ADF ignores font set in inputtext property

I have the following input text in a jspx page. I specified courier font using the drop down list in the property inspector in JDeveloper (11.1.2.1.0), no errors or warnings, but when I run the page the font is unchanged. Can anybody see why it's not working?
<af:inputText value="#{bindings.output1.inputValue}"
required="#{bindings.output1.hints.mandatory}" columns="80"
maximumLength="#{bindings.output1.hints.precision}"
shortDesc="#{bindings.output1.hints.tooltip}" id="it2" rows="10"
partialTriggers="cb1" readOnly="true"
inlineStyle="font-family:'Courier New', Courier, monospace; border-color:Black; border-style:groove; outline-style:ridge;">
<f:validator binding="#{bindings.output1.validator}"/>
</af:inputText>

Hi,
Set these attributes to contentStyle attribute for <af:inputText
Ex:
<af:inputText value="#{bindings.output1.inputValue}"
required="#{bindings.output1.hints.mandatory}" columns="80"
maximumLength="#{bindings.output1.hints.precision}"
shortDesc="#{bindings.output1.hints.tooltip}" id="it2" rows="10"
partialTriggers="cb1" readOnly="true"
inlineStyle="border-color:Black; border-style:groove; outline-style:ridge;"
contentStyle="font-family:'Courier New', Courier, monospace;">
<f:validator binding="#{bindings.output1.validator}"/>
</af:inputText>-Suresh

  • Hi how to set the visible property in oracle adf?

    Hi,
    I am new to oracle adf in my application one of the field is id and it is sequence generated value Whenever I entered remaining values and click on save then only it has to display with sequence generated value before saving it has to be in hide mode. Can any one help me how the approach is.

    As there are three ways through which you may pass a message to B2B, so there are three ways to set Action name property.
    If you are using SCA/Fabric then set below properties -
    b2b.fileName
    b2b.contentType
    If you are using JCA JMS adapter, then set below property -
    jca.jms.JMSProperty.ACTION_NAME
    If you are using JCA AQ adapter then set -
    ACTION_NAME

    Hi pankaj2008_singh,
    the chances that you get an answer for your question in this forum are very little.
    Please post your SAPscript questions in forum ABAP Development -> Form Printing.
    In spite of the name, SAPscript is not a scripting language.

  • Can't set managed bean property:

    Hi,
    I am trying to experiment with JSF and I am extending an example I downloaded from the web. When I added a new secret field and extened the bean. I get the following error. I trying to resolve this problem from two days , cant figure out why I get this exception. I tried changed the property name I still get the same error. It is something to do with the bean, I am not sure why its not able to set the property, I know that the get and set methods exist in the class file. Any help would be greatly appreciated . I have pasted the bean file, faces-config.xml, and the inputname.jsp file below. Thanks a lot.

    I have a query panel with 2 query criteria i.e. FirstName and DepartmentId where in DepartmentId is a drop down. The scenario is like when change the value of DepartmentId to 'Finance' with code value of '100' then my criteria attribute 'Firstaname' should be invisibe(queriable=false).
    Approach: Have overriden the queryOperationListener of adfquery as " queryOperationListener ="#{backingBeanScope.backing_queryLstener.processQueryOperation}" "
    My backing bean method goes as below :
    public void processQueryOperation(QueryOperationEvent queryOperationEvent) {
    // Add event code here...
    if( queryOperationEvent.getOperation().equals(queryOperationEvent.getOperation().CRITERION_UPDATE) ){
    DCBindingContainer bindings = (DCBindingContainer)this.getBindings();
    DCIteratorBinding iter =bindings.findIteratorBinding("EmployeeView1Iterator");
    ViewObjectImpl voimpl = (ViewObjectImpl)iter.getViewObject();
    ViewCriteria vc = voimpl.getViewCriteriaManager().getViewCriteria("EmployeeViewCriteriaDemo");
    Row currRow = vc.first();
    System.out.println("Department :"+currRow.getAttribute("DepartmentId"));
    if( (Integer)currRow.getAttribute("DepartmentId") ==100 ){
    AttributeDef[] attrs = voimpl.getAttributeDefs();
    int attrIndex = voimpl.getAttributeIndexOf("FirstName");
    ViewAttributeDefImpl attrDef = (ViewAttributeDefImpl) attrs[attrIndex];
    attrDef.setQueriable(false);
    // AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().addPartialTarget(getQryId1()); //here i need to refresh the query component which is not happening
    // refreshQueryComponent(getQryId1());
    Everything is happening as expected but the query panel s not get refreshed.When i refresh the whole link/page then i can see the change.
    Please suggest.
    Thanks in adv.

