ADF - HELP - Hash Map Select Items more Action Button

Hi, I have that development a feature like with this.
The screen it will have the searches filters and a grid with your results, each item will have a column with 2 radio buttons.
On this screen the results are a list of suppliers with (ID SUPP, NAME, SUPP, STATUS SUPP) then will have to have more one column with 1 radio button for Free Register and other radio button for Block Register.
And a Button that will be the action of to set the list of values on its respective field on database, certainly this action of button will be done after the user obtain results of the grid. That action on screen when user performing a search will be returned the datas (I already have it developed).
The big question is ---> After the user do a search and to return more that one item, he will go select the list of suppliers some will have Free Register other Block Register after this action, the user will click on the button that will make to set a flag on field of database with a value defined.
Anyboy have some idea how may to develop this??

Free Register - > Have that to set a value like 0 on a field (FL_UPDATE) of my database
Block Register -> Have that to set a value like 1 on a field (FL_UPDATE) of my database
This items (Free Register and Block Register through radio button, with the property valueChangeListener I believe for to get the values them)
And inside this method of valueChangeListener I have that define what are the values selects like Free register (0) and Block Register (1).
After this, have that to define the action of button who be will to send this values for my database in its respectives fields, in others words I have who to make a UPDATE in this fields in accordance with what has been select in the radio buttons
I would like to know how will to process in the ADF, thought of HashMap, any idea or example the how do I will make this process???

My "more actions" button is now a ligher color and there is no longer a "move to" (folder) option. Everything I want to keep, I have to keep in the "inbox". Help?!?

Until 2 days ago, and I haven't made ANY other changes, not new programs or updates or anything, there has always been a button at the top of my in box as part of a toolbar. It includes "archive", "report spam" delete", "more actions" and "go". Now the "more actions" button no loner has a border on it, is white instead of beige, and no longer has an option to "move to" (another folder). The remaining ones are (another)"more actions", "mark as read", "mark as unread", "add star", "remove star", and "mute". There are options under those, separated by a line to "apply label" and "remove label". ******* Please, I need to be able to put my emails in folders or I won't be able to find anything without great difficulty. Are you talking about Thunderbird? This is the Firefox forum.
You can move messages from the inbox listing if you right-click them. If you already set up additional folders in your email account, you should be able to move messages to any of them. If you are trying to move a message while reading it in the message window, you can do that if you put the File button into the top tool bar and use that button.

Javascript help to copy selected items from one list to another list on same site

Hello,
So I have a request that I am not sure how to handle. I have created a page with a list view webpart that displays all the items from one list.
The user is then supposed to select off multiple list items and click on a button (most likely a ribbon button) that will take the selected items and copy them to another list on the same SharePoint site.
I would like to do this with JavaScript, but have only found an example that copies library items to another library.

According to your description, my understanding is that you want to copy selected list items to another list.
I suggest you can use JavaScript Client Object Model to achieve it.

Create a followup document with selected items using actions

Hi Experts,
We are working on CRM 5.0 with ECC 6.0 as backend.
As per the clients business process we have to create a service order automatically from a sales order whenever there is a serviceline item with item category ZSRV presents in the sales order. The service order which is created should only contain service line item with item category ZSRV. Which means the action should copy only the selected line items to the service order.
Now the problem is using the standard method COPY_DOCUMENT, I dont have any option for selecting the line items. I have found a method COPY_DEF_ITEMS which may be the most relavant for my scenario. But I am not able to give the processing parameters for this.
Can any body help me about how to use the standard method COPY_DEF_ITEMS.
Points shall be rewarded for the helpful answer.

PDF was never designed to support the Flash page curl effect (it didn't exist back then). Anything you try (and you've tried the standard hack) will look like a hack. Personally, I don't think the effort is worth it for an effect that's much overused.

