Address code in PO

Hello, In PO item level, in delivery address I can see address details are populated but where as address field is empty with no number in it.Could some one let m eknow from where the address number is copied?

Hi,
All address numbers are stored in the table ADRC.
If you are creating plant or company code or vendor number, then system immediately creating address number for the plant address or company address or vendor address or custmer address and storing in the table ADRC.
If you want to maintain any external or additional address, then use transcation code MEAN to maintain address. At the time of creating addirion / external address, use address group as ME01.  System will create address number for this address and storing in the table ADRC
When ever you creating PO, system adopting plant address as delivery address. If you want deliver goods in any another external address, maintain address number of that address in the address filed @ PO - item level - Delivery address tab.
If you don't know address numner, then maintain address manually in the PO.

  • How to create an address code for PO delivery address?

    Hi Guys,
    How to create an address code for the delivery address in the purchase order? Please explain me with details.....
    Thanks
    Raja

    delivery adress records can be created with transaction MEAN.
    the number is purely internal.
    In ME21N you can then search by name (you will certainly not know the number)

  • Tip - delete any email address code in the Insert email link prior to use!

    I have been using the email link for a while now. I know its not secure, but in certain cases it can be used - I think.
    Today I found a strange problem.
    I have a recordset with lots of email addresses in it which are shown on an encrypted password and userlevel  protected page.
    The idea is to allow users with fully authorised access to the page to be able to email the other users by clicking on a link and opening their email client.
    The email addresses are displayed as follows on the page:
    <td>Email address:</td>
               <td><?php echo htmlentities($row_clubedit['club_chair_email'], ENT_COMPAT, 'utf-8'); ?></td>
    So after highlighting and copying  the php code, I click on the insert email link in the insert menu.
    The insert panel comes up with some code  in the email link field without me paying any attention to it.
    I paste my code into the text part of the link panel.
    It comes up with the following code:
    <td><a href="mailto:<?php echo $row_joinupset['mail']; ?>"><?php echo htmlentities($row_clubedit['club_chair_email'], ENT_COMPAT, 'utf-8'); ?></a></td>
    Note that thre are now two different recordsets in the email address.These recordsets do exist on the page, but I did not insert the  $row_joinupset['mail'] into the code - Dreamweaver did it.
    Checking further, I find that earlier on the page I had created an email link by the same method using the joinupset recordset. The insert Email Link panel had not cleared the old email address from it's cache, so all the email adresses after the first one pointed to the same email address.
    Because the page showed the correct email address, I did not notice until I tested my code, and found that every one called up the first email address.
    I do not know if this is a bug in Dreamweaver, or why it happens, but it does.
    Tip - delete any code in the email adress field of the insert panel prior to inserting the correct email address code.
    CS5.5 on a 64 bit win 7 machine.

    I have gone though this process yesterday and worked for me.
    I would suggest you to have following things handy before calling Apple
    1. Serial number of apple device which is associated with ur apple id
    2. At least one answer to your old security questions
    3. And you should be logged on to my account page of apple Id so that when customer care demands generation of 4 digit code you can do it.
    This complete process is very simple but may take some time but apple guy was very helpful in my case.
    Also remember the answers to the security questions are case sensitive.
    Good luck

  • Incorrect Delivery address in PO

    Hi,
    A strange delivery address has been coming up on all our PO that we are raising. It has changed address on everything, even orders that we have already on the system has been changed. It seem that the address is from an order that we put on the system but we don’t understand why it has used the suppliers address as a delivery address?
    The effected orders are the one's raised manually (A/c assigned consumable items) as well as those generated automatically from the Pur req's.
    At the moment, we have to manually change the address code in every PO line item that we place which is getting quite annoying. Before this error, the address details were already set up, so no manually input was necessary.
    Can anyone pls help urgently as we will have 100's of orders to be placing in the next few days.
    Thanks for your help.
    Kelly

    Hi,
    The delivery address will only come from a limited number of places.
    It will be the Plant address, or the storage location address (if the storage location has been specified on the PO).
    It could be a manually entered address (not applicable here).
    Also if you reference the vendor number on the address screen the system will use the vendor address as the delivery address.
    Or it could be something wrong in the PO print program that has been used?
    Check the PO in ME23n and if the address is OK there but wrong in the PO print, then the print program is the cause.