    Hi,
    can's say anything about the first part of the question as more insight to the implementation would be required. However, have a look at http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/developer-tools/adf/learnmore/83-bidi-synchronization-tree-form-401841.pdf, which may be what you are looking for
    To the second part: You can programmaticallly refresh the tree component from a managed bean. So instead of using the declarative PPR option (or ChangeEventPolicy set to PPR on the iterator binding) you can wire the submit button to the managed bean, perform your validation and if it fails don't refresh teh tree
    The call is
    AdfFacesContext.getCurrentInstance().addPartialTarget(the_tree_instance)

  • Why do I have to set the PrincipalName property on my discovered ApplicationComponent instances?

    In the simple example below I define three classes:
    MyComputerRoleClass (with base Microsoft.Windows.ComputerRole)
    MyLocalApplicationClass (with base Microsoft.Windows.LocalApplication)
    MyApplicationComponentClass (with base Microsoft.Windows.ApplicationComponent)
    As well as a hosting relationship
    MyLocalApplicationClassHostsMyApplicationComponentClass
    that let's MyLocalApplicationClass host MyApplicationComponentClasses.
    In a timed PowerShell discovery targeting the RootManagementServer (Root Management Server Emulator) I create
    1 MyComputerRoleClass instance
    1 MyLocalApplicationClass instance and
    2 MyApplicationComponentClass instances hosted on the instance of MyLocalApplicationClass
    By setting the PrincipalName property for the instances of MyComputerRoleClass
    and MyLocalApplicationClass I implicitly create hosting relationship instances of
    Microsoft.Windows.ComputerHostsComputerRole and Microsoft.Windows.ComputerHostsLocalApplication
    respectively.
    But why do I have to set PrincipalName on instances of MyApplicationComponentClass as well? If I don't I'll get this error:

    System Center Authoring Hub:
    "Any key properties of the class being discovered and the key properties of any of its parents must be provided. Values for other properties are optional. In this example [as well as mine], the class being discovered is hosted by Windows Computer

  • WCF :Consider marking the type with the CollectionDataContractAttribute attribute or the SerializableAttribute attribute or adding a setter to the property

    Hi All,
    Currently I am working in a WCF project here when I try to send data from WCF Project 1 to WCF project 2 I am getting the below error.
    The formatter threw an exception while trying to deserialize the message: There was an error while trying to deserialize parameter http://tempuri.org/:subscriber. The InnerException message was 'The use of type 'Integra.Business.ICC.ObjectChangeTracker'
    as a get-only collection is not supported with NetDataContractSerializer.  Consider marking the type with the CollectionDataContractAttribute attribute or the SerializableAttribute attribute or adding a setter to the property.'.  Please see InnerException
    for more details.
    I don't understand what issue this is since I am new to WCF. Please help me on this thanks in advance.

    You've posted to a forum for Microsoft Project - a project management program.  Please re-post your question to the WCF forum:

  • How to set the cardinality property as 1..n for a dynamically created node

    Hi...everybody
        I am creating Dropdown by index UI element and the
    context atrributes dynamically.To bind multiple data to a dropdown
    the cardinality property of the node should be 0..n or 1..n,
    But i could not set the property of the dynamically created context node to 0..n ...
    can any body suggest me..
    I implemented the following code in WDDoModify View
    IWDTransparentContainer tc=(IWDTransparentContainer)view.getElement("RootUIElementContainer");
    IWDNodeInfo node = wdContext.getNodeInfo().addChild("DynamicNode",null,true,true,false,false,false,true,null,
              null,null);
    IWDAttributeInfo strinfo=node.addAttribute("Value","ddic:com.sap.dictionary.string");
    dbyindex.bindTexts(strinfo);
    tc.addChild(dbyindex);
    I could successfully display one value in the drop down,by adding the following code before the line tc.addchild(dbyindex);
    IWDNode node1=wdContext.getChildNode("DynamicNode",0);
    IWDNodeElement nodeElement=node1.createElement();
    nodeElement.setAttributeValue("Value","Hello");
    node1.addElement(nodeElement);
    but when
    i am trying to bind multiple values i am getting Exception ,,,,