Unable to dispaly selected item in option button

I am having problem with jsp code given below:
1. When user first time render this page , he is able to view all the options which is already stored in vector except "Selezionare provincia"
2. Now if user selects say "provincia2" ,the value selected for "Selezionare provincia" is also get stored in session
3. There are also some more items on the page to select but i am showing you the specific one
4. So suppose if user forget to fill up other data , the exception is thrown on same page,and for that event the value stored in session for "Selezionare provincia" (in our case its "provincia2") is not get displayed as selected value for that list.
5. which means that , when that list is get populated for second time form vector , the stored value should be dispalyed as selected value.
6. i was trying to put my logic by using some flag variable but its not working

How to retrieve selected item details (Product Id, Quantity) in Action clas

I want to retrieve the selected item details (Product Id, Quantity) in my custom action class .I am calling custom action event after u2018add to cartu2019 button clicked. I basically need these details to pass to custom BAPI. I can able to retrieve User Name and itemkey successfully. I Tried to retrieve the product , productID using WebCatItem but I was getting run time error and when I debug the code I can see webCatItem coming as null. Below is my code.

Hi Arvinda,
From which page you are trying to add products in cart? Are you selecting only 1 item at a time and then click on Add to cart button or you select more then 1 items to add into cart.
You can ceate hidden input filed and set their value through java script when you select any item. If more then 1 items then you can create an arry and set in the request parameter and then retrieve it in your custome class.

It means you try to sync an amount of content to your iPod Mini that exceeds for 4 GB, or the amount of space that is available on the iPod. See this article for more details.

Illustrator CS2 doesn't highlight selected items any more

hello, i use illustrator cs2, and since a few days - without having changed any options - the program doesn't highlight selected items any more. neither does it highlight selected text... so editing items becomes a guessing game which is extremeley annoying... i can't find anything on this in the help file... i hope anybody here can help me!

ADF-UIX can be tricky, and im stuck atm building some functionality, I hope
someone here can point me in a good direction
I have a multipleSelection table filled with data from a ViewObject. I also
have 2 MessageChoice components also filled with data from 2 ViewObjects.
I made a custom method in my AppMod accepting 3 params and dragged that method
on to a DataAction. And I have a submit button calling the DataAction.
Now comes the tricky part, how can I pass the selected rows (radiobuttons) and
the selected items from my MessageChoices to my custom method.
I know I have to change something in paramNames[0].value but what exactly, specialy
the multiselect from my table.

JDev 10.1.3 leverages an Application Development Framework (ADF) that you can learn about here: http://download-east.oracle.com/docs/pdf/B25947_01.pdf
Specifically, you'll want to look at chapters 2, 4, & 8 in the developer's guide to understand the framework and to understand how to use application modules to call service methods from a JSF page. You can also search this forum as there are other threads discussing this topic, but I'd recommend reviewing the developer guide first.

From my (short) experience, I've learned that you can call methods either using a bean or service methods on the Application Module. Since I am using ADF Business Components (BC), I try to implement any methods that interact with the BC's (view objects, etc.) as service methods on the Application Module (AM). If my method needs to purely implement logic related to the UI or Navigation, then I implement a method on a bean. The other case where I implement a method on a bean is if I need to do some pre-processing (i.e., gather info. about the state of the UI) prior to calling a service method on the AM (an example of this can be found in the dev guide related to the tableSelectMany component) - so there are some cases where the bean method will call a method on the AM - but again, if the method will update the model I try to use a method on the AM to accomplish this. Understanding the ADF framework is the first step (see the dev guide), and then I'd recommend looking at the SRDemo and previous posts on this forum.
Finally, one thing that is really cool - if you define a service method on your AM, it shows up in the data control pallette - you can drag and drop the method on the .jspx page and all of the bindings/wiring is done automatically for you (including handling passing of parameters.)

How can a classic report be filtered using one select item and dynamic action?

I have a page with 4 reports on it. The top report is an interactive report and the following 3 are classic reports. The users would like to be able to use a select list to filter the 3rd report by PO line number without refreshing the entire page.
After verifying that the report is set to allow partial refreshes, I took the following steps
1. Created a PO Line select item (p_po_line_select) in the same report region
2. Added p_po_line_select to the report query
3. Created a dynamic action on p_po_line_select with 2 true actions
     1. Set value (p_po_line_select)
     2. Refresh report region.
The Set Value dynamic step was not working; I would get an out of memory error at line 2, memory stack error, or the value did not get saved to session state depending on the settings I selected. I was able to get it working with the following set:
1. Action = Set Value
2. Set type = PL/SQL Expression
3. PL/SQL Expression = :p_field_does_not_exist
4.   Page items to submit = blank
5. Selection Type = Item(s)
6. Item(s) = p_field_does_not_exist
p_field_does_not_exist does not exist as a page or application item which leads me to believe that this is a bug and I am just lucky that it worked. I would rather know how to do this properly. Can someone please provide a link to a working example of how this should be done or state which settings are wrong?