  • Postal code ASC order problem

    Hi,
    I have a drop down box which lists postcodes (UK address
    codes) in ASC order. This all works fine, except the order is not
    as I'd like:
    e.g. The ASC listed postcodes displays like so:
    KT1
    KT10
    KT11
    KT12
    KT16
    KT18
    KT2
    I can see the list is ordered 'correctly' however I need it
    to more logically, list as follows:
    KT1
    KT2
    KT10
    KT11
    KT12
    KT16
    KT18
    Is this possible using SQL or any other method ?

    UK postcodes are particularly difficult to handle in this
    way. If your
    are using PHP, you could gather all results in a
    multidimensional array,
    and then use natcasesort() to reorder the results according
    to postcode.
    The alternative would be to use three columns instead of one
    for the
    postcode. You might call them postcode1, which has just the
    initial
    alphabetical characters; postcode2, with the number before
    the break;
    and postcode3, with the rest of the code. There may be a
    better way.
    Like you, I would be interested to hear of it.

  • Limit Address Type in SSHR

    Hello,
    I am trying to limit the LOV for address types in SSHR and I am unable to "disable" some of the records as they are "protected against update".
    If you go to lookup table;
    US Super HRMS Manager > Other Definitions > Lookup Tables > Query "ADDRESS_TYPE"
    I am trying to "disable" Recruiting ( CODE REC) and Temporary Offer Address ( CODE TMPMAIL) but it is protected. Does the access level of the table have anything to do with it?  How can I disable it or make it not show as an option in SSHR?
    What does it mean exactly when the table is extensible ( I understand that the definition is that it is able to be updated for future growth) but I am not sure if that is limiting me from deleting or disabling those types. I am unable to end date the option or add a "-US" tag as those fields are grayed out too.

    Hi IVN,
    An extensible lookup is one which you can add to but cannot amend the seeded values.
    One way is to use Help - Diagnostics - Examine
    and set the ENABLED_FLAG to N
    But this is not supported by oracle, so you need to be cautious.

  • Printing List View - URL Mailitem Showing Up!

    Hi,
    When I try to Print from iCal using List View, lots of URL code shows up under my To Do Items. Is this normal? For example:
    Buy Black Trainers
    URL: mailitem:12BBAE63-0EFD-43AA-8AEF-A50E33029129?type=todo&action=showparent
    Why on Earth would anyone want that URL address code printed? I'm sure that information is useful to the Mac, but it doesn't make a lot of sense to a regular human being. There seems to be no way of turning it off, other than unticking To Do Items completely.

    Does anyone know if syncing via .Mac will also cause the URLs to show up? None of my to dos have been entered via Mail and yet all but the one I just entered have the offending URLs. Most of the contents of iCal is there via a "Restore iCal..." done as part of a migration to Leopard. I have entered several since then, all via iCal. And, all but the one that I entered just moments ago have the URLs when printed as a list. In terms of .Mac syncing, I only sync iCal and Address book, and the sync is between two Macs running 10.5.1.

  • Dhcpd SUNW options and jumpstart...

    I am having problems getting my SUNW,Sun-Blade-100 's to boot from via
    boot net:dhcp - installIt acquires the the ip address and boots from the tftp server just fine. The problem is that I have a 'sysidcfg' file on the NFS server and it is read by the install process (That is, I can see the printout that says it has read the sysidcfg file), but the install does not seem to use it to configure the system. It then reverts to a manual configuration.
    Any Ideas as to how to get the clients to use the 'sysidcfg'?
    I am using
    Internet Systems Consortium DHCP Server V3.0.5 -- on CentOS Linux
    the tftp server is also on the CentOS Linux server
    The NFS server is running solaris 10.
    To add to the confusion, the NFS server is on a different subnet then the install clients.
    My setup.
    This setup is spread accross multiple files by way of 'include "/path/to/foo.conf", but this is the order in which they appear.
    Odviously the IP's are changed and the FQDN's are changed to example.com.