    hi
    you are getting the exception because of cardinality property.
    i.e   true,false and
    you are trying to add morethan one element.
    so,if you want to add morethan one than one element you have to set the cardinality property to true,true (or) false,true.
    In your code do the following modification for changing the cardinality.
    For 0..n -->false,true
          1..n-->true,true
    IWDTransparentContainer tc=(IWDTransparentContainer)view.getElement("RootUIElementContainer");
    IWDNodeInfo node = wdContext.getNodeInfo().addChild("DynamicNode",null,true,true,false,false,false,true,null,
    null,null);
    IWDAttributeInfo strinfo=node.addAttribute("Value","ddic:com.sap.dictionary.string");
    dbyindex.bindTexts(strinfo);
    tc.addChild(dbyindex);
    hope this will solve your problem.
    In addchild(..) the parameters are
    addChild("Name ,
                    Element class for model node ,
                    Is singleton? ,
                    Cardinality ,
                    Selection cardinality ,
                    Initialise lead selection? ,
                    Datatype ,
                    Supplier function ,
                     Disposer function);

  • How to set UOO(bea_unitoforder) property within BPEL Adapter property

    Hi,
    In oracle documentation JMS message payload field values can be used as correlation properties.
    Correlation property aliases are used to define from which payload field the correlation property value is taken.
    I need to set the correlation property value from a JMS message header field instead of payload fields. (=JMS JCA Adapter properties).I have a UOO value set same for all messages.Now I need to set this WL property to JMS JCA Adapter property and then create one single instance for all messages in queue.
    Routing a New message to a (New or) Existing Instance:
    http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E28389_01/dev.1111/e10224/bp_correlate.htm#CHDDJEAI
    How is it possible in BPEL???
    Thanks

  • Problems setting managed bean property of type Integer

    I got a problem when I use valueBinding #{param.productId} in faces-config.xml for my managed bean:
    My property 'productId' in bean Product is of type Integer, and my bean is in request scope. When I try to invoke some action on page, wich should navigate me to another view - JSF is trying to set productId for current view, and of course it is empty (""), and for the reasons given above I'm getting an error:
    javax.faces.FacesException: Can't set managed bean property: 'applicationId'.

    Should I use requestScope instead of param to have my parameter null, and not "" ?
    If so, how should I pass requestScope parameter using commandLink?

    Hi! I have a problem with setting params too. Probably my one is different.
    I have a jsp page which show a datatable, where I can see a row for each Product. If I click on its name I would navigate to another page that shows product informations, as several ecommerce sites do.
    But I can't understand what and how I must set to inform the details page on which product have to show.
    I read in this forum that it's possible to set a parameter in productBean, and then the constructor of product bean loads others fields knowing its id.
    The snippet of my faces-config.xml is:
      <managed-bean>
        <managed-bean-name>product</managed-bean-name>
        <managed-bean-class>test.backing.ProductBean</managed-bean-class>
        <managed-bean-scope>request</managed-bean-scope>
        <managed-property>
          <property-name>idToLoad</property-name>
          <property-class>java.lang.Integer</property-class>
          <value>#{param.id}</value>
        </managed-property>
      </managed-bean>It is possible? is a correct solution? and if it is, how can I do that?
    Thanks very much if someone can resolve my problem.
    Claudio.

  • Default Japanese font setting in Linux

    Hi,
    I'm using flashplayer in Debian/Ubuntu, and default Japanese font setting in flash is kind of crap...
      It seems that Kochi font should be installed.  Kochi (東風) font is very old and it is not used so much
    as 10 years ago Now Linux users use VLGothic or IPAGothic as Japanese font by default.
    My question is,
      - How users can change default font setting?
      - Where/who is the contact address for this issiue?
    #I'm also maintainer for most of Japanese font packages in Debian/Ubuntu. In my opinion, Kochi
       should be dropped in near future (see package description)

    If you don't hear anything about this issue within a few days, please send a PM to http://forums.adobe.com/people/libflashplayer.so and/or http://forums.adobe.com/people/chris.campbell with a link to this topic.
