[ADF 10.1.3.4] display additional fields according to CheckBox value

Hi all!
I have the following requirement to address via ADF:
When the user select one checkbox within a form some further fields should be displayed on the page, without perform any "validation" action on the previous fields.
In ADF partial submit is available only on commandlink and commandbutton.
How can I refresh a portion of page (panelgroup) according to checkbox value?
What are the possible solutions that we have for this?
Have you got some code-snippet to show me a workaround?

Hi Federico,
set autoSubmit="true" on your af:selectBooleanCheckbox and the partialTriggers on a component surrounding your additional fields.

This may be a newb question but how can I display additional user attributes in the results of a user search in the admin console?
i.e. more than just the standard fields of: User ID, First Name, Last Name, Status, Enable, Disable, Unlock and Delete.
I would like to include some UDFs that I have defined for the create user form e.g. personnel number.

Thats not gonna work for sure. Thats to include additional attributes in the search input parameters drop-down. There is another procedure to do that, but not very sure if it works or not because once I was decompiling the code and found that it doesn't have an implementation. You can anyway try it out, the worst would be that you would not be able to see the column headings, but try atleast:
And thats through the use of properties file. Open up ** and search for the following section-
*#global.request.users.selectedListDisplayFields=*
*#global.request.users.selectedListDisplayFields.lables=*
Remove the comments and update it to below-
global.request.users.selectedListDisplayFields=USR_UDF_EMPID
global.request.users.selectedListDisplayFields.lables=global.xmlmetadata.users.USR_UDF_EMPID
where USR_UDF_EMPID is the UDF and global.xmlmetadata.users.USR_UDF_EMPID is its associated translation.

Display additional fields in Service Request detail page

Hi All,
Is it possible to display some fields like Account Type, Contact Type etc. in Service Request detail page?
Service Request Field Edit page only allows to add default value to the newly created field, that's not the result that I needed.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

How Display Additional Field of a Select Expert Wizard Result

I have a group of records by customer. I have performed a Select Expert to pull the latest dated record for the customer. But I also need to display the subtotal value associated with the selected record of latest date. How do I do this?

In the field explorer use Running Totals and place them in the required section.

FBL5N : Adding additional field PERNR to layout

Hi experts,
I had added additional field PERNR - personnel number in FBL5N layout for displaying in output.
I had added pernr- personnel number by following the path
SPRO -> Financial accounting ( new ) -> accounts receivable and accounts payable-> customer accounts ->line items -> display line items -> define additional fields for line item dispaly
here i added bseg - pernr
after adding , in FBL5N layout the field is appearing , but it is displaying blank in output .
Is there any thing needs to be done to display additional field in output of FBL5N.
kindly give me any suggestions.

FBL5N: customer line item display.
BSEG-PERNR: personnel number.
Under which circumstances should BSEG-PERNR contain a value if you create customer related postings?
If there is no personnel number given during posting (why should it?) the field added to the FBL5N-layout will be empty.

Additional field in infoset as string

Hi,
Is it possible to add an additional field in an Infoset with type string?
When i'm creating it, I need to fill the definition of the field, with a certain type or with reference to some table field, but I'm not finding any suitable to here of type string. I always get an error "you must use a flat structure" or "you cannot use internal tables, strings, references, or structures as components".
This means I cannot create an additional field as a string?

Second , in RSO2 I create data source and joined with infoset . Then comes to selection filed screen . Here was my problem ; there were no field that I added to infoset ,additional fields didn't appear
Can I explain it ?

Additional fields for line item display for Vendor Accounts

Hi,
The additional fields for line item display have been defined for the vendor accounts. I am able to see the additional fields in SAP 4.7 system but not in ECC 6.0.
Could you help me to know how the same will be displayed in ECC 6.0 system.

In SPRO, Vendor Accounts -> Line Items -> Display Line Items -> Define Additional fields for Line item display, the fields for Check number from (PAYR-CHECF) and Tax Jurisdiction (BSEG-TXJCD) have been defined.
When I am executing Vendor Line Item display (FBL1N), I am not able to select these fields for defining a layout. Could you please let me know, how I will get these fields in FBL1N.

Define Additional Fields for Line Item Display

Dear gurus,
I'd like to ask for your help again, please. I've just added the field BKPF-USNAM to the list of fields of FBL1N using IMG:" Financial Accounting-> Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable->Vendor Accounts->Line Items-> Display Line Items->Define Additional Fields for Line Item Display". When I run the report the field is correctly displayed but if I save the current layout and set it into the selection screen, the column appears is blank. And if I open the change layout window and click OK the column gets filled.
Is there another transaction that I must set new columns to FBL1N.

Hii,
When you will execute FBL1N, it will come up in standard format. if you want to see any specific fields,then you have to go to Change Layout button and choose from available fields as per your requirement and then execute.
For future reference, you can save this layout as a Variant and then you can directly execute that report using that variant.

First try to determine if there are any user exits (screen exits actually) or BADI's which can do this.
For finding the relevant user exits, determine the transaction code first and search on SDN for the report in which you enter the transaction code, and which will return all user exits for this transaction.
For BAdI's there is also a program to be found on SDN.
Next read the documentation of these user exits / BAdI's and you will be on your way.

ADF to BPEL - Adding additional field for the web service call

I have an existing ADF project that invokes a BPEL process. Recently I added 2 new fields to the bpel process and I want to populate this additional fields from the ADF when calling the bpel process.
What is the best way to do this ? I dont see a way to regenerate the data control. Am I missing something ?

I manually added the 2 new fields in the ProjectName.xml and pagenamepagedef.xml files and also he necessary code in the bean class . But when i run it i still dont see the vallues passed to the bpel process.

Additional Field Infoset - how to display multiple values

I have created an extra field in an infoset and I can succesfully retrieve the value I need (with coding), only now I loop over a selection and then the last value that is retrieved is being displayed. How can you display all values of the selection, so you get several lines in the output?

I have a item list box and i have 3 enteries in it .If suppose i click on the first entry with out the action being called it displays the message but the same case is not getting happened with multiple value selection..means when i am clicking all the three fields none of the value is getting displayed. I think you need to show more programs.
you said, the report program is 'RHXPE_EXPIRED_QUALI', but you upload 'rhpk_find_pers_with_expired_qu' program.
usually, ALV field is modifyed in 'PERFORM fieldcatalog_modify', if you use Functional ALV.
Try to search 'fieldcatalog function', you will find easy.