    The specific bits you need depend on the specific version of Solaris that you're installing. Does the installer ask you questions about all of those items? If not, it sounds like the file is being read. What release is being installed? I don't see any mention of a default_router. You may want to supply one (or define NONE) here.
    (I wouldn't bother with an external timeserver. I find it easier to specify timeserver=localhost and fix the time post-boot. Probably not your problem here, but I've seen it cause problems in older setups).
    A couple things that come to mind that I don't have the answer to, and can't find in the Docs:
    1) Do the dhcpd, tftp and the NFS server all need to be the same server for some reason?No. The fact that you're getting to this point shows that all of that phase is working. You've already succesfully booted from the NFS root filesystem and are running Solaris.
    2) In regards to the dhcpd, is there some protocol that the sun-boxes expect that the dhcp server is not giving?No. You're done with DHCP by this point. Congratulations.
    3) Is having the NFS share across subnets of any consequence?Shouldn't be.

  • Report - List of sales orders for a specific region in Ship-to Party

    Hello,
    I have a requirement to find all sales orders that were shipped to a specific US state within a specified date range.  For example, it would be a report to find all sales orders from 2009-2010 where the region of the ship-to party is CA.  The issue is that there is a generic "SHIPTO" partner set up where Customer Service manually enters the address and I cannot pull this information from customer master records.  Is there a standard report that I can find this information?  I cannot find in VA05, also tried looking on the delivery side in VL06o but I cannot find in there.

    After doing additional digging on this, I developed a query in SQ01 using the following table join:
    LIKP  -->  VBPA  -->  ADRC
       |____>  VBFA  -->  VBRK
    The address code provided in table VBPA can be accessed via table ADRC.  Therefore, when doing the link in SQ01, link together VBPA-ADRNR to ADRC-ADDRNUMBER.  When doing this it brings in the address information, then you can further develop the query to filter by region code.
    For my report, I used the following fields:
    Delivery - LIKP-VBELN
    Delivery Date - LIKP-LFDAT
    Preceding Sales document - VBFA-VBELV
    Preceding Item # - VBFA-POSNV (at my company every delivery document item starts with 10, later filter in the report to only show 10 in this field)
    Follow-on document - VBFA-VBELN (I'm using the billing document as the follow-on to pull the net value of the invoice)
    Follow-on document category - VBFA-VBTYP_N (set the document category to only look for M - Invoice; otherwise you'll pull in PGI document and WM documents if applicable)
    Net Value - VBRK-NETWR
    Ship-To Party - LIKP-KUNNR
    Partner Function - VBPA-PARVW
    Name 1 - ADRC-NAME1
    Name 2 - ADRC-NAME2
    Street - ADRC-STREET
    City - ADRC-CITY1
    Region - ADRC-REGION
    Postal Code - ADRC-POST-CODE1

  • Why can I not print to my HP CM1415fnw from my Mac, but I can from my PC?

    Why can't I print from my Mac 10.6.8 to my newly purchased HP CM1415fnw (supposedly air print enabled) but I can print to it from my PC?  I thought mac's we're supposed to be easier and this printer is not discoverable wirelessly on my mac or iPad/iPhone/Ipod, but it is from my PC?  I can only print from the mac/iPad/iPhone/iPod to this printer IF the wired cable is installed.  Seems like HP has the problem, but the mac can't even pull up the printer's web page unless there is a wired ethernet connection.  Yes, it is working just fine wirelessly with my PC's on the network.

