference with Jurisdiction codes.
    So basically check your entries in T030 for 1BS and the clearing G/L account!!

    Our customer is looking for a solution for travel expenses based on the express expense sheet. However they want to skip the first screen where trip specifications are described and go directly towards the expense screen.
    SAP technicaly a trip however is needed based on the standard SAP scenario. Is it easily possible to enhance the webdynpro so that the first screen will be skipped?

    And technically, don't we need the tripnumber to ensure that the apllication still works correct. My first impression is that we need to modifcate.