Could not find selected item matching value "New" warning message in ADF

Hi,
I have a selectOneChoice1 for a field which has the following fixed values in it. And while creating it, I selected the 'SelctionRequired' option so that this field will always have a value.
New
Pending
Completed.
While navigating to this page, I am trying to set the value to 'New' (Retrieved from the DB) in the backing bean. But when the page is rendered, the above field is empty with the above options in the list and jdev has the follwing error message in its log.
WARNING: Could not find selected item matching value "New" in CoreSelectOneChoice[UIXEditableFacesBeanImpl, id=selectOneChoice1]
Can any one help me with this issue?

The value of a list binding is the zero-based integer position in the list that is selected, not the actual underlying value.
The simplest way to set the value of an attribute is to use an attribute binding (which can be bound to the same attribute as the list binding). When you set the value of an attribute binding, it sets the value as you supply it. Otherwise, you'd need to set the list binding's value to the numerical "slot" number of the one you want to change the value to.

ADF Tree with Boolean Check Box: How to find selected items

WLS: 10.3.6
I am using an ADF Tree which contains elements at two levels (say Departments and Employees). My requirement is to give provision for user to select Departments and Employees using the check boxes. User should be able to select what ever Departments he/she likes and what ever employees he/she likes. There should not be a provision to select Employee with out selecting the corresponding Department (root node in the tree).
I am facing the below issues while trying to implement this use case:
1. Always, only the first master record will be expanded by default (I am using "Display Row" property value as "default" and "ExpandAllEnabled" as "true"). My need is to expand all the master records by default. So that user need not explicitly expand each master record node and then select the associated child records.
2. Currently, I am using value change listener associated to af:selectBooleanCheckBox to identify the Departments and Employee records that have been selected. Since not all departments (masters) are expanded by default, if user selects the check box of department (master) and then expands the department node, automatically all the employees of that department are selected. But, this event is not triggering the value change listener for the employee records. Because of this, after a department node is selected and then expanded, all the child elements' check boxes are selected but the events are not generated. Hence, I am not able to capture the selection of employee records.
To summarize,
1. Please let me know how to expand all master nodes in af:Tree by default.
2. Please let me know the best approach to identify the selected items (both master and detail items) in the af:Tree component using af:selectBooleanCheckBox.

If your Import Settings are for Apple Lossless, AIFF, AAC or whatever the majority of your files are, convert MP3s to that file type.
I've presently got 17,000+ files in my library, and they're ALL MP3 or M4B(Audiobooks). If they weren't when I got them, I converted them. Saves a LOT of hassels with just this type of situation. Create new folder with selected items

I have a bunch of movies that I would like to place into individual folders of the same name (Without the extension name). I wanted to try and create a keyboard command to do this with the selected files, but can't manage to figure out how!
What I did was try to create a new service command in automator, then went to keyboard shortcuts in system preferences to assign a keyboard command to it.
I want to make something that works like control-command-n (to create new folder from selected items), only I want the items to be in individual folders of the same name.
eg.
Files selected such as:
The incredibles.avi
Cinderella.mkv
Dogma.mp4
each moved into individual folders labeled as:
The Incredibles
Cinderella
Dogma
Also, is there a way to change the control-command-n shortcut so it can create a new folder from a single item? It only works when there is more than one file selected.

I am going to guess that you start off with a single file - what are you doing to generate these files? My *Get Names of Finder Items* action can get a name to use in the *New Folder* action - items passed to the New Folder action will get copied to it, so a little more detail may help in creating the workflow.
The *Dispense Items Incrementally* action can also be used to dole out the items one at a time - knowing what the workflow is doing would help with the use of this action as well.