    Go to the Apple contact page and the first section should say something like "To purchase by phone, please call..."
    Call this number and order a Snow Leopard DVD.
    http://www.apple.com/??/contact/
    replace the ?? with your country's address code, e.g. http://www.apple.com/uk/contact/
    or if you are from America it's simply http://www.apple.com/contact/

  • TreeMap class and message not understood issues - help please

    Can anyone help with this one please?
    The code is the start of a Map interface/TreeMap class to hold names as keys and addresses as values (both Strings).
    I think the instance variable and the constructor are correct, but the addAddress method throws an error
    Semantic error: Message addAddress( java.lang.String, java.lang.String ) not understood by class'java.util.TreeMap'.
    I can only guess that I've overlooked something quite simple? The line at the end of the code should read
    "Replaced "old address" with "new address" for "new name" and this should only display if the key already exists in the Map,
    hence the if statement. The keys and values have been declared as Objects for future flexibility. Sorry if this is all blatantly obvious.
    Also if I wanted to test this code and create an instance of the Addressbook class, what should my code look like?
    Many thanks.
    {code}import java.util.*;
    public class Addressbook
    private static Map<Object, Object> addresses;
    public Addressbook()
    super();
    this.addresses = new TreeMap<Object, Object>();
    public static void addAddress(String name, String address)
    if (addresses.containsKey(name))
    addresses.put(name, address);
    System.out.println("Replacing " + addresses.remove(name) + " with "
    + addresses.get(name) + " for " + name);
    else
    addresses.put(name, address);
    {code}

    If you're only going to store Strings in the Map, make sure you are specifying them as generics so that all operations return Strings by default.
    You don't need to use contains if you are going to replace a map value. The old value will be returned when you place the new one in. Should be quicker, since you're not searching for the same key twice.
    Do not refer to a static variable with this. it become confusing and could result in bugs. That said use static sparingly.
    The AddressBook should probably be an instance and all the variables and methods should be instance variable and methods.
    I don't know your requirements however so I'll leave this as a suggestion.
    import java.util.*;
    public class AddressBook {
       private static Map<String, String> addresses = new TreeMap<String, String>();
       public static void addAddress(String name, String address) {
          String oldAddress = addresses.put(name, address);
          if(oldAddress != null) {
                System.out.printf("Replacing %s with %s for %s%n", oldAddress, address, name);
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            addAddress("me", "123");
            addAddress("me", "321");
    }Brushfire,

  • 0xC0000005 Access Violation in cvirte.dll (SetWindowsErrorMode?)

    Hello,
    We will occasionally see a crash with our CVI LabWindows based 2010 SP1 application, a 0xC0000005 Access Violation exception thrown from within cvirte.dll. The app is working primarily from a spawned thread when the crash occurs. I've been able to get it consistently on a Win7 x64 VirtualBox VM and have some data that may be of use if someone there would like to investigate.
    When I track down the location of the instruction pointer (work below) it seems to be in the "SetWindowsErrorMode()" function (at least going by the exports in DependencyWalker):
    1. The IP is 0x687B5F1C at the time of the crash.
    2. The base module address for cvirte.dll is 0x68420000, so the IP is 0x395F1C bytes into the DLL.
    3. Using DependencyWalker on cvirte.dll and sorting by entry point indicates that the IP is inside of "SetWindowsErrorMode()" at 0x003938D0, which comes before "MinimizeAllWindows()" at 0x003984B0.
    Coincidentally, this crash happens in CVI 2013 F1 as well, the offset within "SetWindowsErrorMode()" is a bit different (0x264C past entry in 2010 SP1, 0x2D0C past entry in 2013), but locally the code looks the same in my VS2010 disassembler:
    CVI2010 SP1

    I have dump files (mini, or mini+heap) for both builds if it would help.
    This bug seems semi-similar to the thread "Is InstallPopup not threadsafe?":
    http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabWindows-CVI/Is-InstallPopup-not-threadsafe/m-p/716822/highlight/true#M359...
    Just for posterity, I'll add the data for the 2013 build. IP is 0x687CA2CC, DLL Module address is 0x68420000-0x68A28000, so offset is 0x3AA2CC. "SetWindowsErrorMode()" enters at 0x003A75C0 in this dll, and "MinimizeAllWindows()" is at 0x003ACB20.

    Hi Kelsey,
    Apologies for the long response time, I didn't receive a notification for your post.
    > What does your application do?
    Our application is used in this context to setup and run our vehicle simulations on a Windows based PC.
    > And, what is it doing at the time of the crash?
    At the time of the crash a simulation is being launched and run on another thread from the default thread pool like this:
    CmtScheduleThreadPoolFunctionAdv (DEFAULT_THREAD_POOL_HANDLE,
        sRun,
        NULL,
        THREAD_PRIORITY_NORMAL,
        NULL,
        EVENT_TP_THREAD_FUNCTION_END,
        NULL,
        RUN_IN_SCHEDULED_THREAD,
        &sThreadFuncId);
    That spawned thread will load a simulation DLL, read some data as input, run the simulation, output the results, then close the DLL.
    As I noted earlier, I couldn't get it to happen on my desktop, but I could get it on the VM when I used a very slow storage device for the I/O of the simulation (a slow thumb drive attached to the VM). My boss was seeing the issue on his virtualized PC on his Mac, typically only when he used a slower storage device as well (network storage for example).
    > When you reproduce this issue in 2010 and 2013 f1, are you using the same computer or using different machines?
    Both of these crash dumps were produced on the virtual machine as described.
    > For each dump file, which version of LabWindows/CVI were you running? You can find the version number by selecting Help»About LabWindows/CVI within LabWindows/CVI. Which version of cvirte.dll do you have? This will be located in System32 and/or SysWOW64.
    The development environment installed was CVI 2010 SP1. So the 2010 dump was just using the runtimes bundled with that installation. I then installed the 2013 F1 runtimes to see if the same issue persisted.
    It's possible I did a clean install with the 2013 F1 dev environment, I will double check this tomorrow when I have access to the virtual machine.
    Thanks for looking into this--

  • Region wise Sales Report / Sales Analysis

    Hi,
             I have a requirement of Region wise sales report. I have searched in the forum and found that I could acheive it through SE16-->VBRK-->REGIO field . I have tried executing the same, but the problem is when ever i am trying to pull up the sales for a particular region the system is giving an invoice number. But when I go to that particular invoice and see the PAYER , the PAYER is in the different region.
             Please let me know which region the system considers at the table level. I mean to ask which region the system considers for a particular transaction.
    Thankyou,
    Rakesh Tummala.

    Hello Rakesh,
    I am facing a similar issue that you are facing.  Yes, there is a region populated on the billing document in table VBRK.  However, depending on how your order entry is configured, the region listed in the billing document isn't necessarily the region the materials were shipped to.  To fine tune your requirement, are you looking for a report where the ship-to address is in a specific region or where the payer or sold-to address is in a specific region?
    If it's the ship-to address in a specific region, you'll need to develop a table join query in SQ01.  Join the tables VBRK --> VBPA --> ADRC.  VBRK is the billing document header table.  VBPA is the partner table where SH (ship-to partner) can be determined and it gives you an address code.  ADRC is the Business Address Services table that reads the address code and provides the address.  In the next step, make sure ADRC-REGION is a selection field so that you can specify the region.  Then, run the query, ensure VBRK-NETWR is an available field so that you can calculate the net value of billing documents for the specified region.
    If it's the payer or sold-to address in a specific region, this is easier since it's master data and not transaction-specific data (remember, your customer service group could be manually changing the ship-to location when creating a sales order, which is why you would need to follow the aforementioned steps).  You can do a quick search for accounts within a specified region then obtain the information in VBRK for the specified payers.
    I hope this information helps you, please provide questions if you need further clarification.
